According to the owners manual, the transmission fluid level in a 2013 Ford Focus should be done by an authorized dealer or certified technician every time the oil is changed. This focus does not have a transmission fluid dipstick so the level has to be checked via the fill hole. The car must be on a level surface and the front driver side tire needs to be removed. The fill hole plug is located just above the driver side CV axle shaft, when looking in at the transmission from the wheel well, it's juSTSlightly behind the subframe. The best way to remove it is with A8 millimeter Allen key on a swivel extension. The fluid should be level with the bottom of the threads on the fill hole.

To check the transmission fluid in a 2013 ford focus, simply use the check valve that is located at the bottom of this vehicle.

The most common location to check the transmission fluid on a 2013 ford focus is the transmission check valve on the transmission housing itself, which can only be accessed while the car is level.
