Toyota cars are easy to maintain requiring very little maintenance and well worth the money spent. Toyota vehicles looks very nice, extremely comfortable and rides smoothly. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.
Excellent gas mileage. Only 1 recall for heated seats. 14 Years old and still drives new. Paint has held up very well, no issues. Seats are still having that new look. Carpets are worn somewhat but its expected.
The pros is all the space inside the vehicle and the smoothness on the road. It has safe technology on the cruise control that lets you know if you are too close to another vehicle. It automatically slows down when needed. The engine lasts forever.
I bought this car used in 2008 and it has been a fantastic car. I have had very few problems with this car. It drives very well and is quite roomy. It is still a very stylish car and is so comfortable to sit in as a passenger or driver.
Has good gas usage and has enough room inside to sit comfortably. Has easy steering and control of car. It had only low miles and one owner with body of vehicle intact. Easy to move in and out of traffic, ac is good and needs no charging. Also has good size trunk for several suitcases for traveling.
Some of the things that are positive about the Avalon it is spacious and luxurious it is rides smoothly and decent on gas. It is somewhat reliable. I like the look and style of the car. There's not much else I have to say on the pros.
Good sturdy car. It drives well and has a big body. Since it is 2006 the parts are a lot older but the car still works well. It runs smoothly and has good gas mileage. The seats are leather which is better in less hot weather but it is a very comfortable and spacious car.
Very roomy, comfortable and heated seats. Lots of space in the arm compartment. Very easy to adjust the seats to your liking. Control to open the trunk without having to use a key. Great car for road trips.
There are no true cons in my opinion. I would like to see more variations in color in the years to come. That will give customers more options on customization. Toyota has always been a brand to taking a licking and keep on ticking.
I think we are on our 4th set of tires. Have had the usual tune ups. There is a hairline crack on dashboard. There is no real issues to point out. Replaced wiper blades a few times, which is normal. Have flushed radiator which is normally.
The cons are how expensive the tires are when they need replacing. Also, the key fob battery dies quickly. If the battery dies you have no other way to start your vehicle. Oil changes for the car are very expensive and filling up the car is very expensive as well.
I have no complaints about this car. If I ever have to buy another car, I would love to have another Toyota, in particular, an Avalon. I have thought hard about the cons of this automobile and I really cannot think of any.
Things are that it is a large sedan so does take more gas to fill tank. It does not have updated technology such as lane change alert or GPS system. It does not have the USB plug available for the new phones so you have to buy adapter to be able to go thru radio.
Well after three years of owning the 2006 Toyota Avalon I had to replace the engine. That is a big con, so needless to say I would not buy another Avalon nor recommend one. I trusted Toyota but not anymore since they offered no help with the defective car,!
It is very old so I have had to replace many things. It is old leather so there is some damage in the interior. Since it is so old I am concerned it will not run for much longer. The paint and body is rusting slowly as well.
There really is not a lot of negative to say about this car. I love every detail of my Toyota Avalon. Great mileage and very comfortable car for road trips plenty of room in the back. No cons to mention about this make and model of car.
The 2006 Toyota Avalon has an average owner rating of 4.52 out of 5 which ranks it #1 of 11 other Large Cars.
