This car is perfect for me as a single driver, who has a short drive to school and work. Tank size is good, fuel efficiency is slightly above standard, this car seats five but still feels spacious. I appreciate how much trunk space there is. Any complaints I could have come from the fact that this car is used, mainly the fact that every once in a while the tires will get really squeaky, but that goes away by the next time I drive.

It is a hatchback, but has a nice amount of storage in the back.
Its comfy, big enough for me and my 3 kids and it's cute. The factory radio and speakers are great and it's good on gas. My only complaint is that my alternator went out and I've had a really hard time finding someone to fix it for cheap because the location makes it hard to get to therefore harder to fix.

Large back you can lay down in it for camping.
I love my car has a lot of room. It driver real smooth. The back can haul a lot of stuff. The driver's seat pumps up so your sitting up taller. Plenty of sleeping room if your a camper. Just put the seats down and you have a bed. My car is a great traveling car.

There is nothing special about this car.
Transmission shot in 3 month owning it. Heat and ac went out at 110000 miles and now the motor is about to blow up at 120000 miles. The shifting knob is very loose. It almost seems as if the car does not want to shift at times. I would not recommend this car for anyone. I would have rather got one from a junkyard and rebuilt it.

Caliber specs great on gas great on space in and out.
It's a good ride but doesn't have that push but because it's a 4 cylinder car. It's great on gas and also great on space, it doesn't have a trunk so you don't have to get off and open it to get your stuff. You can get your stuff inside the car. It's a great size for a student or mother of one or two.

The light for the dashboard can be adjusted.
The trunk is a little small, I have twins and the stroller does not fit in the back. Therefore we had to buy a small stroller. I would have loved it if it was more spacious! Another thing is that one time I went to work and when I got out I turned on the car, and I couldn’t accelerate. It went on “limp mode” so I had to drive the car at about 3 mph home. Luckily I didn't get stopped by the police.

It's got a wall plug in the center console. It's pretty cool and convenient.
It's a decent size, but it was originally in Ohio so its very rusted underneath. It's been very reliable and safe for my 5 year old son and I. The only thing is recommended for change with it, would be to make the metal something they wouldn't rust so horrible.

I bought my car brand new, it is one of the best cars I have owned. It is not to big or small. I did have a problem with the sunroof leaking, there is a drain there I did not know that and it was clogged and leaked water in the car. Once it was cleaned out it was ok.

Fuel low always but quick.
I love my dodge caliber. It's a hatchback and pretty fast. The sound system is amazing. However the gas mileage is not all that good. The a/c went out pretty soon in this car. It's likes to jerk and it's got to do with the fuel line other than that the car is amazing.

A little about my mom car the Dodge Caliber 2010.
The car was overpriced when I got it but that's my fault for not looking around. It's pretty cheap everywhere else and it's a dependable car. I like the space that it has inside the car. It has good space in the back for shopping and storage. Good car for a small family. You won't be spending much to replace parts yearly the cost of maintenance is $511. Cheap parts for replacement as well. Major repairs is uncommon for this vehicle. I haven't had any major problems with this car and I've owned it for more than a yr. It's very durable in snow. I had got into a ditch full of snow with it and nothing happened to it. Everything still works fine. It's not often that I have to go to the shop to fix something. It's a reliable car for a small family in the city. The average gas mileage is about 27 mile per gallon.

I bought my 2010 dodge caliber in 2014 because of its style, roomy interior and great exterior design. It is a dodge so it rides really well, feel very safe in it, great on gas mileage. It ran a little rough only because the tires that came with the car we're not a good brand, I replaced them much quieter ride. Feel very safe in my car.

The car itself drives very well, later along the line problems may arise through.
Has a lot of mechanical issues. Car runs fine, with a tranny issue, a window that doesn't roll up and has heat issues. Also the driver window stopped working, but was fixed. There is a weird sound that comes from underneath the steering wheel everytime I enter the car.

Hatchback and fold down seats.
The vehicle drives very well even though it has a 2.0 liter engine. Maintenance has not been to much of a concern. Just the standard oil changes. Smooth drive and hatchback is good for travel. I'd recommend this vehicle to those looking for a small family car for groceries and runs to school etc.

I haven't really had problems except her breaks and air conditioner needed replacing but not the cars fault, it was whoever the previous owner was. This car is perfect for a 4 or 5 family, but it only holds air vents in the front of the car which causes it a little longer for the people in back to get the air in the summertime. The trunk area of the car is actually big for the size the car looks on the outside.

A fun economical car to drive.
I am fortunate I have not really had any problems. My son owns his own mechanical shop and keeps it in tip-top running shape. It is a nice size vehicle with a hatchback which I love. I love to do lots of yard sales and going to resale stores and can get a lot of stuff in the back of my dodge. It is silver gray which does not show when it needs a bath. I get good gas mileage in town and on the highway. It has plenty ump to go over mountains. Steers easily and I can park in tight spaces. The only problem I can say I have is I am short and I cannot see the front of my car when I am driving so that makes it difficult and not pulling forward and bumping another car.

My dodge caliber only needs shocks and a oil change. If you keep maintenance up on your car everything should be good to go. The car is very spacious, great for packing groceries and snacks if you have any children or a child. Very comfortable and dependable it only takes 20-25$ to fill the car up. Comes with spare and jack in case of emergencies. Cup holder’s are in the front and back with dashboard lighting to help you see the buttons or cup holders at night.

With regular maintenance, there has been minor problems that needed to be fixed. The front k-arm had to be replaced due to a recall and it losing its structural integrity. Tie rod ends are also something I have had to replace multiple times. It rides comfortably.

2010 Dodge Caliber SE. Great car, drives smooth, ample space and very safe!
I enjoy driving my Caliber. It feels like a compact car but has the room of a mid to full size. When you fold down the back seats, you could fit a twin size mattress in there, maybe even a full! Honestly, I haven't had any issues with it. Drives smoothly, accelerates well, responsive handling. Biggest problem has been the tires, it's best to get snow tires cause chains are incredibly difficult to get on. Other than that, it's a great car. I feel very safe driving my Caliber!

I bought my vehicle used and was originally happy with it. I then went on to realize that the car I had purchased was quickly falling apart even with regular care. I am an avid camper and roadtripper and this car does not handle well on long hauls. I especially had problems when reaching any higher elevation than what I usually drive in the Midwest.

The gas mileage is great! The car has a lot of neat features including the flashlight which is part of the back light, very handy if your stranded somewhere. I also love the feature which allows me to connect my phone via Bluetooth for safer driving habits. The hatchback has come in handy many times over the years, especially since the back seat folds all the way down, the trunk ends up being very spacious. It is overall been a very reliable car. In the 8 years I have had it I only had 2 major issues which needed fixed, the front lower control arm went out after 5 or so years and 3 years later I had to replace the front and back frame. With that being said, the mechanic said my car is good for several more years now. It is definitely a car you can count on for years.

Great car with very few and minor problems!
I bought my car from family a year ago and so far it is been great! Only have had to get a tire fixed and the oil changed since I got it (which is maintenance). So far it is been a good and reliable car! The only downfalls is that there is a weird knocking sound sometimes when it idles and the ac/heat knob only works on the highest two settings. Would recommend this car to others.

My favorite part of the car is the refrigerated compartment.

Its a Harley Davidson series paint job so it is a very attractive car. It has tinted windows. It handles well at high speed. This car is very roomy and the seats fold down. This car also has a trailer hitch so we can tow a trailer. It also has a refrigerated compartment.

The car is comfortable for a family of four and still has the storage capacity for two large suitcases. The car runs smoothly, but at times will stall at the traffic light until the engine is fully heated. The car has never had any serious engine issues, and has been serviced regularly.

The cars comfort level is outstanding, but the performance overall is not the best. I feel very safe in the car but the recall on the seatbelts is very daunting. Tires for this car are nearly impossible to find and have poor performance, I think when I purchased the vehicle it already had issues from the previous owner.

The sound system in the car is great!
Super easy to do a tune up. Tires will not cost that much to get replaced when trying to buy them brand new. The only problem I had was the alternator belt. Once that was fixed car ran super smooth. Very spacious vehicle. Ideal vehicle if you have pets or children. Air conditioning works great in that car.

I have owned my dodge caliber for several years. I have put 316000 miles on it and the engine still runs great. The throttle went out on it last year, but when you drive as much as it is to be expected. I replaced the throttle and it works as good as ever.

There's better options than a dodge caliber. Tread with caution.
Its alternator needs to be replaced at least once a year since I purchased it in 2012. Long drives cause issues, often resulting in the car breaking down. Not reliable but good for short distances. Also pretty noisy. It'll get the job done but these cars are serious safety hazards if my case isn't isolated.

This vehicle is reliable, but I can tell that it will have future electrical problems/ glitches. It gets good gas mileage on the highway. So far this car has provided me well with transportation. I honestly like the feel of being higher up than a regular car, but not so much as a crossover vehicle. If you keep this car in good shape, I bet it will last a long time.

2010 dodge caliber. One issue is that the tranny overheats fairly easy.
The one thing I dislike about my car is that the transmission overheats fairly easy. When traveling down the freeway for a long period of time it can overheat and you must stop and put it in neutral (only) until the light goes off. It takes some time to get use to the blind spots. It has great gas mileage we use the premium in ours and gets about 30-33 mpg. We did find the if you need to use an infant car seat facing rear is almost next to impossible unless you move the seats way up making the leg room extremely limited. The hatchback does not require a key to open it just the button on the key and the switch went back and you could not use it until the switch was replaced. Not fun!! Other than having those few issues I do like the car. The seats are comfortable and the back seat lean back. You can fold them down and have lots of room to move large items. The very back is plenty of space for me to go shopping for 3 of us. I do really like that you can adjust the lumbar and the height of the driver's seat.

The perfect car for students.
To start, my dodge caliber has been very reliable, and I have passed the 100,000 miles mark with only a small amount of problems. Some problems I had was alignment issues, air conditioning not working, some car indicators not working or burning out. The biggest problem was air conditioning because it is recurring. It will not blow out cold air and I get it fixed quite often and find myself in the same position after a week or two. Moving on from the negatives, the car is cozy and can fit a lot of people into it. The seats are cozy and the stereo system in the car is perfect. The audio system I think beats out a lot of the newer car brands. The car is reliable, haven't had any real problems like breaking down or engine failing. Some features I really like is the ability for an aux cord so I can play music straight from my phone. There is a Bluetooth ability, but I messed that up and it speaks Croatian and I cannot find a way to fix it, which is extremely annoying. Other than that, there is a cooler for drinks in the glove compartment. The trunk space is more than enough so I can fit most of what I need into it. It is slow of the line and does not like going past 90. It handles well and it very tight and compact so it's like a toy car to me. I would definitely recommend this to a first time car buyer!

It is a good overall car. Nice gas mileage of 27 mpg. Good power. Has had some maintenance issues. Ball joints worn out way too early. Both had to be replaced within 60k miles. It is a good car for a tall driver. I am 6 ft 6 in and I fit well behind the wheel. Basic maintenance other than ball joints.

I love the fact that it is good on gas but it has no pep. When I am on the highway and I am trying to pick up speed it is very loud. The speaker’s come and go all the time. The one good thing is that it is great on gas. 20.00 will fill the tank up. I do not know what else to say about this vehicle.

Since I have had my car in the past 3 years it has had 3 recalls. Its looks like a small car but has a lot of space if you're a small family with 1 or 2 kids. Good on gas. Car is very reliable have had to do very little in repairs. Is great on gas and easy to handle. I have had this car for over 6 years and have no trouble with it. The car is not the fanciest but it gets the job done. Has a lot of storage space in the back for whatever you would need. Plenty of space in the back and lots of legroom and easy to clean. My vehicle as been pretty reliable, there have been a few issues had to have the wheel bearings, breaks repaired. Also have had to get a few tires replaced no fault of the car more road issues. Great car until it hit 110,000 miles.
My car has been wonderful and was easy to maintain until it hit 110,000 miles. That is when I started having costly issues with many different parts. I have had to replace the normal wear and tear, such as tires, brake pads, oil changes, etc. But once over 110,000 I have needed major work on the front end such as bearings and knuckles, transmission issues, electrical issues. I am currently waiting for my car to die to purchase a new one.

Dodge caliber: great for a low-budget car.
This car is pretty reliable if you take good care of it. I have had trouble with corrosion on the battery, but it was a simple fix. Other than that, the car is pretty nice and comfortable. The seats are cloth, which does hold on to heat in the summer months, but they cool down easily.

The room is nice. Gas mileage is great. I have had several problems with it and I have had it less than a year. The looks and drive is great until something breaks. I have fixed almost everything that is attached to the motor. As well as breaks. I still have more work to do to hope it will hold out. I need it a family car.

Good car for those that drive on average less than one hour per drive and do not need to carry heavy loads in the car. The car has trouble cooling the engine fluid when it is hot and humid outside. I would not recommend this car for places like St. Louis. I would recommend this for places like Chicago. If you take good care of the car it can last more than ten years. Can hold up to five people.

It's a tiny little car with little space for big family and people
It's a lovely car just not compatible with my large family. Me and my husband have 3 small children and car seats are a pain in general but the don't fit well in this vehicle. Also the head room, being six foot tall I have a hard time being in said vehicle for long periods of time without feeling cramped in the small space.

Great starter car and price was right!
My dodge caliber is an okay car too have. I most like that it is small enough to fit in any parking spot, it is comfortable, definitely not a gas guzzler, and very inexpensive car. The things I don't like is that it has a few parts that were recalled such as seatbelts and I honestly don't remember what else was recalled. It's a great starter car for small family use.

Reliability! It has a strong engine and comfortable seats!
Very reliable and sturdy. In all the years since 2010 it has never had any issues! I can haul many large construction materials in it. The gas mileage could be better; the only "complaint"!

The newer in year, the better.
This is a comfortable vehicle to drive. It is a four cylinder so good on gas. It needs parts replaced once it reaches 100, 000 miles.

It has a bad blind spot. So if you ever need to change lanes you need to look twice
I like the fact that the back seat lay down and allows you to carry things. I like the back seats are adjusted able. They allow you to sit straight or lay back a little

It is ok good gas mileage and a smooth ride.
Had brakes fixed front axle new tires. Aside from that good vehicle good gas mileage and a good ride. There is really nothing else I need to say about the vehicle but we only have one and could use another vehicle in the household. That is all I am going to say on the subject thank you.

The most important thing that folks should know about my car is that it's got a built in cooler in the glove box.
It's a Dodge Caliber, i picked it because I was in need of a new car. It wasn't necessarily my first choice but more of what was within my price range at the time I needed a car.

If the tires are not at the right pressure, it will not work properly.
Not new. It is working I like that. I do not like that it makes a noise when I make a right turn.

Good car for a good price
I like the style and hatchback. There's is an outlet that is very handy and the car is roomy enough for smaller trips to Home Depot. The car handles really well in the rain. It's a solid car. I've had transmission and AC issues. Overall the car is a good buy and a good price.

Dodge caliber: well made and reliable.
Overall, I love the size and captains of my car. It is a sports wagon, and it is not too big, not too small. The seats are very comfortable with a cloth interior. The headrest could be more comfortable, though. I love the storage that comes with the car as well. The center console has two compartments and there's also a small nook underneath the rear view mirror to hold small things like sunglasses, napkins, or anything else you might need quick access to. The trunk can hold a fair amount as well. I think the makers made great use of the space. As far as driving, the suspension, speed, and handling are all up to par. I don't really have any complaints.

The heated seats provide great comfort for seasonal areas. However, we've had several electrical issues surrounding the alternator. Pretty much, after break 140, 000 miles the car slowly began to break down. From the shock suspension, to the windows jumping off railing and getting stuck in the door while being rolled down.

I love our Dodge it is dependable good on gas.The car handles well. I think my only issue would be I wish it had more places to store your phone and other items in the car.
I think the most important thing is that the Dodge is a very dependable car.

Adventures in my Dodge caliber
This vehicle has been a good one.it's comfortable on long trips and the back seats lay down for more cargo room.I'VE had problems with the air conditioning, first the compressor went out then the switch stopped working. The audio is good quality and my phone syncs to the car easily. Overall it's a great car.

Good gas mileage but lots of mechanical issues. Has water leak and overheats. Does not have enough room.
