Large back you can lay down in it for camping.
I love my car has a lot of room. It driver real smooth. The back can haul a lot of stuff. The driver's seat pumps up so your sitting up taller. Plenty of sleeping room if your a camper. Just put the seats down and you have a bed. My car is a great traveling car.

2010 Dodge calibers are amazing cars.
The only real issue I have had with this car are the wheel bearings. This car is great on gas mileage. I can put $25 in the tank at the beginning of the week and I do not have to stop again 'til about the end of the week. It rides smoothly and the breaks are amazing. I love "drive-by-wire" cars. Other than the bearings, this car is great and has not costed me an arm and a leg on repairs.

Dependable transportation that won't let you down. Affordable and in great condition.
Even though it is an used vehicle it is in good condition. I love the sound system but wish it was Wi-Fi access. No complaints at.

Review of my 2010 dodge caliber.
I love my caliber! Very easy and smooth driving. Nice sunroof. Great bass! Seats are fully customizable and have many different settings for short to tall people. Fits my three teens in backseat. A little more expensive to get oil change as it takes synthetic oil. Looks great in any color. Perfect family car or every day running around.

I love our Dodge it is dependable good on gas.The car handles well. I think my only issue would be I wish it had more places to store your phone and other items in the car.
I think the most important thing is that the Dodge is a very dependable car.

Reliable and perfect for whatever you need.
I have had my caliber for 7 years and I love it. It is reliable and spacious and comfortable. I'll keep it forever. I have only had to do maintenance and repairs on regular things that wear out over time. My gas mileage is good. I never have had mechanical issues with it.
accountCircle Dawn M
It has a screen that pops up on my radio which also has Bluetooth for my iPhone
I have not had any problems with this vehicle, except the throttle pedal sensor, I have taken care of it, changes the oil as it was supposed to be changed, rotated my tires, and balanced them as well. Plenty of room, back seats fold down to haul extra things, room for 5 people very spacious

Great transportation, smooth ride, very dependable
Love this car, very reliable, the only thing i've ever had to do with this car is regular wear and tear. But when i bought it from west herr the next day it needed a engine harness and 2 days later after it came out from the shop a transmission, but it's been great since. But now it needs a new power steering line and return line. But i love that it even has a house plug in it, so i can literally plug anything in it

Not a fan of the 2010 dodge caliber.
Rear seats fold flat- very spacious. Not a lot of positives, car is falling apart, they no longer make the car. Sunroof leaks, car has mold issue. Cruise control not intuitive. No Bluetooth, no navigation not fuel efficient steering is numb. Not an SUV, not a crossover, not a sedan 'power wagon'. Not good looking.

Dodge Caliber heat. Horrible car.
Car is slow, not enough engine power. Car buckles a lot and overheats a lot. I have had extensive repairs done on this vehicle and it still doesn't feel smooth while driving. This car uses oil, gas, antifreeze way to quickly and there is always problems with the tires.
accountCircle John H
The car itself drives very well, later along the line problems may arise through.
Has a lot of mechanical issues. Car runs fine, with a tranny issue, a window that doesn't roll up and has heat issues. Also the driver window stopped working, but was fixed. There is a weird sound that comes from underneath the steering wheel everytime I enter the car.

Calibers are comfy but easily damaging.
The cars comfort level is outstanding, but the performance overall is not the best. I feel very safe in the car but the recall on the seatbelts is very daunting. Tires for this car are nearly impossible to find and have poor performance, I think when I purchased the vehicle it already had issues from the previous owner.

Not safe because of blind spots
Do not like anything but the color black it is. The vehicle is nothing but blind spots. I originally had an issue with water leaking into it when New. The service I received was terrible from the dealer I purchased the vehicle from and I have hated it ever since. Will never buy Dodge again.

There is nothing special about this car.
Transmission shot in 3 month owning it. Heat and ac went out at 110000 miles and now the motor is about to blow up at 120000 miles. The shifting knob is very loose. It almost seems as if the car does not want to shift at times. I would not recommend this car for anyone. I would have rather got one from a junkyard and rebuilt it.

Does not do well in the snow or mountains and it is difficult to fix any of the lights
Like the trunk space, hate everything else from the gas mileage to the way it runs and the lack of features in the vehicle

Inside is clean. Upholstery is nice.
I just don't like it. But it was cheap when I was looking for a car. So we bought it and we had to put a transmission in it already then it wouldn't start and had to put another part in it. There's a crack in my windshield needs new one. Needs new tires.

Good gas mileage and space.
This car is perfect for me as a single driver, who has a short drive to school and work. Tank size is good, fuel efficiency is slightly above standard, this car seats five but still feels spacious. I appreciate how much trunk space there is. Any complaints I could have come from the fact that this car is used, mainly the fact that every once in a while the tires will get really squeaky, but that goes away by the next time I drive.

It is a hatchback, but has a nice amount of storage in the back.
Its comfy, big enough for me and my 3 kids and it's cute. The factory radio and speakers are great and it's good on gas. My only complaint is that my alternator went out and I've had a really hard time finding someone to fix it for cheap because the location makes it hard to get to therefore harder to fix.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Chanel R.

The Caliber is very efficient on gas. I also like that there is a power outlet so if I do not have the correct phone charger, I still have options on charging my device. For my family size, the vehicle is the perfect size.

likeFilled Roxanne G.

Good size, handles nice, comfortable. Lots of cargo space in back, privacy cover for cargo space, roomy for me and I am 5'2' tall. Taller people might not feel as comfortable in the car. I love the moonroof.

likeFilled Jessica M.

Drives smooth. Few problems with engine. Only minor problems with fuses and other electronic issues (wheel sensors connected to abs) resolved easily. Has 4 wheel drive, heated seats, wheel sensors for tire pressure, great air conditioning, middle average gas mileage, and a roomy Inside cabin.

likeFilled Gordon U.

The dodge caliber is a safe hatchback vehicle. Its has great handing and a low acceleration, making it the perfect vehicle for young drivers. However, it not the best for taller riders, especially if you're tall from the waist down. Barely any leg room.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Chanel R.

The main con I have with my vehicle is that I am tall and the vehicle sits really low. Also. If I do not screw on my gas cap tight enough it triggers the airbag notification (?) I also do not like that the vehicle is no longer being manufactured so if something happens to my car, I will basically have to upgrade.

dislikeFilled Roxanne G.

Gas mileage, very bad blind spots, airbag sensor issue, window seal was leaking - standing water in backseat footwell. Transmission issues that keep recurring AFTER the warranty expired. Hard to sync phone to.

dislikeFilled Jessica M.

Has some electronic issues and parts on the steering wheel wear out fast (windshield fluid switch), some issues with fuses blowing out, and issues with wheel sensors related to abs steering. The car also has a hard time adjusting speeding and speeding up fast, but this is probably related to the cylinders.

dislikeFilled Gordon U.

There is barely any leg room for the driver. And it has a slow acceleration, so if you're looking for a car that's fast this is not the best choice. The fuel economy is not the best either. As long as you stay below 55 miles per hours it is good.

I think it's an ok vehicle. There have been several things that have gone wrong with it. But, all in all it has been a somewhat reliable vehicle
Christina C.

Somewhat. I have had to replace several things on the vehicle and it also seems that the transmission is going out and there's only 150,000 miles on the car
Dana R.

Is The 2010 Dodge Caliber A Good Value?

I don't think it's a good value for the money. Maybe if the prior owner took better care of the vehicle
