Very small engine, very slow but great gas mileage. It's a cheap economy car. Not a lexus
Nice and small with great gas mileage, fits into many areas of the city and is comfortable and easy to drive
accountCircle Alex H
All around great car for city dwellers or nature lovers.
Very reliable, great mileage and incredible cargo space for how small the car is. Easy to park in a big city where parking spots are limited. Tires are small so they wear down quickly. Have had the car for 6 years and it only recently started showing signs of aging. Very little maintenance required over the years.

Comfortable and spacey car.
The Honda fit year 2015 is very comfortable. The Honda fit year 2015 is a very cute car as well. As a prospective incoming freshman in college, the Honda fit year 2015 provides room that I need to move in to my new housing. It allowed me to move all of my items to my new living area. This is because the seats conveniently fold down to provide a ton of space for numerous things.

Keep tires properly inflated, use cruise control, you will get good gas mileage.
I like the fact it has a standard transmission. Six speed. It is fuel efficient and has only needed oil changes. The salesman at the dealership was a grave disappointment as he tried his hardest to talk me into a automatic.

When you really do not want an SUV but you want room for supplies and equipment.
I like my Honda Fit due to the flexibility and room that it has. It is semi sporty as well.

I love my Honda Fit and love how sporty it is but also functional.
I really like the performance of my Honda Fit, namely the Eco gas saving option. I mostly keep this feature on and I do feel that it helps reduce gas use. I also really enjoy the digital screen display of my car, and the ability to change songs from my steering wheel.
accountCircle Debbie C
It is safe, roomy and good alternative to a minivan.
Great gas mileage, good stereo system, easy to park with backup camera. Only complaint is that it is a little loud on the road.

Wouldn’t buy another
Probably an okay car if you buy the maintenance package. Bought it brand new. So far, dash warning lights looked like pinball machine - all randomly flashing; now just 2 lights randomly light; the speedometer/fuel gauge randomly doesn’t work; the door locks click incessantly; the doors randomly lock themselves at night; something randomly clicks continuously when car is off - step on the brake and it quits - drains the battery so you go to leave and the battery is dead; new is a loud weird sound like the air ducts moving when you go to start it; the brakes pulsate badly when you go to stop; the a/c has quit 2 times; the drivers seat has come apart at the seam; the headlight regular beams are useless - they only light about 10 feet out when going downhill - I drive with high beams on about 90% of the time; and the window pillar is right in your field of view to the point you actually have to lean left and right to see around it in a curve. It’s only redeeming qualities are it gets good gas mileage (even though econo-mode quit working) and it holds a lot.

Fuel system
I would not buy this car again, blind spot when making left turn, less than 50 thousand miles just had a mechanic bill of 1700.00. A problem a lot of the 2015 have after researching. Fuel system goes out. Yes the car gets great gas mileage. You buy a Honda because you figure it will be a good car for a long time. Not this one. I have owned other Hondas but I don't think I'll be buying another one.

Dashboard popped out of place on its own, supposedly a common issue with 2015 Honda Fit
My girlfriend hought her 2015 Honda fit just a year ago. She just noticed it has a huge gap now on driverside corner. She bought it in Green Bay Wisconsin at Van Honda 2821 S Oneida. The service guy said it was caused by weather, nothing to worry about? We seen these messages & we wished we never bought the Honda now. This is ridiculous, she never had anything done to dashboard. It came out of place on its own. This should be a recall & replaced for free!!

Overall review of Honda fit.
Too expensive and not really worth it. Also the car design on the inside is a bit too inconvenient. The front panels and the back design was simplistic and clean although. Anyways the car engine was a great choice and it also was very reliable and fast to start up.

Not reluabke if not driven frequently
No. Unless you drive this car a fair distance every day the battery will die. This is the most unreliable car I have ever owned. When it does start, it drives like a dream and handles beautifully though.
accountCircle Lindsey G
The back seats lying flat make for a great space for camping or road trips.
Great car for the size. Great on gas. Back seats lay down flat so great for camping or road trips with animals. Backup camera and Bluetooth are awesome features. Large back window very easy to see out of. Fun to drive. Just not very fast to get to desired speed.

There is no leg room in the driver's seat and passenger seat.
It is a compact purple 4 cylinder. There is no leg room in the front but plenty in the back. It is a hatchback and has a sunroof that I rarely use. It has great gas mileage. I like that it has heated seats but it gets very hot in the summer and takes a long time to cool down.

Happy Honda family. Worth every dollar!
I really like how versatile my vehicle is. My car is compact and has lots of room. It seats 4 people comfortably and can fit up to 5 people. My car being a hatchback can load lots of things. I used my car to move and loaded up small pieces of furniture comfortably. The gas mileage is great! Thank goodness no problems with the engine. We are a family of Honda owners and very happy!

Great, reliable vehicle for drivers.
The Honda fit is surprisingly spacious for a hatchback of its size. The vehicle has many sight lines and making it comfortable for new/less experienced drivers. It also has a very generous turn radius and back up camera that is helpful with parking. The original battery had to be replaced after about only 2 years of use which is not ideal.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Al A.

I would highly recommend this car. It is perfect for everyday use and commenting to and from work. It is small, compact yet very spacious and comfortable. The rear view and side mirror cameras are a plus. Overall a great running car and very satisfied customer. Have had little to zero issues with the mechanics of the car, just basic oil changes, tire replacements and windshield wiper replacements since I got it in 2015.

Small but big inside! Surprisingly can fit a whole lot when the chairs are down! Can fit anywhere! Love the side camera! I originally got it because I haul a lot of pets for a rescue and I needed a hatchback type of car. It is perfect for any size pet just need to adjust the seats. Now having a family it perfect for our little one. It is also great for hauling and great for drive in movie nights.

likeFilled Sam M.

Commuter friendly. Great gas mileage. Packs a pretty good load despite its small and compact size. Eco friendly - luxury model so heated seats, sunroof, Bluetooth speaker, lots of additional add ons if you want them. I believe also 5 star crash rating.

likeFilled Pamela C.

I chose this car due to Honda's reputation. However, there have been too many things gone wrong in the 5 years I have had this car. From the hydraulics on the hatch door, the starter crapping out to the key light on the dashboard. Therefore it will probably be the only Honda that I ever own.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Al A.

This is personal and might be very specific to my family and lifestyle, but the car is not 4 wheel drive/off road capable. Perfect for the city! We do a lot of outdoor and off road camping, climbing and hiking, etc so having a compatible vehicle is needed That is why our second car is a Subaru.

dislikeFilled Janelle M.

My vehicle somehow always had a problem with the tire pressure. Always seems to need maintenance and cost can add up. Wish the dashboard had more features like maps. There is not much cons about the Honda Fit in my opinion.

dislikeFilled Sam M.

I love our car - I do not consider any cons to this vehicle. Perhaps the seats they're not that comfortable but it is also a compact car I do not expect to have Captain seats in such a small vehicle that is about it for cons.

dislikeFilled Pamela C.

Only all of the repairs that have been necessary that are not routine maintenance. Routine oils changes are necessary. Brake pad replacements are necessary. Rotors are necessary. Within five years a new starter to the tune of $800 should not be necessary nor should the key light on the dashboard be lit!
