Chevrolet models are known for their stunning looks, hardworking features, and a few incredible performance states. The problem is, in our last count, there were 17 different Chevrolet models you could choose from, each offering numerous trims. Which Chevrolet models should you buy when you’re in the market?

Spark: $12,465 – $18,895

The Chevrolet Spark is a fun, super-efficient car that gives you lots of maneuverability and control. It features some nice tech, too, including available built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi, dual USB ports, and connectivity through AppleCar Play and Android Audio.

Sonic: $16,720 – $22,395

Priced right, the Chevrolet Sonic is available as both a sedan and a hatchback. It’s small, with 47.7 cu. ft. of cargo space, but it’s a happy, nimble car that’s easy to love. The Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine gives it 138 horsepower, which is ample for driving around town.

Its fuel economy isn’t as good as the Spark, but it’s still solid. It also features all of the tech you want, including a standard touchscreen display with smartphone connectivity. Upgrade to premium sound systems and SiriusXM if you’re after more connectivity.

Malibu: $22,095 – $34,295

The standard in Chevrolet sedans, the Malibu has plenty to offer drivers, including a nice sportiness to it and ample safety. There are two engine options, a 1.5L turbo, and a 2.0-L turbo, and both offer impressive function and good gas mileage.

Impala: $31,620 – $37,595

A step up is the Chevrolet Impala, which gives you more space (18.8 cu. ft. of cargo room) as well as more power – 305 maximum horsepower available. With room for five adults, the Impala is the full-size sedan you need when you want style and class.

The exterior has extra chrome features and a nice body style, but inside you find more technology, including the Chevrolet Infotainment System with an 8-inch touchscreen display, text hands-free features, and smartphone connectivity for Android and Apple. Even better, Alexa is onboard this model.

The base model features a 3.6L V6 engine with 305 horsepower capability and direct injection. You’ll still get good fuel economy all around. For more performance, go with the Premier model.

Bolt: $36,620 – $41,895

Energy-conscious drivers will find the Chevrolet Bolt a solid buy. It’s got a lot of pep at 200 horsepower and gets an EPA-estate 259 EV range. Another nice benefit is the eight-year 100,000-mile battery warranty (that’s a nice upgrade).

The Corvette Stingray does even better than the Camaro, providing up to 495 horsepower, 470 lb.-ft. of torque, and a 0 to 60 time of just 2.9 seconds. The top track speed hit 194 mph on this car. This, along with the FE2 suspension system and strong transmission, is outstanding.

An upgrade, the Trax features a compact, yet sporty design with available AWD, ample roof for up to five people, and 48.4 cu. ft. of cargo space. It gets good fuel economy at 26 city/31 hwy mpg and gives the kids the entertainment features they (and you) want.

With multiple seat folding options, drivers are going to get more room to play. That, along with the Infotainment 3 System, creates opportunities for connectivity and driver safety. Most of the driver safety features are available, not standard, but that’s typical here.

There’s a bit more room here, at 63.9 cu. ft. of max cargo, and room for five, but you’ll also get more towing out of the Equinox at 3,500 pounds. You still get outstanding fuel economy at 26 city/31 hwy mpg, but this car adds in some key features.

A larger vehicle, the Blazer is more of a workhorse for families or more. It has room for five, max cargo of 64.2 cu. ft., and up to 4,500 pounds of towing capacity (trailer? – you’re covered)! Several trim options exist, giving you various body styling and interior features.

A much bigger vehicle with room for eight, the Chevrolet Traverse offers maximum cargo of 98.2 cu. ft. With maximum towing of 5,000 pounds, you can easily bring that smaller boat along for the ride. This midsized vehicle also has attractive exterior styling.

Big, with 144.7 cu. ft. of maximum cargo, the Suburban gives you more passenger room, with room for up to nine people. It’s packed with driver assist features as well (though some are still available and not standard).
