I purchased my 2019 Chevy Traverse new and at 50K miles I've already had to have $2800 of major repairs done. I had to repair my Front Exhaust Pipe and Muffler that was not covered by my powertrain warranty that cost $1600 and my bank 1 catalytic converter was cracked and had an exhaust leak that would have cost $1200 to repair. Fortunately, the catalytic converter was covered under my powertrain warranty. Sorry I purchased this vehicle!!!

Fantastic family vehicle with lots of luxury and room.
I absolutely love. It is so spacious, especially on the middle sections. I have an 18 month old so it allows for plenty of room for car seat, diaper bag, stroller, etc. It is so comfortable and seems like luxury vehicle even though I bought the base model. Love how it sits high off ground. Convenient keyless entry and back hutch open and close entry.

Our family of 8 loves this car!
My Chevy traverse is perfect for our large family. The 3rd row backseat sits our older boys very comfortably when we are traveling as a family. I love the ability to attach my jus to my belt loop or purse and start it up with a push of a button. I rarely forget or lose my keys. Overall, it drives very nicely and I feel safe on the road. Safe enough that we have taught our 2 teenage drivers in it. I would definitely buy another traverse in the future and would recommend it.

Transmission trouble from day one
My car has been in the shop four times for Transmission trouble . In fact I had to utilize the Lemon Law To get them them to fix it. They were able to fix it but the problem has reoccurred stay away from this vehicle. This is a big Lemon. It’s sad because it is a beautiful SUV and elegant inside. So now What do I do I can no longer Lemon the car.

The 2019 Chevy traverse is amazing.
Not many problems. Right now at 25000 miles sometimes it tells me to shift to park when I turn the car off and I have a problem getting it to go off. Other than that I love everything about my car. It is very spacious. Has bucket middle seats. Has plenty of room even when all the seats are in use. The rear storage is great. Connects to my phone every time no problem and I love the backup camera and notifications.

This vehicle is so awesome! I love it so much! I am so glad we bought this vehicle. It is everything we were looking for and more. It rides so smooth, almost gliding along the road like, and tunes out the outside noise so well. The radio has so many options and the touch screen is pretty cool. The buttons on the steering wheel to change the station and the volume is a sweet safety feature. I do not have to look at the radio anymore, just keep my eyes on the road. It is the perfect level to get in and out of. I love the third row seating with the captains chairs in the middle. Makes it so much easier for the kids to get in and out of. The storage is amazing, with folding down the chairs and especially with the compartment under the floor in the back, that is a definite bonus. That saves so much space. I love the look of this vehicle inside and out. The new body style really caught my eye when it came out. It is so pretty. Switching to 4 wheel drive is so simple to do and convenient. Everything under the hood is in great shape and the tires are very nice as well. We plan on this vehicle to bring us a lot of memories in the future. It will be great for long drives and going camping. We do have the extra floor mats that I would definitely recommend to anyone. They have really protected the floor from everyone's shoes in the rain and snow. They're so easy to clean as well.

Amazing space, comfy seats, and comfy ride.
I call it the beast because it is awesome, it can go on trails with ease, its super comfy, plenty of space. We went on vacation this year and had 6 adults and 2 kids(one in a booster the other in a forward facing car seat) in this vehicle and were still comfy.

Chevy traverse: great 3rd row vehicle, frustrating tech features.
What I love is the interior; the seats, leather, space and comfort. The bucket seat option for the middle row is fantastic for our family. The gas mileage as well as the ride itself is so great. I didn't give it 5 stars because the digital features are frustrating in this vehicle compared to my past one. GPS is only enabled through a separate company (extra monthly fee), roadside assistance is not included, my internet in the car doesn't work unless you pay extra for a hot spot, and even with it, I could never keep the Sirius XM connection so I had to cancel. For a new car with amazing features, it is disappointing to not also benefit from more advanced technology.

It is affordable, had the latest technology, comfortable, and reliable.
I love my car. We selected the captain chairs for our second row and why a difference it made for my family. It also has all of the latest apps on our screen for easy access. We took our first trip (12 hours) in our car and it was amazing. Not only on gas, it was a smooth ride, comfortable seating, USB charging for all the seats so keeping the kids occupied was a plus.

Great family or solo vehicle!
Absolutely no problems. The drive is so smooth. Everything works perfectly and it is a very safe vehicle. There is optimal room even if you have all the seats up. There is a lot of room which I appreciate when we go camping so we can fit all of our gear in it. Overall an absolutely amazing car.

Great vehicle with lots of ups and only a few downs.
This vehicle is a very comfortable and reliable. Great gas economy on longer trips and expected on short trips in town. The v6 engine is very responsive and powerful. The only minor complaints I have is the backup lights are not bright enough to back up with the mirrors but work well if you use the backup camera. Also the auto stop feature on the engine does not have an option to turn it off and gets irritating in heavy traffic.

You don't need to insert the key it just needs to be inside car for you to drive
The car trunk only opens if the keys are nearby. You don't need to insert the key as long as it is inside the car you can drive. Its white with pretty soft black interior. It is much more comfortable to drive has three rows and has a big trunk. A perfect family car.

I have no complaints about my Chevy traverse. I have 3 boys all under 11 and all involved with sports. I can easily load up for the day and not have to worry about whether everything and everyone will be able to fit. Love the Chevy traverse! My favorite features are the backup camera, 360 camera for parking & being able to open the door/trunk with my keys still in my purse. The foot activated trunk opening takes a bit of getting used to but is also awesome. The trunk space is a little small with the 3rd row up but the seats are easy to put down.

Excellent features of the Chevy Traverse
I love all the options. It has plenty of space and it super comfortable. It's very fun to drive. My favorite options are the dual sunroofs, rear view mirror camera, 360 view for parking, safety features, and the Redline edition package. I would recommend this car to everyone. It gets great fuel mileage too!

Great 3 row SUV with lots of trunk room.
I needed a vehicle that was large enough for my entire family. I checked out many 3 row SUVs but they all lacked trunk/storage room in the back. The Chevy traverse had the largest amount of space in the trunk area and it fit exactly what we needed. If you need a large 3 row SUV, this is the one.

Overall a great vehicle but could use some improvements in technology access.
I have really enjoyed our vehicle. The gas mileage is much better than I had expected. There is plenty of room for shopping and road trips. The drive is very smooth, we enjoyed taking it on a recent road trip. I like the smart features but dislike that you have to have a subscription to OnStar in order to use some of them like the phone app and the GPS. You can use android auto for GPS but if you have spotty cell service it's not always reliable. I wish that you could access a built in GPS without paying for OnStar like I had in my Lincoln. But overall we really enjoy this car, would love it more if it allowed the features I suggested. I do feel very safe being in this vehicle and the backup camera and blind spot alerts are great safety features.

Traverse is a great reliable car!
Nice big interior. It rides nice and quietly. The traverse has plenty of room to put things in the trunk to transport, as the third row goes flat. I like that you can tow things and change it to towing option by the shift. Plenty of cup holders for all 7/8 people you have in the car depending on if you get the second row captain chairs or the bench.

2019 Chevy traverse lt AWD.
Our family really enjoys the additional space we got with the upgrade to the 2019 Chevy traverse. Size, space and power are just what we needed for a family vehicle. Since we needed AWD and were on a budget this was one of few that fit the bill. So far we haven't found any problems and are very happy with our purchase.

Chevrolet traverse: all terrain fun for a versatile family.
The comfort level of my vehicle is excellent. There are heated/cooled seats for driver and front passenger. Heated seats for back. It has lumbar support for the driver. There is also a front/back camera for parking. My model has captains seats which has been great for the two kids. On lake days and for camping we have more than enough room for two adults, two kids, two dogs and all our gear.

Add my car for year and a 1/2 I have had no issues with it whatsoever it rides very smooth and is good on gas. My grandchildren even say they like it. Just wish it came with built in DVD players. It also has the auto stop which I kind of wish I could turn it off and on when needed.

I have had no problems with my traverse. I love the space in it for my family. I like that you can easily put the back seats down so there is more space to store things in the trunk. I like the automatic start for the cold winter days. I like that it can be set up to Bluetooth, if I would need to use that while driving. I like the way it drives.

The Chevy traverse is the ultimate gas friendly family car.
Extremely comfortable and spacious. Excellent sound system. Having issues with the brakes squeaking through. There is ample trunk room and the ceiling feels higher than most others. The captain seat features are a plus. It has a great amount of power and acceleration capabilities. It rides smoothly around town!

The 2019 Chevy traverse is the perfect family vehicle!
I absolutely love the comfort of my 2019 Chevy traverse. The seats are relaxing. The back bucket seats provide convenience and extra comfort for backseat riders. The trunk space is excellent and can hold quite a bit. Third row (as well as the second) can fold down for extra space. The apple CarPlay feature is amazing! It provides the convenience of your phone directly on your car screen.

Chevy traverse great car for a big family.
We upgraded from a Honda CR-V to a Chevy traverse due to having a new baby. The decision was between the Honda pilot and the Chevy traverse. We decided to test drive both and the Chevy traverse drives so much smoother and has more power and acceleration which is very helpful because we constantly have a full car due to the kids and different sports equipment they are involved with. Even with all three rows being used there is still ample trunk space. The only negative is that it is on the more expensive side when it comes to gas which is understandable due to it being a bigger car.

I have had transmission problems, new transmission fluid was put in but still having problems. The next step is a new torque converter. Other than that it is fine. It is comfortable, seats 7. Lots of room. Has lots of power and get pretty good gas mileage.

Lots of room for a family.
I really like Chevy. Sharp looking car, but not a smooth ride. Not a fan of the motor turning off all the time when stopped. All the cup holders are square which makes it hard to put cups in for travel. I like the color choice. Very roomy on the inside.

The size of this vehicle is perfect for a family of 7. The traverse performs great in all weather types including rain and snow. We use this vehicle to haul the kids and their hockey equipment to games and practices. The traverse gets good gas mileage for its size. This is my second traverse I have had.

Great vehicle for a family of 5 tall people.
I love all of the extra features on my vehicle. The remote start makes it easy to warm up in cold months before going out and getting in. The size of the vehicle is just right. We are a family of tall people and it is very spacious for us. I do wish it had just a little more storage space in the back.

Super comfortable midsize SUV for families.
We love this car. Super comfortable, easy and smooth drive, and great features. I love that it has so many USB plugs for the kids in the back and a/c all around. Only issue we have had is that the emergency break sticks and says it needs serviced. Except every time it unsticks and we take it in, it won't do it for them. So we have had to just deal with it.

Very roomy and the price point was great! 3rd row seating is awesome. The rear view camera is great and the side imaging helps a lot for merging! Interior is really nice and functional. It also drive really smooth and is quiet. Some other great features are engine shut off at stop lights, heated seats and the in dash hidden compartment.

It is the perfect vehicle for a family of 5!
I am obsessed with my traverse! Runs so smooth and well. We drive it everywhere and never have issues. Comfortable seating and plenty of storage for trips with a family of 5! Only problem is the windows do not always seal I always have to check to make sure they're fully up.

Chevy traverse is reliable and comfortable. Perfect for families of 5 or more.
It rides very smoothly. It has leather seats, and the front seats are heated. Comfortable seats 7, though the bench seat in the back fits smaller people best. Bench seat stows to create a very spacious storage space which is good for groceries, sports gear and my two large dogs. There’s also a sunroof. It is been quite reliable and it drives well on the snow. It is slightly better on gas than my previous suburban was.

2019 traverse, everything I need.
I have had any problems with this vehicle. I just rolled over 10,000 miles last month and it has performed how I wanted it to. There is plenty of space for my family to sit comfortably, and plenty of cargo room for our trips. The seats fold flat if you need extra cargo room, which is nice.

Traverse for the family of 4.
No issues so far with this vehicle.. For my family of 4 plus dog, it is the perfect size for road trips! The apple car play is a little slow, but that is about all that I can complain about at this point. In the future, I would hope that CarPlay would be improved.

Best features of my traverse.
I love my traverse. This vehicle is roomy, good on gas, and very versatile. We can fold all the seats down to carry large items. The features help to ensure safety. There are back up alarms, side mirror warnings and you can set it to actually move your seat to alert you prior to a collision. I use the cameras to check my parking. The charging ports are so very appreciated. And to be able to carry my family and friends is great with its seven seats.

Good family vehicle, but fuel efficiency not so great in the city.
The traverse fuel efficiency is great on highways but not so good in the city. So far, we haven’t had any problems with the vehicle and I think it is pretty reliable. It is very comfortable. Having little kids that require car seats, captain chairs are great so passengers can access the third road. Third road has enough space for adults to seat comfortably. Cargo space is also good. Enough for my big double stroller. Overall it is a good family vehicle.

Poor Drivetrain
I like the entire car except for the Transmission and Accelerator Pedal. The transmission is jerky and the really frequent downshifts are the worst I've driven since back in the 1970's. Couple that with the fact the Chevy refuses to even have a serious look into the operation and I say proceed with caution for anyone considering the car.

I thought we had bought a car that I could use travel around the country to visit family. This car is comfortable, roomy and gets decent gas mileage but..... After only 5000 miles the transmission is shuddering so badly, it was kind of scary being 1000 miles from home in a car that was not working right. We took it to be looked at, no lights on so they don't know what wrong. It is something I have now found out is a problem with a lot of Chevy traverses.

Great family of 5 vehicle.
It has lot of space in the back seat with the two captain chairs. Plenty of room to stretch out your legs. Lots of room in the trunk with and without the third row seat down. Easy to move seats back and forth. Trunk has extra storage and I love the lift gate.

Love having USB ports in every row and on each side of the car.
The travers is a great family car. I love the bucket seats in the second row, keeps from having to climb over the seats or letting the seats down. The trunk space is a decent size. Compatible with your smartphones with a touchscreen display. Heat driver and passenger seats. Not great on gas though.

I love the fold down third row seating!
The car is very roomy with plenty of room for the family and cargo. The back seat is very roomy for the kids. The third row allows plenty of seating for friends that want to go with us! I have had no mechanical problems. I would buy this car again!

This is the best truck I have owned.
Love the performance. Love the versatility. Reliable SUV and do not need all the bells and whistles unless you want them, to make this car great. I keep up with oil changes tire and brake checks and have not yet run into a major issue with this truck.

The highlight is the rear air\heater and the third row seat.
My vehicle is very spacious. I love the third row so I can have more people ride with me. The trunk opens with ease and closes with the push of a button. It drives smoothly. I have not really gotten use to the auto shut off when I push the brake. That is my least favorite feature.

Best car I have ever driven!
The shift gets stuck sometimes when you are ready to get out of the car. Although, the smoothest car I have ever driven. It has so many new, modern features that I love, and make it so much easier/safer to drive. It has heated seats for the winter, which make the car feel like you are inside.

Auto stop was a surprise!
The fuel economy transmission/engine really threw me for a loop the first time it shut down at a stop light, wish the sales person would have warned me since it didn't do that during my test drive. I really like the vehicle, wish I had a few different options (remote start, power seats), but for the price I definitely cannot complain!

Has weather mats, we come from a very sporty family so the help a lot.
No back seat warmers but a lot of phone charger outlets. Very spacious and comfortable. Comes with weather mats. I recommend leasing it though. Back seat controllable air conditioning. Has onstar for emergencies and CarPlay for iOS and android. I would definitely recommend this car and I love it.

Traverse, why should I buy?
Good solid car, no problems. Very reliable and comfortable. Added bonus that it is good on gas. The cloth seats I wasn't sure about, but the comfort and look is great. I love my vehicle very much. Make sure you go with the sunroof option, that makes a big difference.

2019 Chevy traverse review and nit-picking.
There are no problems for me and it is extremely comfortable, especially on road trips. The handling of the car is extremely precise, I can make a u-turn onto a one lane road and it does not skip a beat. The only personal issue I have is that I cannot permanently turn off the auto start-stop.

Quick review of the 2019 transverse Chevy.
I do not have any problems with car, but if I was to be picky I would say that the speakers on the back are just for looks they actually don't play audio at all. But overall the car is amazing and it does not waste as a lot of gas. I like how it is a 3 three row seat car and how the seats in the back and lay down flat if needed to.

Love my new roomy Chevy Traverse!
I love my new Chevy traverse. I love the comfort, the captains chairs in the second row and I love the look of the exterior. I also love the apple car play, it's very convenient for texting and receiving calls. The automatic lift gate has me so spoiled! All of my trips are much more enjoyable because it's big enough for everyone to have their own space!

Large without feeling like it is.
I love my traverse. It has so much room but does not feel like a huge vehicle. I only have one son but plan to keep it for a long time when we will have multiple children and we already use the three rows all the time for my family members to be able to pile in one car! We have had zero performance or maintenance issues so far and love it.

Family traverse is a safe and convenient for our family of 5.
It is a really nice, spacious vehicle for my family. It does good on gas and is a wonderful travel car. The trunk space is good for everything and I enjoy that I can also put my seats down for bigger space. The features of the car are also a bonus. I haven't really had any issues with car so far.

Roomy and fast. I love the way the inside is layer out. Chevy is a great company, and I will buy another. The stereo and speakers are amazing and equitation is good. It could be better. I would like to have a better package, and even a suburban. One day though.

Stylish with plenty of room.
I love how roomie the traverse is. It has three rows. I enjoy the bucket seats in the middle row because it allows my four children in and out of the vehicle with ease. It is great on gas mileage. I love that it is also stylish. The seats fold down for more trunk space.

My likes and dislikes of the traverse.
This is a great car, I am just not a fan of the auto stop feature, which you can shut off by switching gear settings. Problem is you have to do that each time, it does not save. The car has lots of room and is comfy. Love the tech features, but I have had audio problems due to a faulty amplifier. Besides that it rides well and is pretty fuel efficient.

Captains seats and lots of space.
This is my favorite vehicle ever! It has so much room for a big family, and I highly recommend the captains seats. I wish I had a sunroof, but the room in the back when the third row is up is huge. There is a lot of foot room no matter what seat you have, and driving it is a very smooth drive!

Family friendly with plenty of room.
This car is large enough for a family. It has third row seating although the back row is a little cramped which is to be expected. There's two bucket seats in the middle with plenty of legroom. The back hatch has some under cargo room for storage. The car runs really well, we haven't had any problems.

Best vehicle I have had in my life.
Seats are very comfortable, warming seats, cooling seats, many small features that make it a dream to own & drive. Drives very smooth. Love the rear view mirror feature between normal & computer like view. Love the handless tailgate open feature. Would buy another one without question.

Traverse: roomy family vehicle.
The traverse provides a roomy interior for the whole family. Seats space is large enough for car seats in each seat. Also, seats move smoothly to allow passengers to sit in the 3rd row. The radio is great! Sound quality is top notch and satellite radio is available for a small fee. The car also comes equipped with Wi-Fi for those long road trips. The ac can be controlled from the front console or split between the front and back controls. The cargo space is larger than previous models with a built in cover to protect valuables.

This is one of the best automobiles I have owned. Great bang for the buck!
Coming from a true 4 x 4 to an AWD, was an adjustment, but I really like this vehicle. It has every bell and whistle you can imagine. The power of the v6 is amazing! I was really surprised at the performance. The only complaint I have is the auto engine on/off when stopping at red lights, etc. You have no way of turning the selection off so you are stuck releasing the brake pedal a little to make the engine cut back on.

2019 Chevy traverse rs: pearl.
I love my car. It has made lots of long trips to other states and back home. It takes me everywhere and I would not trade it for the world. I have not had any problems with it. The car is very reliable. I also love how comfortable my car is. It is my daily driver and I never get tired of driving it. I love how it has the 360 camera.

Comfort, reliable and safe!
I love how it drives/handles. It is very roomy and comfortable. The screen is very user friendly and I love the heat/air features and how customizable they are for driver and passenger. I have not had any issues with the vehicle - I keep up with the maintenance for it. The seats in back are easy to put up and down for kids getting in and out or for loading items or groceries.

My traverse is black on black on black.. Blackout and it looks awesome.
Love my traverse. The only thing that I don't like is the turning off of the car at every stop.. I guess it's the idling. I thought we would be able to turn it off but you can't. Other than that the car drives awesome. A lot of legroom for back seats. I do wish the under carry department in the back was a little deeper. Love that it has big tires.

The best vehicle I would recommend.
I have not hacks any vehicle problems. I bought it in 2019 because my family got bigger and didn't have enough room in my small car. If is the best and would recommend it to anyone. It does have an auto stop where it turns off at stop to save gas but still the best.
