A great vehicle for on or off road.
My vehicle is a very comfortable ride. It does have a rough idle, I think due to the transmission, however the ride is smooth. It is very roomy and has lots of storage, which is a must. I wish it had more technology like newer vehicles but I am happy with it overall.

It sits higher than most current SUVs.
I bought my vehicle a little over a year ago, love it, and have had absolutely no issues! It is everything I expected and more! It actually has more room inside than expected (almost went with a larger SUV) - I have yet to encounter a situation where it didn't fit my needs perfectly.

2015 nissan xterra pro 4x, . Any road, anywhere, any condition.
No matter what the road conditions are, the xterra will get you where you need to be. Can haul over 1,000 pounds of gear and can tow any u-haul trailer if need be or pull someone out of the ditch, snow or mud. Great handling and power. I added a cold air intake to add a couple extra hp's to my takeoff. Plenty of room in the interior, folding down seats, heated seats, electronic start, 4 wheel drive low and high and cargo area finished with all weather material. Rockford sound system with 7 inch GPS and XM radio, plenty of speakers and subwoofers for supreme sound. Very enjoyable ride with the ability to go anywhere, any road, any condition.

My xterra the good and the bad.
My xterra is awesome. It drives very well especially in the snow. It has 16 inch tires that can go anywhere. The inside has lots of room for kids and groceries. The only thing bad about it is the gas mileage it only gets about 12 mpg. Which means lots of trips to the gas station.

Great cargo area for carrying my dog on trips.
My xterra is great in all ways except for gas mileage. I really wish it was more fuel efficient and that Nissan made the xterra in a diesel model. My leather seats are great and very comfortable. The back up camera could be higher quality. I really like that the cargo area is a hard plastic instead of carpet. It makes it easy to clean.

Pros: rugged and utilitarian, reliable, unique looks and design Cons: higher gas consumption, narrow rear seat entry and exit. Neutral facts: Spartan essentials for adventures in different environment means not luxurious by nature. Think of a rough and tumble St. Bernard instead of a high-gloss show Poodle. Why would they discontinue this??? Nothing out there like it at this pricepoint. Will make you focus on achieving your goals and relationship building instead of your paint job and tech gadgets.

This vehicle is part of the family!
I love the Nissan Xterra so much, as a vehicle. I much prefer it over a car because of how spacious it is, as well as how rugged. This suv can take a lot! This is a vehicle that you don't have to worry and stress over breaking down, because it'll be with you for the long haul! It becomes a part of your life and personality.

They should remake Xterra. No other model or make is comparable.
Truck like. Sits up high. No bulk. Dislike shape of back door and difficult to enter with narrow leg space.

Great SUV but expensive on the wallet. It can go through anything.
My xterra is generally a reliable vehicle. The tires are larger and handles snow and rain very well. The only thing I don't like about it is the gas mileage. I only get about 11 miles a gallon and I work about 40 miles from home so it costs a lot to get to work and back.

Don't buy of you have more than 2 passengers on a regular basis.
Like that it rides high, lots of room. Hate the gas mileage and despise how difficult entrance and exit is for the back seat.

Review of Nissan xterra. The good and the bad.
I love the look of my xterra. It's very roomy and sporty looking. It drives extremely well and is easy to maintain. There is plenty of room for passengers and cargo. The only drawback or negative thing is the gas mileage. It only gets about 12 miles a gallon.

Great adventure vehicle!
Great adventure vehicle. Not many luxury features and surprisingly does not have a compass of thermometer. Otherwise tons of space for gear, great access to the roof. It is a very tall car though so short people beware. No major issues to report in 5 years, general maintenance and it is good to go.

Is The 2015 Nissan Xterra A Good Car?

Yes. It is reliable, getting good mileage and maintenance costs have been reasonable. I have driven it across country, coast to coast on highways, as well as rough, backcountry roads.
Tim B.
Yes, I have owned the vehicle for just over a year now, and it has been great. It also has enough room for me to have my whole family with me.
Nathanie A.

How Reliable Is The 2015 Nissan Xterra?

Yes it is reliable. So far no problems at all. I have made sure to get regular maintenance and oil changes.
Tim B.
To this point, I have not had any major problems with it. The only slight issues I have had are with the steering. This issue could be due to the oversized tires.
Nathanie A.

Is The 2015 Nissan Xterra A Good Value?

I paid $26,000 a few years ago for my new xterra. For me this was a good value, especially since a wanted a SUV that could handle backcountry roads.
Tim B.
My Nissan was about 15,000. I would say that this is a fair price for the vehicle. The Nissan owners app is absolutely terrible though. Also, the entertainment system could be improved.
