Across its various configurations, the 2019 Ford Edge came with one of two different engines. You may either have the 2.0 liter turbocharged 4Cylinder or the 2.7 liter turbocharged V6 under Your hood. The smaller of the two engines requireS5.7 quarts of SAE 5W-30 or SAE 0W-30 full synthetic oil, though You can substitute SAE 5W-40 over short periods (in temperate climates). The larger engine requireS6.0 quarts of the same. A note about oil weight; You should always use the manufacturer suggested oil with the LOWEST numbers in the weight, if possible. This will ensure good operation at low temperatures, and will keep Your engine working more efficiently and lasting longer. Even though they're a hair more expensive, You'll thank Yourself in the long run.
