If You want to know what type of oil to use on Your 2013 Ford F-150, then look no further. The oil types are Motorcraft SAE 5W-20 Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil and Motorcraft SAE 5W-20 Full Synthetic Motor Oil. The 3.5 L EcoBoost uses a different viscosity and it is SAE 5W-30 premium synthetic or full synthetic. The oil capacity on the 3.7L and 3.5 L EcoBoost engines iS6 quarts. The 5.0 L has a capacity of 7.7 quarts while the 6.2 L iS7 quarts. If I could give You a word of advice, it would be to check Your oil at least once a week to make sure You're not running too low.

8 qts for the 5.0 and it doesn't hurt anything to run it low. It actually frees up HP. Not to say run it a full qt low but it will hurt nothing. In fact that's better then being on the high side.

Use of synthetic or synthetic blend motor oil is not mandatory for the 2013 Ford F-150. Engine oil need only meet the requirements of Ford specification WSS-M2C946-A, SAE 5W-30 (3.5L EcoBoost engine), or WSS-M2C945-A, SAE 5W-20 (3.7L, 5.0L, and 6.2L engines), and display the API Certification Mark. The 2013 Ford F-150 capacity for oil is recommended by engine size, 3.7L engine 6.0 quarts, 5.0L engine 7.7 quarts and 6.2L engine 7.0 quarts of oil.
