I get approximately 39 mpg.
I love my car! It has most everything I need, it is super efficient, I save money on gas. The only problem is the lack of sunroof. I love the features associated with the vehicle such as seat warmers, a backup camera, keyless entry and remote startup.

Surprisingly roomy and very easy to drive.
Very smooth ride and great on gas. The vehicle is very quite and easy to drive. I haven't had any major issues. The back seat is surprisingly spacious and there’s plenty of room in the trunk. I use the vehicle for work and I drive a lot. The car is flirty comfortable.

If you are going to drive it, slow stops and starts are the key to good gas mileage.
I like that it is a small car but has lots of space to haul things still. Car seats fit in it amazingly well. It gets good gas mileage for the size it is.

Great gas mileage! Over 40 miles to the gallon.
Over 40 miles to the gallon. Although the vehicle appears to be small from the outside, it is very spacious with a lot of head and leg room. Comfortable and great on gas! I chose to lease my vehicle and have very low payments. I would recommend purchasing this vehicle.

The car is so comfortable to drive, even for long distances.
I love that it is a hybrid so very easy on gas. It is also very comfortable to drive. It is quiet when running so I sometimes try to start it when it is already running. I have no had any problems with it in the 8 months I have owned it.

Compact car but feels more like a midsize crossover.
Comfortable, smooth ride. Winter features such as heated seats and side mirror defrosters are a bonus. Great gas mileage and decent amount of trunk space. Backseat is comfortable for passengers as well. Features include CarPlay and Bluetooth for hands free options.

Flat towable and efficient.

It is a hybrid. Got great gas mileage.
Like the gas mileage. Like the fact that it is a hybrid. Do not like the screen inside. It is too small.

C-max, comfortable and convenient.
I love the incredible gas mileage that comes with owning a hybrid. The c-max has lots of legroom and is very comfortable, even for my husband who is over 6 feet tall. The turn radius could be better and I do wish I had more room in the trunk. However, I am very happy with this car and have no major complaints.

Spacious in the front parks it is self for parallel parking has heated seats.
My car is great. Just wish it was bigger in the trunk. It is reliable and has only one issue with the camera sometimes. When trying to back up it is black screen and cannot see. I love the big front window. Wish it had more charge power, it only charges to 15 miles.

It is a great value for the cost and comfort compared to other hybrids on the market.
I like that it is a hybrid. I don't like that it isn't an all-wheel-drive. I also don't like how hot the car gets in the sun.

2 Flat tires in 6 months.
Tires are too small and pop way too easy! Had 2 blow in 6 months, and super expensive to replace $300.00!!!!

It is a hybrid so it is good for the environment and good on gas.
This car has really good gas mileage and great for travel or commuters. It is not the comfiest or the safest but it gets me from place to place. I have driven it plenty and haven't had any problems with it. It is a 2018 so it has Bluetooth and a good sound system.

Good, reliable car for gas mileage.
The ford c-max hybrid gets excellent gas mileage - about 42 mpg in warm weather and 38 mpg in winter. It is fun to drive and is surprisingly good in the snow and on ice. The only thing I do not like is the small cargo space. It is only large enough to fit two large suitcases and is not good if you have more than two people traveling.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Emily C.

Smooth drive, recycles gas, more miles per gallon, very comfortable. Even without all wheel drive, it is a great car. It adjusts to different people learning how to drive (you can see how well you do, how much mpg you are doing, etc).

likeFilled Al C.

Gas mileage above 30 mph. Cost of car was right. Roominess in front seat. Cargo space in trunk. Eco friendly. Monthly payments were right. It is the right vehicle and lease terms were right for a senior citizen. I liked the color and style.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Emily C.

Wish it were all wheel drive, but not a huge problem and wish they still made these cars because they're awesome! There are not any cons that I can think of. They're an awesome car for anyone, even those who are learning how to drive.

dislikeFilled Al C.

There are no cons for a senior. It's not fancy or stylish but that was important. The capacity is limited by size and does only fit 4 people. It is not built for speed. If the car could handle more people and still provide the eco friendly component it would be even better.
