Sunroof, 4 wheel drive, no rust, low mileage. Plus it was the only 4wd that we could afford at the time. Cons had a few dents in the side. The corner of the front bumper was sticking out a little bit.
Decent engine that gets decent gas mileage, fits 5 people comfortably, great cargo space and the back seats fold down to fit larger items, high undercarriage clearance (do not have to worry about picking up debris or catching branches underneath).
It is extremely spacious and is able to take a beating from the horrible roads in Houston. Great leg room and can fit everything I need inside. Can be used as a truck without the exposed bed. It is been very reliable and rugged.
The front bumper was struck out just a little bit. It was almost 10 years old when we bought it. The interest rate was too high but only one we could afford at the time. I don't like that the spare is under the vehicle.
Plastic bumpers, electronic components have needed a lot of maintenance/work, the whole vehicle has required a lot of work over the years, the back seats are not the most comfortable (feels like you are perched back there).
Gas mileage is pretty poor but it is expected with an SUV. Not the most beautiful exterior or interior, but it is a work truck not something to show off. It is not great for long road trips or taking on vacation.
The 2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer has an average owner rating of 4.25 out of 5 which ranks it #15 of 25 other Midsize SUVs.
