It's a very great car. It runs great on gas, I can go anywhere on a tank of gas. And it does not cost a lot to fill the tank. The seats are very comfortable and I love the seat adjustments. The car is very spacious and has a great size trunk. My whole family fits with all our luggage.

I really do like my car just has to have the money to keep it maintained.
Very smooth ride and comfortable. Not bad on gas for a bigger car. No major problems. I did not buy it new it was used. I did have to replace a catalytic converter twice. Overall a great car. Right now I am having some issues with the speedometer not working. It tells me I am going 120 when I am going 70. The gears are shifting a little harder than normal so I have put transmission fluid and its stopped. Hope I don't need a new one.

One of the best cars for new drivers
It's a very sturdy car; there are over 100,000 miles on it and it still drives just fine. Very reliable and has a sunroof and heated seats. The air conditioning has broken over the years and only comes out certain vents, but otherwise, I have no complaints! It is a great first car.

Even it is an older car, it is so easy to drive and very comfortable to ride in. We have only had it as a second car for me to drive but I love all the things about it and am happy as it is a heavy car and I feel safe driving it.

Overall it is a great car I love the sunroof feature.
I love everything about the car just have to clean the maintenance on the brakes up or something happens with the traction system frequently. Comes with all the loaded features sunroof leather seats adjustable and tilt wheel cruise control and it rides so smooth.

I get great gas mileage. My car drives very smoothly and is metal so it's durable in the event that it is involved in a wreck. I am very satisfied with the performance and reliability! It's very spacious in the backseat as well as the trunk. So it's great for day to day and long trips!

Nice ac system and it has all kinds of controls and automatic buttons.
It has too much cosmetic damage. It is reliable for getting me back and forth places and the ac is awesome but it is outdated. For anybody trying to get this vehicle I need to warn you that it is not very good on gas, the brakes wear out easily, and you may want to look into getting a newer version of a Buick if that is your type of thing.

My lacrosse has survived 13 years of New England weather.
My Buick has been very reliable. The only problem has been with the warning lights, they seem to come on in damp or wet weather. I believe it is an electrical problem. The vehicle is very comfortable and gets good gas mileage. We have over 100 thousand miles on it and has only needed routine service. I believe my next car will be another Buick.

Comfortable /luxurious driving car.
Been a great car gets me from points a-b with no problems. Prices on parts are not outrageous when they have been needed. However rear view mirror fell off this summer and I have tried 3 times to put it back on with recommended kits from parts store and it has been unsuccessful each time. It's a comfortable ride and with just the normal maintenance oil changes and normal wear and tear it is been a great choice for me.

Great running car. Almost 14 yrs old and only 100, 000 miles on it.
Bought the car from grandpa. So we are the 2nd owner. The car runs and drives so smooth. Just rolled the mileage 100, 000. The car is very clean and in awesome shape. We have not had to put any money into it other then regular maintenance. I would highly recommend this car to anyone.

There is no actual problems, it is a solid car. The only problems I would say would be ware and tare nothing too big. Yes we had to replace the exhaust, but it was well over ten years, so that went, also brakes, but that us a normal thing. The luxury this car has, leather seats, it drives smoothly, has cruise control has power everything. Sunroof does not leak, which is awesome. Light bulbs are not the easiest to change but it is doable by an untrained person. One thing I do not like is the space between the center console and the floor. I lose change down that crack 24/7. Other than that this car is solid, smooth country driver. I take long trips with this car, it has never let me down one. I hit a deer with this car. It barely dented my car and I didn't even have to get my tires aligned. It also has great gas mileage.

My Buick lacrosse is awesome. It's all leather, airbags on both sides. It comes with OnStar which is totally convenient in case of an emergency or when you're broken down & stranded. It's front wheel drive. It gets about 17 gallons a mile on the interstate & maybe 12 around about in the mountains or a small town. It has AC, heat, the dashboard is digital. I love my metallic Buick lacrosse. I would recommend anyone to give Buick a try. Thank you.

I think the most important thing others should know about my car is that it will not only get from a to b, but it will do it in impeccable style. It's a timeless luxury car with all the bells and whistles you could ask for.
My Buick LaCrosse has been reliable, relatively fuel efficient, and all around fun to drive for all the time I've had it. The only thing that ever had to be fixed/ replaced were the brakes, exhaust, and a wheel bearing. For the relatively long period of time I've owned this car, I think it's a rather short list.

Eh, it is transportation.
Its an older model and pretty out of date. Its had a ton of issues since I bought it. A bent axle, 2 oil leaks, overheating issue, issues with a crank switch. Plus you need to get the headlights changed at a garage. Decent gas miles but not the best.

The Mile High Buick Lacrosse
I currently drive a 2005 Buick Lacrosse and have had it for about 2 years. It was given to me by my grandma with very few problems, but a high mileage of 99,000. Since having it the miles are now 130,000 and I have had to fix several problems over the years. I got a new battery and new tires last year, this year I had to pay for repairs because the check engine light was on. The car currently has no AC but I am thankful for working windows. I have one more repair to fix on the passenger side mirror. Other than that, the car is fairly reliable. I do a lot of driving and even though it has high mileage I make sure to keep up with oil changes. It runs good and I will eventually trade it in for a newer vehicle. The car features leather seats, and a car lighter so I am able to connect an FM transmitter to listen to music from my phone while driving which I love.

This Buick is a very dependable well built car!
The performance of my 2005 Buick lacrosse has been very good. I have had no major engine problems and it is always been dependable and runs smoothly. However, it is getting older and there is some cracking in the leather seats and windows that do not roll down in the back. It is also had a recall for an issue with the lights but we got that fixed. Over all it is been a very decent and dependable car.

I got my car just last summer after an x boyfriend totaled my Pontiac vibe. . That vibe I loved. Now this Buick is a lot bigger than a vibe. Which I realized is quite nice actually. If I get into an accident I probably will survive. Plus one last beautiful characteristics. . It drivers like a mother! I can go 0-60 in 5 seconds. I love it. Grandma likes to speed. . Fun!

My vehicle runs great. It has a CD player only. It's great on gas. It has some dents in the bummer. Some of the trim on the drivers side door has fallen off. It is a golden color. The car is really quiet when driving it. The windows sometimes get stuck. That's about it.

I have a really reliable car. We had it for 14 years and only needed tune-ups and air conditioning repairs. Gas mileage is somewhat normal and oil changes every 3-4 thousand mils. I do not. See any reason we cannot keep for a few more years!

I like that my vehicle seems to be well-made and looks fairly good for an older car. However, there are more things I dislike about my car. I dislike how large it is and that it does not get good gas mileage. The size makes it very difficult to park.

We love our LaCrosse Super!
We have the LaCrosse Super. It has an 8 cylinder engine. The car is heavy and rides VERY smoothly. Considering the size of the engine, it gets good gas mileage on highways and long trips. City driving it gets much lower gas mileage. It has wonderful heated leather seats for cold winter days. The car is black and the interior is tan. We have never done any maintenance or repairs to the vehicle other than oil changes, tire rotation/replacements, new brakes and one new muffler. We love this car.

Very good gas mileage, I go back and forth from Laramie and still have enough.
Really good on gas mileage. Comfortable seat with heat. Very reliable have not had many issues with it. I drive it from Laramie to Cheyenne every weekend and it always gets me there no problems. Very nice interior design. Not good for a busy family does not have much storage.

2005 Buick lacrosse vehicle recalls, above average engine, bad for unpaved roads.
My 2005 Buick lacrosse is a great family car. It has, however, had a handful of recalls for minor issues. This such as the lights stopped working while driving. The great engine in my vehicle keeps my ride humming like it still new to me. This car is not intended to be used on a gravel road. Living in the country has proven this to me and the touring tires that come standard aren't up to par with what I need.

Buick lacrosse, over 100,000 miles and the heated seats still work
It's not very good on gas but it drives pretty good except some body roll on curves. It might be because it has over 100.000 miles on it. Never had any problems with it. I love the heated seats and removable back seat. I often put the back seats forward and use it like a pickup truck. Was surprised at how much I could haul in it.

Great riding car, I have had some issues with stabilizing bar but, has been welded back. Power steering issues but new hoses and knock on wood no more problem. Frequent oil changes are maintenance mostly. Like I said great riding car, very smooth luxury like ride.

Many maintenance activities that should be simple to perform, i.e., replacing headlights, are not.
I don't like that there is no emergency trunk release in the car. It gets good gas mileage. I like the remote entry feature that allows me to start car without being in it.

Hate/love relationship with my car.
I've had to put about $3, 000 extra into my car because one thing breaks after the next. Once the one problem is fixed though it is fixed for good, I have a hate/love relationship. Very spacious and roomy, drives nicely when problem is fixed. Also not so good on gas but it works.

I like the car. The stereo system could use some Bluetooth capabilities. There is a LOT of electronic sensors that can be a pain like the fluid levels being just under a hair and it going off saying its low. Brief review of pre-owned 2005 Buick Lacrosse
The car is very comfortable. Gas mileage is not bad for a 6 cylinder. (22-25 mpg on the highway, 16 mpg around town. The car is very reliable. I've only had normal maintenance, tires, oil change. My only real complaint is that I seem to replace lights more than other cars. I've noticed it in both headlights and tail lights.
