There are a number of reasons that a radio can fail, including in the 2014 Ram 1500. However, without more information, the possibilities really are limitless. How, precisely, is the radio failing Are You getting no sound Are You getting static Do Your other Audio inputs work Is the unit receiving power at all Everything indicates something that would be an entirely different issue. If You're getting no sound at all, You're likely looking at a wiring issue to Your speakers. Static from radio stations, but other Audio inputs work Then Your antenna is likely to blame. If You have no power overall to Your head unit, then it's either a separate wiring issue, or Your head unit itself has failed.

Use an aux cord from your phone to the aux plug on your radio and stream your favorite radio station.

Sometimes my entertainment screen has a pretty significant delay and won't even show backup camera. I'm not waiting 1-2 minutes to back out of a parking lot because of this. Parking lot passer-goers beware. I will reverse in the blind without hesitation, and complete lack of regard for life or property.
