Very spacious cargo area.
This vehicle drives very well. There’s a lot of room in the car. It seats six comfortably but can seat seven. When you lay down the back seats there’s a ton of cargo space which is something I always look for in a car. I have loaded that thing from front to back top to bottom many times. The third row is a little tight but manageable.

The memories I made on my Mazda 5.
The vehicle is generally smooth, and a good ride. For the first four years, it worked perfectly, but more recently it has broken down a few times. Would definitely recommend this car, especially for learning how to drive on. I got my car second-hand, but it was still in pristine condition.

It is very reliable and a wonderful family car. Also it is very low maintenance and great on gas.
I love that my vehicle has enough room for my entire family and shopping bags. It is very comfortable seating and leg space for everyone. The only things I dislike about my car is I wish there was a Bluetooth connection and it had leather seatings or dark colored cloth seating.

A great deal in sleek designs.
It is a great deal for the cost. Great gas mileage and very comfortable seating. It is sleek in design and I haven’t encountered any problems outside of regular wear and tear. I’d definitely recommend this to a first time car owner. Used Mazdas work just as great as new ones and they have a great car life.

An interesting detail of the Mazda 5 is that the seats are removable.
My Mazda 5 is the perfect family car! The seats are removable and there are many options for hauling large items. This is the perfect car for a growing family, and for shuttling my kids and their friends to various activities. The car is comfortable for long trips, and reliable.

The Mazda rides so smoothly on the highway, you will not want to stop!
The performance of the Mazda 5 sport is a smooth experience. The Mazda fits six people and consists of lots of legroom. A full tank will last up to a week depending on how much commuting you do. Not much maintenance needed since the car was leased, and an oil change goes a long way!

Amazing car with lots of room and great mileage.
This vehicle is amazing. It fits my family of six comfortably. It has air conditioning in both the front and back of the car making it nice for long rides with lots of people. The stereo system is very powerful. It gets amazing gas mileage. The extra storage that is available under the seats is very helpful. The only problem I have had is that the back hatch does not like to open from the outside. This vehicle has yet to let me down through.

Efficient and low maintenance.
I love my Mazda 5. I have had no problems with this care in the 7 years I have owned it. It is a crossover and seats 6. Perfect for my needs and is gas efficient. It is also cute! It is great for hauling as it has a lot of space when the seats are down. It could use some redesign because there is no place to put my phone.

As a passenger there is a very closed feeling.
Too small inside, feels cramped. Very closed in. When third seat is up no storage space.

Good alternative to a big minivan.
It is small and the has no pickup. The trim is ugly and there is not a lot of room. I do not like the back vents they only work with the ac and do not blow strong. I love the sliding door and sunroof. Gets good gas mileage. Didn't need a ton of work. It lasted a good bit.

Reliable but cramped in front.
Small and cramped feeling on the inside. Not 4 wheel drive. I purchased this vehicle to handle 3 car seats and it does that but it feels quite small in the front seat. It has been reliable, but because it is not 4 wheel or all wheel it is less reliable in the wintry condition ns.

Do not buy the Mazda mazda5!
Mpg for most Mazda models including the mazda5, is abominable! I was so entranced with this model because consumer reports loved it that I didn't even look at what the expected mpg was!! Everything else about it is good... Not great, but good. The CD player stopped working after about 4 years... Naturally it wasn't in warranty! Please be certain to check the mpg listed on the sticker before committing to purchase!

Dislikes and likes of my car! Read this if you are looking into buying a new car.
I like it, but it has a lot of recalls. But I like the gas mileage. I get about 30 mpg and I fill up about every two weeks. It takes about 20-25 dollars to fill up my car. My car gets dents really easily though. There is plastic handles under the windows and one of them cracked from a very light pressure put on it. And the outside gets dents so easily as well. It is very aggravating. And very expensive to remove dents from the outside of the car.

It's a decent car overall so far.
The front brakes squeal for no apparent reason. The only other problems can be clearly linked to aftermarket actions (I purchased the vehicle used, and a previous owner put the wrong size battery in, making it possible for the cable to disconnect). Despite a relatively small size, there is plenty of space to fit a family of four (children under the age of 12) plus two additional children.

Reliable and stylish car for families instead of alternative to minivan or larger size vehicle
Great for everyday on the go running around town, reliable, comfortable. Long distance traveling is kinda tight w luggage and room to move. Only other things disliked is only 1 size tires available and uses full synthetic oil

Great car if you do not need the trunk.
The mazda5 is a reliable station wagon style vehicle. It has 6 seats, 3 rows of 2 seats. The back row folds flat, and the 2 row also folds down. The 2nd row seats slide to allow for more or less leg room for the 2nd and 3rd row seats. The mazda5 has excellent gas mileage and is overall affordable. The only problem I have had is that the trunk no longer opens from the outside. I got it fixed and it stopped working again within 6 months.

Mazda 5 is a compact, versatile minivan. It seats 6 or adjusts for cargo space.
I love that this minivan drives like a car. It is not limited on visibility and handles like a sedan, yet it can seat my family of 5 with an extra seat for an adult passenger. It is not designed for large people, but for a family with small children it is perfect. It is more economical than an SUV and has perks of a minivan, such as sliding doors.
