A great family vehicle and good on gas.
My vehicle is very much reliable and was given to me by my grandmother after she passed. It's 11 years old and there has been a few recalls. Other than that it's fast, pretty good on gas. The rotators for my back doors and trunk have stopped working all of a sudden. Still consider it reliable though.

Reliable transportation for families.
My Kia Sedona is great on gas mileage, and I rarely have problems with it other than maintenance such as brakes and oil changes. I have owned it for 10 years and it is very reliable and is at about 149,000 miles. I hope to keep this minivan for another five years.

Kia Sedona Minivan Best Used Car I Ever Owned
Love this mini van. I bought it used 2 years ago and have had no trouble with it at all. It handles well in all weather conditions and is very stable even in high winds, rain and snow. Air conditioner and heater work great, and heated seats are wonderful in the winter.

It is very dependable and comfortable.
I keep the car up to date on oil and fluid changes and have not had any major problems. I bought the car used 5 years ago. I have replaced the battery once, wipers at least twice. Lights bulbs a few times. Tires. Have traveled very comfortably with it. Have taken a family of 6 on mini vacations many times. Have enjoyed driving it. I use my cruise control a lot. Thinking of replacing it with another newer make and model.

2008 Kia Sedona minivan. .
This is a very dependable vehicle. Only issue I have had is with the rear sliding doors being difficult to open. Fuel efficient, great on long trips. Storage and seating is sufficient. Heating and cooling system is good. Rear control helps passengers regulate their comfort.

It has a lot of room and It's affordable.
I love the space dor me and my family. The automatic doors are helpful. The only drawback of the light color of the fabric on the seats and floor.

Great car, family friendly
Love my car. It reliable. Dependable. It's got a lot of space and has pep. I love my car very much. If I was ever to buy another car I would buy a Kia. I also love the DVD player, seats, and the color. It's a great car. The sound system is great and there is a lot of storage.

2008 Kia Sedona Review. It's been a pretty reliable car for being 11 years old.
Electric doors have been broken down more than they are used. Turned the electric doors off so now only the manual doors work. The motor at times will just turn off. The GPS compass broke and so did the plastic container the power button to the back hatch which is also manually operated.

It's very big and spacious and great for anyone with a big family
It's really good on gas very dependable. It's very big and spacious. We drive to Florida from Kentucky and it fit my family really well. The side windows roll down and the ac is ice cold for the Florida heat. It's a very reliable family car for anyone that has a big family

The gas mileage sucks. And the transmission does not last forever.
I like that it fits my family. I do not like the gas mileage situation. But it is ok overall. I would buy this vehicle again.
accountCircle Sarah B
It fits my family, that's why I use it. I would pick something that runs more efficiently otherwise,
The doors freeze in winter and it uses a lot of gas.
accountCircle Linda A
Our Kia has dual heat and ac so the passenger and driver can control their own. It has extra airbags.
My Kia has great gas mileage. I performs very well, and I have not had major mechanical issues with the van. One thing I do not like about the is our gray seats always look d***y and stained, and they are hard to clean. The other problem is putting the rear seat down for more space. They are, also, a hassle to remove.

The 2008 Kia Sedona minivan is a very reliable, and dependable Minivan. Plenty of room, adjustable seats, rear ac/heat. Great gas mileage, great steering, brakes last, good wear on tire tread, comfy seats. No problems with engine and mileage is about 109,000 miles.
accountCircle Kimberly S
Smooth and comfortable on long trips to visit family.
My Kia rides really smooth. The air and heater works great. We do seem to have to recharge the air twice during the summer for some reason. Besides the recharge of the air my family enjoys going places without complaints of being uncomfortable. I would definitely buy another Kia.

It is cheap so you get what you pay for
It just has too many problems especially electric

I need to highlight an interesting detail of my Kia Sedona.
The minivan, it does the job. Very reliable, good for family trips. Does well off-roads too. Not the best gas mileage and the radio sucks, updates would help. The seats are comfortable but could use seat heaters. Plenty of legroom. And tons of cup holders.

It runs reliably and is probably the best minivan I have ever owned.
It is a very reliable vehicle, I have never had any major problems with how it runs. It is roomy enough to fit my family but does also not feel like it is a humongous vehicle. I do dislike how many times some little parts have to be replaced frequently.

Nice car but resale value is low
Dependable nice price Doors stuck in winter

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Keon D.

Drives smooth, lots of legroom and storage area, good on mileage, lots of space if you have a large family. Minor repairs I had done since owning the vehicle, good price for a van, smooth ride, lots of room if you more than one child if they need their space.

likeFilled Gabrail M.

I really like the automatic passenger doors on each side, and the climate controls for 3 different zones. (driver, passenger, and rear.) There are 12 beverage holders, which makes finding a place for refreshments a breeze.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Keon D.

I have no cons with the vehicle, no major issues, only thing that needed to be replaced a couple of times was the headlights bulbs keep blowing out, but no major problems. Just minor everyday repairs such as brakes, tires replaced, normal wear and tear, no major repairs.

dislikeFilled Gabrail M.

I dislike the far rear windows as they have manual controls which makes it hard for young children to open or close them. The placement of the hood ejection button is too far down to reach. I find myself having to exit the vehicle in order to pop the hood and check my oil.

Is The 2008 Kia Sedona A Good Value?

I do not remember the current value, but I felt that it was at a good price. I am close to finishing the payment.
Janet R.
I no longer have a payment on my Kia Sedona. I got it on line from someone for $1,500 cash. That was probably 5 years ago now. It only had 60,000 miles on it.
Cristina S.
Mine was 11000 from a used car dealer. It was not a good deal to me. It came with a lot of problems from the dealer
Jenna E.
I bought mine used, cannot remember how much I bought it for. But so far it has been worth every penny
Linda D.
It's going for about $3000 to $4000 right now, used, and in really good condition. I paid $4000 for my Kia Sedona. It is a great bang for your buck.
