It is a good sports car but it is not the best 4 season and it is mainly a car that is used in the summer as it not a four wheeler. And in rain it does tend to like slip a lot and it is difficult to find car parts for it. And if you do find parts they tend to be more expensive mainly for a car that is more than 10 years old and has a lot of miles on it. But overall it is a well sturdy car and could be a good car for a teen.
The Mitsubishi lancer has great gas mileage, and is inexpensive to fill the gas tank. It even gets great city mileage. The glory doors make the Mitsubishi lancer great for driving around family. For only having 4 cylinders the car can really get up and go.
It did break down one time. And when I looked for car parts it was difficult to find, also took me a couple months to find that piece and the used transmission cost almost $1,000-$2,000 and it did have high mileage. The car is not the best winter car.
My biggest problem with the 2006 Mitsubishi lancer is going uphill at high speeds, the vehicle definity legs when trying to accelerate uphill. Also when trying to slow quickly from the highway to an off ramp the Mitsubishi lancer can become shaky.
The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer has an average owner rating of 4.23 out of 5 which ranks it #10 of 22 other Small Cars.
Does the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer have a timing belt or chain?
