Amazing safety features and range.
I purchased my Nissan leaf plus in the sv trim so that I could have some of the additional safety and quality of life features available for that trim. The car alerts you when cars are in blind spots, when you are approaching a car too quickly, and when you are swerving out of the lane. It also has an autopilot feature that is a life saver in traffic! The battery range is great for a mid range vehicle, and the charger network is good for longer drives outside of the range. The interior is nice, but it is a little small inside. However, of all the electric vehicles I test drove, the leaf was by far the most comfortable in its size.

Nissan 2019 leaf car review.
The leaf has a very efficient mileage with comfortable seats which provide a luxurious driving experience. The dashboard is well crafted and so is the exterior of the car, which could appear as a luxury model. Overall the car is an absolute joy to have and I have no regrets buying it.

No gas! No exhaust! Charges on the garage.
No problems. So far no mechanical problems. No exhaust! No need to get gas ever! Charges in our garage. Saves money. No oil changes! Did well in the snow with snow chains. Fits 5 passengers. Has enough trunk space. Accelerates well. Unfortunately does not have a spare tire.

2019 leaf no gas all fun!
The leaf is great for driving throughout small cities and the increased battery level makes range anxiety non existent. The initial power of an electric car is also a nice change of pace when entering highways and passing vehicles at highway speeds. I would strongly recommend the leaf as electric vehicles are the way of the future.

2019 leaf sv is very quiet and efficient.
My leaf is very efficient and has a great driving feel to include powerful acceleration and quieter than most other cars. The options are great on the sv trim and I am glad I didn’t spend the extra money on the sl trim. The car is best suited for daily commuting and not for long road trips due to the time it would take to recharge.

Low cost to operate due to its electric motor. Comfortable to drive.
I love my 2019 Nissan leaf s plus. I have owned 2 previous leafs and this is the best one. It gets consistently 230-miles between charges. It has very good pick-up and is very comfortable to drive. I have taken on some longer trips of 300 or more miles and it is fine. I am anticipating taking on even longer trips of 1000 or more soon.

Great if you just need transportation to and from work or to run errands.
My 2019 Nissan leaf performs great. It has a feature that semi auto drives which is very helpful when I am on the highway as it follows my lane for me. The only thing I am do not really like about it is that it only has around 150 mile range, which makes it hard to take on long road trips, other than that it is a great vehicle for commuting to and from work or just running errands.

Optional propilot assist, automatic braking, standard blind spot warning.
It is an ev car that has a 40-kwh battery that delivered a range of 150 mile and it takes 8 hours to charge, the leaf's ride is a bit tender, which makes it feel soft until it hits a bump hard, handling is mundane but secure and the optional propilot assist can keep the car in its lane and adjust its speed according to traffic.

Leaf sucks in winter and/or highway
The previous review is bs. Leaf sucks in winter and on highway. You hardly can do 90km on full charge when driving at even 80km/hr without any heat or ac or audio.

Battery is heating up
During a 5 hour trip and after recharging on a fast charger the battery overheated and gave me a warning and the slow turtle. I had to stop and let the batter cool off. After an hour it did not cool off, so I started driving around 60 miles per hour. This vehicle is not good for long trips.

A comfortable and reliable vehicle.
Thus far I haven't had any problems with my 2019 Nissan leaf. I have found it to be very comfortable. It has nice acceleration and because it is an electric vehicle it runs very quietly. This is my first electric car so I. Do not have any frame of reference to compare this lead to other electric vehicles. However, from my experience with this vehicle I expect my next vehicle will be an electric vehicle. A Nissan most likely.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Samantha B.

It is an electric vehicle which lessens my costs and helps the environment. The vehicle is the perfect size for me and it is a very smooth ride. Also there are lots of perks to an electric vehicle like using the express lanes.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Samantha B.

The cons of the vehicle are that the doors are difficult to unlock from the inside. Another con is that I do not get an alert when the windshield wiper fluid is low. Other than this the car is great and I love it.

Is The 2019 Nissan LEAF A Good Car?

Yes. It is a great vehicle. Easy to charge, quick acceleration, love the e pedal feature, how quiet it is, and the telematics included.
Daniela V.

How Reliable Is The 2019 Nissan LEAF?

Using the heater drains quite a bit of battery. Heated seats should be standard due to more efficiency. Also blind spots in the front of the car are not convenient.
Daniela V.

Is The 2019 Nissan LEAF A Good Value?

30k. I got mine used for less and was a better value. Although I do not think it's a great value because I can't upgrade from a 40 kwh battery to a 60 kwh.
