Black and chic. Black rims diamond plates.
I love my car everything about it. The interior is so sophisticated and the outside is so hard body. Does not take much for you to hit 100 mph. I love taking it on the highway. The engine sounds so beautiful but quiet. I give my car a 10++ because Chevy really did take the time to take off on making blazers to come up with this one it is like a mini rover.

I completely recommend this vehicle!
Absolutely amazing! The most reliable car I have purchased. Drives so smoothly, quiet and very roomy! I recommend this vehicle for mommy’s! I have 5 kids & god bless my soul trying to get the kids in & out so easily! The kids have so much space and are not all spaced in.

This car is definitely worth the money.
When this car came out I absolutely fell in love with it and I knew I need it. I spontaneously went to the real shop one day knowing exactly which one I wanted and knew I wasn't leaving without it. I have had it for almost a year now and I love even more than I thought I did just seeing it in pictures. It drives beautifully, the inside is amazing, I have had zero problems with it, and it is all around just very comfortable to be in.

The car is reliable and does not break downs.
The vehicle has great reliability because it has not let me down. Drives wonderfully, smooth drive. I have put very little money into my car into repairs. I have very nice features such as heated seat for those cold mornings.. The tires are reliable on the vehicle also. I recommend the car.

Such an upgrade from my 2008 vehicle!
Love how quiet and smooth the ride is. The electronic display is intuitive and very helpful. Sound system is awesome. Exterior is white so car stays cool in Southern California summer days. Plus I love starting it remotely, so even if it has been outside for hours it will be cool when I get inside.

Love my Chevrolet blazer!
I enjoy driving my Chevy blazer. It is not too high off the ground, making it easy to get in and out, but high enough to be at a comfortable driving level. It is very spacious and comfortable. There’s plenty of storage. Great safety features, such as the back up camera and blind spot indicators.

Sporty, reliable, comfortable.
We took it from Texas to Pennsylvania for Christmas and we had no issues at all. The car was very reliable and handled all types of terrains. The car is very roomy and has a great eye appeal to it. We would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is interested in buying a new vehicle.

Chevy blazer is great with one exception.
Great car. Gets good gas mileage for an SUV. The only downside is that the factory tires are not great. Little tread and not high performance. It would be better if the tires it came with helper handle the car better in the rain especially. The trunk space is great and radio is clear.

My 2019 blazer rs has been in the shop 5 times in the last two months. The car keeps shuddering at 1500rpm. It is exceptionally annoying to drive. I will never buy a chevy again.

I would consider my car the camaro's of SUVs.
I love the aggressive style of the '19 blazer, there's a ton of space for me and my dogs. It is great at hauling a ton of items. My only issue is that it is not great on gas and I have been having issues with the air pressure monitoring. The park assist is very sensitive which activates the brakes at random when driving.

This vehicle bus reliable and at the top of power safety list for 2019. This car holds great resale value also. It has full functions and leather seats. If you do regular maintenance it will surpass even the greatest taken care of vehicle. Go buy this brand of you need to be satisfied buy a make or model.

Loved it
Loved it the first 4 months. Then it got to where the adaptive cruise control will shut off for no reason. I've taken it back like 7+ times, they've replaced the camera, did software updates. Still happens. It is days between times. Going back to dealership this week. Anyone else having issues?

It is red and it is lifted. It has nice fog lights on it.
I love it I just wish it came with all the upgrades and I didn't have to buy it all separately. Like the sunroof I would like to have but didn't come with the truck that I bought. Has anyone else had an issue when backing up hearing a thumping noise in the steering? The dealer has had mine for a total of 3 months now and can't figure it out. Love the vehicle, when its not in the dealership for repairs.

What Do Critics Say About the Chevy Blazer?

  • Consumer Reports says the 2019 Chevy Blazer is a modern SUV which focuses on convenience features rather than ruggedness, with good owner satisfaction scores.
  • Edmunds rates the Blazer at 3.9/5, enjoying the strong available V6 engine, but doesn’t like the limited cargo space compared to other SUVs.
  • Kelley Blue Book users give the Blazer a 4.3/5, praising the standard advanced technology features, but owners don’t like the poor off-road performance.

What Common Problems Does the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer Have?

Common problems found on the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer include the A/C system not working, slow gear changes, along with rattling panels throughout the cabin. Overall, these problems are similar to other SUVs on the market, leading to average repair costs as the Blazer ages.

The A/C system not working is the most widespread complaint from 2019 Blazer owners, showing up within the first 10,000 miles. Usually, the problem is caused by a damaged fan, which reduces air flow through the system. Most dealerships will replace the fan under warranty on a vehicle this new, but out of warranty it costs around $850 to swap out.

Slow gear changes are another problem mentioned by some Blazer owners within the first 1,000 miles. The problem is usually caused by issues with the transmission control module. Most dealerships will update the transmission control module software for free during normal servicing, although some charge around $80 for the labor.

Rattling panels throughout the cabin is another small issue which shows up on some Blazer models early on at around 500 miles. Usually, the problem is just caused by panels that have loose screws or clips depending on the panel. If you can find the rattling panel simply try pressing the full way around the edge and through the center to press the clips back into place.

There are two recalls on the 2019 Chevy Blazer, which is better than some other SUVs from the same year. The most serious recall is for missing bolts on the stop/start accumulator. Chevy will install the missing bolts for free on affected models. The other recall is for the tires which may lose air, Chevy will also replace those for free.

How Long Will the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer Last?

A well-maintained 2019 Chevy Blazer can last around 200,000 miles, which is shorter than some other small SUVs like the Toyota RAV4. Regular annual maintenance costs are similar to many other compact SUVs on the market, according to data provided by Repair Pal, at $431 per year.

As a used 2019 Chevrolet Blazer reaches 100,000 miles, and depending on the vehicle history owners should be prepared to replace the seat heater switch for $125, turbocharger oil line costing $250, along with the struts which cost $725.

accountCircle Brad L

So far so good, no problems. 240 miles and still loving it. Plenty of power. Only thing I miss is a cargo net.

How Is the Technology?

Entertainment technology is great for a compact SUV, offering a standard 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Optional upgrades include a more powerful stereo system.

Standard safety technology is basic compared to other small SUVs, only offering a rearview camera and rear seat reminder.

Optional driver assistance features include:

  • Forward collision warning
  • Pedestrian detection
  • Lane departure warning
  • Rear camera mirror
  • Safety alert seat
  • Rear cross traffic alert
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Lane keep assist
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Automatic high-beam headlights
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Surround-view parking camera system

Is the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer a Good Value?

Yes, the 2019 Chevy Blazer is a good value since it offers decent practicality ratings paired with a lot of nice features for the money. The blue book fair purchase price ranges from $24,350 to $36,800, making it more than a Ford Escape or Hyundai Tucson. When new, the price range was $28,800 to $45,600. Depreciation is better than other SUVs, losing around 5% of its current value per year.

How Comfortable Is the Chevy Blazer?

The 2019 Chevy Blazer has been designed with driver and passenger comfort in mind. Its interior features a modern design, accentuated by soft-touch materials and available leather-appointed seats that provide both support and cushioning for longer rides. Drivers will appreciate the ergonomic layout of the dashboard and controls, which are positioned for intuitive use.

The Blazer also offers an impressive amount of legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, giving more passenger space than some competitors. Climate control options and available heated and ventilated front seats further enhance ride quality. Moreover, with its refined suspension system, the Blazer provides a smooth drive, adeptly absorbing most road imperfections. The quiet cabin, complemented by an active noise-cancellation system, ensures that external disturbances are kept to a minimum. Overall, the 2019 Chevy Blazer provides a comfortable and pleasant driving experience, making it suitable for both city commutes and longer road trips.

How Much Storage Space Does the Chevy Blazer Have?

The 2019 Chevy Blazer offers a versatile amount of storage space tailored to meet a variety of needs. When it comes to cargo space, the Blazer provides up to 30.5 cubic feet behind the second row. This is ample room for daily necessities like groceries, luggage, sports equipment, or a stroller.

If more space is needed, folding down the rear seats expands this area to a generous 64.2 cubic feet, which is enough for larger items such as bicycles or flat-pack furniture. In addition to rear cargo space, the Blazer features various interior storage spots, including door pockets, a sizable glove box, cup holders, and a center console bin. These compartments make sure that smaller items like phones, wallets, and snacks remain organized and within easy reach while driving. The combination of these spaces makes the Blazer both practical and accommodating for a range of transportation needs.

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The third generation of the Chevrolet Blazer was introduced for the 2019 model year, after being out of production since 2005.

2019: All new midsize SUV with seating for up to five passengers, aggressive styling, and two engine choices.

2020: New turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder, engine stop-start can be disabled, trailer hitch guidance added to towing package.

2021: More standard driver assistance features such as automatic emergency braking.

2022: Base four-cylinder engine discontinued, L and 1LT models removed from the lineup.

2023: Minor exterior styling changes, standard 10-inch touchscreen on all models, more expensive starting price.

How Does the Chevy Blazer Compare to the Competition?

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is a very nice compact SUV, offering the features that shoppers are looking for with some more unique exterior styling than a lot of the competition.

The Toyota Highlander is a larger SUV which can be found for about $3,500 more. Passenger room is better in the Toyota Highlander, while the Chevy Blazer fits better in large cities where parking is at a premium. We recommend the Toyota Highlander since it’s one of the longest-lasting SUVs on the market.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is another competitor, which is available for about $2,000 more. Off-road performance is better in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, while the Chevy Blazer has better entry-level entertainment technology. We recommend the Chevy Blazer since you get many of the same features for less money, although both are worth test driving to see what you prefer.

The new Chevy blazer is extremely comfortable. I love the mpg for an SUV. It is pure luxury at an affordable price. The ride suspension is super smooth and the safety features are very comforting. The technology on it, is insane. I just recently filled the air pressure on the tires and with the sensors it has it honked at me so I wouldn't go over the 36 psi. I was very surprised! My model which is the premier has the hd surround vision and holly geez! It is a game changer. My back up mirror is a camera part of the surround features and it gives me access to view most of the lanes in the highway. It definitely took some time to get used to, but it has been outstanding and there's no way I could go without it now.

Love my blazer! Will look at getting another when lease is up.
I love my blazer!! The seats are very comfortable, great pick up, lots of interior room. Trunk lift is easy with push button on keys or door and a button on the trunk to just close it. Drives very smooth. Even the 4cyl has enough pick up to get you up and going.

Sporty aggressive design.
My blazer has not had any problems. It has a sporty look and sporty performance with its optional sport mode. The ride is very nice and it's very quiet no road noise the fit and finish is quite good and I would recommend this vehicle to anybody. From its heated leather seats to its all wheel drive it's ready for the upcoming Minnesota winter.

Auto stop on 2019 Chevy blazer.
The 2019 model does not have a way to turn off the auto shut off mode. This is frustrating because the vehicle turns off in the middle of trying to park and in stop and go traffic. When the vehicle starts again it is not a gentle movement but rough and kind of jerks.

Temp control perfection for a cold body.
I love my Chevy blazer. It's the most comfortable SUV I have ever driven. Apple carplay has changed my life. The push button start took a little getting used to but now I do not know if I could drive a car that does not have it. Lastly I love that I can control just my side of the temp in the car. I like to be cold and I know others do not.

Love my black and white blazer.
I love this vehicle. The seats are comfortable and adjustable. The safety features are very helpful when parking, changing lanes, and backing up. The black rims and trim on the car looks sleek. The Bluetooth feature in the car along with the steering wheel controls makes it easy to avoid using the phone.

The blazer of the century.
It's a very good vehicle it handles great and has great response and I love the stereo, love the motor and it looks great with the blackout kit and it has great space and it's great to go on camping trips in. But in conclusion it's a great vehicle for a family.

2019 blazer - one of a kind!!
What’s not to love??!! It is perfect!! Drives great and has tinted windows and a Bose stereo. Best car I have ever owned!! Leather seats extremely comfortable. Huge glass sunroof that practically covers the whole roof. The new design is very sporty. Looks similar to the BMW and Lexus SUV.

Chevy blazer is great with one exception.
Great car. Gets good gas mileage for an SUV. The only downside is that the factory tires are not great. Little tread and not high performance. It would be better if the tires it came with helper handle the car better in the rain especially. The trunk space is great and radio is clear.

Chevrolet blazer 2019 specification: bold styling that features a strong grille.
The 2019 blazer is setting the standard for what an SUV should be. With bold, sophisticated styling inside and out. It is the SUV you'll want to be seen in. Stylish utility vehicle. Attitude on arrival. Bold styling that features a strong grille and muscular proportions. Driver-centric interior and distinctive looks on all models. Model range includes sporty rs and up-level premier models. Five-passenger seating with up to 64.2 cubic feet (1,818 l) of max cargo space with second-row seats folded flat.

It is red and it is lifted. It has nice fog lights on it.
I love it I just wish it came with all the upgrades and I didn't have to buy it all separately. Like the sunroof I would like to have but didn't come with the truck that I bought. I love the color of it is red. I just wish you came with the upgrades like the sun or better cupholders and heated seats and leather seats.

The negatives of my positive experience.
I have, overall, really enjoyed my vehicle. There are some oddities with the GPS/radio/etc. Interface, such as an extremely long delay for the radio to get you signed in and start playing. Secondly, I have what I believe to be some sort of defect when starting, but only when it has sat idle for an extended period of time. It has been a struggle to make it happen when a technician is present.
