To turn off the 2019 Ford Escape interior lights, either push the lower brightness control button repeatedly, which is to the right of the headlight control dial, this will dim the dashboard lights brightness or turn them off completely. To increase the brightness, press the upper button until Your preferred level is reached. The display on the dash will say Instrument Dimming and a bar will appear to represent the brightness intensity. To turn the overhead lights off or on, simply push up on the light itself. If one of the doors are open, the interior lights will illuminate, check to see which door isnt closed and once it is closed, the interior lights will go off.

Interior lights are automatic in the ford escape 2019. They will automatically be turned on when a door or trunk is open. They will turn off automatically when the car is turned off.

Ford doesn't have a switch to keep interior lights or exterior lights off when the door is open. Sucks when you're camping. Lots of bugs! I will never buy a Ford again for this reason alone unless they fix the issue.

My company vehicle is a Ford Escape and I positively hate the fact that the lights come on every time I open the door I work in a dark area and sometimes I have to be a little bit more incognito but no Ford make sure they lock that feature down and so now I've had to put electrical tape over those lights Quick Fix tape looks great stupid Ford
