Great features and reliability.
The car performs very well. I haven't had a problem since I started driving it. I use it almost everyday around my area and it runs smoothly. It is super comfortable and roomy. Everyone has enough leg space so even people know the back are comfortable. It has great, futuristic, features that are pleasing to the eye. I have been wanting a car that saves me money on gas, and this is the one.

Best of both worlds. Runs on electric and uses gas when you need it.
I love my Honda clarity PHEV. It is the best of both worlds. I get around mostly everywhere on pure electric and rarely use gas. But always have gas when I need or want it. No range anxiety or ever any fear of being stranded. So far no problems with the car.

Great car for local and distance travel.
No problems thus far as the car is fairly new. I have seen a possible reduction in battery life but overall, very quiet when on electric. It is very spacious although I have not tried it is hatchback capabilities. Its rearview camera is very clear and does not fog.

I like that you can plug it in and use electricity rather than gas.
It is very reliable. I like that it is better for the environment. I have not had any issues with it. I like it very much. There is a lot of trunk space. It heats up fast in the winter time. I like the seat warmers a lot, especially in the winter time.

40 miles on a single charge.
Goes almost 40 miles on a single charge. I love the versatility. I hardly ever use gasoline. It has all the new technology, lots of interior space, and looks much more expensive than it was. The color choices are cool, and there's lots of chrome. Looks very sharp.

Smooth ride - fun to drive
My husband and I purchased this car approx. 4 months ago and have really enjoyed it ever since. Pros: very smooth and quiet ride using electric; easier than expected to plug in on a daily basis; love driving past gas stations; great for daily commutes and in-city driving; sharp styling; handy trunk storage bin; front cup length changer; ample interior space; to name a few. Cons: arguing about who drives; small misses - lacking storage for coins and parking cards; manual seat positioning (Canada); tighter space in our garage; and a second vehicle that no one wants to drive anymore. The lower battery charge as the weather cooled off has been noticed but oddly enough, the car doesn't seem to use as much when driving in the cold... Yet. It's still not winter though. Since the electric driving range is longer than many others, it's still an asset for most of our driving trips. We weren't sure about having to install a quick charger but there's no reason at this point to justify the add'l cost. One last point. We purchased the forest pearl (green) model. If you're looking online it is UGLY and I would not even have considered it. However, in person, it's rather nice and looks quite different depending on the light. Sometimes it's a navy blue/green, even dark grey and sometimes black. Other times it looks just like the online pics but it only lasts a minute. ;-)

Honda’s are the best car choice.
This car is definitely a good choice for a beginner car. I am very happy with Honda and have had Honda in my family for years. Honda’s are reliable vehicles that last for a very long time. Their vehicles have sleek designs and lots of customization options if the buyer chooses to customize their vehicle more. The ride is always smooth and I rarely run into problems with Honda’s. Overall this car is very great and I am thoroughly pleased with Honda’s quality.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Christopher A.

This car is very quiet, partly because it is a plug-in hybrid that is capable of running purely on battery power. It is also very sporty, with the ability go zero to 60 impressively. Finally, the ability to run purely on battery power makes it very green.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Christopher A.

The gas tank hold only 7 gallons, an although it gets a formidable 300 mile range from those 7 gallons, a larger tank would be more convenient for longer trips. Also, there's no rear windshield wiper, and no lumbar support adjustments.
