My Experience - 2002 Nissan Altima
2002 Nissan Altima SE
I haven't had many issues with my car, being as it's a 2002 model. It still runs great. I'm unsure of any issues that previous owner(s) may have had and to the extent of repairs my father has completed since our purchase of the car 6 years ago. I absolutely love my heated seats; however, all of the seats are showing wear and tear, especially along the seams. The steering wheel is as well. These, of course, are to be expected from a car made so long ago. My CD changer broke a few years ago, so I have been unable to utilize that feature. This is a real bummer as there isn't an aux port and the car doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. Again, to be expected from an older car, but it's kind of a let down in today's technological world. We did have to disconnect my sunroof as it would open outwards, but you could no longer get it to close without taking very annoying and drastic measures to get a possible result. About a year ago, the front passenger window lost its capability to use the automatic feature to close properly. It will automatically open, but you have to manually close it. Other than a few minor issues here and there, mainly based on convenience standards, the car is fantastic. I got rear-ended in a traffic jam once and walked away with not so much as a minor dent so that's a plus in my book.
