To open the rear hatch window on the 2017 Ford Expedition push the release button above Your license plate and just to the right of the rear-view camera. Once the lock is released just lift the window up. It is not uncommon for the lock actuator to fail and not allow the window to latch when closed. Replacing it is pretty easy, You'll need a Phillips and flat screwdriver, and a T-27 torxBit and driver. Remove the two plastic pins on either side of the locking mechanism. Now move the plastic trim up and back to reveal the two T-27 torx head bolts, remove them and disconnect the electrical connector. The actuator will slide right out.
