Gas Savings and Versatility - My Goldilocks Car

2013 Toyota Prius c Three

I love my car! The Prius c is comfortable for my small frame, but doesn't make my tall partner and friends feel claustrophobic. The gas mileage for my medium commute is excellent, and I can drive down the coast on a whim without having to worry about charging stations. Occasionally we find that the cargo space isn't quite enough, but smart packing takes care of that. We have been really impressed with the versatility of this car - great for parking in tight spots but handles the dirt track to my local fishing spot just fine. I am definitely happy with my purchase!

- Marie S

It has orange exterior paint.

2013 Toyota Prius c Four

I love the fuel efficiency. Sometimes I forget to even have to gas up the car because the mileage is so great. The car is more spacious than you think. We fit camping gear and our dog in the back for many trips. You can do great road trips with this car surprisingly because it's got enough room for your gear and it's got the great gas mileage. One tip I would say for any adventure seekers getting this car is to invest in getting a roof rack. That way you have the advantage of even more storage space. Great commuter car!

- Lindsey S

It keeps track of how much gas you are spending and that is an amazing feature.

2013 Toyota Prius c

The best part about the Prius c is the gas mileage. My mother only spends about 20 dollars week or so to get to work and back. I like how the Prius drives. It does not have the smoothest ride, but the handling is not bad. Though it is a compact car, it can actually fit 5 people and is much more roomy than expected. However, I am a smaller person so that may be a factor. For taller people it can be quite uncomfortable. It is significantly low to the ground, but that does not bother me as I am only 5ft tall.

- Sam M

Excellent gas mileage due to battery power in ev mode.

2013 Toyota Prius c

My Prius c performance is excellent! It is 4 door with a hatchback, that opens easily and whatever you put in is covered by a privacy panel. It gets excellent gas mileage, runs smooth, and the color of the color being called rainwater, gets several compliments on that vivid ocean blue color. The only complaint would be that the key fob no longer opens the car doors, so I have to use the manual key within the key fob itself. to fix it is quite pricey, so manual key entry for me now. Still love my Prius.

- Laurie L

Fuel efficient above everything else.

2013 Toyota Prius c Four

The car is practical in term of its purpose, which is to be extremely fuel efficient. The cabin space is okay, as long as it is mainly just two people. Anything more, and space begins to get tight for full grown adults. I have saved a significant amount of money from gas because it is so efficient. It is terrible in accelerating because of what little horsepower it is got. Trying to keep up with traffic from a full stop is hard so you have to be extremely smart about your braking.

- Jessica H

Fantastic hybrid gas mileage

2013 Toyota Prius c

My Prius C is a great car especially for my short trips into town of 20-40 miles round-trip. It's big enough for me and a passenger and the items I need to have with me. I love watching the average speed and the average miles per gallon as I drive. My goal every trip is to get over 50 MPG. I will sometimes set the displays up to be able to show most efficient driving when I am especially energy efficient. Driving over 70 mph is not as great but it is still about 40 mpg.

- Jim N

Great eco friendly car for commuters.

2013 Toyota Prius c

Have never had any performance issues. The seats a bit uncomfortable for long drives the are in a bowed shape that makes it hard to be comfortable for even a small person. Other than the shape of the seats it is a perfect size for an often commuter for work and traveling. I do not often use the back seats so they stay flat down so I can fit a large amount of camera/lighting equipment in the back or a small bicycle if needed.

- Emily B

Best little car with great gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c One

Love my Prius c. I average about 47 miles per gallon on gas and it is pretty peppy for a small 4 cylinder car. I have never had any problems with it and it is pretty comfortable for such a small car. Mine is the Prius c one and it has plenty of features for me but do wish it had cruise control. That is the only thing it lacks but I cannot complain because it is such a great little car.

- Pete R

Below average experience with Prius c

2013 Toyota Prius c Three

The locks on the doors break regularly and cost around $500 to fix so I avoid fixing. The car is very low to the ground and the driver's seat has a very uncomfortable curvature. The fabric on the seats stains very easily. The Bluetooth often doesn't work. The air conditioner is on and off about working. Overall, it just feels like driving a cheap car when it was not cheap to purchase.

- Terra M

Buy the money saving Prius!

2013 Toyota Prius c

I absolutely love my Prius. The reliability is unbeatable. It is fuel consumption is phenomenal, I can drive from pa to FL on less than two tanks of gas. Toyota contoured the back of the front seats to provide maximum legroom for backseat passengers. It handles great, is easy on maintenance and can haul much more than you'd expect. If you are thinking about a Prius, go for it!

- Tina K

My Toyota Prius great on gas, better for the environment.

2013 Toyota Prius c Two

I love my Toyota Prius vehicle, because it is great on gas, it fits into small parking spots. It helps the environment, it also has a nice look to it. And low maintenance. My car seats five people comfortable. Also, my car is light so I do not have to change the breaks very often. I would not like a big bulky car, I like a little light weight vehicle, not an SUV.

- Caitlin G

Reliable Car, but Basic Model is Basic

2013 Toyota Prius c One

Basic models didn't come with back speakers which is super frustrating. I'm not sure if it is really telling me the truth about how many MPG's I'm truly getting. However, the care is light and has great Drivability. It's small and compact and we have taken it on two cross country trips with us with no issues. All in All it has been a pretty reliable car.

- Jack P

Great economy and stand out color.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love the economy of this vehicle. I sometimes forget to refuel since it has such a long range before it needs to be refueled. I average $15 a month for the 400 miles I drive on average. Now that is economy. I love the color of my vehicle aqua as many people have stopped me to admire the color. To many cars nowadays are bland neutral colors..

- Sandie K

Toyota Prius, eco friendly, and a dream to drive.

2013 Toyota Prius c One

I just purchased this car and I'm extremely pleased with it so far. It has amazing gas mileage, and several eco friendly features. The car also comes with Bluetooth connectivity, and call features. Setting everything up was a breeze. Also driving is absolutely amazing. The ride is so incredibly smooth, and the engine is practically silent.

- Alicia S

Comfortable car to enjoy and save money while using it!!

2013 Toyota Prius c

My Toyota is a hybrid vehicle. It's very good on gas. For a small car it has a lot of space. I moved cross country after I bought it and it did great and my cat and I were very comfortable in this car. No complaints about the car...but unfortunately it has been vandalized at times but that is no reflection on the car or the car company.

- Debbie M

It grades you while you drive letting you know how your driving saves gas.

2013 Toyota Prius c One

This car is pretty good. Honestly, if I were to buy another car it would be the newest model with all the bells and whistles of this same car in a cooler color. It is safe, reliable and saves a ton of gas. It is a smooth drive but it does take off on the slower side. It handles great and has some pretty good standard features.

- May H

My favorite thing about it is the color, it is a beautiful sky blue.

2013 Toyota Prius c

It is fun to drive and it's actually comfortable to drive as a petite person. I love that it's eco friendly and better for the environment. It has proven to be very reliable over the past 5 years, I love the colors that are offered. The only thing it is missing is the backup rear view camera. I really wish mine had that.

- Sarah E

Great mileage Toyota Prius c 2013.

2013 Toyota Prius c

The car is very comfortable. It is small but it gets great mileage and saves me money on gas. There is not a lot of trunk room, but it is fine for the city and it is easy to get into parking spaces. We've had a little trouble with the windshield wiper fluid freezing up where it is supposed to get released in the winter.

- Amelia K

Absolutely love my Prius!!

2013 Toyota Prius c

I have owned this vehicle for almost 2 years and have not had any mechanical issues. The gas mileage is incredible, and I was surprised that a hybrid would have as much power as this Prius does. For a small car, it is very roomy, and the fold-down seats make it easier to haul larger loads. I absolutely love my Prius!!

- Patti M

Prius C is compact yet comfortable and a smart buy

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love my Prius c for multiple reasons. It's compact and easy to park and maneuver yet spacious enough inside and comfortable to fit my car seat and cater to everyday life. It is amazing on gas mileage too. The only downfall is the trunk can be small but it does fit my stroller and groceries most of the time.

- Ojen A

My vehicle has everything you could want in a car, it even sounds a small alarm when you try to lock the doors with the keys inside to ensure that you'll never lock yourself out.

2013 Toyota Prius c

My favorite thing about my Prius is the gas mileage. I recently drove across two states and got an average of 47 miles to the gallon. They're small cars but it's surprising how much stuff can fit inside of them. The only thing that I don't like about it, is that it has more blind spots than a normal sedan.

- Cortney S

It's a reliable vehicle with decent mileage, but it's a little annoying to deal with at times.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I like the fact that it's a hybrid and fuel-efficient. I don't like its headlights (they don't light up the road very well) and I don't like how bossy it can be sometimes (I can't lock my keys in the car, but sometimes I want to--I'd rather have a warning than making it completely impossible to do).

- Julia H

Toyota Prius c. What are my highlights of the car!

2013 Toyota Prius c

No problems with my 2013 Toyota Prius c. I believe it is a great car! This car has good gas mileage. It is great for 1-2 people. If you have a big family probably would work unless it was a commuter. I would definitely recommend the Prius c to anyone that is interested in great gas mileage.

- Barbara L

Toyota Prius C--Amazing hybrid car.

2013 Toyota Prius c Three

I have had my car for over six years now and it has been amazing. It gets tremendous gas mileage, is very reliable and is a safe vehicle to own. The problems with it is that it is very low to the ground, is made of cheap plastic that tends to rattle and is expensive to replace parts on.

- Karla F

One should know about 50 miles per gallon on the freeway

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love that I can get up to 50 miles per gallon when I am on the freeway I don't like the power that I have when going up hills and that if I use my power button it greatly decreases my miles per gallon I also like the size of the hatchback there's a lot that I can put in there for storage

- Kathy H

Prius c -- a serious urban automobile.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I have level 3 trim. Fantastic sound, navigation system, trim, wheels and color. I live in the city and this vehicle gets 45-50 mpg if you drive carefully. On the highway it gets approx. 40 mpg. The car is small, but seats four people comfortably, it can seat five people, somewhat crowded.

- Michael B

Great city car and excellent gas mileage!

2013 Toyota Prius c One

Love the gas mileage! It works great for two adults on a weekend trip or day excursions. I'd love a little more room in the back. The car runs well and is very easy to drive. The car turns on a dime and is great for tight parking lots. Steering is easy. Good visibility as well.

- Meg T

Small, quiet and compact.

2013 Toyota Prius c One

The Prius c has been the most reliable car in my 25 years trying out various cars. I love how comfortable and small it is. The best part is the turning radius and the quietness of the car. Oil changes are a little more money since they use only synthetic oil but it is worth it.

- Alyssa A

Reliable car! My Prius gets really good mileage and it's very comfortable.

2013 Toyota Prius c Base

I've had 4 Prius' and I absolutely love them! I have never had a single problem with any of them. I get better gas mileage on the freeway than in city driving due to the stop and go, but still average 43 MPG. The only car I would ever have unless it's a fully electric car.

- judy R

Always high mpg wherever I go!!

2013 Toyota Prius c One

I love my Toyota Prius-C! It's just the right size for me to run errands and even take trips! Sometimes the pick-up is on the slow side, but I use my patience and save on gas too! I easily get over 50 mpg in town and on the highway. It maneuvers great and control is a breeze!

- Vera M

Excellent gas mileage and as powerful as a regular car.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I like the gas mileage, only fill up once every two weeks. Like that it reduces my carbon footprint in comparison to non-hybrid vehicles. I have had minimal issues maintenance-wise with the car. I dislike the interior- the material the seats are made of is hard to clean.

- Gina C

Gas saver! But maintenance expensive!

2013 Toyota Prius c

It's very comfortable for myself because its just me in it. It's really a gas saver especially since I drive a lot. It can fit a lot of stuff when you bring down the back seats. It fit all of my stuff when I moved for college. The only problem is maintenance is expensive.

- Miriam S

Reliable hybrid! Excellent gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love the gas mileage! Hybrid is the way to go! It is very compact and quiet! I will definitely buy another Prius in the future. It is a very reliable vehicle. I have been driving this vehicle for 5 years and only had to do basic maintenance. New tires and oil changes.

- Lindsey E

My Prius C but the app says I have to correct my spelling

2013 Toyota Prius c Four

My Prius C has very grabby brakes, as I've heard most of them do. The plastic interior is hard and uncomfortable on long drives. The electronics work well - it's basically an iPod on wheels. It has good leg and head space in the front seat, not so much in the back.

- Beryl I

Great small car with lots of space and great gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c

Great gas mileage. . Like the hatchback. . Only complaint is no one told me it has two batteries - a regular battery and the hybrid one so since I did to know that the regular battery does leaving me stranded at night and I had to call a tow truck and get my car towed.

- Debbie H

2013 Toyota Prius c Four

I love my car it is good on gas. Easy to maintain and to operate. Low cost on repairs and payments are affordable. It is comfortable to ride and it is had a great sound system and update technology friends enjoy riding in it. It is safe to ride in and I enjoy my car.

- Darlene P

It's economy is a life and money saver in this time of rapidly changing gas prices. i can plan on only having to stop to refill the tank half as much as other people do with their cars. It gives me on average of 50 miles per gallon of gas.

2013 Toyota Prius c

This vehicle is very economical and environmentally friendly. It runs very well and we have had not issues with it running. We have driven it over 100000 miles and we received it with less than 100 miles on the odometer. We enjoy the design and look of this car.

- Richard W

Small leak. Weird light. Good ride.

2013 Toyota Prius c

Been driving for 3 years now. Have only had minor problems. Such as brake issue and needing new tires. Did have the traction control light come on randomly. And back tail light has an issue of letting water in when it rains. But great ride and good acceleration.

- Kelly B

Great gas mileage nice compact car for people that don't want a big car.

2013 Toyota Prius c Four

I really enjoy my Prius I save gas and it's never giving me any problems. Plus it's just right for me I am short so everything is in arms reach. Seats are comfortable enough leg room. I would definitely recommend for anyone to get a Prius I really enjoy my car.

- Vs S

People should know that the Prius C gets tremendous gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I primarily bought the Prius C because of It's hybrid engine and fuel efficiency, and I continue to be impressed by both features. I average around 40-45 MPG after four years of ownership. In addition, I enjoy the way it drives and It's low maintenance costs.

- Colin H

Great car with few, if any, complaints.

2013 Toyota Prius c

Currently, the only problems I have with the car is that I constantly knock my knee into the dial that controls dashboard visibility and that my radio screen is starting to invert. Other than that, the car is fantastic! Quiet, comfortable, and great on gas.

- Sierra N

The high gas mileage that the car gets - 55 miles per gallon

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love my prius for Its fuel economy and dependability. It is perfect for my job where I drive to and from clients homes all day. The gas mileage is amazing. I do wish the car was bigger but understand that that would cause the gas mileage to deteriorate.

- Jenny F

Heated seats spoil me! Will not go without them now.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love the gas mileage- on average I get 45 miles to a gallon. I haven't had issues with my Prius since I bought it in 2015. The model I have has plenty space for me although on large trips to the grocery the back seat and hatchback accommodate my needs.

- Cleo C

First car and so far best car.

2013 Toyota Prius c

It's a neat car very good on gas mileage very easy to drive small compact functional. Radio and CD player are very nice. Easy to maneuver make lane changes etc. The seats are adjustable and comfortable lights are bright, mirrors are clean and versatile.

- Jacob K

This is the most gas efficient car with lowest needed maintenance

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love this car for the gas mileage- during the hurricane Irma evacuation, I was able to get from Fort Myers to the Georgia state line on one tank of gas. The car has plenty of room for storage when traveling as the rear seats fold down.

- Kim G

it gets great gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I like the gas mileage and the sporty look of it. I love that it's a hatchback and the back seats fold down so I can haul stuff. I do wish it was as fuel efficient as a regular prius though and I am starting to want a little more room.

- Wanda W

Compact hybrid with awesome gas mileage, not zippy but a great all-around car.

2013 Toyota Prius c

- Jenny H

Buying a hybrid saves so much money on gas!

2013 Toyota Prius c

This is the third Toyota car for me. Toyota makes a very reliable car. The Prius-C has great gas mileage. After 5 years, the car still looks like new. My only complaint is it is not as "smart" as my last Prius.

- Susan W

That my car will save you hundreds a year on the cost of gas. It has a small tank about 8 gallons but it lasts me two weeks easy and I drive about 20-26 miles a day 5 days a week.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I really love how's it's compact and easy to park in tight spaces. It's has amazing gas mileage which saves me a lot of money each month. I do wish the back windshield was a bit wider, it is pretty narrow.

- Kristie M

The Prius c gets great gas mileage.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love the gas mileage of my Prius! I also like that the Prius can hold 4 people very comfortable and 5 people if needed. I dislike the lack of trunk space. I do wish the gas tank was a little bigger.

- Nicole Z

It is very safe for you, there are settings that will keep you from accidents.

2013 Toyota Prius c

It has great gas mileage. The car is very quiet. It looks great, it is very easy to drive. It has enough space for one.. Dislike: not big enough for a family. 2 passengers is about tops for this car.

- Barb L

$10. 00 a week for gas, driving about 225 miles each week on average.

2013 Toyota Prius c

Overall it is a relatively simple car. Fairly nimble for such a small engine, and great on gas. The only real issues I've encountered are the limited trunk space and the somewhat lackluster interior.

- Kevin H

My Personal Prius C Pros & Cons

2013 Toyota Prius c

There's pretty significant cabin noise, but other than that, no complaints. Gets great gas mileage (around 40 mpg average), compact size is great for small spaces, and is fun to drive overall.

- Elyse R

Fantastic gas mileage and comfortable driving.

2013 Toyota Prius c

I love how many mile to the gallon the vehicle gets. I also like how it rates every trip I take from one place to the other. Only complaint is lack of power for uphill but it's tolerable.

- Derrick P

That it runs on gas and electricity

2013 Toyota Prius c

I like that it is energy efficient and gets great gas mileage. Even though it is small the back seat folds down so it holds a lot. What I don't like is that there are some blind spots

- debbie L

Prius C is the car for me!

2013 Toyota Prius c

It is an economy car, not for speed. You will like the gas saving but not the torque.

I would definitely purchase my Prius-C again. It's surprisingly easy to maneuver in snowy conditions, gets amazing gas mileage (a long day on the highways still sees 40 mpg, typical is around 60 mpg, I've hit over 100mpg), and has spacious storage capacity and plenty of leg room. Interiors are comfortable, and the price point was right. The seamless switch between fuel and electric is a get compromise and makes this an unconscious money saver.
