Models also known as Trim Levels, are used to identify a vehicle's level of equipment or special features.
The Caliber is very efficient on gas. I also like that there is a power outlet so if I do not have the correct phone charger, I still have options on charging my device. For my family size, the vehicle is the perfect size.
Good size, handles nice, comfortable. Lots of cargo space in back, privacy cover for cargo space, roomy for me and I am 5'2' tall. Taller people might not feel as comfortable in the car. I love the moonroof.
Drives smooth. Few problems with engine. Only minor problems with fuses and other electronic issues (wheel sensors connected to abs) resolved easily. Has 4 wheel drive, heated seats, wheel sensors for tire pressure, great air conditioning, middle average gas mileage, and a roomy Inside cabin.
The dodge caliber is a safe hatchback vehicle. Its has great handing and a low acceleration, making it the perfect vehicle for young drivers. However, it not the best for taller riders, especially if you're tall from the waist down. Barely any leg room.
The main con I have with my vehicle is that I am tall and the vehicle sits really low. Also. If I do not screw on my gas cap tight enough it triggers the airbag notification (?) I also do not like that the vehicle is no longer being manufactured so if something happens to my car, I will basically have to upgrade.
Gas mileage, very bad blind spots, airbag sensor issue, window seal was leaking - standing water in backseat footwell. Transmission issues that keep recurring AFTER the warranty expired. Hard to sync phone to.
Has some electronic issues and parts on the steering wheel wear out fast (windshield fluid switch), some issues with fuses blowing out, and issues with wheel sensors related to abs steering. The car also has a hard time adjusting speeding and speeding up fast, but this is probably related to the cylinders.
There is barely any leg room for the driver. And it has a slow acceleration, so if you're looking for a car that's fast this is not the best choice. The fuel economy is not the best either. As long as you stay below 55 miles per hours it is good.
The 2010 Dodge Caliber has an average owner rating of 3.89 out of 5 which ranks it #24 of 27 other Compact SUVs.
