Hyundai Santa fe has proven to be a dependable car

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I bought my car used and have had it over 3 years. I put on about 50,000 miles before I had to make any repairs. Nothing major has gone wrong it's been a very dependable car for my family. We drove it to move to Florida from RI 1,400 miles with no problems. I have moved large items with it like a couch and a treadmill. The back seats fold down to allow tons of room to fix things in which has come in handy many times. When it comes time for a newer car I'll be looking at another Hyundai since I've had good luck with this one. I was rear-ended in it and no one was seriously hurt and we got hit pretty hard the other car was half way under us. I keep up with the oil changes and tires and in the time I've had it I finally had to replace the battery and was shocked to find out it was the original factory batter from 2005 still there. The car seems to be made with quality parts as they have lasted and now as I'm making some replacements I'm finding out they are all original parts so this means that the car has run smooth without repairs since 2005 and now only due to its age is now starting to need some things fixed but I must say I have never been stranded the problems were always gradual and obvious but I was always able to still drive it until it got repaired.

The Hyundai Santa Fe: worth a second look.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I bought my car used in 2007, and it has been completely reliable the entire time. I have had to replace the battery twice and the tires twice in the 11 years I have had it. Since it is an older model, I have to use a Bluetooth for GPS, so I am ready to get a new car so I can have factory GPS. Mine has a sunroof, and I was told by friends that it would probably leak after a while because the rubber molding seal would dry up and deteriorate. This has not been the case at all. I have had no problems with the sunroof. The power locks all continue to work perfectly, so does the air conditioner, heater, radio, CD player, cruise control, etc.. I even have a lighted drivers side mirror that has never had to be fixed or the bulb to be replaced. I looked into other makes and models, but through talking with friends and family, I discovered most luxury models are not only expensive to purchase, but also expensive to fix every time you have to take it to the shop. Since I have had such few issues with my Santa Fe, I haven't had to worry about how much the parts cost to replace or repair. I have been very happy with this car, and will look into purchasing another Santa Fe when I go to purchase a new one.

It was a great choice of purchase.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

There is no problem with my vehicle, it runs great, good gas mileage. Only normal maintenance is required as necessary such as changing motor oil, changing the spark plugs and wires and the battery. And of course always check your fluids such as, brake fluid, motor oil, power steering and transmission oil. Having good tires is always a plus, makes the vehicle drive like bra and new! Its has been very reliable without leaving me stranded, thank god!! I am comfortable driving my vehicle and no one has complained about being uncomfortable while being a passenger. Features are good but with a all the updated choices now, I can use the updates.

- Robin S

It feels like a luxury vehicle without the luxury price tag.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe has been very reliable for me. It has just enough get up and go to navigate traffic easily. The ride could be a little smoother as could be the cabin noise. It is quite roomy and the seats fold down to give you access for moving large objects. I get around 18-21 miles in town driving and 22-28 on the highway. The heated seats are a nice added feature as is the electric controls on the driver's seat to get you just the right position. The only mechanical problem I had was the starter/battery went out, but that is typical maintenance. Overall I recommend as this vehicle is well built and dependable.

Reliable road trip companion

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My car, for the most part, has been extremely reliable. I have been driving it for over ten years and have taken all over the US. It handled multiple 15 hours trips a year and a road trip from New York to California. My car can easily tackle the hills of San Francisco. During a time when I was not driving the car often, it ran into a few problems. But once I started using it weekly again ( city driver, only need it for weekends) it has been great since. Over the time the paint has peeled away but most everything else is in good shape. I love my car and will be driving it until it won't let me anymore.

- Devon B

The interesting part about my car is the way it looks in the front.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I have had my car for 7 months now and in the first 5 months I had little to zero issues. I had to fix my AC unit, replace the belts, and change out my gas filter. I bought it used with 2 previous owners, who seemed to have taken pretty good care of it. Now, 7 months in to having my car it has broken down on the side of the highway after driving 12 hours. Pretty reasonable but I am still having a few issues with my car. It tends to be very laggy at times and feels as though it's having a hard time running. Overall, my car is pretty reliable considering its age and how many owners it has had.

- Audrey S

My 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Been a great SUV.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My car has been quite reliable. The storage is great. It's easy to fold the seats down to carry more. I buy a lot at the home depot, and it's just enough room, without being an obnoxiously huge vehicle, to fit all my items, and get me home. It did have a bunch of stuff in repairs needed about 4 years ago. It was all stuff that breaks down normally over time, but they all happened to go at one... the battery, tires, timing belt was close to a hundred thousand miles, and remembered I should preventively, get it changed out.

I love our Santa Fe! We love the great gas mileage it gets!

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I love the Santa Fe! It has gets really good gas mileage, easy upkeep, drives very well. Good to take on trips. Very comfortable as my husband is 6'5 and he has no problems fitting in and sitting in the seats. I like how it goes very well in the snow. We bought this one used and it the previous owners took pride in taking care of it. We have owned a total of 3 Santa Fe models, so it goes without saying that we like this brand and have enjoyed the others we owned.

Good acceleration and control

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe Base

The Hyundai Santa Fe performs well with good acceleration and handling. The vehicle has so far been reliable, except a few issues with tire pressure. Although I don't know if that can be attributed to the car itself. One time the windshield wiper fluid mechanism malfunctioned. Other than these minor issues, the car has been extremely comfortable and reliable. I appreciate the ability to transport my friends and carry a decent amount of things in the back.

- Mackenzie N

Very reliable and non problematic car

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

The car is very reliable and has had little to no problems since we have gotten it from my mother in law. It handles really nicely and does well on many terrains, including mountain roads and the snow. The only problem we have had is a noise coming from the engine but a mechanic has checked it out and said nothing was wrong with it. The gas mileage is about average, we don't do a whole lot of driving so it has been great for us

- Donna B

Expensive upkeep. But gas efficient.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I got the car used but haven't had any serious issues. It's been dependable. On the down side most parts are expensive and what has needed replaced has been seriously expensive. The a/c compressor. The windshield wipers 3 different sizes. The battery and headlights are a pain to replace only because where they are set under the casing. It hasn't left me stranded ever. Comfortable ride with plenty of room.

- Charlotte H

The Santa Fe is a wonderful family vehicle that will fit your many needs!

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

Very reliable. Only issue I have noticed with Hyundai's is the belt squeals often, even after being replaced. It is extremely comfortable and has quite a bit of room. I love that it has a 6 disc CD player, along with cruise control, ac, power windows, sunroof and moonroof. It is all time four wheel drive, and is wonderful in the snow. It is decent on gas for being an SUV. Runs and rides smooth.

- Alyssa C

Dependable for a single person or for family use.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

This car has been reliable for short trips as well as travel. The gas mileage is fair. Would say that is the only downside. It is a comfortable car to sit in. That is important if you suffer from back pain. The warranty can't be beat. Had one or two issues which was covered under the extended warranty. Other than that only regular maintenance issues. Will buy another in the future.

- Kathy B

It has a good engine that is for sure and it picks up speed well for a SUV/wagon.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It makes a lot of odd sounds and noises and my steering screeches which I hear often coming from this model car. But it gets you were you got to go the seats are soft the I have a 5 family household and it is just enough room for us only the trunk is spacious. It has a radio with a tape player but no CD drive or AUX port which would be nice but all in all she drives.

- Kira G

My car. Luggage rack, very roomy, super smooth on the road

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe LX

I have been driving my car for 15 years it has made many road trips I am very happy with the gas Mileage. It is very comfortable, I love the SUV part I can haul anything I want the cruise is very convenient. I always felt that with sedans you have to crawl in and out SUV's you just step in and out. Best of all it has over 15000 miles and no repairs have been needed

- Gloria K

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe, reliable for age.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe LX

Although the car is older it still drives great. The frame is pretty rusted through. The seats are leather and heated. It is comfortable to ride in and drives smooth. Lots of room in the trunk/ back hatch. Reliable vehicle, but does have random things going now due to age. Recently had a leak in gas tank, needed exhaust work and replaced a leaf spring.

- Kate S

Turning radius, and special features

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I have made sure I keep up with routine maintenance, oil change, tire rotation ect. I wish I got a bit better gas mileage but it's an SUV so I don't expect 40 mpg. I love the fact it can turn on a dime. You can unlock all the doors from the passenger side. You can roll up the windows after the car is shut off as long as no one opens any of the doors

- Heather A

It has great mileage and has been in my family for twelve years.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The car has great mileage, I am looking for a new car now because this car has been in my family for years and the car now has almost three hundred thousand miles on it. My family and I took this car on trips throughout the united states and went to Maryland and Illinois. I currently drive this car everyday to college and sometimes road trips.

- Gabrielle A

Four wheel drive all the time!

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My vehicle is a dream! It drives good, has great pick up and it runs through anything I love my vehicle. The cons are it's a v6, and gas is crazy! But the parts are cheap and it is a gem. I can do all the upkeep myself, as well as the maintenance. The price range for a brand new one is unforeseen but I'd pay it! Hyundai is a reliable company.

- Stacy C

Hyundai Santa Fe ups and downs.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Fuel consumption is good. A full tank lasts me ten days and I commute 27 miles to work. Rides really nice and is good for a small family. The fuel injectors like to stick open. It has glitch in the engine that turns off the traction control every time I go over 50 miles an hour. It turns back on when I slow to stop but the brakes catch then.

- Lisa C

Hyundai Santa Fe is ok by me.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Vehicle is a nice size for a small family (2 parents/2 small children). Has enough room for luggage for everyone and back seats fold down so that larger objects can be moved with it. Decent gas mileage in town and on highway. My traction control likes to switch itself off and doesn't re-engage until I am coming to a stop.

- Lisa C

I think the detail is the mount on top I've hauled a lot of things on it.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

No problems other than the ac keeps going out due to a fan issue its reliable and drives great it's also very comfortable to ride in on long car trips I love it. It's pretty sporty to look at to and is a white vehicle and looks clean and trim. I think it's also really good on space when getting groceries or hauling trash

- Bailey H

Great car for the money worth the investment.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

The only problem is that it rides a little like a truck. The reliability is excellent. It's very comfortable. I never regret the purchase of this vehicle. My only suggestions would be to spring for upgrades. It's definitely worth it. The leg room on the passenger side could be more. The back seats too are a bit cramped.

- Ann L

2005 Silver Hyundai Santa Fe.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My air conditioning went out a couple of years ago (about 2 years ago), and it was pretty expensive to fix. My car also had to get fixed twice within the past two months for exhaust and speed sensor problems. Spent about 1700 to repair everything. The gas is pretty pricey as well, but that's to be expected.

- KC N

My Santa was the best Christmas surprise. 2005 and people think it's a new year.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The vehicle drives wonderful when it has a full tank. The interior is open and spacious. The power locks and seat belts have a tendency to stick. The air circulation is poor. Overall it's a great vehicle and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. I would definitely buy another Hyundai Santa Fe.

- Nina W

Hyundai is a wonderful car.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Right before 100, 000 miles the transmission had to be replaced. It was still under warranty. The dealership was horrible to deal with, but the company was very helpful. Check your dealership's record before you buy. No problems, it drives well, steers well, very comfortable and roomy. Love it.

- Joyce D

very easy to drive, not real small or to big can put things in the back instead of the back seat, saving the back seat for people

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

my car is a good size for me, can put things in the back instead of of the back seat, its very reliable air bag light comes on and stays on.very comfortable. I can't think of any reason not to buy one.a solid car and doesn't use a lot of gas easy to adjust the seat.good for a family of 4 or 5

- sharon m

Very reliable and safe SUV.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Great little SUV, plenty of room, not the greatest on mpg but decent. Gets up to speed quick. I have owned this SUV for 5 years, and have not had any problems at all with the motor, breaks, or rust. This is a very reliable vehicle. I wish it was four wheel drive but it does great in the snow.

- Pamela M

Hyundai Santa Fe is a very undependable car.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The car does not drive nicely, the gas and brake are both very touchy. The gas tank had a leak. Also, the gas mileage is not the greatest. It is one of the worst cars, I have ever drove. The only thing I like about the car, is that it is all wheel drive which is really nice in the winter.

- Alexis K

The engine and transmission are great! Hyundai makes the best and reliable cars!

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I am 6ft tall, so for a mid size truck I still feel cramped while driving at times. There are no vents in the back of the truck to circulate air or heat for the backseat riders, they get the bare minimum. But, overall it's a good truck. I bought it used and haven't had any major problems.

- Mary K

I have had this vehicle for 15 years.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

This car has been very reliable for the past 15 years but I have issues with the gas line and air conditioning. Problems starting after filling with gas, and interior is getting worn down. Hyundai last long but only if properly maintained. Tires and brake pads must be changed regularly.

- Patricia O

Tall people will not be comfortable driving my car.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My car seats five. It drives well. Its an automatic. My husband is very tall so his head rubs the inside roof. He has long legs and the seat does not go far enough back for his comfort. The cruise control also does not work properly. It does have a lot of storage in the back.

- Rachel C

Hyundai with over 100, 000 miles has plenty of room.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I bought it used. I really haven't had any problems with it. My next one will have more comfortable seats. But it runs great. Have no doubt that I can go out now and it will start right up. It is a 6 cylinder so really has the get up and go. It also gets good gas mileage.

- Bonnie M

I bought the car used with trepidation but it has turned out to be a wonderful investment. I have 120,000 mileage and will probably get a lot more. I give it TLC

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is comfortable to drive. I get good gas mileage. It holds at least 5 more people and if I use for a trip it hold a lot of luggage and/or lots of groceries I have no complaints, I will probably look for this make of automobile the next time I am looking for an auto

- ilene E

Avoid buying...lots of small annoying issues. Spend your money elsewhere.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I dislike the high center of gravity on our twisty mountain roads. Gas mileage is not good. Little, things that cost a lot to fix have broken. The car does not want to start after filling it up with gas, when it is hot it diesels a lot, and it is not the safest vehicle.

- Eve A

The all-weather Santa-fe; a companion for everyday.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa-fe has good power with great acceleration. The lift hatch is great as it provides cover when it is raining. There are accessories inside which I haven't even explored yet! It is a great vehicle to have when the snow plow plows you in - just accelerate and go!

- Kate Y

Great car, in the snow and normal everyday driving.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It is a very reliable SUV barley gives me problems outside of normal wear and tear. It has 190,000 miles on it and still goes great. Only have had tune ups and brakes and the shocks done. It did have a recall but I guess the dealers will fix that with a phone call.

- Candy L

The longevity of my car has been the most important part of owning the vehicle.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It has been a great car to own and use. My car is 13 years old and has over 140K miles on it. The overall repairs have been substantially low, especially before the 100K mile marker. I have nothing to complain about my car considering how far it has held up.

- Jarod S

It's very reliable and I feel very safe while driving, whether it's in the city or on the highway.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My Santa Fe has served me well for the past 13 years. Other than the recommended maintenance, I didn't have to do any major repairs. I opted for the basic model so I don't have many features but it was more than enough to keep me safe and sound all these years.

- Alicia P

I do not think it is made to the same quality level as a Honda or Toyota. The issues are persistent and difficult to fix.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like the fact that it is a taller vehicle which makes it easier for me to see. It needs work though as it diesels, hates running in hot weather and very much does not like to start after a fill up! The paint job is terrible. The backseats are not comfortable.

- Amma S

Its just a all around good reliable vehicle

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe LX

The car is a great car, really no major issues, except for the usually wear and tear on a car. There was one issue with the electronic middle console, it gives n.e.s.w never worked, went back 3 times to have it replaced, which they did but still never worked

- Mary P

Good gas saver, runs smoothly. Had a very much space and radio is good.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe LX

My car has been the best since I bought it. It's a good saver on gas and has all I need. I am very love my vehicle. I would recommend anyone to get a car like this. I runs very smoothly and I have no issue. Plus a very good radio, beautiful sound I love it..

- Mat A

05 Hyundai Santa Fe Longevity

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It has over 170,000 miles on it. I've had to replace quite a few pulleys and belts in the last five years. The engine and transmission have been really good, but it is starting to get to the age where it's costing me more to keep it running than it's worth.

- James R

The back end has a nice pullover to cover items you don't want outsiders to see.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My Santa Fe is a good vehicle. I like that the middle seat can fold down by two separate ways leaving room for one side to be left up for available seating. The extra media outlets have been useful to plugin and recharge our cell phones and tablets.

- Katrina G

but I bought the car before I met him

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is a v6 but does not have much get up and go. I really like everything else about it. The repairs are not really expensive either. Of course it helps having an as mechanic for a son too. My husband is 6'2" and has a bit of a hard time getting in

- Angela Y

Overall is a Great Vehicle

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Overall performance is great. The only issue is a crankshaft sensor that can cause the vehicle to shut down while starting to drive. Usually happens when it has rained a lot prior to driving. Comfortable lumbar on drivers side.

- Caurie P

some complications have come up. I replaced all the brakes and rotors

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My 2005 Hyundai Santa-fe has been an excellent vehicle to own and get me through my travels. It has held up quite nicely for the 141k miles I have driven it up to. As for any car with this amount of miles and the age

- Jared S

The paint didn't last, make them put a clear coat paint on before you purchase a new one.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

After 5 years the air conditioner stopped working, I had to replace the condenser. That only lasted another 3 years. I expect the air to last longer. Otherwise, I have no problem with the cars performance.

- Marilyn L

Very little headspace and it is definitely not a car for tall people.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is a very small SUV in terms of interior space. I am 5’4 and I drive with the seat all the way back. It is very uncomfortable for anyone over 5’10 to be in my car. Part of this is due to the sun roof.

- Ad S

It is durable - lasts a long time.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My Santa Fe is 13 years old and is still in good condition. I have had very few repairs done on it. I still drive it to the store and back and to my relatives homes and back. I am very satisfied with it.

- Doreen C

It doesn't get particularly great gas mileage and has high maintenance costs.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is an all right vehicle though it is somewhat expensive to keep running. I like its compact size most of the time, and its roominess. I'm not too pleased with how much maintenance it requires.

- Steven M

Hyundai are dependable cars, I have had mine for six years and have experienced only minor problems in all that time.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like that its fuel efficient, dependable, sporty looking, and is easy to drive and park. I wish that it had better get up and go and that it was easier for a DIY to perform basic maintenance

- John B

Great on gas spacious reliable 4wd

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like that it's good on gas spacious has great air. I just got mine in March but I love it so far. Mine has 4wd and is super clean inside and out. I don't like the way the back seat belts are

- Kayla B

It pulls to the left a bit.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like how smooth my car drives. I do not like the noise the power steering makes. I do not like the fact that my driver side window no longer works. I like the size and shape of my vehicle.

- Kari V

This car is excellent to drive in the winter time.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My vehicle has been very reliable. It only needs its regular maintenance and nothing else. It has not broken down on me even once. Next time I need a vehicle it will be another Hyundai.

- Mary M

That it offers a comfortable environment and gas mileage

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I love that it saves me gas but I hate that the seats are so stiff I love how the air conditioner is excellent as well as the heater but there is not enough room for my whole family

- Laura F

No worries here. This little SUV has plenty of power, and gets great gas mileage.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Excellent condition with 165000 miles. 4 wheel drive with tow package. Probably one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Will definitely get another one.

- Kevin F

It may need a lot of maintenance throughout the years.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like that it has been durable over the past 13 years. However, it has needed maintenance on it several times and often they need special tools which results in it taking longer.

- A O

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is an older model. i like the size and interior i wish it had better radio and seat warmers. also the seats do not move back and front far enough. it's an ok vehicle.

- annette m

Due to age, a lot of leaks have happened such as the power steering fluid or the engine coolant, but outside of that, it's fine.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

4 door small SUV. My car is older, but I enjoy its height and engine power and the storage it has. The gas mileage is low compared to my old standard cars, but it's okay.

- Ivette N

This car functions properly and with proper maintenance will run for a long time.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I don't like that it sits too tall and is top heavy. I like that it's got larger space to transport up to 5 people. I like the large rear area for storage on road trips.

- Todd F

I love the 4 wheel drive!

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I really love this car for the most part. It is very reliable and has not given me many problems. The 4 wheel drive has been a life saver especially during the winter.

- Sidney H

It's good silver and big. And it was made in 2011.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I love the power of the vehicle. I love that it is all wheel drive and has 4 doors. I don't like how old it is or that my check engine light won't go away.

- Erin W

Nice priced mid-size SUV for families or single adults.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My vehicle is great because it is big enough to haul stuff. Unfortunately it does not have 4 wheel drive. It has had a few problems with the gear shift.

- Amy O

It can have a problem with the doors not locking or with the AC going out.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is smooth to drive. The only problem is that there are some mechanical problems such as the AC going out and constant air coming out of the tires.

- Melissa J

Hyundai Santa Fe oldie but goodie.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I find the car runs really good for an older vehicle. It does need some work, due to its age but works very well and does not cost a lot to maintain.

- Kirsten O

It makes a loud cracking sound when you turn and stalls when it idles too long.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

My car fits me, with the way it's designed on the inside. There are several issues with the car I need to fix and that is what I dislike about it.

- Katie B

It's a great car but when it needs work it cost more than American made cars.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I have had it a long time it is just now starting to wear out. I may not be able to take it out of town now but still not ready to get rid of it.

- Patsy G

Very Reliable and Comfortable, Easy to Drive Nice Looking.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

We have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. It has been the best car we have ever own. No major problems in all that time just regular upkeep. We love it.

- Jean E

It does have good air conditioning. I will not buy another.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I bought it used and I really do not like it. It is small and does not haul a lot. The interior is cramped even for a short person like myself.

- Mari S

That when everything is working good, then we are good to go, but it could be fine one minute next not.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like that it has a lot of space, and roomy. What i dislike is that it is not good on gas, and it is a older car so things begin to break.

- Molly w

It is very reliable and it is extremely easy to drive and maneuver.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Has lasted 13 yrs. With 300,000 + miles without any major problems comfortable.. Great gas mileage handles great has been reliable.

- Mary Ann M

Has been an excellent car.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

Fantastic for the age. Never a problem. needs dual heat/air control. Rear and front seats need better comfort. Great motor/engine.

- Laura B

That it's very good & thrifty, cute & energy-conscious.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The car runs well for the model year and mileage. The fuel economy is not as high as I would like. I like the size of the vehicle.

- Stephanie M

It is cheap and stable. Can go on long drives without causing much maintenance issues.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The mileage is pretty low. But it is a stable car with plenty of room in the trunk. Does not speed a lot. And takes a lot of gas.

- Sonya S

It has a great engine and very few miles.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I like my car hadn't fail me so far.. No complaints this far, I have had for a while.. It's been pretty reliable and dependable..

- Cat S

Repairs are a nightmare to do rack a lot of mechanic hours.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

I love the size but I do not like the way the gas pedal accelerates. I do not like the how on top of each wheel well has rusted.

- Monica R

I love this brand. It has given me great service, only had to do maintain on it.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

It is mind. My husband paid cash for it. I love the way I can see in it. I love the space in it. I love everything about it.

- Peggy B

Ac needs to blow harder when on high.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The paint came off easily within the first 10 years. Ac compressor gave out. The cooling sometimes takes awhile to cool up.

- Jessica S

I would love to own another one of these.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe
