The 2021 Tesla Model 3 lasts over 300,000 miles with some driving aids and build quality issues reported. At $39,990 to $56,990, it’s expensive, but worth the money for an EV with very low ownership costs as it ages.

The touchscreen is distracting to use, the rear seats don’t have a ton of room and the suspension is firm.

My favorite features of the 2021 tesla model 3.
The 2021 tesla model 3 feels like I am in a spaceship. Barely any noise comes from the engine and charging has proved to be not a hassle. Charging stations are placed strategically in restaurant or shopping mall parking lots so the car can charge while you eat or shop. The new charging cable allows you to charge at home. I enjoy the technology and ease of the “dashboard”. Autopilot is a very fun feature which I like to use on the highways. The material of the seats is very soft and easy to clean in case of any spills. There is more room than expected in the trunk space and also the front trunk has decent space for groceries. This is by far the most fun car I have ever driven and rode around in. To complete a full charge; it costs me roughly $7.00. I love the safety mode “sentry” that tesla provides. It alerts me on my phone if there is an event which could be a breach of security and it allows me to download data and camera footage for insurance purposes. Tesla also has a dashboard camera which runs all the time. I find this to be very comforting for insurance purposes in case of wrecks or other damage to the car. All in all, the tesla model 3 is a perfect car for someone in the city with few road trips during the year. I believe many people will begin buying teslas to change the future of electric vehicles in the United States.

The vehicle is run by a computer and the tech is always on the cutting edge.
My first electric vehicle. So far I love it! Yes, you have to get used to charging at home or supercharger stations, but I can tell you I do not miss going to gas stations. Large trips take longer, but I will take that inconvenience when all the other positive points outweigh the negative.

No problem at all. Best car I have ever had. It is a very quiet car that drives super smooth. Autopilot is amazing. I think you need to purchase this car. It is also electric and has the biggest screen I have ever seen in a car. This car is definitely a futuristic car.

Common problems found on the 2021 Tesla Model 3 include overly sensitive driving aids, cracked roof glass, along with some general build-quality issues. Overall, these problems are similar to other electric cars, leading to lower repair costs as the Model 3 ages.

You can also adjust some of the driving aids through the central screen.

Cracked roof glass on the panoramic sunroof is another issue reported by some Model 3 owners. The glass is prone to cracking when hit by rocks. The only way to fix the problem is by replacing the panels of glass, which cost around $1,500, depending on local labor rates.

General build quality issues still show up on some 2021 Model 3s, although they’re not as widespread as in earlier years. Problems like panel alignment, loose interior parts, along with items missing clips or screws still show up. Most of these issues can be fixed under warranty for free.

The 2021 Tesla Model 3 is one of the best compact electric cars on the market since it offers very low ownership costs paired with a fun driving experience.

The Tesla Model Y is an SUV offered by Tesla which costs around $5,000 more. Both the Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3 are built on the same base platform, while the Model Y has more passenger and cargo room. We recommend the Tesla Model 3 since it’s cheaper, although if you need the extra space then the Model Y is a great choice.

The Tesla Model S is a larger sedan made by Tesla which costs over $40,000 more. Performance and interior materials are both better in the Tesla Model S, while the Tesla Model 3 feels more nimble to drive. We recommend the Tesla Model 3 for most buyers unless you want to spend the extra money to have the company’s flagship sedan.
