The amount of space in this vehicle is what made me make the purchase.
The only ongoing issue I have had with my vehicle is an emission leak, issue had been fixed 4 times before it was completely resolved (apparently there is 6 ways to go about fixing it? Was told this by the mechanic) the truck drives smooth, I have the xl version so there’s plenty of room. The backup camera is in the rear view mirror which is convenient.

2011 GMC Yukon xl: an amazing family car.
We have absolutely loved our Yukon xl. It drives so smooth and fits our family of 6 perfectly. While being spacious enough for the family on a day to day basis, it is also great for road trips. The trunk space is so big and can fit several pieces of luggage. It definitely feels like a luxury high end vehicle.

Yukon xl for the camping win.
Our Yukon xl has leather seats, captain’s chairs in the second row, double screen DVD entertainment system, in-dash navigation system, a tow package, and we have added an electronic brake box for towing. We are able to tow a camper with this vehicle because of the 8200 lbs towing capacity. It is the perfect car for our family.

Great GMC Yukon truck for any family.
My vehicle has come out to be a very good truck needs very low maintenance. I only have done tune up, oil change and tire change. I have had no mechanical problems. Lots of room and it is very comfortable. Pretty good for big family. And great to travel in. Fits lots of people and travel luggage. I really highly recommend GMC Yukon.

Best family vehicle for an active family.
I love my yukon xl. We have a family of seven. It fits us all perfectly and allows us to put things in the back for storage. Vacations are so much more enjoyable having the room in the back for luggage, strollers, etc. We also own a camper and have been able to tow it with our yukon. We haven't had any mechanical or engine problems. We've owned the car 6 years and have made sure to service it regularly. The windows, electronic seats, seat warmers all still work properly. Hoping to get another 100,000 miles out of this vehicle.

Spacious for large families.
This vehicle is perfect size for my family of 6. My youngest has a huge car seat in the center console and there are still room two others in the middle seat. There are also room for another 3 comfortably but there are two seat belts. I also love the DVD screen that helps with long road trips. There is excellent room in the back of the truck for storage. Not to mention the ability to store more luggage or whatever you need to the top of the truck as well. The floor space is remarkable as well. You never feel cramped in the truck which is a plus.

Yukon’s are a great family vehicle.
It has been super reliable, family friendly vehicle. Maintenance has been minimal, just oil changes and other basic upkeep needed. Thankfully, there have been no expensive repairs in the three years I have owned my Yukon. There is plenty of space for three car seats on the middle bench, and seats to spare in the back row. The DVD player is an added bonus with young children! We've taken it on a few longer road trips and it worked great for us!

A GMC Yukon XL is a family car.
My GMC YUKON XL is great for a large family. It is also great to take road trips because we can all fit with all our luggage and anything extra we may need. Being an older car there are maintenance that you have to keep up with that a newer car may not need. With that being said, I would purchase a YUKON XL again.

This is a very reliable SUB
What I like about my SUV is that it has been very reliable and I have had no major problems. I has endured travel coast to coast, inclement weather; out of the seven vehicles I have purchased, this one by far has been the best. On to the improves, it does consume a great deal of gas and minor repairs tend to rack up. I have had to repair door handles, a mirror, seat cover, negative battery cable, and the most recent is a cracked dash. But I have never (so far) had to replace anything concerning the power train so that is a plus.

It is large family friendly!
I love how much room the Yukon has. I have three children and I have enough room to put all three car seats with the two rows in the back. The trunk however is very small with the third row. I would recommend this vehicle for large families. It is great to take on long vacations.

This is the car moms’ dreams are made of!
This is by far my favorite car I have ever owned. In addition to beautiful tan interior and diamond white exterior, it makes life so much easier for a mom of three kids. The bucket seats allow me to help my kiddos in the back seat as well as allows me extra room if I want to put adults in the back. The DVD player and pull down screen are wonderful for car rides, and we've never had any issues with it working. Another feature I love is the heated and cooled seats. I would say the most convenient feature is remote start or remote opening of the back hatch gate door. Overall, this car is wonderful for any family with a load of kids or anyone who likes a touch of luxury and lots of space.

Perfect vehicle for the on the go family!
Having trouble with the speakers and had some electrical issues but that was covered under the warranty other than that we love it the vehicle. Perfect room for 5 tall people with bags. We travel in hours on a regular basis with 3 kids and all their sports gear. Or a trip to the grocery store, it totally is a perfect family vehicle.

This is our wonderful family car.
Our vehicle is incredibly comfortable and classy looking. We love how the seats can be adjusted to be down or up - so that it can have lots of storage in just a minute! The best part about our vehicle is the legroom for our daughter in the back. When we go on road trips, she is always super comfortable which makes for an easy ride.

The body is my most favorite because it is "boxy" and I love that.
I honestly haven't had any issues with this vehicle. Extremely comfortable and reliable. A/c works perfectly and there is plenty of legroom for sure. Performance wise - great gas mileage and it definitely moves quickly. The body (box style) is my most favorite.

Pluses for owning a GMC Denali.
Good gas mileage. Lots of bells and whistles. Excellent in winter. Very comfortable for trip heated seats all around. Heated mirrors. Easy to access rear compartment but when seats are down there is not a flat surface unless you remove the seats. Backup camera with good view. Great sound system Bose CD player TV for rear seat passenger good sounds.

Yukon Denali interior highlights and tire issues.
Rims on the tires oxidize which makes tire lose air. I love the amount of room the xl gives for carrying all my sports equipment. Heated and cooling seats are amazing for seasonal weather. Heated steering wheel is great for the winter months. Having the option to turn controls for climate control over to the rear passengers is great!

I love all of the features of this vehicle. Power everything! DVD player, heated seats and steering wheel, remote start, lumbar support and so much more. The gas mileage is my only negative, but for a all wheel drive, larger vehicle it has the standard mileage.

2011 GMC Yukon xl personal review.
It has lots of room and is very dependable. I can drive it for many years. As long as you keep good tires on it, and have the oil changed on it when you are supposed to, it will last for a very long time. I normally drive mine over 150, 000 miles. My last one was 193, 000 miles.

It currently has 164,000 miles on it and I pray it goes another 100,000 miles at least. Other than replace tires at 60,000 miles, it didn't require any work until we hit about 120,000 miles. Since then, we have put on another set of tires, replaced ball bearings, and something with axle. It has been. Great car.

Yukon xl Denali review on small issues I have had. As well as the nice features.
Get cars with little issues as long as you maintain properly. Lots of room with lots of features such as heated and cooled seats, DVD system, third room seating, power outlets, etc. My Yukon tows my RV great as well. I would suggest getting aftermarket air bags of rear springs to prevent sag. I have had little to do issues and have close to 200k on my 2011 Yukon xl Denali. Buy used and save thousands. Only issue I have had is my air compressor went out that runs my air suspension. It was around $250 to replace. Also had a alternator out which was very easy to replace on my own and around $180 to replace.

7 seater SUV with comfortable leather seating, DVD player and heated seats.
This vehicle is super comfortable to drive and ride in. It can pull large trailers as well and campers. We also fit 3 children comfortably in this vehicle. 2 are rear facing children in car seats. The captain seats are the best way to go in you have small children who are rear facing and need to access the back row.

Very good 4x4 system like how it sits very high off the ground.
It is used lots of miles we are going to pay way too much to pay it off. Gets bad gas mileage for a small v8. Had to buy a new gas cap cause it didn't seal right started leaking air into the fuel line & putting air into the engine. The 18 inches tires are very expensive to buy & maintain.

Very dependable - only requires regular maintenance. It has room to travel with my family comfortably, and the seats can either be lowered or removed completely to be able to haul large items. I wish it got better gas mileage (about 15 mpg) but it does what I need it to do so I can live with that.

The interior dome lights on passenger side flicker like strobe lights. Also rear panel passenger control panel has very dim lights and cannot read most of the time. Engine light repeatedly comes on but no issues are reported by mechanic when being serviced. Also when using phone via uconnect, ac briefly turns off.

Gas mileage not great but gas is cheap now. Very comfortable. Live the heated seats. Has been a great vehicle. Looks nice after 9 years. It has been a great family car. Good for carpooling. No real problems until 120,000 miles and that was just maintenance issues.

Amazing spacious reliable vehicle.
Some wear and tear happened that is a concern.. The door handles are likely to fall off.. The engine mount went out a few times.. The automatic footsteps do not come out no more. Other than that I love the way it drives the room in the technology is amazing.. The gas of course is crazy but it is a big truck so expected.

Excellent large vehicle with tons of extra features.
I really want to love this car, it is been a great car. It has tons of space, the captains chairs in the back allow for my kids to have space when we road trip. However, I really hope they find a hybrid, electric or PHEV option. Currently GMC is being outpaced in that department by other card manufacturers.

Fully loaded Yukon xl Denali.
This vehicle does it all! Fully loaded, reliable, fun to drive, comfortable, and has it all. It can fit all 4 of my kids, husband, and two dogs comfortably while still has room in the trunk. Stylish vehicle with room to breath!
For the most part I love my Yukon xl. I have had some issues with the air suspension and right now with the fuse box to the radio but my husband has figured out the problems and has fixed them. I love the trim! The kids have the TVs in the back and there is enough room for the kids that they do not have to be on top of each other with is nice.

I love the ease of driving this vehicle. It has a rear view camera for backing up and a navigation system to make directions easy to follow. One of the cons though would include an easily cracked dash cover. I really enjoy the heated seats in winter and cooled seats during summer. There's a DVD player that makes trips with kids a lot easier as well.

Large SUV, seats and holds many people, with very minimal storage space.
It burns gas so quickly! Great for a large family or large groups! Not a lot of storage room though! It has a great performance and is a hefty car! It lasts a while, and will not breakdown on you! Repairs are a bit pricey! Very reliable and comfortable. Main problem is the alignment gets knocked out very easily!

The pros and cons of a full size SUV.
I love the large interior space; however, it is just a very large vehicle in general and I would like to change to a midsize SUV in the future. The Yukon does have excellent cargo space though and is nice when traveling with our family of six! V8 runs great but is not overly fuel efficient. Great resale and trade in value as well.

Good for trips if you have enough money to pay for the gas, a little too big to back up. But it has space for everything you'll need including the ability to take out the two back seat to make extra cargo space. Would recommend if you have a big family.

I love the ac and heated seats. I love the heated steering wheel, even in the summer. I love the personal settings for your seat, allowing with just a touch of a button you to be in the perfect position to drive. I love the third row and overall size. I specifically love the second row bucket seats, makes it easier to access the third row. I dislike the trunk space because it is too small. The vehicle itself is a slight gas hog. I have a sunroof, which I have never had a sunroof before and I don't quite understand it is purpose.

Comfortable, spacious and reliable.
My Yukon has been very reliable considering the age of it. The transmission had to be rebuilt a few months ago, however. It is very comfortable and spacious for long trips. The cargo room in the back is great for camping equipment, pets, luggage, etc. We have taken several long distance trips in it with 7-8 people and it was very comfortable. I would buy this make and model again and I probably will in the next few months to a year.

How amazing is my Yukon is!
My car drives smooth. Has a lot of storage. With the 3rd row up I still have a huge trunk. Great for going on vacation. Also I have DVD player which helps out a lot too. Bluetooth radio and a navigation system as well. Back up camera. Heated seats both the driver, passenger and the back seats. My mirrors lights up when someone is in my blind spot. Overall I couldn’t ask for a better vehicle.

GMC Yukon Denali is not all it's cracked up to be.
Burns alot of oil & uses alotta gas but is very spacious. Doesn't have a lot of power like it should. The interior is not very durable & the leather wore out rather quickly but it is very uncomfortable. Replacement tires r very expensive. It is fairly easy to work on because of its size.

Yukon sle great for families.
My Yukon is perfect for our growing family. We have 2 teenage daughters and use the 3rd row often to haul their friends around. The 3rd row is easy to remove if we need the extra space in the back. Though we do not use it often anymore it has a DVD player which is perfect for long trips. The leather seats are easily cleaned for when kids make messes. It has remote start and heated seats which are amazing in the winter.

Overall a good vehicle for a luxury SUV.
I love my Denali, it has tons of room for passengers and has not had any major issues. The cargo area is very small if you have the back seats in use though. The repairs for minor issues is also a bit pricey. The drive is great though and it handles well in the snow.

Awesome truck with great sound system.
It functions very well and has a great sound system inside. It has a rear view camera in the rearview mirror and several other great features. I would recommend a vehicle like this to anyone with a rather large family as it can accommodate children very well.

Comfortable performance for up to 8 passengers. Some reliability issues.
Vehicle is extremely comfortable with leather seating. Comfortably seats 8 passengers. Heated seats and steering wheel work well. Cooled seats are not the best, could use improvement. Performance is good. Very good acceleration and handling for a full size SUV. Unfortunately does not have Bluetooth music capability, GPS system is outdated. Sunroof and DVD system work well, but does not play blu ray movies. Some electrical issues within the stabilitrak, traction control, and abs systems. Outside door handles are junk and break very easily.

Best family and fun SUV available.
Great SUV! I have six children and work as ski instructor in the winter time. It hauls my kids where they need to go and gets me to work safely. I love that we can pull a boat or snowmobiles. The middle row seats flip down to make it easier for the kids in the back to climb out. I love the rear camera to help with backing up.

2011 GMC Yukon is awesome!
I love my GMC sierra. Great a/c, rides great, very spacious. My kids enjoy the DVD entertainment system. Sound system is great. Only issue I have is (as with other similar models) that the dash plastic has cracked near the windshield. Otherwise, the vehicle is perfect, aside from meh gas-mileage.

GMC yukon new or used are worth every penny you spend to buy them!
Other than an aftermarket sunroof, installed by previous owner, the Yukon runs incredibly. It does not have tons of bells and whistles, but it is comfortable and wears like iron even with cloth seats. The Bose sound system is incredible and all of the controls are easy to use.

The space is great for a family. The dash in the car is known for cracking due to the weight of the speaker in the middle. I love the automatic lift gate. The bucket seats are ideal for us and there is even a DVD player in the back for our children to watch movies while we are on the road.

2011 GMC Yukon SLT is a good car. There are some design problems.
The air conditioner broke after having to jump the car due to a dead battery. Two of the door handles broke making it impossible to get in from the outside. The ride is very comfortable. For the size, it gets very good mileage on the Interstate and in the city.

I like that it is big and can carry my family and everything we need. I like that it is reliable. I don't like that it doesn't feel as spacious on the inside as you would think it should. I do not like that little things break, it does not hold up as well, not things having to do with how it runs, but things like seats and levers and buttons.
This is a great car for taking your family on a vacation. It can hold everything and everyone. And tow a trailer too.

If you are going to get one, make sure the 2nd row has captain seats.

Great spacious family vehicle
We bought this vehicle used about 7 years ago. It has given us minimal problems. It's spacious so it's a great for big families. I believe it fits 8 people. It has been a great car for trips as you can fit lots in there. It is the car we use for all of our family road trips and vacations so it has lots of miles on it and is still running hard

Great vehicle for its capacity and ride.
Very comfortable ride for a truck. Large amount of luggage space even with the third row seat in up position. Reliability has been very good. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Love the four wheel drive system. It's a great riding vehicle on the highway.

The back seats come in and out to create room for seating or storage for a road trip

That it rides great that's about it. Nothing else, it looks good and rides good.
I like the the thing that it does, i don't like the gas mileage. I like the way that it works and runs but that's it and nothing else i can think of.

A Yukon is versatile and convenient especially if you have children
I love all of the features of my Yukon. It is very comfortable to ride on long trips. For a SUV it gets pretty decent gas mileage

Awesome leather and heated seats like a luxury vehicle. Nice trim. Very reliable.
The car is very reliable with only a few times having problems to start in years. Looks great and has awesome leather and heated seats. Real head turner that will definitely get you from point a to point b. Also a pretty powerful SUV as well. Can haul a boat or camper with no problem.

My Denali has been my rock over the years!
I love my Denali and use every inch of it with my kids, friends and all of their sporting gear. It has run beautifully till this last year and now it is age is starting to show. The motors for the side mirrors stopped working and I have and a couple of engine issues but they were repaired easily and having had an issue since. I would definitely buy this car again.

This car has a lot of features that make small trips or long journeys comfortable.
I like that my vehicle can fit my family of 5 comfortable (along with grandparents) for quick trips around town or vacations. I enjoy the safety features that come with OnStar. Because my children sit in the back, the captains chairs in the middle row come in handy. I am short (5'1) so the adjustable foot pedals are a real plus so that I do not have to sit so close to the steering wheel.

I make an average of 12ltr/100km nd my best result was 10ltr/100km, I am very satisfied. My yukon is now at 240,000 km and still running strong with just regular maintenance.

Love the front and rear seat warmers.
Love the dual heating and air. Seat warmers as well as coolers are a plus! My kids love their own captain chairs and DVD player. I like that I can take out or add a third row. I feel safe driving this vehicle with my children. I wish it came with FM radio.

Smooth cool relaxing ride.
My favorite thing about the this vehicle is how smooth it drives and how easy it is to handle. It is very spacious for passengers and cargo. Comes in great selection of colors I chose smokey gray got mine it also has climate control and a rear view mirror with a backup camera.

Fits 9 people well. Runs great, but guzzles gas like it is going to be its last.
I wish the trim was bigger and the back windows rolled down. It runs well, and seats 9 which is super nice, but it definitely is a gas hog. The seats are pretty comfortable and the seats in the back all come out for transporting large objects. I do like that it has seat belts for 9 people.

Love my vehicle! Rides like luxury but is a beast on the road!
I love that is it's a big vehicle that can fit a growing family. Also that it is 4 wheel drive for driving through snow or mud. The truck rides like a luxury vehicle but the inside is not as up to date as the newer models. Which is to be expected. Well worth the purchase!

Excellent space and ride for those looking to travel in car with family.
It is the perfect car for those that need the bigger space. The option of either having the third row seats down or up allow for me to better utilize the space as needed. The third row seats are also very comfortable to ride in and are easy to flip down as down needed. The captains chairs in the second row allow for the car seats to be installed and people still to be able to access the third row instead of climbing through the tailgate. The features on the car are great and it handles very well for long car rides, providing comfort for everyone in the car and plenty of space for cargo as well. It has surprised me with the gas mileage on freeway, it was much better than I anticipated for that size car.

There is an icon that goes off when do for an oil change.
Love the size and comfort of it. Kids love the DVD. Plenty of cargo space.. It drives smooth and has great pickup. We have the and love the way it sounds.

The vehicle is flex fuel.
I love chat my vehicle is a 3 row seater. It is spacious in the trunk as well. Remove key start is awesome. Hi-tech radio display and surround DVD system. Cng compatible. The only thing I do not like is the cng tanks being so close to ground it needs to be lifted.

Drive. Outstanding vehicle to drive.
I purchased vehicles with 30,000 miles, now over 108,000. Good performance, drives exceptionally well. Easy to maintained; good on mileage. I have enjoyed the ride, comfort, and features. It has plenty of room; drives outstanding on the interstate.

Many great features in the Yukon slt.
The Yukon has a lot of room on the interior. There are third row seats so the vehicle holds up to 8 people. Third row can be removed to make more cargo room. It has heated seats in the first and second rows that warm up quickly in the winter months as well as dual climate control and separate climate control for the back of the vehicle. There are two programmable setting for the driver's seat that allow quick transitions between drivers. The Yukon is equipped with four wheel drive for easy driving in snowy and icy conditions. The seats are much more comfortable than the new brands of SUVs, especially the suburbans or ford expedition which both have very hard seats. The automatic back door hatch makes for easy hands free opening when you have bags of groceries or luggage to load into the vehicle as well. There are many features in the Yukon that make it a worthwhile vehicle to purchase.

I like the design of it and how big it is. The radio system likes to mess up every now and then. Overall it is a nice size for me since I like to travel.
This car is very big and if you're not used to driving bigger cars then maybe you should get something smaller.
