Heated seats, nice ac unit, gets me where I need to be.
I love my Volkswagen Jetta, I got it for school transportation needs. It gets me where I need to be. Diverse selection of strong engines, stellar fuel economy in tdi trim, upscale look and feel, comfortable seats, impressive cargo capacity, pleasant ride. The first six months of me owning this car, I noticed the back windshield wiper does not always want to work. Overall I would say this is a good vehicle.

The best hot hatch to date!
Well to start off I bought my 2010 Volkswagen gti for $10,000. This car has been the best purchase I could've made. I was looking for a vehicle that would handle driving to and from college weekly. I needed a gas saver, a reliable, and affordable college car. Since owning the car, there has been absolutely no problems. The interior is so nice in my gti. The red combo they did in the mk6 is some of the best I have seen. Personally, if you are looking for a gti I would get a manual instead of dsg. Although the dsg is probably better on fuel, manuals go for a cheaper price. Manuals also make the car so much more fun to drive. This car is also super easy to modify. The options are endless. Overall, the gti is a great option for many reasons.

Volkswagen gti: still going strong after over a decade.
My Volkswagen is from 2010 and running like a champ! I've driven it from Texas to California and I sue to commute 44 miles a day for nearly two years and with over 115,000 miles, it is still going strong! Maintenance and repairs can be a little costly but it is a higher quality vehicle, so it is to be expected. Love everything about it: the leather seats, the way it sounds when I start it and the low bassy sound when I drive it.

Sporty Hatchback with nice options and reasonable gas mileage.
The only problem I have had so far was the clutch went out and had to be replaced before 100 thousand miles. I like that it is manual transmission has Bluetooth, heated seats, and a sunroof. I also like the exhaust sound and turbocharger. This is my second GTI.

The best little car ever!!
Very responsive and fun car. However, if you are six feet tall, do not expect to have a passenger behind you in the back seat unless you are a little fido. If you ever need any repair, the parts do not come cheap compared to other brands that I had. Thankfully, didn't happen too much. Relatively easy for do it yourself maintenance and upgrade as long as you have VW specialty tools. Great with fold down back seat. I can get 15 bags of mulch from home depot with a passenger. No sweat. Love the acceleration, gas efficiency, you can get 27 miles per gallon on city driving, and 34 miles per gallon with highway. Not too shabby! The buckets seat are comfy in the front. Love my ride!!

I love the heated seats that I have.
I bought my car used, so there were some issues right off the bat that I did not notice. My passenger side window will not go down with the button on my drivers side. After having the car for 5 years, my headliner is now falling down as well. The bumper has spidering pretty badly from rocks and other things hitting it while I am driving. I love the heated seats.

Easy Powerful Economical Driving
It has been a pretty reliable car. It is easy to drive and good on gas. I love the power of it. It accelerates very quickly and it's easy to change lanes and get out of people's way.

Quick, fun car to drive and great everyday vehicle.
Great little car. Very few problems since I got the car in 2011. Paint is dark gray and has held up well, with a coat of wax each year. Engine runs great and coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, is fun to drive. Excellent acceleration. Gets about 24 miles per gallon around town and 33 on the road using premium grade gasoline. Interior is plaid cloth and still looks as good as the day I bought the car. Has plenty of "hauling" capability, especially when the rear seats are folded down.

Smoothly fun car for any age.
No problem thus far. The car is agile and very smooth drive. Interior is classy. Maintenance is a bit expensive and injectors were the only one big problem in 100k miles. Overall I like this car very much and had it for a long time. I recommend this car as long as you have less than 3 kids.

Cute and sporty while still safe and reliable.
I had to have rear engine seal replaced shortly after buying which is a negative, but I bought it used, so who knows. It is very comfortable and cute, love the heated plaid seats, drives well around town and on the highway, I do wish it had better gas mileage.

I absolutely love my VW GTI. I love how versatile it is. I can fold the rear seats down and have 47 cubic feet of cargo space for whatever I need to haul. I love the sporty feel while driving it and there's a huge aftermarket scene for it as well.
It's not like any other GTI on the road. It makes big power and will compete with V8's on the road and track.

Amazing car with heated seats!
Seats are super comfortable. Love having the heated seats. Sound system is amazing. Can control the volume of your music right from your steering wheel. Has a sport mode, so you can use the paddle shifters instead of having an automatic shift. Headlights are very bright also. I have trouble seeing in the dark while driving, and the headlights make it so easy for me to see.

VW GTI review pros and cons
I love the leather seats and it drives very well. The suspension is very tight so you feel every number in the road. It has over 100,000 miles on it and still no mechanical problems. The only issue I do have is the headliner is peeling off. The humidity I guess ruins the glue. It also cannot take normal gas which can be expensive.

2010 Volkswagen golf gti mkvi 6 speed manual.
I have only had one problem so far and it was an easy fix. I kept having a low oil pressure light come on every time I hit a bump I checked my oil pressure sensor it was leaking oil I replaced it and problem gone. I love the handling in it for being a fairly inexpensive car it performs well.

I'm running 20lbs of boost and couldn't be happier
Do you spend extra on premium gas and synthetic oil? Yes. Does every single part on that VW cost 20x more than any American car? Yes. Is the insurance a little bit higher just because it's German? Yes. But all of that will pay itself off the first time you downshift and put that pedal to the floor. It pays in smiles per gallon. The handling is all you could dream of and more. Any person of any age can and would enjoy the vehicle.

Gti is a great car when it works.
Nagging electrical issues, water pump failure, timing chain tensioner recall. The overall driving experience is great, however this generation of car has many baggy issues. Many of the issues listed above have associated manufacturer lead recalls, however determining eligibility for the recalls is problematic.
