Comfort and Space: An SUV style and size with the comfort of a car

I love how this car rides! We travel quite a bit, and it is very comfortable to ride in for short or long trips. The seating space is good in the back and our four teenagers are able to travel comfortably. The only thing I wish were larger is the space in the back for luggage, etc. When the six of us travel together we have been able to make it work so far, but we are going to need to add a luggage rack to the top. So far, the car has been very reliable and the gas mileage is good for the type of vehicle. We are not typically concerned about having a lot of technology features, but the back up camera and camera in the rear view mirror are especially helpful for this vehicle. It does feel a little 'large' when parking, so having the camera's to help when backing up is a great help and safety feature. We also enjoy the bluetooth feature which allows for hands free phone use and also just listening to music, podcasts, etc from my phone. Using the radio features is not necessarily as intuitive as I would like. I've had to Google how to use some of even the simpler features which I typically have not had to do for other vehicles. When we purchased this vehicle, we were actually planning to buy another van like the one we had been driving for many years, but after test driving this vehicle, we really liked the space it offered, the ease and comfort in driving.

My traverse is a great car for my family! It has out performed my expectations.

My 2012 Chevrolet traverse ls is wonderful to drive. Prior to purchasing this vehicle, I spent about two months researching the traverse. It is rating for overall safety and reliability was 8. 3 from u. S. News and world report's used cars report. The 2012 edition had a excellent reviews for safety, reliability, performance, comfort and interior finishes. It did not disappoint. It can carry seven people comfortably, even on long trips. That fact is important because I have two teenage boys (one of which is six feet tall and still growing) and a husband who is also tall. We have friends that live 7+ hours away so comfort is very important. The acceleration on the 2012 model is incredible. When I need to pass someone on the highway, my 2012 traverse can move! It makes passing a breeze. The ls has fabric seats but unlike other vehicles I have had, it is easy to clean and I do not have issues with water spots. The compartment size when the two rows of seats his huge! I do some landscaping work and I am able to carry 15 bags of mulch with ease. I have been able to carry a newly purchased chest freezer in the traverse's compartment. I love my 2012 Chevrolet traverse ls and will drive it for years to come.

The Traverse is a great choice for an SUV

I enjoy driving my traverse. We are a family of five and we all fit comfortably. It's very spacious and has room for everything that I need. I particularly like the fact that the 2nd and 3rd row seats fold all the way down, which allows room for ample storage. I've been able to fit larger loads than I expected. As stated earlier, this model has three rows and the middle row has captain seats. This makes it very easy for my children to get in and out without much effort. They don't have to climb over each other to get to the back row. The gas mileage on the car is acceptable, but I do wish it was a little more fuel efficient. It does have better gas mileage than other vehicles in its class. The SUV rides very smooth; much like a car. It is very easy to handle in that regard. I was initially afraid to purchase an SUV, but the drivability of the traverse made the transition quite an easy one. However, there is one con about the traverse and that is the road noise. The outside sounds are very noticeable when driving. You do tend to get use to it, but it would be nicer if the drive was quieter.

Best, safe, affordable, comfortable family SUV.

I love my traverse! It drives very smoothly. There is a lot of room seating 7 people. The 3rd row is good for younger people say teenage and younger. You could probably seat adults back there but it might be a little tight depending on size. The seats are very easy to fold down. There is a lot of storage to put things away. I have the entertainment system in mine. It has a DVD screen that comes down out of the ceiling. I do wish it had the screens in the seats. It can be hard at times to fully see out the back when backing up or looking out your rear view mirror. It has a backup camera in the touch screen and it is very helpful when backing out of a spot where you cannot see around you very well. It has the panoramic view. My kids love looking up at the sky when driving. They think it is cool seeing planes and the clouds going over us. I can use infrared headphones to connect to the DVD so the kids can watch a movie and we can listen to music up front. Overall I love my traverse. I think it is a great price and an overall safe and great family SUV!

2012 Chevy Traverse Issues

My Traverse has 120,000 miles on it and recently started to turn itself off randomly when idling. I have had it for about 4 years and did not have any other issues prior to this, and performed regularly scheduled maintenance. About two weeks ago, it turned off and did not restart. We tried putting a new starter in it, which got it to turn over, but now the engine sounds terrible. Both of the mechanics I brought it to said that it is not salvageable, and should just be junked. I have had these mechanics work on my cars my entire life, and they have never given me bad information. So now this 2012 Traverse is essentially dead and would need thousands of dollars worth of repairs to try to fix it, with no guarantees it will be fixed.

My Spacious Chevy Traverse!

My Chevy Traverse is very spacious which I do enjoy with 3 kids. My only complaint would be that I have to put my two big kids car seats in the 3rd row because the car isn't very wide and I can't fit all 3 car seats in one row. Also, I would like to have a bigger trunk space with the 3rd row up. I have a double stroller for when I take my kids places we will be walking a lot but with all my kids, I can't even fit my stroller in the back of the car cause there's hardly any space. All together it was marked at the right price and has been very reliable. The ac compressor did go out which sucks because it's not really that old and it's very expensive to get fixed but like I said overall it's a good car for seating space.

- Kristina M

Loving this reliable car so great for our family.

The vehicle drives smoothly. All wheel drive is the best for all an area that gets all kinds of weather conditions! The car handles well and has great safety features like the screen in the rearview mirror for backing up, side view mirrors with blind spot control are great, seatbelts are comfortable, and lots of space!! The heated seats and automatic start are must haves! I like the Bluetooth capability, AUX cord plug in, child lock windows, bucket seats. It's a very reliable and trustworthy family car! The seats all fold down nicely in the back making it super easy to store all the things we need since we are a family of four and super busy! The anti lock brakes are nice also.

2012 Chevy Traverse - Good overall

We've had the car for a few years now, and it's still working amazing. It does need yearly tune-ups, but most cars do. The only problems we've had with it are easy to fix, like the air conditioning in the front went out for a while and the computer system in the car went out of whack for a few days. Both of these were easily fixed by our mechanic. The car gets good gas mileage for its size; not as good as small cars but that's to be expected. It's also very easy to clean, as the back and middle seats fold down. This also makes it ideal for transporting all kinds of things, and customizable to the number of people that can fit in it.

Chevy Traverse is built for larger families who love to travel!!

Very comfortable driving. Passengers are very comfortable riding in on long trips. Traverse has been a very reliable vehicle and I have not experienced any problems with it. I have the basic package. I thoroughly enjoy the ability to hook my phone up to the Bluetooth speaker. Also, having several places to charge phones and plug in portable DVD players is a plus. I wish they would make the Traverse with built in DVD players. I also wish the backup features would be included in all vehicles along with the parking assist. I love all the storage compartments in the Traverse. I also love that it seats 8.

- Gail S

Versatile vehicle for small or large families.

I currently drive my Chevrolet traverse to and from work on a daily basis about a minimum of 80 miles a day. Putting so much mileage on a vehicle can be stressful however the Chevrolet traverse has been so reliable and given me no problems. As far as comfort the interior is very basic and has a soft gray color. It is spacious enough to fit my 3 toddlers in the middle row and also leave room for us to load our beach gear or groceries depending on the day. Overall I appreciate the Versatility of the vehicle depending on what we need the car for.

- Helena A

Right priced roomy crossover vehicle.

Vehicle is large and roomy inside providing enough room for all five of our grandchildren. It also has a roof rack so we can carry a roof top carrier with all the luggage in it. The traverse is very comfortable with adjustable seats and also a large cargo room when the seats are folded down. It is easy to navigate traffic in and has sensors which let me know when I am backing up into something. It has numerous front, side and rear air bags. It also has several places to plug in charge devices. The traverse gets reasonable gas mileage as well.

- Donna A

My Chevy Traverse is a great vehicle!

There is something wrong with the fuel intake. We once replaced the purge valve and it worked fine for about 10 months. It seems to get worse the more we used the heater since we live in SD. Symptoms were very noticeable. When increasing speed to, let's say, get on the freeway, it would be kind of jerking. The part was easy to replace myself by watching a YouTube video. But it does have over 180,00 miles. Other than that I love my Traverse. She's great in the winter time for being all wheel drive! She's very reliable.

- Jaime R

All in all it is a great family vehicle, we've had no issues.

I love that it is such a spacious 3rd row vehicle. It also has temp controls for the back so the kids can be at a comfortable temperature even when I am driving and controlling the temp in the front. The backspace is pretty roomy especially when I lay the very back seat down. I love this particular year model because it seats a full 8 instead of just 7. The only issue we've had is the middle seat belt in the middle seat has a hard time getting unstuck most days. Which does not really bother me because it is rarely used.

- Taylor S

It's not the worst vehicle you could own.

Overall it does what I need it to. It has an effective v6 engine. There is an issue with the air conditioning in that there must be a coolant leak. I've added more but it doesn't last. There is a short in the driver side control of the front passenger side window. Sometimes it won't roll down. Both the third and second row seats fold down which is very handy. I'm 6'4' and the leg room is adequate but if you have big feet too you'll likely be just a bit uncomfortable at times.

- Steven G

One of the best vehicles I have driven.

My 2012 traverse has about 92 thousand miles on it. Knock on wood no problems so far. Love the heated seats, how it drives, and how cheap it is to fix. Do not like that the back seats do not recline at all. Love how the back seats all fold down to make a truck bed. Not much trunk space. Took it across country and it was cramped. Had to get a luggage rack and top carrier. Love the mirrors and not many blind spots. One of my favorite vehicles.

- Ashley R

Comfortable, spacious and reliable.

My Chevy traverse is spacious and comfortable, I have 7 kids and 4 boys still at home who play sports year round. We can fit comfortably with all their gear. It does well in all weather and ice and snow. It has dual ac which is great. My only complaint is it has had some transmission issues multiple times now. It doesn't want to go into drive and even after repair has had those issues again. Over all I am very happy with my traverse.

- Sabrina P

Cruising over Oregon in my Chevy Traverse.

No problems. 3 sets of seats! Plenty of power. Very smooth highway and street driving. Good gas mileage for the size of the SUV. 4 wheel auto drive is important to have with living in a rural area.I like the back up sight through the mirror for backing up. The leather seats are very comfortable and easy to cleaN and maintain. Resale on this vehicle is quite good and I'm considering buying another like it in the foreseeable future.

- Lewis L

2012 Chevy traverse, great family vehicle.

I love the space in the interior of the traverse, comfortable seating. Cargo space is generous in comparison to other SUV options out there. Features are great, (back up camera, heated seats, DVD player, rear ac control, etc). We have noticed some sort of pulsing periodically while driving lately so there is currently an issue we need to have checked out. Other than that the vehicle has been great for our family of 5.

- Britney P

Lots of breathing space for my big family.

Really only problem with my car is it is 7 years old with over 70000 miles and other that where people have hit my car with shopping buggy it is great it runs good still I just like to get new once it hits 6 years but I have twin boys that just graduated and are headed to college so they had to have trucks and our income is not much but the other thing I really love about my car is it had lots of room.

- Theresa M

Very black car has very good make.

It is a very solid car, does not get much better than this. Has been very reliable over the years in stuff and moving from place to place to place. I can not wait honestly to get another one of the exact same car with a better engine to get the revs going again the same way it was when I first got the car. I love Chevrolet, I always have, and I always will. I can not wait to review this car again soon.

- Jacob F

Please review all issues and or recalls before purchasing this car!

I have had this car for 7 years now and was great for several years but then started messing up! The headlights brake lights and blinkers are constantly going out! We have replaced 2 fuel pumps all kinds of sensor issues and problems with the traction control! It tells me every time I crank it that my hood is open and it is not! Overall it was good in the beginning but I wouldn't buy another one!

- Rachel D

It looks great on the outside, engine and transmission not so great.

The interior of the vehicle is cheaply made, parts of the inside seem to tear or loosen easily. We experienced engine trouble not too long after we got it and no one can seem to figure out what's wrong. We read several forums about out year/make/model and several customers documented the same thing. It seems like there should've been a recall on the vehicle, especially with the engine trouble.

- Felicia F

Affordable, trustworthy family vehicle that drives and looks classy.

I just love the smooth comfortable ride. I also love all the room for my family. We have had no problems with the car and really enjoy the dependability of it. If fact we will probably by another of the same model in the next couple years. My husband and I have are on a budget and really appreciate how Chevrolet company keeps the traverse a affordable vehicle for the average American family.

- Becky J

Spacious, perfect family car.

Great family car that covers everything from basic utility to slightly sporty to borderline luxury, the traverse doesn't just take on traditional rivals, but also luxury SUVs, like my sister's overpriced BMW. Only downside is the cars size. It is a little slow and the handling is a bit sloppy - but when it comes to a pleasant highway ride and the room to spread out... You forget all about it.

- Megan H

It drives well and is reliable.

I like that it has three rows of seating to accommodate our growing family and still allow us to transport additional people. The back seats all fold down so it is also great for moving large items. It drives smoothly and quietly, gets decent gas mileage, and has been very reliable. My only complaints are that it only accommodates 3 car seats, and the back row is tight and uncomfortable.

- Nicole L

My vehicle not only looks good it's comfortable riding.

My Traverse is not only easy on the eyes, it is a color of light silver with black walled 18 in tires. The inside has charcoal seats and carpets, it has that third seat in the back that can be let up if not needed. The seats are the most comfortable and easy on the body for long rides. The air conditioner/hater is above perfection. The system is on of the best I've ever had.

- Laura S

The Chevrolet Traverse is the optimal family or business car.

No problems, great space and passenger seating. The all wheel drive has come in handy in snowy conditions. I like the back air conditioning and air circulation. The 20' wheel rims and tires make for a safe and smooth drive. The step up rails are important as I have heAlth considerations. Hey, it's a 2012 and still looks like the new models! 92k miles and still rollin!

- Lewis L

Great in winter weather - and comfortable!

I have had very few problems with my 2012 Chevrolet traverse. I had to have the breaks changed recently but as it is 6 years old, I think that is acceptable. It is very comfortable to sit in for long trips. I love the reverse camera. I live in a cold snowy climate and it operates very well in rather treacherous weather conditions. I have never gotten stuck in snow.

- Rebecca L

Seats 8 people. Folding seats for large trunk. Bluetooth. Many airbags.

I love that it has a 3rd row so I can bring extended family with. It seats 8 people. The back seats all fold down easily for ample truck space. It has Bluetooth for making phone calls. It has buttons on the steering wheel for the radio and Bluetooth to make it safer and easier. The middle seat has a control panel for heat/air. The car has 10 cup holders throughout.

- Rebekah B

Other than transmission problem, overall vehicle has been serviceable.

Vehicle has had a persistent skipping or jumping of the transmission since we purchased it. At first it was intermittent, but after vehicle warranty expired (maybe 2 years), it became progressively worse. I believe that the shop said it was an electrical issue with the transmission. Was quoted price of several thousand dollars. Needless to say, I was not happy.

- Milton B

Traverse offers versatility

I love the size of my car, it's great to have space for extra people and then be able to put seats down and load it with a larger load when needed. Overall it has been reliable, but we just recently had a big expense with a hose that wore through and caused the air conditioning to go out and it was noted that this has been an issue with other Traverses as well.

- Julie H

Middle seat uncomfortable poor design problem.

I don't get as good gas mileage as promised! The average gas mileage is 14 mpg! The kids hate the middle center seat. Its too small uncomfortable and the seat belt gets stuck all the time! The water pump went out at just shy of 72, 000 miles! Sometimes the headlights remind me they were left on sometimes they do not. Does well in snow! Would not buy again.

- Autumn M

Chevy: still a quality brand.

The 2012 Chevy traverse is amazing. The SUV drives like a dream in any kind of weather. It also runs very quietly for an SUV of it is size. I purchased one with leather, middle bucket seats, third row and DVD player. We could not be happier with our decision. I finally have enough room for three car seats and all my groceries without sacrificing safety.

- Ari S

A great family car with room to spare for all.

Overall maintenance is the most challenging but overall the performance is similar to that of a car. Smooth riding with a quiet interior. I does come with heated seats which is not standard but nice for an option. Another wonderful feature about this model is the ability to have a large group of people comfortably fit on the inside with room to spare.

- Reese R

Traverse not made for large family.

It is just not roomy for a big family with lots of car seats. They take up 3/4 of middle seat section and third person is squished in middle. Kids in back do not have a lot of legroom. As kids grow and get bigger there’s no way to fit more than two kids in the very back or middle rows. The youngest kids will need car seats for quite a while.

- Cecilia B

Great car for families with lots of car seats.

It is a good family vehicle for getting all the kids in and to places. The traverse fits 3 car seats in the second row. Most do not. I have two forward and one rear facing on the side in same row. Another fits in the third row. There's only one latch to secure the front facing in third row. Standard performance simple seats and tech inside.

- Tammy H

Reliability and the comfortability it affords.

My 2012 Chevrolet is extremely reliable (I have never had to take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs except for routine oil changes and tire replacements(the latter ( the purchase of new tires was simply a necessity due to a lot of driving). It gives great gas mileage (~20 mpg). It is very comfortable (for the driver and its passengers).

- Donald P

I love my Chevy traverse!

I love my Chevy traverse! I have had it over 6 years now. It has about 120, 000 miles and so far only had to get the air conditioner fixed. That was expensive because of where and how it is placed in the car. I love all the space it provides! It seats 8 people, or I can put the 2nd and 3rd rows of seats down to haul bigger items if needed!

- Donna S

Chevy traverse, the families SUV. Great for taking the family road trips,

I loves the SUV when I first got it. Over time I noticed it used so much gas. I was spending$100-$200 a week. It also has a rattle under the vehicle. I enjoy the space, the seats in the back wall fold down making it great for hauling things or camping. It runs well. I have never been stuck or stranded. But the overall deterrent is the gas.

- Wanda G

Dependable and spacious! Gets you where you're going in comfort.

I love the dependability of my traverse! I used to have a Ford Windstar van for many years and wanted something close to that! This vehicle is definitely dependable, reliable, trustworthy, great gas mileage and safe for my two kids and my family! Lots of room and amenities! Very awesome vehicle and glad I chose it after wrecking my van!!

- Lucy M

The Chevy Traverse is very spacious and all the back seats fold down.

I love my car but because we got the basic model there are no added features like the back up camera, heated seats, Bluetooth radio, etc. I would purchase another Chevy Traverse with additional features added. I love the space and the several cup holders. We have had no issues with the performance in the 7 years we have had it so far.

- Shannon W

Overall the Traverse is a great traveling vehicle. The money spent to keep it running is way more than expected.

A strong and sturdy ride with lots of room and seating. Great for vacation traveling! I have 75,000 miles and have had to replace the battery, front brake pads, and alternator already. The front windshield wiper water dispenser has not worked for a long time. Also, the spark plugs need to be replaced which costs about $400.00 to do.

- Michael C

It is a very reliable car that is being sold at a very reasonable rate.

This is a very reliable car that I purchased at a reasonable price. I purchased it because it can hold 7 passengers which helps with a large extended family. It drives well, especially in the snow, and I have not had any major issues with it so far. The turning radius isn't the best, but other than that, it has worked out well for me.

- Marcy H

This is a Great Starter Car

It is a good car. Very basic and lots of seats. Has a few issues like it makes weird sounds the air conditioning is not the best. The tracks stick very easily. I do love that the middle seats recline a little for comfort. The auxiliary does not work half the time so usually there is no radio. All in all, it is a great starter car.

- Destin R

It is a very comfortable ride. The seats are curved perfect so that when I am traveling long distances I am not uncomfortable and very stiff when I get out.

The only thing that I really dislike about my Traverse is the lack of storage space. The "trunk" area just isn't big enough to fit luggage for family trips or even groceries. I do however like the air conditioned front seats. It handles very well except when I have to floor it to move fast, at that point the tires kind of spinout.

- Lori M

Not to by this make and model!

Worst car I have ever owned, first the ac went out. Then the air flow sensor, the muffler got a hole so it is extremely loud, the check engine is always on. More censors and issues non stop. I do not know exacts as my husband does, and now no heat! Oh and tons of electronic issues with the locks and windows not working properly.

- Noel S

Reliable and plenty of room for the whole family!

I absolutely love my Chevy traverse! It has a great look and it is very reliable. I have 3 small children and the seating in the traverse is perfect for my family. It also has fold down seats to allow for plenty of storage while grocery shopping or packing in luggage for a vacation. Everyone in my family loves our traverse!

- Victoria Z

Awesome car and it fits all my kids.

I have good gas mileage but I seem to fill up every week. The seat warmer went out the first year and the motor went out on the rear windshield wiper. The factory tires lasted 5 years. The hatch back has had a few kinks and the cover to the spare tire broke well it fell in. The seat wipe up easily and I love my bucket seats.

- Tiff R

Traverse-A great family vehicle

I really enjoy the Chevrolet Traverse. It has the highest safety awards for vehicles in its class and features on star which gives me as a Mommy if 3 little ones great peace of mind. It has been very reliable with no major problems since we purchased it. It is easy to drive and navigate. I highly recommend it for families.

- Kristine l

Heating and air conditioning.

Everything breaks down at the same time. Heating and air conditioning problems. All sound including signal, music, reverse camera sound, waning dings all cut off. Sometimes warning signal come on even if nothing is wrong with vehicle, and stay unless you have a way to clear them. Gas light indicators don't work properly.

- Tiffany D

Great for family vacations.

It has a lot of room. I love the 3rd row seating. It is great for hauling/moving things and family trips. It runs well and I love the venting in the back seat. I do not like how difficult it is to repair things in the engine. It takes a professional to even change spark plugs, which I would normally be able to do myself.

- Heather H

Traverse! A sleek driving machine for the expanding family

Nice driving car, plenty of room, plenty of options including 5 th seat, gets decent gas mileage for a full size car, each seat is heated this model has a sunroof and rear seat glass roof, very roomy for long legs, great sound system in this model package, sleek looking and amazing colors: a real head turner for a SUV

- Kenny D

The Traverse is a great family car! I LOVE it!

I have not had any problems with my Traverse. I LOVE it. It's great for transporting 6 other passengers and I like that the seats all fold down so I can transport furniture and other large items. I have the LTZ so I have the heated/cooled seat feature and the side mirrors that fold in. It is a great car for families.

- tracey S

Size of vehicle, capacity, and use.

My vehicle has over 100,000 miles and I have little problems with it. However it does take a lot of money for gas. It has a lot of room for passengers. We also fold the seats down to haul stuff. It is a good vehicle to use if you like to camp and have a lot of camping gear. Plenty of room for family and all gear.

- Teresa W

The third row seating and parking assistance indicator are great features.

The vehicle is very reliable. Mileage per gallon is great. This model does not have a GPS system, it would be a nice feature to have. The three row seating is a great feature for a small family with a lot of cargo room to spare. I would recommended this vehicle to any small family looking for a reliable vehicle.

- Gabriel S

I love that I have third row seating but with split seats in the middle. I also love the back up camera in my rear view mirror.

I bought my car in 2016 after totaling my GMC envoy. I have 4 kids so needed something with enough room. I test drove a couple of different third row SUVs before selecting my chevy. I drove an hour to and from work and didn't have any problems with the vehicle. I will definitely purchase again in the future.

- Stephanie D

I love the 3 row seating, it is great for long road trips with the kids.

The only problems I have had is the electronics. I have to have my AUX cord plugged in to play am/FM radio, my speakers go in and out and the radio sometimes does not shut off when I exit the car (yes, the car is shut off). I have taken it in several times to have fixed but they cannot duplicate the problem.

- Robin O

Very comfortable riding vehicle.

The Chevy traverse is a very reliable vehicle it comfortable, it has heated seats back up camera which is very helpful very travel worthy, the inside is very spacious and lots of trunk space. Sleek and aerodynamic drives smooth lots of legroom window locks for child safety I really like the back seat space.

- rosa F

The Chevy traverse has incredible room for a big family.

This car is perfect for a family. I have 4 children that are all in car seats, or boosters. It still leaves plenty of room without feeling like you are cramming everyone inside! I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone! There is plenty of room and storage in the front for all of your belongings.

- Morgan M

It has Bluetooth and it helps you reverse.

I like the way it drives, the smoothness of it. Also the space of the car and how much room there is to put things. The other thing I like is that when you are backing up if you get close to something it alerts you and makes noise. The only thing I don't like about it is how much gas it uses on the daily.

- Precious D

An interesting detail on this car is it looks great.

We have had to replace the passenger seat twice due to it breaking. The water pump has went out twice and had to be replaced. The radiator had a leaking here recently and had to be replaced. Too many blind spots always scar will hit someone. We do take care of our vehicles and keep a maintenance schedule.

- Connie H

Best midsize SUV for the price and capacity.

I have 3rd row with bucket seats and the trunk is bigger than any other mid SUV the bucket seats and bench all lay down for maximum storage capacity. The front seats are comfortable with Bluetooth and radio access on the steering wheel it gets really great gas mileage and drive quietly on the interstate.

- Sara D

My vehicle is reliable, and roomy. Vehicle is good on gas, and oil.

My vehicle gives me good performance. Is very reliable, and comfortable for me and my family of five. I enjoy my vehicle because there is plenty of room for everybody. When I buy another vehicle it will be just like this one, because this vehicle is the answer to our prayer. Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah!

- Magnolia H

I do love the backup camera.

I bought this car because of the 3rd row and all.of the cargo space. We have used it to travel and love all the space we have. It has the backup camera, which I love. The one thing that I would have to say negative is that the tailgate gets stuck and sometimes will not go down by pushing the button.

- Whitney F

Why we love the Chevy Traverse!

It is roomy enough for us to all fit comfortably, and when we travel back home for the holidays and for extended stays with our family, we all fit along with all of our suitcases and presents and coolers. We also love the dvd player feature. It makes long road trips bearable for small kids.

- Mindy B

Large vehicle with third row, great family vehicle.

Problem. . . Window control on the driver's side for the passenger window does not work. The slide for the middle row sometimes gets stuck. But with small children the often drop stuff in the tracks Large amount of room. Comfortable driving. I plan to upgrade to a new Traverse in the future.

- Dee W

2012 Chevy Traverse vehicle

I've never had any problems with my car. It has a third row, great for my kids. A lot of space. Dual air conditioning throughout that heats/cools quickly. The seats fold down easy and you can fit rather large items in it when needed. Gas mileage is fair, it's roughly 50$ to fill the tank up.

Great overall family vehicle and very reliable on the road.

The traverse has been a great overall family vehicle with plenty of space for kids and hauling things as well (e.g. groceries, sports equipment). We enjoy our leather seats and cooling and heating seats during the different seasons. It rides smoothly. Has been a reliable vehicle thus far.

- Stephanie M

Chevrolet Traverse and color is Silver

I love my car. It's big enough for my family and we still have room to move in. My vehicle sits 8. I can put one kid in the back and one in the middle and they will not fight as bad. The color of my car is Silver and I have my windows tinted. I would recommend my type of car to anyone.

- April D

Our traverse is absolutely amazing.

I absolutely love the traverse. It does a wonderful job in the different elements including rain, and snow. I love the fact that it holds my whole family and is very easy to get the kids in and out of. It is a very comfortable vehicle to ride in. We have not had any issues with the vehicle.

- Kylie B

There's an aisle between the second row of bucket seat that leads to the third row of 3 seats.

I like the aisle that leads to the third row of seats. I like that the second row of seats are bucket seats. And I like that everyone can control their air flow. I don't like the price we paid for it. I also don't like that it didn't come with a GPS screen. I also don't like leather seats.

- Ruby M

small but big in inside I really love that my children fits comfortably

car drives very good and it does have some speed to it. it's a comfortable fit for 7 there's seat warmers for driver and passenger. It lets you know you are getting close to something when backing up beeps faster when to close back seats can be laid down for extra room great for shopping

- jackie N

I like that the ride is smooth. It handles all weather conditions really well.

The biggest problem is gas mileage. I love the room and the 2nd row captain's chairs. I have the moonroof in the 2nd row and the kids love it. The vehicle handles well and is smooth ride and quiet cabin are all wonderful. It is a great family vehicle to haul all our gear and people.

- Victoria W

Traverse good for travel, bad for endurance.

Things broke fast. 100, 000 miles now and replaced tires twice, brake pads 4 times, switches for windows and lights burn out quickly. Replaced all switches twice. Burns through gas fast too. Comfortable and seats 7 well which is great. Must have rear row down for any grocery storage.

- Jenny L

Pretty Good Family Car Overall

Ou car has over 100,000 miles and still going. We have had to have the AC worked on twice and it was pretty extensive. However, in general this vehicle is a reliable family car. It also has a good amount of room. We travel a lot for sports and carry several older kids and equipment.

- Crystal M

It's the best car I have ever had.

Rides smooth drives easy plenty of room lots of head space lots of legroom brides for seven. Lots of storage nice size car easy to take care of never had any trouble with it looks like an expensive car but its just a really great car I. I love it it's the nicest car I have ever had.

- Cathy S

Problems with our 2012 traverse.

The traverse is not for people over 6 foot 2 inches. Very cramped in the back. Does not have much room for items in the cargo space. Does not get the gas mileage I was expecting, was as low as 13.4 mpg this winter. I would trade it off in a second if we had the money to replace it.

- carolyn Z

7 Passenger comfortable seating.

I love the Chevy traverse because it has 7 passenger seating and the driver seat has plenty of legroom for tall driver's and comfortable. . I also love the way it drives on the highway with it is 6 cylinder horsepower. Not to much or too little power and it has a sporty look to it.

- Sheila L

Room for a family of five.

I am a mother of three and the Traverse gives me the room I need for my family. It also provides ample storage room. I do have to fill up on gas more often than I did with a smaller car but the pros outweigh the cons. The heated and cooled seats make for a comfortable ride as well.

- Diane S

There is not very much room in the back seats.

No problems with vehicle runs great and fits my whole family. The passenger window does not go down anymore and two shops have not been able to figure out why and I can't get it fixed there is not as much room in the back for people with long legs so my kids complain all the time.

- Melissa H

My time is my own when I am in my vehicle another world.

Lots of room full loaded dashboard, on screen GPS. And backup hands free device plenty of storage, I feel comfortable in my car and all my worries are left behind, quite sound from the outside world, smooth ride quality stereo system and speakers to listen to your favorite music.

- Christine J

Red Chevy traverse with black interior. . . Super comfortable.

It is a comfortable, reliable vehicles, however my boys are extremely tall and no longer fit in the 3rd row seating. We have cloth seat and CD player with Bluetooth capabilities. 2Nd row bucket seat and plenty of space when 3rd row is not in use. Red in color with black interior.

- Tanya L

.There really is not an interesting detail. It just has the regular stuff in it.

It runs pretty well except for the fact that every year my air conditioning stops working. It's pretty comfortable. I did add a DVD player for kids. Other than the air conditioning not working I have really not had many issues I do have Bluetooth which is very handy to have also.

- beth C

The Traverse has small storage area in the trunk but the inside is spacious.

I love that the Traverse has a 3rd row seat and that it comes with 2nd row bucket seats. The only thing that I really don't like about the Traverse is the lack of room in the trunk. It is hard with a family of 5 to pack the car and still feel like you have room on a long trip.

- Melissa M

The Chevy Traverse has both an adjustable rear temp panel and vents.

It is spacious. Seats 8 people. Has front and rear temp control panels. It also has adjustable vents in back. The seats also fold down for storage. Good on gas mileage 20-22 mpg. It has a rear view mirror camera and tow hitch ball. It has lots of legroom in front and back seat.

- Rm C

2012 Traverse 2 wheel drive.

Love my Traverse! The only downfall is now having some problems with the a/c. The a/c just kicks on and off. Other than that the vehicle is great! It is roomy, rides great and gets good gas mileage. Love that it has cloth interior with heated seats. Would definitely recommend.

- Wendy O

Chevy Traverse and my experience with it!

I love this car it's been very reliable and I've been able to put over 200,000 miles on it! I've been driving it all across the country for a few years now and it's been great on gas also. I got the pearl white color which makes it look fancier with the running boards as well.

- Preston M

Chevy Traverse is a great family vehicle.

I feel the Chevy Traverse is a very reliable and a great vehicle all together. The size of it is great for when my family had to travel, and I hope I can buy one for my future family because the vehicle is very reliable. I love my Chevy Traverse, especially the Bose speakers.

- Jose B

Chevy Traverse 2012 car review October 2018.

I love my Chevy Traverse because it is very spacious but having problems with my steering wheel. It has a TV in the back which helps keep the kids entertain for peaceful car ride. It guzzle gas like a big truck but overall it's a sturdy car to ride around in and I feel safe.

- Janet T

Probably the third row seating.

I like the size of the vehicle but dislike the mpg. I also like the Bluetooth that allows me to talk hands free through the stereo but dislike the small back up screen. I love the fact that it has 3rd row seating but the amount of gas that it takes to fill up is distasteful.

- Regina B

It is very spacious easy to clean!

The only thing I did not like is that the service airbag light came up a week after I bought it, thankfully it was just a glitch. The car is spacious and very comfortable! It runs very smooth. The camera is very helpful. It has great speakers! It is leather so it is easy to.

- Rosa V

The best SUV-roomy and smooth riding.

I have over 100k miles on my car and have had minor problems with it. This is the best car I have ever owned, it fits my family of 8 and is roomy and runs smoothly. It gets good gas mileage and does not break the bank. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a large SUV.

- Christina T

Performance of a traverse.

All wheel drive is very noisy, my son who are extremely tall do not have sufficient room for their legs. It is a comfortable ride if you are sitting in the front seat. Bucket seats are beneficial and make getting to third seats much easier. Power seat is a nice convenience.

- Tanya L

The vehicle has tons of storage and room for many passengers.

The work on it cost more because have to remove the whole front bumper to replace a headlight but it is dependable, good on gas, and comfortable. The battery is difficult to change due to everything being digital and the awkward placement but autozone knows the model well.

- Alex L

Good overall buy but needs ac.

Main issue with the Traverse for this model year is the air conditioning system which has required repairs at least twice so far. My other Chevy a 2005 has only required maintenance to its ac system. Other than that I like the roominess handling and power of the Traverse.

- Francisco G

Chevy traverse 2012 lt 4 door. So reliable.

Very reliable and comfortable however my arm rest has worn and it's nothing fancy just plain Jane inside. It could use a backup camera and a button to open and shut the back end. Also it should come with a hitch. Also the gas mileage isn't as well as I would like it to be

- Whitney Z

Storage for all your needs!

I love it! Drives like a car but has the storage everyone needs in our family. I have had some minor issues but all have been covered under the extended warranty. Example, starter, sensor on lights. I also like that as an adult, you can sit in the third row and be fine.

- Megan W

Be prepared to spend lots of money on tires. 200 per tire. Next car I will check price of tires first

Tires are way to expensive. Also, the dashboard has a plug in for my phone, but you have to open the top of it to get to your phone, more distracting when driving then if I just talked on the phone. Also, things are starting to break or have broken, GPS, window, etc.

- Brooke J

traverse great for small families

great on gas big enough for my family. Kids love watching movies in the car on long drives. Great for vacations has a lot of extra room. Trips to the store are easy with packing groceries into the back with the seat down. Not really any complaints. Overall very nice.

- jeremiah M

I has been a dependable unit with a few issues.

Head gaskets replaced, timing belt replaced, cam sensor replaced. Most of the issued are mileage related. The performance is good. It is a comfortable to drive and also to be a passenger good leg room and 3rd row seating. This unit has most of the bells and whistles.

- Chuck D

My daughter says the Chevy is like driving your couch, it's pretty comfortable.

Overall I am very happy with the car, it is reliable, comfortable, roomy and easy to drive. It easily fits six people but holds seven and the hatch/cargo space is very large. I have moved my daughter in and out of college three times in this vehicle with no problem.

- angela D

The traverse is a great car if you want lots of room.

I do not have many problems with my vehicle. There are very standard features. Comfort is basic. The gas mileage is great. It is very easy to drive. I have had no mechanical issues with my car, I consider it to be very reliable. It has a 3rd row so it is very roomy.

- Jessica M

The perfect family car, spacious, and comfy

My traverse is the perfect size , it's perfect for a family ! It's very spacious, comfy! I love that it can either fit 8 people or 5, also as a new mom a baby car seat was easy to install in it ! It's pretty good on gas as well ! The A/C and heat work perfectly !

- Isis B

Great family car for hauling the kids and their friends.

Windows can only be rolled up from the door they're on. Drives like a car but roomy like a truck. Mpg average 15 in city. Over all I am happy. Would recommend and would buy again. A cheaper alternative to the Buick enclave. Drives well on roads- nice smooth ride.

- Char L

It's awesome in the snow and I love that its very spacious.

It is very reliable. What I don't like is the gas tank of course. It's not so good with the back and forth, but I love it on the highway. I did have a problem with my rack and pinion. I'm having an issue with my lights flickering and my blower motor is going up.

- Lakea J

My home away from home. Where the stress of the day melts away.

Lots of room. Fold down seats. You can put a full air mattress in the back for camping. The seats are removable. Great handling in the snow. Seats 7 people. Vents blow clear to the back. Child locks. Backup camera. Easy to get in for tall people. Handles great.

- Christine B

I love my Chevrolet Traverse.

I love this car. It has a lot of room for my family and the kids stuff fits. You can get 7 people in the car and we do a lot of family vacations. It is reliable and we love it. I would love to have another one because there is a lot of room and it great on gas.

- Della K

It is very big and fits many people

There is a secret safe I the from to keep everything hidden and it has seat warmers which is really nice in the winter time when it's cold. Also there is a secret compartment in the trunk which can store other things like umbrellas and balls. It is a great car

- Kylie S

Gas mileage is fantastic and cost effective.

Very reliable. Relatively very cost effective great gas mileage and economical. Can carry multiple people and is . Roomy and comfortable seating for all. . Great to drive- easy and carefree. Very comfortable for traveling long distances. Storage is a bonus.

- Sharon L

The Chevrolet traverse gets terrible gas mileage.

It gets terrible gas mileage. Love having the third row. There have been a lot of mechanical problems. Already had to replace the transmission and still owe on my loan. It is broken down several times. My old Chevrolet trailblazer got way better gas mileage.

- Amanda L

I love the captains and heated seats!

I have not encountered any issues thus far. I enjoy the 3rd row with captains seats as well as the heated seats and automatic hatch. I wish the radio in the front was more updated and has better gas mileage but overall it is a great car for larger families.

- Ashley L

Chevy Traverse has some issues

It's decent. No major issues even over 100k miles. Has had some mechanical issues in the windows, airbags, plastic panels, and seat belts. Panels seem to just fall apart. But as far as the car itself goes- it's pretty decent and hasn't really required much.

- Wesley R

Chevy Traverse overall good car

Overall my Traverse has been a reliable vehicle. Had to replace the engine which was under warranty. That was the only major problem we had with the vehicle. Love that it seats 8 people and all seats fold down for extra room for transporting things places.

- Kim N

Back up camera is amazing, still need to look for yourself but it is reliable.

Huge, with the seats down in the back you have so much room to pack stuff. The seats are comfortable and I like to sit high to see. The heated seats are the best, and I love the seat adjustments. Back up camera is just something now I will ever do without.

- Hope N

Absolutely love my Traverse!

The Chevy Traverse is a comfortable riding vehicle. It handles well on the highway and I enjoy the features it has. The interior offers good space for our family to travel in. For an SUV we are pleased with the mileage we get and the cost of maintenance.

- Linda B

Chevy Traverse 2012 is ok.

It is a very spacious car and the AWD really helps during snowy weather. I bought the car used with over 100, 000 miles and I have had to replace the windshield wiper motor and there is now an oil leak that will cost over 3, 000 dollars. It drives well.

- Michelle L

It gets very good gas mileage, especially on the highway

Third row easily fold down for more trunk space. Captain seats easy to get to the back seat. Heated seats keeps you warm in the winter months. Easy to navigate through the screen that tells you the logistics of the vehicle (oil life, tire pressure, etc)

- Jessica C

There is plenty of room to haul your family and haul your belongings.

I love that we can keep the rear seats folded down to have room for loading our dog and our gear for camping. I love that it is a pretty smooth ride with decent gas mileage. I do wish it were easier for people to get into the back seats to actually sit.

- Victoria N

2012 Chevrolet traverse nice ride.

My Chevrolet 2012 traverse drives smooth on the road and highway it has black interior it is really comfortable. With three row seats and is nice for a family with kids the engine run smooth and the tires are good it has a big tank and I love this car.

- Kimberly G

Very reliable family car. Plenty of room inside and in the trunk too.

I like this car a lot, it is big enough for our family of four, including 2 boys, we like that we have chosen the captain chairs on the second row, and also that there is a third row. We had a few issued with the A/C having to be repaired a lot though.

- Caroline A

Not big enough for a large family!

Horrible blind spots. Not as big as it appears. Rear windshield is entirely too small. Has been reliable but it is not very comfortable for our family of five. Very little room to pack for family vacations. It is size on the outside is very deceiving.

- Tara C

Cannot see backup screen when there it is sunny out.

I love the luxury of it, the moon roof and the sunroof and the all wheel drive. But it shimmies when you drive it, you can't see the backup screen when there is sun, and it is a serious gas guzzler. It is a good size and overall a very nice vehicle.

- Yvonne C

It is comfortable and dependable.

I love the comfort of the seats for long road trips, I enjoy the option of heating my seats when the weather is cold. One thing that I do not like much is the dashboard compartment because the latch on the compartment is flimsy and breaks too easy.

- Evelyn R

I love the third row seating. I also love the bucket seats in the second row

There are sometimes Issues with traction control and stabilitrak sometimes. The traction control will shut off and car will shake. Then it will come back on and sometimes check engine light comes on. I have never taken it in to have it looked at yet

- Beth A

I call it the "tank" because of how enormous the car is. I still love it though.

The Chevy Traverse is a very reliable vehicle meant for a large group of people. If you enjoy taking road trips or hauling large groups to events, this is the car for you. With that said, parallel parking can be a nightmare with this large vehicle.

- Tamara A

Great family car--comfortable ride with awesome features.

This vehicle has been great for our family. It is comfortable for adults and kids alike, and we currently have 2 car seats installed with plenty of space. It drives more like a car than an SUV, and extra features such as backup camera are great.

- Ann H

The traverse is a great vehicle for my family of 7.

I enjoy my traverse. We got the one with hardly any features but it still drives and runs great. It is also only front wheel drive but that was our fault when we bought it. We did not look to see what it was. Overall it is a great vehicle.

- Tracy C

They should know that it has a split middle seat much like a minivan.

I love that it has 3 rows. I love that it has a split middle row to access 3 row easily. I love the backup camera. I don't like that it is really hard to keep clean because it has tracks for the seats that sand/dirt gets trapped in.

- Julayne G

I do like the Findlay dealership service department and I will therefore purchase all my vehicles from them.

I have an ongoing problem with my car and paid $2000 to attempt to fix it but because the lights go on and off and don't stay long enough for the dealership to figure out the issue at hand. I can't wait to trade it in within the year.

- Sara I

It's a great family car. It has three rows and plenty of space for kiddos and their toys!

I have a Chevy traverse. We bought it because we are a growing family. It has three rows of seating, and that is my favorite feature of it. It's also good on gas mileage and drives smoothly. I really don't have any dislikes about it.

- Emily D

It has a great sound system and it gets over 20 miles to the gallon.

I really like the car, it has everything I wanted in a vehicle, backup camera, heated seats, rear defrost and room for seven. My wife does not like the fact that it is high to get into, even though it has side steps full length.

- Larry S

It's very reliable. Very roomy. Seats lay flat for storage.

There's nothing I dislike about my vehicle, except maybe the color I picked. It's very common and I see it everywhere. I love my vehicle, it's very roomy and reliable, looks sporty and not like a soccer mom van yet can seat 8

- Deborah N

It's overall good family car..and easy to drive long distances specially for soccer games

I like my Bluetooth and changing station on steering wheel.it's very comfortable to travel long distances and I won't get stuck in rural roads, it's just right for me.but the only thing I don't like is too small for luggages.

- Lourdes T

perfect size for being veritable for 6 people or cargo.

I love everything about it, the size, the seat versatility, love that it's an SUV. I don't really have anything that I dislike about it, nor any complaints. Although I would like to have dual temperature control in the front.

- Sheila W

Overall, I like my Chevrolet Traverse. I like the rear passenger seats being captain's style, because it makes it easier to access third seat..

Some visibility issues; blind spots. When using drive-up windows (bank), have to raise driver's seat to be at right level to reach out window. Good performance & reasonable gas mileage. Comfortable to ride in & drive.

- Carol B

It does get great mileage.

Zippy, throttle and brakes are a little to touchy. It gets really good gas mileage with a relaxed foot. I feel it is a little to delicate, the window shapes give me to many blind spots, but my husband loves the car.

- Lisa M

That it is very comfortable to sit for riding in it for long time.

I don't like that when the back seats are up there is not a lot of room for storage in the back. I love the room we all have in our own seats. I also like my car came with a travel tv since we are on the road a lot.

- Candra M

Great mid-size SUV, very versatile

It is a great mid-size option. It has three rows, for when you need more seating. But, the back seat can fold down to give you more space for cargo, if needed. It drives well, and gets fairly good gas mileage.

- Dean A

8 seater with plenty of room

No radio, air conditioning is broken, decent gas mileage, nice room for seating for 8, pricey for an american car, could probably get a number of other cars for the same price, but very few are limited 8 seaters

- Lori C

It doesn't get very good gas mileage around the city.

The mid size SUV fits 7 comfortably. It has separate controls for the rear air, so the passengers can adjust it. The back-up camera is built into the rearview mirror, making it easy to view it while backing up.

- Christina H

I like that it has a lot of space in it

The is great it runs pretty good to be a two wheel drive. It's good on gas, miles, one problem we had with the tires at times but things are better now. The aux has a shortage in but it will be fixed sometime.

- James R

The blind spots can be frustrating - they are especially annoying when backing up

I like the overall style of it - it looks new and sleek. I also like the controls - the window buttons, lights, etc. the only complaint I have is it has many blind spots that you have to use mirrors for

- Julie D

It fits 6 passengers pretty well or lots of cargo space.

I like that the Traverse is a large vehicle and can fit extra passengers or cargo. It is not as buff as my Oldsmobile Silhouette that I had before and it is much harder to use the third row of seats.

- Tracy L

It carries a large family without being a huge vehicle.

I love the size and color. It seats 8 which works for our large family. I wish it did have more cargo space in the back. It is very easy to drive and not so large that it is hard to park.

- Rachel W

It is a very safe vehicle. Plenty of room. The engine is amazing.

This SUV is very comfy. Plenty of room and storage. Also has a great sound system. Drives very smooth. It has three row seating so plenty of space. Back row folds down for even more storage.

- Kristen D

It is very spacious. It can fit 8 passengers including the driver with still a lot of storage space.

I really like my car. It runs smoothly and fortunately has never given me any problems. It is a really big car which is my only negative, but that would be a positive for big families.

- Jen M

Comfortable to drive, but watch out for blind spots.

I wish there was more leg room in the middle row. An extra 6-8" of storage room in the back would be nice. I like that my whole family can ride together, and it's pretty gas-efficient.

- mo g

The total quality of this car. Craftsmanship interior and exterior,

I love the way it handles, the comfort of the ride, the legroom for passengers, and the look of the interior and exterior. There is a blind spot for the driver on the passenger side.

- Kathleen P

Great car for families who need a functional car that will work well.

I love how functional it is for my family. It is easy for kids to get in and out. Lots of cargo space. Drives well. I for sure want another traverse when I go to buy my next car.

- Ali S

3 Rows!!! Lots of room!!

Like all of the room, 3 rows and the 2nd row has captain chairs. It is easy to drive and a smooth ride. Had lots of trouble with the AC, and now possibly the transmission.

- Elizabeth Y

Great car, hate bench seat

I love the traverse. It has three rows of seats. The middle being a bench seat, which I don't love. It has a backup camera, DVD player with headphones, sunroof and moonroof

- Alicia P

It is very hard to see when backing. We think it is due to the way the rear window is.

I like the number of passengers that it will hold. My biggest dislike is that it is hard to see when backing up and has limited cargo space if you have it full of people.

- Donna C

Great vehicle for transporting a family

I like the size and comfort of the vehicle. It is easy to drive and fits my family's need. I dislike the gas mileage. I would prefer that it be more fuel efficient.

- Tammy V

A Cherry Traverse is stylish, dependable and affordable.

It fits my needs. It is great on gas consumption and has never needed any major repair work. It handles amazingly and it's roomy. The interior and exterior look great.

- Ashley C

The gas mileage is great! I've never spent more than $30 filling up.

Very comfortable has extra room DVD player and heated seats for winter. I have no complaints if I changed vehicles I would just get a newer model of the same vehicle.

- Shirley D

It looks nice. It gets good gas. It holds a lot.

I like the roominess on the inside. The seats are comfortable. The main thing I do not like is the design of the console. It has too many crevices to collect gunk!.

- Karen I

There is not anything important about my car.

What I like about my vehicle is that is very roomy and saves a lot of gas. What I dislike about my vehicle is that it is not that fast, which it is not a big deal.

- Luis O

Best personal utility vehicle on the market today

I like everything about the car. We are going to use it to tow an RV and that opens up new experiences for us. It is much nicer than the old van we used to have.

- Laurie B

This has been a great vehicle.

My car is reliable and I haven't had any problems other than regular maintenance. The windows unfortunately do not roll down anymore and it is very inconvenient.

- Alice E

This car is very roomy and it is very dependable.

I like how it looks, the way it handles, the dependability.... It has a blind spot behind the back windows and I do not like where they put the garment hanger..

- Jo Ella B

Not much cargo space inside vehicle when seats are filled with occupants.

I dislike the storage space that it has. I would love to have stow and go seats. I love the space for seating for my family. I love the mpg for highway driving.

- Angela H

Great for a mid to large size family.

I love the size, it is a large SUV. The sound system is pretty good for a base model. I like the style compared to other makes. I do not like the gas mileage.

- Michael V

Reliable, smooth and perfect for my family of 5!

I love it. Rides smoothly. Big enough to fit my family but does not feel too big for me to drive. Only issue is the blind spot visibility is hard in that car.

- Erika S

I would say that it drives well and its spacious.

I like all of the space with the 3rd row. I dislike that it has cloth seats and the second row seats are not very easy to pull forward to get to the 3rd row.

- Angelica W

It's been the best and most amazing family car I have owned.

Only issue I have found is the sound system makes a weird chiming sound that rings five times through the speakers after about an hour of the car being on.

- Billie S

Great choice of vehicle for family or retirees.

Great performance, lots of room, plenty of storage. Always dependable. Great mileage. Love the front and rear air conditioners. . Easy adjustment of seats.

- Marcia D

Nice 8 passenger car with lots of room for all 8 passenger.

The car is an 8 passenger car which is fantastic. It currently has no air conditioning and the antenna does not work, so not the best as far as longevity

- Lori C

It has a small amount of space to store things in the back.

I like that it has plenty of room for our family, rates high on safety ratings, and is comfortable. I dislike the small amount of space in the very back.

- Daniel W

It is a very safe vehicle.

It has a lot of room. Very safe vehicle. No complaints on this vehicle. With it being a bigger vehicle it does take more gas but its not as bad as some.

- Michelle B

How easy it is to get in and drive.

I like the size of it to fit 8 people. It drives great. Dislike the gas due to cost. It has a lot of room for storage. The seats fold down with ease.

- Judith R

If you take care of it and do all the check ups on it then it will treat you well. Also to know that it's good for smaller kids but maybe not bigger teenagers.

I like that it is big enough for our whole family of 6 and has leather, DVD player and sunroof. I don't like that it uses a lot of gas to get around.

- Erica C

It's great for a family of 5. Lots of cargo room and the ability to fold down part of the rear bench while leaving a sitting spot is very helpful.

We love the 2nd row bucket chairs. We've had a little bit of problems with the A/C last year and the rear hatch this year. It's been very reliable.

- Athena S

Traverse for a family of 5.

Love the size, and amount of seats. I do not like that seats do not store easily and cannot take out. Needs more storage space behind third row.

- Angela H

It a SUV that has a lot of room.

I like the backup camera so I know who behind me, so I do not hit someone. I like the speaker, it sounds loud and sounds good. I like the size.

- Jerome J

That it is a great family car and I feel very safe in it when I drive it.

I love that it has 7 passenger seating and also that it comes with heated mirrors. If anything I wish that I had slightly better gas mileage.

- Bethany T

It is a great family car that can seat 8 people.

I like that it seats 8 people and has fold down seats for a huge trunk space. I also like that its big and safe. I dislike the gas mileage.

- Rebekah B

Covering all parts on car for Warranty

converter on exhaust rotted and had to be replaced and tires are starting to get bad insurance didn't cover this item even with deductible

- Kimberly J

It's so roomy! This is, by far, the best car I've ever owned.
