If You want to know what the life expectancy is on the 2010 Honda Insight, You've come to the right place. With proper care and maintenance, the Honda Insight can last up to 150,000 miles. If You don't know what proper care and maintenance mean, I can help explain. What iMean by that is that You need to do Your regular tune ups, change the oil according to schedule, top off Your fluids, replace air filters, keep the fuel tank above a quarter on the fuel gauge, and don't wait until the last minute to repair Your vehicle. One of the things I like to tell others is that You need to treat Your car like Your most prized possession, when You do You'll notice the difference in how long it lasts.

I have a 2010 Honda Insight with 300,020 mi. And running perfectly with no issue. Replaced a catalytic converter at 280,000 was all that was needed other than routine maintenance, wear and tear and new front tires every 3 years.

I have an Insight and bought it with 2,000 miles on it in 2010. We have driven that car everywhere(until we got a CRV due to a growing family). It sat untouched for seven months due to a dead battery(just need a charge....long story) and revived like new. It currently has close to 200,000 and is still driving like a champ. We live on a bump, steep incline mountain gravel driveway and I have only had to have my alignment fixed once. This car has driven us in the desert, the Rockys, to Canada, and much more. It is a straight up beast to be so little. I think my car has an exceptional amount of time left. It still drives like the first day I got it(and we beat up cars)

I saw one answer that said 150,000 miles. Mine was just getting broken in at that point. I’ve got 200K on it so far and the only thing I replaced was the AC condenser. I do the normal maintenance of oil changes, air filters and once a timing belt. I know one guy who has a quarter of a million miles on his. I did some upgrades to make it relevant in 2021. I took out the radio and put in new head unit that has a lot more features like Apple play and a backup camera. I also installed a dashcam which adds many other features as well.

Mine has 220,000, running great. Going to get shocks and struts soon. Original storage battery, no work on it except regular maintenance stuff.

My 2010 has 160,000 miles, still getting 42 mpg, changed the battery once, (not the hybrid batteries which are still over 90%) and change the oil and fluids as directed. Hard on tires but easy on brakes, still on my second set. I have driven every mile on it and other than flat tires it has never left me stranded. I paid $23,000, in January 2010 and love the way it handles on the road. I will probably keep it until it dies, in hopefully another 160,000 miles.

2010 new front wheel bearings, rear shocks, lower control arms, tie rod ends and struts. Less than 300 bucks on eBay. Car has 312k. I don’t mind putting money into this car. Pays itself back quick. Still get 40-42mpg.. Great car!
