Love this car and can fit the whole family.
It drives great and fits the whole family. Gas mileage is kind of bad on it but when you have. Large family it works. It is safe and dependable.
accountCircle Joe S
Great affordable reliable car to have.
Very reliable car. Keep up with regular maintenance and there has been no issues so far. Performance is great. It is a very reliable car if you take care of it and keep up with the necessary maintenance. Inside has a decent amount of space for everyone to sit comfortably.

It has a great brand in which the customer service and maintenance team is amazing and repairs are easy to find.
I love my car It's really spacious, my kids car seat are secured, seats are nice. I wish the mpg was a little higher because I spent a lot on gas. Overall I feel it is a reliable vehicle.
accountCircle Maria P

Big, roomy, comfortable. Reliable. Runs smooth. Love Toyotas!

The most interesting detail is the box that is very modern and compact from my point of view.
The car is very compact, quite comfortable, it is not very expensive, it is easy to handle, it has good performance, it is of quality, and the seats are very comfortable.

Love my 4runner, I hope it lasts forever!
I have never had any issues with my 4runner. I have always wanted one and my parents got me one from high school graduation. I am almost a senior in college and I have never had any issues. I hope to have this car when I have kids. 4runners are known to last a very long time.

Nice sporty roomy vehicle
Wheel well sounds. Air conditioning unit problems heated seats not working after a few months broken sunroof
accountCircle Gabby B
Pretty car not sure worth it.
It is very light weight and while driving on the highway it does not feel like it would protect you very much and also it is so light the wind makes it hard to drive sometimes. The turning radius is horrible. It is a very pretty car and great size and perfect for a family or single person.
accountCircle Alanee N
Good car with minor tweaks to it. Great for the winter, not good for the summer.
Window does not function, brakes get bad after every fix, seats are comfortable, but the features are outdated. The truck does good in the snow but often spins off if not taken carefully. Toyota's customer service is not the best either, the lack of concern they've had every time I had a car issue is overwhelming.
accountCircle Cheryl T
Reliability, roominess. Great tire size for off-road.
It is a really reliable car, with lots of room. Brakes and suspension are decent. Great for off-road fishing trips.

Toyota 4runner limited edition.
Very reliable vehicle and love the appearance. We have had zero issues with it and owned it for a few years. Does great in the snow even without turning on the 4 wheel drive. Our only issue is the third row. Just wish the third row had more room and better ventilation cause the heat and ac do not reach back that far.
accountCircle Hayley B
4runner, not a great family car.
My car is extremely reliable, I have had it for 6 years and never had to fix anything on it. My car is not very family friendly. I live in Texas so in the summer the backseat becomes extremely hot. The air vents in the back are poorly placed and not very powerful and air does not reach the third row at all. The third row is also very hard to get to.
accountCircle Devon M
My review of Toyota 4runner.
All in all it is a good reliable vehicle but I do have some issues with it. Bluetooth does not pick up all connections and establishing a connection is hit or miss. It is difficult to load things in the back because of the design of the hatch, it could be remedied with a foot sensor to automatically open it. The lights will not turn off on their own, if there is a door slightly ajar etc. So this has drained my battery on multiple occasions.

Not your typical mom car but has plenty of space for the kids and all their gear.
I feel safe in my 4runner with my 2 kids. There was a recall on the fuel pump that they took care of right away with no problems. I love the 3rd row seats gives me plenty of space to bring along extra kids. It's also large enough to haul around a bunch of surfboards and beach gear.
accountCircle Erika M on June 24, 2021
Excellent family vehicle!
It is a very reliable SUV. Only thing I wish I had is a third row seat. It is roomy, safe and easy on gas. I love that it has a touch screen. We get it serviced regular and keep up with maintenance. Normal wear & tear but it will last us a long time..

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Emily S.

Pro- Great for off roading and camping/other outdoor activities. It's very comfortable to travel in. Con- The gas mileage on it is expensive. I've had it for about one year and there's many problems that have been recurring with the battery.

likeFilled Jessica G.

Size, luxury options, 3rd row seat, 4x4, backup camera, heated seats, sunroof, hands-free set up for cellphone, large cargo area, roomy back seat, leather, economical compared to other SUVs, reliable, safe, Toyota is reputable in my opinion.

likeFilled Chelsea O.

Extremely off road capable. You can modify and add a lot of aftermarket stuff because people are into accessorizing this vehicle very similar to Jeep. There is a big cult following so you can find social media groups for 4runner owners. Can transport a lot. Reliable because a lot of them are being sold at a great price being older and with a lot of miles, so you know they will run forever. Comfortable. Can tow up to 3500 lbs which is nice for small trailers.

likeFilled Cody B.

The 2015 Toyota 4runner is extremely roomy, my kids plus friends have room to travel comfortably. The leather feature with heated seats during the winter is amazing! Driving for pleasure or work is always joy.

likeFilled Jaime H.

Great quality. Mid range gas mileage. Smooth ride. Comfortable ride. Nice sound quality. Plug in middle console and also in trunk. Aux hook up. 6 disc changer. Buttons on steering wheel. Automatic seat adjustments.

likeFilled Aghiles B.

It is a solid car, very stable on the road, and is great for off roading on rocks, snow or sand. It is reliable and has a beautiful interior and exterior, back window opens, great sound, has his built into it and satellite radio.

likeFilled David A.

The Toyota 4runner is a magnificent specimen of a vehicle with great handling and easy to use 4 wheel drive. It can navigate any terrain and is great as a sports utility vehicle or just a common recreational vehicle. The gas mileage is fair enough and there are no defects that cause persistent leakages or the such. The back canopy is easily detachable, making the vehicle almost a jeep like quality for recreational use. The transmission did start to go out on my previous 4runner, but this only happened after 10 years of rugged outdoor use.

likeFilled Charlotte W.

Leather seats, sunroof, smooth driving, better gas mileage than older models, entry into front door without hitting unlock if key fob is near, back window can roll down without the vehicle on, wide running boards, touchscreen media.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Emily S.

The cons of my vehicle are that the gas mileage on it is very expensive. I love my Toyota 4Runner but it can be very high maintenance. The battery on it is weak I my opinion. I wish it would have ran longer.

dislikeFilled Jessica G.

None really. I picked this vehicle because it met all the things that I was looking for in a vehicle and it met all my needs. I have two kids, and I wanted to have enough room for them and friends if needed.

dislikeFilled Chelsea O.

Would like a great towing capacity. Would enjoy being able to take top and doors off like Jeeps. I wish they came with a cooler sport package because I would like to have blacked out emblems, rims and mud tires on it. The interior is a little plain and in the older models they used a really cheap looking dashboard materials that scratches easily. I have the 2015 so there are no automatic lights, so you have to flip them on at night and I am used to the auto lights. This model I have has no lane assist and blind spot detection. It is such a smooth ride that before you know it, you are speeding. I wish there was a speeding alert.

dislikeFilled Cody B.

Cons-. 1. Not a four wheel drive. 2. Cost of a brand new 4 runner can be pricey. 3. There really is not any cons I have found with my personal 4runner in the past five years. I will purchase another when the time arises.

dislikeFilled Jaime H.

I'd say the mid range gas mileage. Cloth seats are not the easiest to keep clean. Difficult to put back seats down and sometimes the seatbelts lock up. The trunk does not have any kind of organizer, just a large space.

dislikeFilled Aghiles B.

Sometimes when I load very large items in the truck, I am obligated to leave the trunk door open, and with that, the car keeps beeping non stop when driving and I didn't find a way to let the car know that I am aware that my trunk is open.

dislikeFilled David A.

The transmission eventually went out after 10 years of rugged use. The back canopy is detachable, but my own model must be manually detached and removed, which can be problematic when trying it alone.

dislikeFilled Charlotte W.

Roof rack does not have bars that run across the vehicle for tying down things such as kayaks, 18-20 mpg, oil changes last longer but requires more expensive oil, no third row option with the slide out trunk.

Is The 2015 Toyota 4Runner A Good Value?

I got it used for $24,500 from a ford dealership, I think it was a good value. I wasn't leaving the dealership till I got the price I wanted.

The Toyota make can get a bit pricey but they hold value very well. I bought my vehicle used about a year ago and it still seems to be holding its value.
Ashley G.
30,000$ its a fair price, for the durable that it is, maintain its value, besides the parts are easy to find and economic.
Gean P.
They are generally in the higher range of thirty thousand and is a good value if you can find one used and one that has been taken care of.
Phil F.
It is reasonably priced. Not cheap by any means but not crazy. I would say that it is a very good value when you consider the resale value and upkeep costs.
Kelsey B.
I bought it for $35k. Toyota vehicles never decrease in value. It will be an easy resale if I ever decide to.
Alessandra T.
My car was 45,000 when I bought it new in 2015. It's definitely on the pricey side but it was a car that I'd wanted for some time.
Christie R.
We purchased used at a great price! It’s the best value when it’s a Toyota. It will last a lifetime. We can't wait to pass it down to our kids as their 1st cae
