It is adorable. It goes 'beep beep' and is the only orange thing on the road.
We had a 2012 Honda fit that died in a car crash after someone ran a red light and hit us, then we got a 2019 Honda fit and it the only thing that changed was the color, intentionally, and the lack of coffee cup holder on the passenger side. I still miss that coffee cup holder. Other than that, it is wonderful.

Seats easily convert for storage or comfort. Very roomy in the inside.
So roomy inside and basic model offers so many features. Love the gas mileage, Bluetooth stereo, and driver’s side cup holder. This is my first hatchback and I may never go back! Cannot wait to take my fit on the road and make use of the magic seats, too. Highly recommended for small or compact car needs - perfect for commuters, too.

AMAZING GAS MILEAGE!!!!!!
I love the storage and great gas mileage that I have in my Honda Fit 2019. I only fill up my tank twice a month on average and I never spend for than $20 to fill the tank fully.

Exceptional vehicle in every respect!
Very spacious interior (both passenger and cargo areas), great engine performance and handling, beautiful styling...an exceptional value!

Great vehicle. Great miles per gallon. Great storage.
So far so good. I enjoy the safety features in Honda sense, such as adaptive cruise control, lane assistance, passenger camera, etc. Has lots of storage with the flexible seating. Also, like the eco mode which has great miles per gallon and the paddles to add rpm.
accountCircle Maria H
It is a perfect car. I do not need a big vehicle for everyday use.
I love the small car. The mileage is very economical, and it is easy to drive, maneuver in the small space and park anywhere. Surprisingly the cargo space is very spacious. It is a perfect car for every day ride for my household. It is very reliable. Honda never let us down with their service. I love the apple car play too. Now I would never touch the phone while I drive. I feel safe in the car and somehow feel better to drive the gasoline car because the mileage is much better than other models.

A perfect Honda compact car.
From the moment I sat in the driver's seat this car spoke to me. The sleek look, smooth driving and neat feature of alarming a passenger to buckle their seat belt while the car is still in drive was eye catching. I have been driving this car for almost a year and I absolutely love it. As a compact car it fits in every stall and even though it is small the inside feels very spacious.
accountCircle Timothy A
The fit sleek and fun to drive.
The fit handles the road in a satisfactory manner especially in the winter. It gets 28 miles per gallon and is suitable for everyday suburban driving. It is affordable and has a good resale value. I traded my 2017 fit for a 2019 model because a received a good trade in and a new three year warranty. The fit is easy to maintain and fun and to drive.

Should have though longer before purchasing vehicle.
There are no problems with the vehicle. It's just too small so it does not fit a lot inside. If only everyone would have thought about it longer before purchasing the vehicle. It would have been better to get a civic instead. This vehicle is nice to take to work but to take our for long drives is not recommended in my opinion.

Car doesn't hold a charge
I had a 2009 Fit and loved it. Never a problem. So I was excited to get the 2019 model. What a pain this car is; and all due to one problem. If you don't drive it every 3-4 days the battery dies! At first I could not believe that Honda would do such a thing but from others I guess they don't care. I have had 4 batteries replaced. In the middle of a pandemic when Senior Citizens were warned to stay home, driving around was not my priority! It has been very annoying to deal with this issue. When I asked the service manager how I could go on a week's vacation and leave the car in the garage he told me to buy a triclkle charger. If the car cant't keep a charge Honda needs to include a charger with the car. Not happy with service or attitude!

Phone can't connect
I have a new Honda Fit and cannot connect my IPhone to Bluetooth or Carplay. I took it to my dealer and they said that it is a Honda software problem. They had no idea as to when or if this will be corrected. Good basic car but don't expect much more.

Love the car when it runs
Love the looks, safety features, nice ride for a small car, great economy and roomy for a medium build person. Front seats don't move back far enough for someone over 5'8" tall. I'm retired and use my car 2-3 times a week, longest of these being 1/2 hour of city driving. After 2500 km's my battery went completely dead. Got a boost and put a charger on to charge the battery. After a few weeks, took the car into the dealership, a half hour drive on a day when a/c was not required and radio off. Diagnostics showed battery and charging system working fine but the battery was not fully charged and required charging. Their advice to me was to drive the car more or put a battery monitor in it. My last 2014 Honda Fit Sport didn't require a new battery until after 4 years. Advice, drive more or battery monitor. Trouble is, in the block where I live, no live plugs in the summer and in winter does not turn on until temp falls below -20 deg. C. Driving more is out of the question since I bought the car for economy. Others in the parking lot are also retired and don't use their cars any more than I do and no problem starting or battery issues. My opinion, too small of a battery and/or alternator for all the electronic features in this car (and things going on in the background) as Honda puts it. No satisfaction from Honda as yet. Won't buy another Honda. I buy a new car for dependability. This car - not dependable. Never had this trouble with Toyota.

Disappointed in our selection.
Just not as comfortable as we thought it would be and not happy with highway performance with just a little wind. Unfortunately we are leasing this car so we have another year and a half on the lease. We previously had a CR-V which we definitely will lease again.

What kind of Issues does it have
The Honda Fit is a very cute car good on gas but I had a issue with it a lot 0f hesitation. THEY say that the gas is what what cause this issue how could it when l put the best n my car.they never did fix the problem.they really don't no why it still hesitation.lm not happy my car is a 2019 should not have this problem

Like driving an egg, rolling from side to side!
It is like driving an egg, especially on open roads, country driving and especially in high wind conditions. It actually feels like you are being buffeted by the wind! And if you have the sensor on and are rounding a long curve, the brake sensor light beep will come on! Apparently the sensor thinks there is a car approaching head on!
accountCircle El D
Disappointed not what we thought.
Just not what we thought it would be, does not do well with even a little bit of wind! Cannot wait til lease is up! We still love Honda’s though so our next car will be a Honda. We had a CR-V previously but thought we might go down a little but this just did not work for us.

The Honda fit: a great car for city and country.
Haven't really had any problems but would love if it had a Sirius radio package built in. I always have to use my phone and Bluetooth. As far as comfort, it's a very comfortable car to drive and gas mileage is great. It is also a very roomy car for its size. Plenty of legroom and cargo room. The hatchback adds lots of room for groceries and packages.

Great gas mileage, very easy to drive.
I love my little fit, because it is the perfect 'fit' for me. It gets great gas mileage, it is easy to park and handles great. It is a hatchback, so I have plenty of cargo space. It is comfortable and has a great music system. I couldn't ask for a better, more economical car.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Matt M.

It has a back-up camera and monitor and it has good steering and a lot of light displays to show how well the car is doing. The transmission is good and it is easier to get into the car than my old Toyota Corolla.

likeFilled Paula G.

The Honda Fit is a great car for almost everybody. If you need a car to commute, run errands, and go on adventures with, its features are all you need. It is subcompact but has a ton of storage space (the magic seat is a lifesaver) and the gas mileage is really helpful for long drives and for the environment.

likeFilled Genny D.

This is car is very reliable. It is a fast car. It is a compact car, but yet very sturdy. It is easy to park. It has many security features. I especially like the cameras, and the sensors that indicate when you aren't leaving the lane or you are at risk of crashing.

likeFilled Lauren S.

A lot of Space, the gas mileage is awesome only takes 20$ to fill up, reliability, backup camera, cool cup holder on the top left, has a hatchback, seats fold down completely flat, has eco mode which gives you the best gas mileage.

likeFilled Mary W.

It fits in my small garage, which was top criteria. And it has extensive cargo space for dogs and camping trips. I live alone so it has all the space I need. It was within my price range, was rated as having a reasonable cost to own.

likeFilled Quinn A.

The fit has lots of interior room and is fun to drive. The hatchback allows tons of space to move furniture in the back with the seats laid down. It gets great gas mileage. It has cheap looking hubcaps which are my least favorite thing on my car.

likeFilled Matt M.

I like the dashboard and the interior of the car. The car is small, but I can load a lot of stuff in it. I like how well it performs. The car runs smooth with few issues. I have had the car for a few years and it feels new.

likeFilled Barbara L.

I like the gas mileage. It is easy to get around in, and has plenty of room because it is a hatchback. The seats fold up for tall items. It has rearview camera, so backing up is easier. That is all the positive I can think of.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Matt M.

The car has pricey gas changes, the wiper spray broke. The front window has a strange triangle than blocks my front left- and right-cornered blind spots. The car is white so the dirt shows more than other cars.

dislikeFilled Paula G.

Even with an upgraded trim, this car does not have all the bells and whistles that someone might be used to; there are not heated seats, for example, which could be considered a standard feature in more luxury cars. Also, the Honda Fit is a small car, which means it may not feel as sturdy or safe in more difficult terrains or when compared to larger car options.

dislikeFilled Genny D.

So far I have not noticed any cons, but according to the statistics it is one of the cars where people are more at risk of dying if suffering an accident. I also would have like it has the camera on the left side as well.

dislikeFilled Lauren S.

There is nothing I can say that would be bad about this car. It is the best car I have ever owned and will probably be the only one I ever buy from here on out. I love everything there is to do with my car.

dislikeFilled Mary W.

It has black interior which is a horrible option for showing dirt and pet hair. I wish there were an option for lighter colored, non fuzzy interior fabric such as I had in my 2005 VW beetle. I got blue exterior which is ok, but would have preferred yellow which was not available.

dislikeFilled Quinn A.

The ugly, cheap hubcaps are my least favorite thing about my car. They cheapen the overall look of the vehicle. Not really a con, but the ac gets so cold it can be uncomfortable. There should be settings in between 1, 2, 3 and 4 so that you can customize the temperature better.

dislikeFilled Matt M.

The car has an awkward blind spot at the drivers left and right front side. When I roll the windows down, there's a seat belt from the ceiling that makes a lot of noise. Other than that, the car is great.

dislikeFilled Barbara L.

The gas mileage goes down fast, after only one year, I am getting 5 miles less per gallon than when I started. The cup holders are a joke. They are not convenient, and are not large enough to hold a large yeti. Part of the problem is the placement. The interior material is not of a high quality, and it does not come with floor mats or cargo mat.
