Models also known as Trim Levels, are used to identify a vehicle's level of equipment or special features.
Roomy, reliable, economical for the size, quiet, value for the money and the type of vehicle, dependability, utility as it has a lot of room in back, V 6 power, ride is comfortable and quiet, front seat comfort, 3Rd row seating,
It is a great vehicle for the price, I have had no major issues with it and it's great in the winter weather driving, it seats 5 to 6 comfortably and plenty of storage in back. The 4 cyl engine is plenty to power it in any type of driving or passing.
It drives smoothly, It has a simple user-interface, and most importantly, I feel safe when driving it. It is reliable, only having had a few problems over the years. The car is also pleasing to the eyes.
The pros of my vehicle is it is Good in the snow Big enough for a family but not too big Good gas mileage Has some Getty up. It is a 2012 and still runs like a charm. Easy to clean, has good underfloor storage.
My Dodge Journey is the best car I have had. I have had this car for about 6 years. Wonderful car for commuting. It is an amazing family vehicle. The speakers in it are amazing. It very Spacious. It has 3 row seating. It has many compartments throughout the entire vehicle which I love since I have two kids.
This vehicle has optimal space both for people and cargo. It is easily maneuverable, reliable for long-term investment and works well on both rural and urban road conditions. It works well as a family, work, and personal vehicle.
Great suspension, I believe it is unique to these models. 3 Rows of seats, all of which fold down, including the front passenger seat. For such a large car great gas mileage. 6 Speaker audio system which includes XM Radio. Many a lot of options when it comes to things like seeing the air pressure it shows each tire individually. You can also switch on the option to see the speed your going digitally, I like that, & much more.
It is comfortable on long trips. Great storage and utilization. 3Rd row seat if needed and it is not cramped. Lots of ports to charge items - important to younger family members. Good gas mileage and has been very reliable and dependable.
3Rd row is small and only enough room for kids, 2nd row seating is not very comfortable, a lot of plastic, hard to see out of the back end, a lot of blocked vision out of back, corrosion protection as it is starting to rust, at times the transmission is jerky when putting it into gear.
None I have had no issues and it's all around one of best cars I have ever owned, dodge has stood behind it since I have had it, and my next car will be a dodge. The prices of this model have actually dropped since I bought mine too.
This is not necessarily an issue with the car specifically, but it does not have the features that were developed for newer cars, such as rear view cameras to help with backing up, parking, etc. I'd imagine those features make things easier. Overall, I cannot think of any cons for those who do not care about such features.
The cons of my vehicle is the grey color is hard to keep clean sometimes dust is easy to see in the black interior. Has some mileage on it so needs a oil change often. Back seats are hard to lift up sometimes to clean in between them.
This vehicle only has a few cons. It has came out with quite a few recalls. When one thing breaks down not only do you have to get it fixed but you have to pay to get that part reprogrammed by the dealership which is a pain. Other than that it does not have very many cons.
With the large size, no amount of maneuverability will work in a tight urban area. The gas tank, though large, quickly empties out and you have to be very mindful about how you drive so as to save gas.
Although the vehicle is great on gas mileage the con is when you accelerate, the 4 cylinders in the vehicle are really noisy, it gets there but noisy. Another thing they installed the hose to the front bent window washer fluid in an area that it causes the hose to become damaged by being bent & eventually breaking no matter how many times you change it. Lastly the visual backup camera is in the rear view mirror it is very small and hard to see clearly, you really cannot depend on it.
I am not sure except maybe the blind spot for the driver when looking left. It is also difficult when backing out to see anything coming. Otherwise I really have not found anything that I do not like or enjoy about my Journey.
The 2012 Dodge Journey has an average owner rating of 4.26 out of 5 which ranks it #18 of 22 other Midsize SUVs.
