It has a smooth ride and accelerates quickly Everything you want in a car.
I love my Taurus. This is the 2nd Taurus that I have owned. I like that it is a quick car with easy handling.
accountCircle Rachel M
Love the way it steers and the way it hugs the road
I love this car very safe lots of airbags. Only problem we have had is with the rotors and wheel bearings going out. I have owned it for 5 years and it still looks great. No rut no bubbling and no electrical issues. I would rebuy it again if it was an option.

Ford Taurus review of 2020.
The car is nice. It runs smooth stereo could be better though. Great on gas and its roomy on the inside. Has no problem making hills and going for long drives. Easy to work on. Electric seats which are nice. Ac in the rear which is also nice. All around great car.
accountCircle Danielle F
My royal blue the most dependable smooth riding ride.
I have not had any problems with my Taurus other than the back window is hard to see out of. They are very spacious and the trunk is huge. Perfect for a family vacation. I got bad gas once and I was so worried that it was something else. I would not trade my car for anything.

2011 Taurus Sedan aka Spaceship
This 2011 Taurus replaced my 1997 Taurus, so in comparison driving it is like driving a spaceship. It gets 20+ MPG, but is powerful enough to accelerate fast when I need it. The driver's seat is where I spend the majority of my time, but the back seat is roomy and comfortable. The trunk is HUGE. It is a great car and looks like a luxury sedan, without that large price tag.
accountCircle Terri L
Smooth, comfortable and roomy.
My car is a 2011 ford Taurus se, silver four door. I bought it in 2012 and it still looks and drives like a brand new car. It has a roomy interior, soft fabric seats and a huge trunk. It is awesome to take on family vacations, a very smooth ride. This is the best car I have ever owned.
accountCircle Toni T
Worth the money! It's not a car to break down often.
I like the way it looks and it's been a great car for me I am going to buy me a newer model next year no dislike.
accountCircle Rina F
It beeps in reverse when there is something near the car.
I love my car, it's roomy, runs well and looks great. Wish it had a backup camera. That would make it perfect.

Negative Owner Reviews

accountCircle David J
Barely reliable vehicle, poorly designed seals.
The door seals on the doors do not seat properly and fall off causing leaks. The steering has gone out and has to have power steering fluid added regularly.
accountCircle Dawn K
Ice white Taurus. More versatile than one would think from first appearances.
It is a good dependable car. Big blind spots when backing up. Making it difficult to park, or pull out from parking spaces. Trunk is a nice size and the fact you can fold the back seat down and use the car as a hatchback had been nice. Leaves and debris get stuck in front hood and trunk. Leaving dirt deposited.
accountCircle Maurice A
Clean, spacious and to date with style.
My brakes go out really easily. The phone button in the car has nothing to do with Bluetooth option. I called ford to get help with this but they couldn't tell me anything certain I wanted to hear. Also my car does save well on gas but also can be expensive when filling up the tank. It takes impact from potholes terribly. I like the car for the shape and model but it can use some updates.
accountCircle Sharon K
It is not easy to adjust the steering wheel position.
I do not like that some of the controls on the dashboard are in inconvenient places and hard to reach for me. I am only 5'3" and it is hard to control the radio by the knobs sometimes. I also do not like that some of the "custom features" such as hooking up my cell phone to the steering wheel and the radio as well, to the steering wheel is not explained well.
accountCircle Teresa T
Reliable vehicle with a smooth ride and comfortable seats.
Comfortable and reliable vehicle. Can be used as family car. Roomy trunk for groceries. Smooth ride.

2011 Ford Taurus owner review.
My 2011 Ford Taurus is and has been a very reliable car. It is comfortable and smooth riding with a decent amount of bells and whistles. The gas mileage is not amazing and there have been a couple of little things that are annoying like the tire pressure sensor going when tire has no issue and a couple of little shaky noises in the cabin but all in all I have been happy with the car.
accountCircle Teresa H
It is a large car and it does not get very good gas mileage.
My 2011 Ford Taurus is features leather seats with dual power seats. It includes a backup alarm and a large comfortable back seats that seats three. It has been a reliable car with little maintenance problems. The one thing that could be improved is the gas mileage.
accountCircle Indria L
The depth of my trunk, and why it is important.
My car is having some problems with either the tires or the chassis. It is a pretty comfortable ride, but I prefer my van better. I miss sitting up higher and having lots of room for my family to ride and put extra stuff into. My Taurus has a huge trunk. At the moment it is very junky, but when I go grocery shopping it has plenty of room to put stuff into.

Some interesting details that the car contains led light built into the interior.
There’s some electrical problems with the car. For example the seat warmers no longer working and the back up camera no longer working. But other than that the car is a really good car. I haven't had any bug problems with the car and it is good on gas mileage.

Taurus performance- speed, handling and feel. Also issues in design.
I like the car. The car performs well, takes curves well. The horsepower is good. One she's going she'll pick up speed quick and it does not feel like it's moving as fast as it is. You cannot feel the speed. I have heated leather seats which are nice in winter. The one issue I have is the front end is not aligned well and the tires wear weird. It gets harder to rotate due to this.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Andria J.

Updated features such as back up camera, sunroof, good stereo, lots of room for guests or other people in general, also have heated seats and cooling seats I just got this car but I am a big fan of the upgrades it came with compared to my last car.

likeFilled Joseph B.

It is a full size car with a lot of room, which there's not many on the road these days. It is practical for the children with a lot of space but also still moves pretty well and the paddle shifters are pretty fun.

likeFilled Rita G.

A lot of legroom. Performs really well in the snow. Good and sturdy build. Room when I transport my grandkids and good roomy trunk. Very easy to handle and sharp looking appearance. I would highly recommend buying a ford Taurus sel.

likeFilled Trina B.

Gets good gas mileage. I have had people drive slower because it looks like an unmarked police car. I have had to pass at least 5 cars, which I had no problem doing. I like that the trunk can be gotten into from the inside of the car.

likeFilled Angela Q.

Runs nice when new inside looks good for older model. But the fact that it is a ford makes it live by its name and is not the best of vehicle. Not really a family vehicle as I can barely fit our 2 carseats in the back.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Andria J.

Like I said I just got it so I do not know a ton about it yet but I wish I had a heated steering wheel and better gas mileage. I only get about 17 miles per gallon in town and about 23 ish per gallon on the highway so it could be better it is no electric car for sure.

dislikeFilled Joseph B.

The mileage in this could be better but it is understandable being a v6. The car is really enjoyable at first sight but can become boring looking after a while, it would be a lot better looking and performing car if it was the sho.

dislikeFilled Rita G.

I would truly love better gas mileage when I travel to see my boyfriend that lives ninety miles away. My interior dashboard lights sometimes get dim and I cannot get them to stay bright. My seat covers are a light color and often I wish they were a darker color or leather.

dislikeFilled Trina B.

It has a large trunk. The back seat will lay down flat if there is something in the trunk that is bigger than the trunk. It has bucket seats. The seats goes back really far for tall people. The front seats are heated.

dislikeFilled Angela Q.

Is not a family made vehicle as I can barely but both car seats in the back. Honestly has been nothing but issues since purchasing it. I am also not a ford person and too me, the car is living up to my standards for it.
