Great commuter vehicle - Toyota Prius c.
There is no beating the gas mileage for a commuter, it is a great car. Compact enough to fit in any space in the city, and large enough on the interior to fit everything you need. It drives like a typical hybrid and you can get up to 60 mpg highway in my experience.

Great gas mileage for travel out of town. Great on the highway, too.
I love the gas mileage, the color, and the size. Even though there is little leg room in the back seat. Wish the hatchback door was automatic close. Three of the door locks have been replaced because the door would not open or close with the automatic control. Replaced all tires. No other problems.

Great mileage and reliable.
Great mileage and value. Though small, the hatchback design gives ample cargo space and this is especially true with seats down which is easy to do. Has lasted us 7 years with no sign of slowing down. Only issue is limited visibility when backing up and otherwise perfect.

I sometimes get 65 miles per gallon. This is a wonderful hybrid vehicle.
My Toyota Prius c is very comfortable. It drives smoothly, and gets excellent gas mileage. A tank of gas is less than $15, and lasts me almost 2 week. It has never let me down, proving to be the most reliable vehicle that I have owned thus far. It is great for long road trips, as well as running around town.

My hybrid experience by very happy.
Great car. If I wasn't interested in a totally electric car, I’d keep it forever. Keep up with required maintenance and no problems. My car is 2013, so I was a beginner at hybrids. I'll never go back, only forward- full on ev very soon. Will def test a Prius.

My vehicle has everything you could want in a car, it even sounds a small alarm when you try to lock the doors with the keys inside to ensure that you'll never lock yourself out.
My favorite thing about my Prius is the gas mileage. I recently drove across two states and got an average of 47 miles to the gallon. They're small cars but it's surprising how much stuff can fit inside of them. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that it has more blind spots than a normal sedan.

Small but mighty, with extreme power.
I really love my car! I think it functions well. It has everything I could ask for in a car. It also gets really amazing gas mileage, which makes it ideal for very long road trips, both in terms of saving money and in terms of helping the environment. Additionally, it also feels very safe. The music system works very well and the sound quality is good.

It's a reliable vehicle with decent mileage, but it's a little annoying to deal with at times.
I like the fact that it's a hybrid and fuel-efficient. I don't like its headlights (they don't light up the road very well) and I don't like how bossy it can be sometimes (I can't lock my keys in the car, but sometimes I want to--I'd rather have a warning than making it completely impossible to do).

I wish that I had cruise control in this car. I also wish I had a little more leg room for my kids. Overall this car gets me to A and B safely and without paying too much in gas/

Compact and reliable little car.
The angle of the seat aggravates my sciatic nerve by positioning my pelvis below my knees for extended periods of time. The mpg is very good, it is reliable and had no major mechanical issues. The back seat is the perfect size for one large dog and it is fairly easy to clean.

$10. 00 a week for gas, driving about 225 miles each week on average.
Overall it is a relatively simple car. Fairly nimble for such a small engine, and great on gas. The only real issues I've encountered are the limited trunk space and the somewhat lackluster interior.

The best model for the price.
The most reliable car I have ever owned. Great gas mileage, fun to drive and very easy to maintain. I have a 3 model which has all the extras except a sunroof. Easy to drive and park. Has only a ten foot turning radius. Being a five door hatchback gives you plenty of storage.

I love the sleek look of the car and I love how silent it is.
The only problem I have encountered is the driver’s buttons have been worn to the point to one of the window buttons do not work. But I think that is just my car. And it would work on the regular side of the location of the car (it is the back left button and it still works on that side).

Prius c is smaller and easier to park anywhere.
I have always had a Prius and the 2013 Prius c is reliable and good on gas. I often commute far daily to work and I spent about 40 minutes each way. It's about 20 miles away from my residence and I always found this car reliable. The display has also improved as well since I previously owned a 2005 Prius hatchback.

Prius, advantages/ disadvantages for long rides.
I wouldn't say the Prius is my most favorite car but it is definitely a very efficient vehicle for travel/ long road trips. It has a very reliable a freezing air conditioner I must say. It is a very weak vehicle though, if you hit a curb your very likely to do some sort of damage towards it. It is not a very tough vehicle.

Why I love my Prius and recommend it!
I love my Prius c! Everything works great, from the ac unit to the radio that syncs to my phone and plays my music playlist. I also love that with a push of a button on my steering wheel I can make/answer calls and control my music playlist without having to take my eyes off the road or move my hands from the wheel. The best part though is the fuel savings. I literally buy gas once every month and a half.

This has really been the best car! I get upwards of 40 to 50 miles per gallon and it is been super reliable! I have had my car for about six years and taken it on multiple road trips without issue. People might poke fun at this car but you cannot beat the miles per gallon.

Spacious car that's reliable and sustainable.
It was very comfortable seating which is roomy considering the size of the car. It has great mileage so you save on gas. Its reliable for long drives and comes with Bluetooth and easy charging ports. Another nice aspect is a large amount storage in trunk and seats fold down to make it bigger; was able to fit everything needed for a dorm room inside with space for two people.

Amazing gas mileage and you can park anywhere easily.
I love this car. I usually drive in it alone and it gets excellent gas mileage. It's easy to park anywhere. It also has a very wide body and I can tow my bike in the back when the back seats are down. My only complaint is that the pickup is slow when initially stepping on the gas. But other than that I am very happy with the car!

2013 Toyota Prius c pros and cons.
Vehicle is small but roomy. No mechanical issues encountered. Trunk space is very limited. Stock sound is pretty good. Car does not jump offline super fast, but will get up to speed quick enough to keep up with traffic around you. Has features that allow you to save gas while driving. Gas mileage is fantastic and does not cost much to fill up.

Toyota Prius, eco friendly, and a dream to drive.
I just purchased this car and I'm extremely pleased with it so far. It has amazing gas mileage, and several eco friendly features. The car also comes with Bluetooth connectivity, and call features. The basic but reliable Toyota Prius c.
The car is reliable until the hybrid battery needs to be replaced. Certain buttons no longer work on the infotainment system, which can be annoying. I like that it gives me trip information and a detailed energy view of the battery. It is an overall comfortable ride; it is just not very fun to drive. There's a lot of wind noise and you feel pretty much every bump in the road.

Low maintenance, with great usability of interior space.
I have had this car for about two years and have not had a single mechanical issue. The gas mileage is great and is perfect for delivery jobs that can add a lot of mileage. The interior is compact but it feels like a standard 4 door. I absolutely love the hatchback feature as it really helps with any concern of fitting stuff like furniture inside. The back seats fold down, so I have moved twice with just this as transportation back and forth. It has no towing capacity due to its lightweight, but I am hoping it can easily be hitched to a motorhome or uhaul if I need to move a lot further in the future. When it rains, the brakes are really sensitive, which is pretty annoying, but not a deal breaker at all.

Cheap to fill up. Lots of miles, still works great. Easy to park anywhere. Great to take when traveling. Wish it had automatic lights. Back seat is very small, hard to fit taller people. Car locks mess up all the time. Does not take off when getting on freeway.

It has orange exterior paint.
I love the fuel efficiency. Sometimes I forget to even have to gas up the car because the mileage is so great. The car is more spacious than you think. We fit camping gear and our dog in the back for many trips. You can do great road trips with this car surprisingly because it's got enough room for your gear and it's got the great gas mileage. One tip I would say for any adventure seekers getting this car is to invest in getting a roof rack. That way you have the advantage of even more storage space. Great commuter car!
accountCircle Gina C on October 17, 2020
Excellent gas mileage and as powerful as a regular car.
I like the gas mileage, only fill up once every two weeks. Like that it reduces my carbon footprint in comparison to non-hybrid vehicles. I have had minimal issues maintenance-wise with the car. I dislike the interior- the material the seats are made of is hard to clean.

Prius best car for your money.
It is a wonderful car, saves money and time on gas and uses gas very conservatively. My Prius has been very reliable in getting me where I need to be in my very busy life. I am only now experiencing a few slight problems at 90,000 miles with not having the ac work really well and sometimes having the car shake when starting up.

The old yeller of Toyota hybrids.
The trim is called the c because it's a city car. Power suffers while on drives longer than two hours, but overall very reliable and of course great mileage. This translates to bi-weekly gas refills if your daily commute is just work and back within 30 miles a day. Another plus is maintenance is quite affordable.

Bluetooth connection, vocal command capabilities. Keyless entry.
My Toyota Prius c is the best vehicle purchase I have ever made! The seats are made out of a very comfortable fabric. The ride is smooth and the car is a quiet start. All you have to do is push a button and it turns on. You do not even need your physical key to lock or unlock the door! Just have the key fob close enough to the sensor and it beeps. The gas mileage out-performs most vehicles. There's a nice digital display for what gear you are in and how fast your speed is. There is also a touchscreen dashboard that has maps, music and Bluetooth capabilities. Start push button & effortless gear shifting. Gas mileage & its unique body shape.
Not comfortable to drive on long trips due 2 no armrest or support for the back.. Truck space is not the best it could have been had it been able 2 drop as low as the hideaway spot on the trunk then many more things would be much easier 2 load and transport due to the windows slant in the trunk / hatchback plus extreme ranges of blind spots around the vehicle preventing a safer commute to be obtained.

Door lock seem to wear out on this model.
The maintenance is low on this car and is mechanically sound. The build of the car could have been more sound. The big issue is that the auto locks tend to break. This is a issue with this car line. Also keep in mind that the vehicle needs synthetic oil so the oil changes are not inexpensive, but it is only required every 10k miles.

Toyota Prius c - great gas mileage and reliability.
I have had my car since December 2017 and have not had any major problems with it. The check engine light came on shortly after purchasing it, but this was due to an issue with the gas cap and has not affected the overall performance of the car. It has lasted very well throughout the years, and I have not needed any repairs other than general upkeep of the car. I highly recommend it for somebody who is commuting and needs good gas mileage and a car that is reliable. I wish it had a nicer stock radio with apple CarPlay, but I love the air conditioning system. It lets you choose a temperature to maintain instead of just choosing the speed of the fans. It could definitely have more cosmetic features, but it is a very reliable car with fantastic gas mileage (avg 53 mpg).

My Prius c has been great to me. I am the second owner of the vehicle and didn't start seeing issues until 150k miles and it was a wheel bearing, nothing impossible to fix. The best part about the Prius c is the gas mileage. My mother only spends about 20 dollars week or so to get to work and back. I like how the Prius drives. It does not have the smoothest ride, but the handling is not bad. Though it is a compact car, it can actually fit 5 people and is much more roomy than expected. However, I am a smaller person so that may be a factor. For taller people it can be quite uncomfortable. It is significantly low to the ground, but that does not bother me as I am only 5ft tall.

Prius has great gas mileage.
I have had no problems with my vehicle besides the paint chips easily. The gas mileage is great on the hwy and in traffic.

My Prius C but the app says I have to correct my spelling
My Prius C has very grabby brakes, as I've heard most of them do. The plastic interior is hard and uncomfortable on long drives. The electronics work well - it's basically an iPod on wheels. It has good leg and head space in the front seat, not so much in the back.

Great car with few, if any, complaints.
Currently, the only problems I have with the car is that I constantly knock my knee into the dial that controls dashboard visibility and that my radio screen is starting to invert. Other than that, the car is fantastic! Quiet, comfortable, and great on gas.

The love I have for pripri.
I love that it's reliable. The cost of gas is pretty good for it being gas/electric. I fill up maybe once every other work if all I am doing is commuting to work and back and that's about 40 miles a day. It looks small but it's still pretty spacious. The back seat goes all the way down if more space is needed.

Toyota Prius c - boring, but good.
My Toyota Prius c is incredibly reliable. In six years, I have only had to perform scheduled maintenance with no mechanical or electronic issues. I have been averaging 47 miles per gallon, which is amazing! Comfort levels are average for a car of it is price point. The only negative is that it is the most boring car that I have ever owned, but I value the reliability and environmental friendliness far more than excitement.

Buy the money saving Prius!
I absolutely love my Prius. The reliability is unbeatable. It is fuel consumption is phenomenal, I can drive from pa to FL on less than two tanks of gas. Toyota contoured the back of the front seats to provide maximum legroom for backseat passengers. It handles great, is easy on maintenance and can haul much more than you'd expect. If you are thinking about a Prius, go for it!

Gas saver! But maintenance expensive!
It's very comfortable for myself because its just me in it. It's really a gas saver especially since I drive a lot. It can fit a lot of stuff when you bring down the back seats. It fit all of my stuff when I moved for college. The only problem is maintenance is expensive.

It is an economy car, not for speed. You will like the gas saving but not the torque.
It is a cute little car that is easy to get to work in. I like that it does not use a lot of gas. The lightweight nature of the car makes it kinda scary to drive.

Great mileage Toyota Prius c 2013.
The car is very comfortable. It is small but it gets great mileage and saves me money on gas. There is not a lot of trunk room, but it is fine for the city and it is easy to get into parking spaces. We've had a little trouble with the windshield wiper fluid freezing up where it is supposed to get released in the winter.

2013 Toyota Prius c hybrid.
This Prius c is very comfortable. It has a built in GPS system and has voice activation capabilities. Including phone calls. The car's performance is pretty great. It saves you money on gas mileage and is a hybrid vehicle. Which helps you use less battery emissions.

Great small car with lots of space and great gas mileage.
Great gas mileage. . Like the hatchback. . Only complaint is no one told me it has two batteries - a regular battery and the hybrid one so since I did to know that the regular battery does leaving me stranded at night and I had to call a tow truck and get my car towed.
