Hard to please car buyer/mom of an adventurous crew loves the highlander hybrid!
I had been really sad when our former family vehicle, the Acura mdx, broke down. I was hesitant to buy another model because I had really enjoyed the features of the Acura. I didn't think I would find another I liked. Until I saw the Toyota highlander hybrid. It had everything I was looking for: roof racks, leather seats (I have 5 children and need easily cleaned interior), third row seating to sit all 7 of us, a backup camera for safety, and of course, its hybrid capabilities. On a good trip we get 27 miles per gallon and I haven't seen my old car do that! I like the automatic opening of the hatch too which is very helpful when loading and unloading groceries or luggage. We have a tow package on ours and are able to haul anything we could want! We also love that we can plop our kayaks or the canoe on top. I love this car and will probably stick with Toyota highlanders as long as I use an SUV!

I love the electric part of it. Really helps to save in gas.
Quiet engine, and great on gas considering it is half electric. Very reliable and sturdy. Has sunroof for maximum air flow through your car. 4 wheel drive helps when going hiking and trying to find a good spot on a hill. All around dependable car. It is a must have.

The best hybrid SUV on the market!
My highlander hybrid rides like a dream! Super comfortable with heated seats in the front, a third row so all the kids can stretch out, and smooth sailing. This SUV handles like a smaller cross over and is surprisingly fast and powerful for its size. I never feel like I am driving a huge vehicle. Great on gas and the switch from electric to gas is always so seamless, I barely notice. This is the perfect family vehicle for commutes to school and work in the morning as it does really well mpg on the highway due to the hybrid engine technology. The DVD screen is a perfect size and all rear passengers have a great view of the movie; remote for the DVD is also super convenient, as is being able to control it all front the driver's seat if necessary. I cannot rave about my highlander hybrid enough, honestly have not had any problems since 2012. Take good care of it with regular check-ups, oil changes, etc., and it will take good care of you and your family! While an everyday family car in terms of functionality it is also a really good looking car that can take you from daycare drop offs to happy hour with the girls on Friday. The GPS and Sirius radio are also great perks to have and everything is placed in the interior to provide comfort at your fingertips - literally with controls on the steering wheel! Highly recommend the highlander hybrid to any buyer looking for an SUV - even if not for a hybrid. Test drive one and you will love it!

A reliable and comfortable Toyota make.
The Toyota highlander hybrid has many features such as heated seats, Bluetooth audio, and air conditioning that create a more enjoyable driving experience. The car features a parking brake located on the left bottom corner and has a gear shift located on the right side of the driver. As most Toyotas are, it is very reliable and gets very good gas mileage. It also lasts for a long period of time so there will be no need to get a new car too quickly. I have never experienced any mechanical problems with this car either.

Toyota in all its glory.
It is ok, there was a little situation where the car overheated and caught fire for a short period of time. Besides that, it is a really good car. It has a feel smooth drive which makes the drive rally comfortable, and can go far distances which is good. So, overall it is a good car.
