2013 Volkswagen gti overview.
The 2013 Volkswagen gtt is a sporty, solid vehicle. Standard six speed, two door hatchback is fun to drive. The plaid covered bucket seats are comfortable and the basic stereo has great sound output. A slight drawback is the manual seat adjustment. There is a wheel on the lower side of the front seats that must be turned to adjust the seat. It is time consuming and inconvenient.

It is fun to drive, the Volkswagen gti.
Electronic issues are abundant. Have had to replace the side mirror adjustment knob along with the window switches. The moon roof opens on its own regularly. The moon roof opens on its own regularly. The moon roof opens on its own regularly the moon roof opens on its own regularly.

Gti amazing vehicle to own.
I have been having my vehicle for over a year and I absolutely love it. I love that these cars can still be manuals and the way that the body looks already it looks like a sports car. The drive feeling in it is amazing and for it looking small it has some good space so that everyone can fit. The back up camera is amazing on this car since it hides in the emblem from the back and the alloy wheels just give it a slick look to the car. There are also so many aftermarket things you can buy for this car to make it more to your liking or to make it a faster car.

An affordable little car.
My vehicle is very reliable. Good performance and very few maintenance required. It is good for a single person due to size. Not a family car. It is very comfortable to ride in and have all the necessary features. A good affordable car! I highly recommend this car to anyone.

Safe and reliable that I trust in all weather conditions.
My Volkswagen has been safe and reliable. I got it 6 year ago. It drives well and the snow which is important in the winter weather by me. I love the speed and smooth drive. I did have to replace the turbo which was an expensive investment. I would buy another in the future.

GTIs are the cheapest "luxury" sports car around. German engineering at its finest and fastest for the money.
My GTI is sporty, fast, and cool. It handles like a dream and is classy. I also know that VW makes the safest cars around.

Reliable & Tons of Fun
I’ve had mine for 6+ years. Only just hit 37k miles. I’ve had ZERO issues! I put quite a bit of money into the car in modifications, but even stock, it’s a GREAT car! Fast, responsive, fun, efficient, well built, high quality materials, no degradation, and a beautiful car! Seventh and favorite VW. Couldn’t be happier with it...

Do not judge this beast by Its size!
I love the design of the car, it is simple and not flashy but has details that make it really look great when you are paying attention like the red segments and the grill pattern. I like the ability to connect your phone to the speakers via Bluetooth, I like the seats in the car, they feel nice and have a modern take on a classic flannel pattern used in older VW cars, with a nice trim on the edges. The car is very fast and efficient, and it is sometimes hard to no want to speed on an empty freeway late at night, to be honest. My favorite times with this car have always been getting on the freeway, because for about 5 seconds, I can speed like there’s no tomorrow and feel the speed it can build up. It is great for everyday things and trips, which is great, and we're even able to put racks on the top of this thing, fitting up to 3 paddle boards and a fully loaded rocket box on top. It is incredible. This car is great.

Beautiful turbo engine and lovable hugging leather bucket seats.
The VW gti is a great car as long as you stay on top of the maintenance! Like any other vehicle, you should always make sure that you keep the service up to date. My entire family loves VWs, always have, they are great vehicles if you are a car junkie like me.

Perfect city car for speed lovers.
The car is very nice and reliable. It is a small and light car which allows you to perform any fast actions when driving in the city. It might now be suitable for long drives or road trips because it is low seated the suspension is quite tough especially you can feel it in rear seats.

Why I love my gti! Let’s bring her off road!
I love this car! It handles beautifully and is very responsive! The sport mode and the paddles shifters are way too much fun! I haven’t had a single problem with it yet! I am going to turn it into an off road vehicle, due to me living on a dirt road in the country.

2013 Volkswagen golf gti review.
After 90,000 miles, I have run into multiple issues that have proven expensive to fix. I have a 6 speed manual and it is a joy to drive, decently quick but still pretty daily drivable. Car looks clean in my opinion and I overall have a good time driving it.

The gti: fast, cute, plaid, and small!
My vehicle is amazing. I love it so much and it drives super fast. It has had a few problems which are super annoying. The oil also needs to be refilled more often than usual, as well as the coolant. Other than that I love it. The checkered seats are super cute, and the stereo is very good. The bass is really nice.

Volkswagen gti navy blue.
Suspension. Going to add a new exhaust pipe and all new tires for snow etc. Just inspected and insured, took apart suspension and put new springs into it. New paint job and brand new sound system with apple CarPlay. Aux included with new air conditioning system.

Very fun car for car enthusiasts.
Love the performance of the car, it is reliable and very good for work and home commute. It is gas mileage is ok, you will get about 20-22 miles per gallon. Only part I do not like about it is car is noisy inside and tach used it not very good as well.

Driving a manual: just learning.
I recently just started driving it. I love it because it is new to me and I just learned how to drive a stick. The turbo messes up a bit but other than that it is reliable. The clutch went out before but that is before I started driving it. I actually enjoy this vehicle.

This car is both practical and fun.
I am very happy with the performance and it is pretty comfortable. I do not like having a lot of features in cars but the features in this car are pretty helpful like the hill braking assist. I haven't had any problems with reliability yet. One thing I am not a fan of is the soundaktor but it does not really make the car any worse.

Great value and high quality!
My gti has been extremely reliable. I have plans purchased new pirelli tires & an interstate battery as well as an air filter. The vehicle has excellent handling and acceleration is very impressive. The vehicle drives and rides much bigger than it appears. I would strongly suggest to the potential buyer a test drives. The vehicle performs well it is tight and very solid as well as quick and nimble.

Volkswagen golf Gti quality and performance.
The VW Gtl is a very well built car with high performance engine and performance transmission. The car is highly reliable, has incredible handling and road feel for the driver and visibility is exceptional. Cost of maintenance is higher than similar models but the performance and ride make it worth it.

Reasons I love my fun little gti.
The seat are very comfortable. It is a really fun car to drive. I love how the steering wheel feels. Lots of safety features. Really like the racing pedals. The spouse wants to purchase a second one. The one thing is it is not the smoothest ride... But what fast fun car is.

2 door car is considered a sports car.
Complaints = it is expensive to maintain. I love the easy handling, it drives it self. It has a turbo, as such it goes very fast.
accountCircle Jason R on January 2, 2020
Performance was my goal for my gti.
I haven't had any reliability issues with the car. If you leave it stock and keep up with maintaining the vehicle it will run for a very long time. Volkswagen claims 10k miles between oil changes, however I drive a little harder and I definitely recommend you change your oil every 5k miles. But they are a blast especially if you build them up.
accountCircle Michelle R on December 26, 2019
It has great gas mileage and has ecoboost.
I love that it comes in the color I love on cars. I also enjoy that it has heated seats and plaited seats. I like that I can switch it to sports mode and drive a bit faster. I dislike that it is a basic model so moving seats, radio, and steering wheel are outdated.
accountCircle William C on December 19, 2019
This is one of the funniest and most practical cars I have owned in one package
I love the car and it's performance. Fit and finish is great and comfortable and practical. I don't like the carbon buildup issues that I have already had to deal with. But overall I enjoy the car immensely. The one I bought was certified pre owned But it is still a very affordable car

Volkswagen has great cars but if you have a problem they are expensive to repair.
I love Volkswagen. I have had my car for two years now and have had minimal problems. The car does burn oil, so before the 5, 000 mile oil change I do check it. Otherwise it gets good gas mileage, can be used as a road trip car, and is great for hauling kids and groceries!

Fun car to drive - great experience so far (at about 65,000 miles).
This car is fun to drive. It has strong acceleration, good speed, and excellent control. Keep in mind that this car is very low to the ground - you will feel the road under you extremely well, including bumps and grooves. I personally like having that feel, but I could see how others wouldn't. The tire is a bit stiff, but that is also to personal preference (I like it - turns feel 'secure'). I am 5'8" and I fit very comfortably in the car. The car has been reliable so far, and I am at about 65,000 miles in.

Gti- great car, fast, sporty
It is a great car, sporty, fast, comfortable. No maintenance problems. Comfortable interior. Very fast and handles well

Great performance in a fun to drive car.
Gti is a comfortable, sporty drive. Base model is no frills but performance is excellent. Six speed manual transmission provides the get up and go that is expected of this vehicle, however it becomes tiresome during city driving. The gti is a solid vehicle and no real mechanical issues as of 61k miles.
accountCircle Aaron C on September 13, 2019
It's fun to drive. I can get up to about 30 mpg highway but let's be honest you're not getting that driving it to have fun!
I like the sporty ride and it's somewhat efficient. Only complaints would be comfort as it rides quite hard.
accountCircle Sky M on August 13, 2019
The 2013 gti is a great towns car with a lot of pull.
There is a little bit of a rattle when driving over 40 mph. That is my only issue. The steering is very tight and the car is very nimble. It can take corners very well and all together feels very lightweight as if it was a go kart. The car has been very reliable and I am at 82,000 miles so far.
accountCircle Steven C on May 22, 2019
The most interesting detail about my car is the stock studded led headlights.
The Volkswagen gti is the best car I have ever owned. It is fun to drive, very good looking, and has never let me down. You can tell by the interior that the car is made from quality parts and leather. I enjoy every second with the car and will most likely always own a Volkswagen.

Best bang for the buck! Gas mileage/performance ratio is perfect.
The interior design is premium compared to other cars in the mid $20k price-range. Good old German engineering- they really make it look nice. Six speed manual is smooth as silk. Tried manual in new Camaro and WRX, both were terrible in comparison. Holds corners like glue, especially with a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Performance is perfect for me, very zippy, turbocharger replaced but costs nothing under warranty, no real issues. Love this car

It is a great quality build and lots of fun to drive
Great car that can rally move quickly. Traction and grip is gray with turns. Space in the back is great for the dogs.

My 2013 2 door Hatchback GTI that gets the job done
The car runs smooth. The exterior paint has held up well. It is low to the ground, so when streets flood it is not ideal. It has not given me much trouble but the repairs become very expensive with it being a foreign car. The interior seats are leather and very comfortable. They have held up well considering I have a dog. I have the outdoor protective coverings on my floors and the back hatch. These have came in handy due to camping often.

The perfect car to parallel park!
This car is the perfect size for the city. It is small and easy to park so I am able to get into all sorts of sports! The sunroof is a huge bonus as I often drive with the sunroof back and the windows down. The car is very comfortable, we have the two door so it is not easy to get in and out of the back but once you are in the back it is very spacious.
accountCircle Christina H on February 4, 2019
It looks good and gets great gas mileage.
I like the smoothness of acceleration and the general look of the car. I also like the car's compact size and how well It's gas mileage is. I dislike how low to the ground it is and how small the tires are.
accountCircle Brett V on November 10, 2018
A lightweight, quick, and fuel efficient car that is more fun than a go cart.
So far no mechanical issues at 96000 miles, incredible torque and performance for being so lightweight with the turbocharged engine, my trim has all the bells and whistles you could ever imagine, even carbon fiber on the interior, love this car. If there was one thing I could change it would be to add a backup camera because that is the one feature the car does not have.

Vroom vroom in comfort and style
My car is surprisingly roomy and drives like a go-kart. My prior two vehicles were an SUV and a minivan, and I can honestly say that this car is more comfortable than both.
