Wiper problems are all too common in the 2016 Ford F-150.There has been numerous complains of the wipers staring on their own or not being able to turn them off. This issue is usually due to a bad wiper switch. The wiper arm has a tendency to strip the gears, this happens more often when under a heavy snow load or iced over windshield. Other issues have been for wiper motor failure and bad sprayer pumps. On models with rain sensing wipers, the sensor can detach form the windshield and make the function inoperable. If the rearview mirror is damaged, it can cause the rain sensor not work, because it shares the same electrical circuit.

My 2016 ford f150's windshield wipers will not shut off once turned on. It's rediculous that Ford will not stand behind a problem they know they have especially as much as these vehicles cost..... Rediculous

The 2016 ford f150 does have issues with its windshield wiper such as it doesn't turn off or shut off after turning it on or using it. Hence, this particular problem has been reported for this vehicle.

Issues like this need to be reported to the Ford Motor Company Customer service help line. Our local dealership wanted to keep it "in house". While that may be their business model to increase service department revenues, when an issue is so.chronic across the board, reporting it to FMC is the only way a recall can be established for a problem that effects multiple vehicles of the same model. The CS number is: 800-392-3673.do us ALL a favor and report this issue. They just did a a sweeping recall on the wiper switch for 22 year models for the wipers not turning on. While it's the polar opposite problem from ours, they won't know if we don't tell them.
