I have been moving this weekend and put when all the seat are down a lot can fit
I love all the space it provides. I use it as a truck. I love the gliding doors however I wish there was a button to automatically open the back hatch. It drives smooth and I haven't had to do any additional work to it other than maintenance. The air conditioner works good in this heat

Don't buy dodge shoddy parts and wiring
Terrible for mileage over $20,000 in parts since bought faulty wiring doors freeze shut in winter and while open constantly putting news brake pads on and rotors every 3 months has had a oil leak for years that never seems to get fixed at the dealership very disappointed in dodge caravan will never buy a dodge again

Great car for years time for an upgrade
The cab has frozen well for years. It's falling apart, now though. The parking brake is shot and can't be replaced, because the part is obsolete. It burns through headlights. Overall, it's been a great ride for the past 5 years. The stow-and-go feature is my favorite part.

It is a great family car and has a lot of room for older kids.
Haven't had any major issues, just small things that the Dodge dealership is taking care of such as sliding doors sticking, radio not working and blinker acting up.

I can take my grandkids on trips together in one vehicle. I can load all my craft stuff for shows. It is mechanically sound.

The stow and go storage is a lifesaver.
Performance is great! Drives and handles well! Nothing wrong with it just the maintain items. Oils changes and a tune up. I love to stow and go storage. It's great for big families like mine. We are able to fill up all the seats and still be comfortable. When going on vacation.

It's nice to drive because of Its height.
I love caravans for their size and for their design. I dislike the rust that happens quickly with dodge products.

I love the In floor Seat Storage
I bought my car used but we haven't had any out of the ordinary issues with our van. I love the floor storage seats and countless cupholders! It is so easy to fall in love with this car. It helps me haul things around. I can take all of my family in one vehicle. I can also use it for the occasional camping trip. The only thing I wish it had was a tail hitch.

The car has a bit of age and of course related problems. Easy to drive but will overheat in hot weather.
LIKE:Roomy and easy to drive. Plenty of space for gear. DISLIKE. Old. Poor MPG

I would recommend purchasing this vehicle for its price and it's versatility
It's very versatile. It's nice when you can put all the seats and back up or down as needed. It was very affordable. It has a few shakes and rattles, mostly due to its age. But still handles well. I would recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for something on these lines.

Dodge grand caravan: plenty of convenience, power, and ease of handling.
The Dodge grand caravan has been an excellent vehicle for someone who must drive frequently for work. The passenger area is roomy, though the third row seats are a little cramped. The stow and go seats are great when you need to haul cargo, and are easy to operate. The van handles well. I have driven in many different terrains from mountains to desert without any problems. The v-6 engine gives it plenty of power without using too much gas.

Dodge Grand Caravan real review from a mom.
I love the design and 'tougher' look of the van. It is not the traditional 'mom' van. There are lots of cup holders, storage and features. The back row does not have a lot of legroom but it's ok for children. It drives great. The front and rear air is excellent. I love that both side rear doors and the back gate open with the key and from the driver's seat. The rear seats fold down into the floor to make lots of cargo room. There is storage under the floor between the front and second seats and I love that it keeps things organized and is easy to get to. There are a few issues we have with our van. The side doors make a really annoying squeaky noise when driving down the road. It does not affect anything but our nerves. There is also a popping sound from the front driver side that we can't seem to solve but it only does it when driving slow and turning the wheel. Sometimes the passenger doors take a few times to get them to close but I still love the van. The power windows in the side doors are really awesome especially with my children when we are sightseeing or just enjoying fresh air. Overall it's a great vehicle.

The good and bad of the grand caravan.
My grand caravan has plenty of space for all of my flea market inventory or for 7 passengers if I am taking my family places. It also has storage under the floorboards in the middle section. There has been one recall on the ignition system and have had to replace blinker bulbs twice in the back and the top brake light.

I think other should know that my Dodge caravan is very dependable.
The Dodge caravan takes up and uses to much gas per week. Another issue would be the radio/time display, I'm not a fan of the design and the overall design scheme. The say goes for the heating/cooling system design scheme. There is not an option to totally disable the system, so there is always wind blowing a all times. Despite all this the Dodge caravan is a very comfortable car to both drive as well as be a passenger in.

My experience with my Dodge minivan.
I bought this vehicle used a couple of years ago. It had close to 180, 000 miles on it. Since then we've put about another 40, 000 miles on it ourselves. I have yet to have any problems with it. We maintain the oil changes on the regular as well as the air filter. Occasionally, we'll put fuel additives, but other then that, it has been maintenance free. It is been a smooth ride since we got it!
accountCircle Brandon D on February 10, 2021
The fuel economy is excellent, and having all that room is a no brainer.
Drives really well. Handles really well. Cargo space is massive. I can load up the van on the weekend and we have all the room and gadgets we need for a road trip.

Overall good family vehicle.
Overall performance has been good to fair. Problems include squeaks from center roof consoles. Frequent need to replace brake pads. Rear-wheel drive is difficult to get around in the winter. . Comfort and positive features include; automatic doors, bucket seats provide separation between children, automatic fold down seats are convenient.

Loved my van. Fits 7 people and has the awesome stow and go storage. It's also roomy and dependable. Has not broken down since we bought it six years ago. Seats are so easy to put down for more storage. You don't have to be pulling seats out and lugging them out with this van. Tons of cup holders.

It has low miles on it well it did when I bought it but for a ten yr. Old car.
I've replaces the transmission sensors, wheel bearings tie rod heater core. I've put a lot of money into it but its reliable and gets me places. A few complex issues on an otherwise great van.
Being used it initially had electrical problems which after replacing other parts turned out to be a dying battery. Now it has a bad fuel injector that was hard to diagnose BC it was the circuit inside the injector. It is otherwise very awesome love the stow n go. It is all the vehicle our family needs.

My vehicle is used in many different ways. We use it as our main mode of transportation for day to day travel. We use it for vacation road trips. This van is a safe and comfortable vehicle. It performs really well and I feel very good about driving it.
We bought this vehicle from Garber Auto in Green Cove Springs, FL, and we use this dealership for maintenance, as well. We also bought my husband's 2018 from there. I love the features included in my van: heated seats, bluetooth enabled, satellite radio, etc. It also has the stow and go feature. The vehicle performs really well. Dodge grand caravan review.
It is amazing and reliable I travel at least 30 miles a day and I can depend on it. The only bad thing I could say about it is it can be costly to fill up the gas tank. But besides that, I would really recommend this as a trustworthy reliable car to drive.

Pros and Cons of 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan
Had to have the computer module replaced 3 times in 1 year. I wish the curve of the dashboard was lower down, as I am only five foot three inches tall so it is sometimes hard to see when going up a steep hill. Nice size and good for family with young kids. I like the stow and go for when we need to move large objects. The VES system is nice for road trips with the kids. I love that everything is automatic and especially that the gas pedal can be raised or lowered, so in my case I can raise it up.

I really have not had any problems with it. I currently need to replace the wheel speed sensor, but that needs replaced due to my partner being an idiot, not the car having issues. It is a smooth ride with just the right amount of power. It has dual DVD monitors in it and the capability of hooking up a gaming system. I love the stow and go. Not a great choice but it does well.
The interior is nice but all the nooks and crannies make it hard to clean. The seats are comfortable and the built in child restraints are a nice touch. There are a bunch of cup holders and plenty of storage space. It is good vehicle for long trips. But it also has a lot of problems: transmission shaft seals, oil pan seals, ac lines, brake calipers seizing up, undersized brake pads, antifreeze leaks, head gasket seals and power steering fluid leaks to name a few. The keyless entry fob fails regularly which results in expensive reprogramming and key replacement costs. They suggest to change the oil every 5000 miles but I learned to get it done every 3000 because the engine eats upwards to a quart and a half between changes.

Gas mileage is awesome. 6 speed automatic makes cruising the highway a great trip. It's all power so at a push of a button everything opens and closes. Dual monitors for the kids to watch whatever movie they want on long travels. Security system is also awesome. Love the panic button. Works for pranking your friends. They get too close to the van while waiting for you and you just push a button and watch them jump a foot off the ground when the alarm goes off. Way too funny. All in all it's a great vehicle. Spacious and comfortable especially for long trips. With seats down, can load a lot of boxes or luggage, etc. A very practical utility vehicle for hauling, as well as a well featured passenger van. I love the stow away seats, this allows me to have plenty of room for hauling large items like a sheet of plywood, bikes and lots of boxes that saves me from renting a truck. Two features on this model I am not happy with is the middle windows do not go down for the people in the back to get air, and there are no air conditioning/heat vents so you have to rely on the front vents to cool or heat vehicle. It has been very reliable. Haven't had major issues besides normal wear and tear service. Had to replace the tires every 4 years or so and breaks and rotors are probably the most that needs to be updated more frequently

11 years old and still running great!
I love having automatic doors, windows, seats and rear hatch. The stow 'n go seats are awesome for creating more storage room or just more space inside. And the seats are easy to store away and set back up. My van is 11 years old and still runs great.

Pros and cons of a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan.
The stow-n-go seating is helpful when more space is required (eG. , camping equipment), as well, the temperature controls for all three sections of the van. Additionally, the seats and ride are comfortable for my bad back. Downside, I wish that the rear door was power controlled like the two sliding doors.

Convenient but a pain to fix.
A pain to work on. Brakes, exhaust, everything. Very convenient with six kids. Easy to get in and out of. Two screens for DVD viewing and open doors with a click of a button.

Carries a lot of cargo when needed.
Bought it used and it has performed pretty well. I like that all the seats in the middle and back that go into the floor to carry to make a flat surface to carry big items. Do regular service checks and it will serve you well.

The room it has!! It is honestly is my favorite thing about my van.
I am a huge fan of the room that I have in my Dodge van. It is convenient that the seats easily go into the floor in the back making it easy to haul large items. I am not a fan of the front seats. Not comfortable a all.

2008 Dodge grand caravan, perfect for the on the go mom.
I love my van but wish it had more features. Like the DVD player. I feel like I need to upgrade soon. I do like that it seats 7 and is very roomy. My kids are able to get in and out easily. We also tend to have lots of sleepovers, it's never a problem as we always have room to spare. The trunk is super roomy.

Drives smoothly, has a little bit of issues.
Shakes when above 1000 rpms. Idles a little high. Kind of kicks at 30 mph. Heat smells hot when just turned on.

Great vehicle, good family vehicle.
This vehicle is pretty reliable. It begins to have some issues such as tire stud breakage after a certain number of miles. But it will continue to run until all the parts fall off it. Great vehicle. Very safe. The only thing I do not like is it sits too low to the ground. This makes it hard to go through snow and such.

It gets the job done, not flashy but effective.
Nice interior, roomy but tends to have a few mechanical issues.

Family trip friendly but basic features
This has been a great van for us. We got a very basic model so we do miss having cruise control and rear AC. We love the stow and go especially for trips with our 4 kids.

Cheap reliable and a smooth ride.
Great handling and reliability. Lots of space and cargo area. The DVD players are great for the kids.
