I've had no problems with it and use it primarily to get to my remote cabin. Each way is 70 miles each way with 27 of it dirt/very rough road. I have added lager tires (but no lift), air bags w/onboard air compressor, heavy duty from and rear bumpers, 12,000 pound winch, roof rack with survival gear and off road lights. It has never failed me.

A reliable truck that I would buy again if I could.
This truck has been very reliable. I have been towing large trailers and snow plowing with a vehicle for 10 years now. Problems have been very minimal. My most common problem has been the steering column. It has been clunky and steering rods have worn out requiring replacement. Also the key receiver on the steering column worn out and was also replaced. There have been no major issues other than normal wear and tear on the truck. All in all I am very happy with the truck. It is now close to 100,000 miles and I plan on keeping the truck for many more years.

Dependability you've come to expect from a Chevy truck.
The blower motor on the heater goes in and out quite frequently. I thought this was just our vehicle, but a friend has had his blower motor replaced twice because of this. We also find that the interior lacks the standard comfort of a typical Chevy. The seating while it has some padding is quick to break down and show wear very easily. Many of the features are very basic in design so they tend to show excessive wear and take away from the resale value of the vehicle.

Four out of five stars: 2010 Chevy Silverado 2500hd.
2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 hd was purchased used and was four (4) years old with 40k miles. Pros: the truck hauls great and have never had an issue with towing a small 5x10 trailer. With very few blind spots, it is simple to drive. Cons: I have replaced the transmission twice in the last 100k miles. The rear driver side window tends to leak and fill door with water during heavy rains. Rear seat mounts were supported by plastic to prevent rattling; both broke at 50k miles. Average fuel mileage is 12.2 mpg and low fuel light illuminates with approximately 12 miles to go. The rear sliding window pulley system broke, but with some patience was easily replaced. Head shields from undercarriage continue to loosen. Illuminated driver side window controls had to be replaced due to inoperability on two of four windows. Overall the truck runs great and has seemed to have held value. Both paved road and gravel / dirt road performance are above average. As with most trucks, four wheel drive is optimal in areas that received significant snow due to the light weight on rear axles. Truck has also been driven on sand and performed well with proper tire inflation. The passenger area provides ample room for six and gives good leg room for all passengers. Two car seats and a small passenger can comfortably sit on rear seat. The factory head was replaced with an aftermarket head/entertainment system. The system includes a DVD player that is visible to all occupants in the rear seat.

Great work and or family truck.
The back seat is very tight on space but that is my only complaint. Lots of power, reliable. Any work I have had to put into it has strictly been routine maintenance. I do wish the back windows opened. Even a butterfly window would be great. Leg room in the front is great.

Hardworking and durable pickup.
This is a good pickup with plenty of power. I bought it used and haven't had any mechanical issues to speak of in the last few years. The only this I would improve on is how rough it rides, even with tire psi lowered. I frequently pull a trailer and have no problems going up or down hills. The cab is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for passengers.

Best truck ever made by Chevy.
Very dependable truck that has excellent handling and good control. Wonderful body style lift up back seats, with an amazing sound system. Very excellent work vehicle as well. Might be one of the best vehicle's that Chevys ever made. I give them two thumbs up and five stars for this beautiful ride of mine.

I love my truck. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it rides rough but that has to do with the tires, not the truck. It is a big truck but it's not the kind of truck you want to take through the mud. She will get down and go through. I love anything Chevrolet.

Uncomfortable ride along and winter comfort.
When I ride in the passenger seat for more than an hour I get a neck ache and then a headache. The headrest isn't comfortable. It has heated seats and remote start so it's really nice for the colder months. The ac isn't working which makes the desert heat extremely miserable.

Reliable everyday driver.
Reliable vehicle with lots of space and awesome features. Have not had any major problems, just normal everyday maintenance problems occasionally. Good for an everyday driver/work/or family. Durable. Parts are inexpensive. Would highly recommend this vehicle to family and friends.

It is performance is great, torque when I need it for hauling, but smooth and comfortable, makes it ride like a Cadillac. It is really big so big I have to really be careful driving in small stuff.
Sometimes it can be too big. But I like it because it is big and fast and I love trucks so this is perfect for me as I am a truck lover. The rims it came with are really good and it is lasting me a long time so overall I am happy with my purchase. I would suggest it but yes I believe there are better trucks.

When pulling a loaded trailer it does not struggle. Plenty of power.
My vehicle is used for pulling a trailer. It handles the road well especially hills. Only complaint is the bed of truck is starting to rust. Still love my pickup.

Chevrolet Silverado 2500 truck love it so much.
Love my truck. I travel in it and it never fails me. The only thing is that its a v8 and gas is up in the sky. Put in for gas eighty dollars each week. But beside that I love my truck so much. Love the color of my truck it is silver and the interior is black.
