Passionate about my Passat!
I love Volkswagens. This passat is my favorite car I have ever driven! It is spacious in the cargo area and in the trunk. The leather interior is comfortable and cooling in the summer. This car rides smoothly and feels safe because it is! It is a fast car that zips around and gets great gas mileage.

Very dependable and easy on gas. I have very little repairs and use daily. My only dislike is how low it sits making it harder to get in and out of for those of us who have knee problems

Comfortable for Cruising VW Passat Wagon
I honestly have not had too much trouble with my car other than normal maintenance, of course. It drives so unbelievably smooth and is extremely comfortable. Being a 2009, the features and perks aren't the most up to date. However, it's just modern enough for me, without too many distractions.

It is a sports car and has all wheel drive.
Very comfortable and fast, however is a bit small. The brakes work very well and it is a nice style!

The check engine light is on a lot.
No complaints about my car. It is a good car. I like how it drives, the sunroof and the touch screen and navigation, not to mention the seats.

A reliable car for a first time car owner.
I love my car its good on gas and a comfort to drive. Its efficient for me and very reliable. It's not too complicated to understand and I love the interior of my car and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a first time car...It would be a great choice.

My car is amazing all the time. It has 200,000 miles and I've had it since 30,000. If you routinely maintenance your Passat it will last FOREVER!

Volkswagen Passat review. This vehicle appears on the outside to look high end.
It is broken down several times in the five years I have had it. I bought it used. The engine failed and without having a warranty it would've cost $9000 dollars to replace and the vehicle used only cost $11, 000. It does not get good gas mileage and the air-conditioner does not work well. I would not recommend this car.

It's a fine car for getting from point A to point B but is just average in the snow.
My vehicle is old and has started to show its age. The ceiling fabric began to uncling and the paint is beginning to chip.

Don't buy this car, it'll give you more problems than good.
Always something to fix every couple months. The maintenance is pretty expensive given its in the shop 4-6 times a year with some type of issue. I've had my engine that's needed to be repaired to my electric control panel that been shot. The windshield has leaked before leaving my car with a terrible smell.

It is comfortable and spacious.
There are too many engine issues that I have had to pay out of pocket even when I had an extended warranty. Several recalls were issued and it still not been serviced by the manufacturer. However, when its not having issues, it rides well and is spacious.

One interesting detail would be it needs more service work than I thought
Not as reliable as I thought they were. Need more maintenance than I anticipated. The parts in the car are relatively cheap and do not hold up very well.I don't think I would buy another one in the future. I have friends that purchased one as well and they aren't satisfied with the vehicle either. Just isn't the best car for the money

It is very dependable. No major problem in all the years I have had it.
Thee car is extremely dependable and while not new has very few problems. It has great pick up and a very smooth ride. It is just not my type of car as it is a wagon and a little big at this stage of my life.

Throttle body problems
Got this as my first car, interior is amazing, the exterior looks great as well it also has pretty good gas mileage, it’s a pain tho. The second be a little rough on the car, it will either throw a epc or engine light. I honestly wouldn’t get this car unless you are fine with putting in some work, i consistently have throttle body issues and random check engine lights. (fixed now for around $500). If you are going to get a passat incest in a model 2015 or newer

The overall drive of the Passat is amazing. The turbo engine is great feature on this model allowing you to flow in traffic on the highway. The ride of it is like no other with inside features that are equal to many other Germany luxury brands.

It is a very reliable car. I really like the sunroof feature along with heated leather seats. I have driven my car a lot and it is very comfortable during longer road trips. It gets average gas mileage as well.

The headlights remain on at all times while the car is on. This makes replacing headlights much more common than on other vehicle brands. Most internal parts are hard plastic that over time wear faster.

I do not like that I have to fill it up with premium gas as it has a small turbo. I wish the gas mileage was better as well. I have to use a Bluetooth add-on to play my phone as it does not have an aux feature.
