Love my Ford Escape! Highly recommended!

I love the Ford Escape. It is a very reliable car and I have had zero mechanical issues with it. Even though it is 6 years old, everything functions perfectly and I love the sync feature to use voice commands to use my mobile phone, play music, etc. The gas mileage is very good on this car, making it very economical to drive. My Escape has excellent room for passengers and cargo. five passengers with all of their luggage have been on multiple road trips and nobody is cramped for space. I love the reliability of Ford cars and I will continue to buy them for many years to come. When I can afford a new car, I will definitely be buying another ford. I love the built-in features letting you know when tire pressure is low, when it is time for an oil change, etc. The voice commands with sync are very intuitive and easy to follow. Pairing your phone is quick and easy. I can wirelessly play all the music on my phone with the Bluetooth connectivity and call anyone in my phone's address book. The electric driver's seat adjustments go in every direction imaginable and they are easy to do on the fly. There are numerous spots for storage including the normal glove compartment, a convenient storage compartment between the front seats, and a large cargo area in the back. For additional cargo space, the back row of seats can be lowered flat which has proved valuable to me many times. It helps when purchasing large items, making an extra large warehouse store run, and helping friends and family members move! I highly recommend the Ford Escape!

I love the size. It is perfect is terms of safety.

It is a very reliable car. I have had it for 6 years now and it still runs very well. The features are a little outdated in it but it was my first car so I cannot complain that much. The seats are fabric which makes them extremely susceptible to stains. I have accidentally spilled water on my seats and that left a huge dark stain. I also had a big problem with the air conditioning in that car. I got the coolant and everything else that you could think of that would fix the air but nothing worked. If it was 70 degrees or hotter outside then my air would not work and it would just blow hot air. So it is very important to check and make sure all of the air conditioning and heat works. I have had very minor problems with the car. The engine in my car is very small, I believe a v4 which is very small compared to my dad's Ford Explorer with a v10 engine. When driving this car you have to be careful when accelerating because the rpm will shoot up towards 5 very quickly every time you accelerate. That is really the only big thing that stinks about having the smaller engine. In the winter I have had no major problems driving in the snow. I have never gotten stuck anywhere in my car because of the snow. When I do go to accelerate in the snow sometimes the tires spin. It is occasionally hard to get traction even with the good winter tires I had on my car.

2012 Ford Escape: a nice car if it had working a/c.

The 2012 Ford Escape is simply a decent car. I must say that it does look really nice, and has been pretty reliable as well. However, about 1 year into my ownership of the car, which I bought brand new straight from the local Ford dealer, the air conditioning stopped working. It has not worked since. It is very frustrating in the extremely hot summer months to have a car without air conditioning, but I have been quoted a ridiculous price to have the air conditioning in the car fixed, so I must continue to drive it without any air conditioning at all. Whenever the temperature is below 80 degrees, the car is great, and I love driving it. However, when the weather is hotter outside than 80 degrees it is awful driving the car as my back drips in sweat, ruining whatever shirt I am wearing. It is simply frustrating to drive a car in the hot midwestern summer months without air conditioning.

Capable of getting me everywhere I need to go with everything I need to take.

It runs great and has carried me cross-country at least 7 times in 2.5 years as I move frequently for work. Lots of space inside the car and very reliable in the middle of nowhere. Never let me down. Fuel mileage is decent for an SUV and the AWD is great in most inclement weather and when offroading (ish!). Only issues are minor wear and tear (no more than expected with the age and mileage of the car through) and some rust in the wheel wells. I do currently have lower quality tires, which do not pair well with the traction control in deeper snow, but the traction control has definitely saved me from spinning or sliding many times. Overall a great car for me as I am mechanically useless and not always the most confident of drivers. Its had no major issues and only needed routine maintenance while I have owned it.

A beautiful and smooth ride.

We have had this car for a year and haven't had any problems! It drives wonderfully very smooth. Love the radio it has Sirius as well as a Bluetooth option. The sunroof is a great addition the kids love having it open during the summer. Seats are so comfortable the back is spacious plenty of leg room. The steering wheel has voice control and you can change the radio from t as well. I love that it gives you how many miles till your empty I of all people need that haha ran out of gas to many times trying to guess. Has the outside temperature shown. The middle console is deep and has levels which is nice to store items. This is by far my favorite vehicle even got my brother in the process of getting one as well.

The car will be worth its value, and will last for years to come.

I bought the car brand new and have never had any issues with it. Only general maintenance- tires, brakes etc. I get routine oil changes and so far the engine and transmission have held up well with no issues. The interior of my car has held up extremely well- I have leather seats and there are no tears or breakdown of them. My only complaint is over the last year there has been some rust developing to the rear wheel-wells that has continued to spread. There is no other rust to the rest of the exterior. This car has definitely kept its value. I have paid the car off completely and plan to continue to drive it into the ground and hope it will last me another 5+ years.

The cargo space is not as big as it appears. You don't see that in a test drive. Only when actually using the vehicle.

I wish the back seats folded flat instead of at an angle. It makes it difficult to use the whole back area for something big. The vehicle looks big, but once you put groceries in the cargo area it's smaller than it looks. I wish the cargo area was a little wider. I wish the back seat had a fold down console in the center to hold drinks, in addition to the drink holder at the top of the front console. If the 2 people in front have water bottles and get fountain drinks, you're out of room. I wish there was more leg room. Both people need the seats all the way back leaving little room for anyone in back. I wish there was a full sized spare.

A review on my Ford Escape.

I really enjoy driving my Ford Escape. It drives easily and is very controllable. My Escape has help up very nicely considering that it is not the newest model. There are even lights that come on in the car at night. You can adjust the color to your preference. I would definitely recommend a Ford Escape to anyone that is looking for a new reliable car to drive. Both my mom and step mother have Ford Escapes and they love theirs as well. Mine is gray. Everyone I know that is familiar with this type of car has nothing bad to say about it. I love the heated seats. They are perfect for a cold winter day. Truly a life saver!

My 2012 Ford Escape limited edition. Full power a. C/ heat fan

. I have a 2012 Ford Escape limited edition. I do love my car. It has black leather heated seats and plenty of room. One thing I am unsure about is if it's all wheel drive or not. When title is run it says that it is. But it does not say any where on the car that it is. I did buy it used. So keep that in mind as your reading this. The air flow knob only works on high. No lower settings work. The fan is constantly on high when on that is. And the a. C pump has been replaced also. Which the a. C does not work. If the those 2 things worked I would honestly give this vehicle my utmost number 1 rating.

- Jess P

Needs a locking glove compartment.

I find the power assist driver's seat really helpful as I have shoulder problems. The 4 upfront cup holders are very useful. I find the repurposed cigarette lighter as a phone charger more useful in today's society and cleaner with no ashtray. I also love the fact that there is a overhead bin for both the driver and passenger to store their sunglasses. About the only thing I do not like about the car is that the glove compartment does not lock- I have never had a car before where the glove compartment didn't lock. Even in my previous edition of this same car the compartment locked.

- Lynn S

Safe and comfortable family vehicle.

Very dependable. I do not have any motor or transmission problems. It has hands free so I can use my phone without taking my eyes off of the road. I have three children and it fits them comfortably. The mileage is ok. I fill up a little more often than I would like to. The traction and braking is good in the rain. I do not slip all over the road as I have with previous vehicles. The speakers in it blow easily though so be careful to pay attention to the volume. I also like how the back seats come out to give more room in the back when I need to transport something large.

- Nina M

My 2012 Ford Focus is a great car.

My Ford Focus is a great, dependable car. It is good on gas mileage and handles well. I find the seat to be very comfortable. The only thing that I dislike is a blind spot. I have to turn my head to see if anyone is coming next to me. Also, when you raise the headrests, it is very difficult to get them to go back down. My 6’3” husband thinks the seating is too tight but it is my car and he rarely drives it. Being an older lady, I find my car to be just right for me. Also, it has good trunk space and when you lay down the back seats, you have great space.

- Susan B

Black 2012 Ford Escape in great condition is wonderful for long trips.

The car is wonderful! It has lasted me 6 years and had minimal problems. The biggest issue has been the fact that the car door leaks rain water into it. My car is black with nice leather interior. It gets good gas mileage and is great for long trips. It is spacious to fit things as well. Folding down the seats makes it more than capable of carrying large loads of things. The car also has a nice backup camera which is very helpful, it also beeps when in reverse. The sun roof is nice in the warm weather and the heated seats are lovely in the winter.

- Sarah B

I love that the back seats fold down completely.

My car does not have four wheel drive. Which means it does not handle well in the rain at all, and only handles okay in the snow with big tires. Also my car has a high roll over rate and you can definitely tell why if you take corners to fast by accident. The interior is great and very spacious. Especially with the back seats being able to fold down completely! That is a major plus. Have used it to move many times and has the ability to fit many things. Overall no regrets on buying this car. Just be careful on those turns and the rain!

Escape hybrid plus review. Mileage can be no better

Great mileage, comfortable and good addition to household. Only one major problem, master cylinder failed with car having only 29000 miles on it during end of 3 year of ownership. Took a while to diagnose since warning came on only intermittently. No cost to repair as it occurred on last day of warranty. Good cabin room and cargo storage. It is a hybrid and I love the mileage, someday reaching 40 plus mpg on longer hauls. Extended the warranty with Ford for my convenience, since I live alone. Would highly recommend

My Escape! My perfect mommy mobile!

I bought my vehicle in 2013 whilst I was expecting my first child. I wanted something a little lager and safer than the sedan I previously owned. The Escape was the perfect vehicle for my needs. I have only had to keep up with routine maintenance since purchasing this vehicle. Regular oil changes etc. . . And she runs like a champ. Cost effective for a new single mother too! I fill my tank up once every couple of weeks. I was involved in a pretty nasty accident and walked away unharmed!

- Sarah W

Is this for scooting or traveling?

I have had no problems with my ford escape, regular maintenance is the key. Performance wise it is a good vehicle for scooting around town doing errands. Great gas mileage. Always reliable like every other ford SUV I have owned. Comfort, not so much, the front seats are not deep, school bus seats are deeper. Make it very uncomfortable for distance traveling. Would I purchase this again? Yes, for the wife to get around in. However my next purchase will be the ford edge.

- Vincent C

The most important thing to note about my car is that it does great on gas.

My vehicle is very reliable. I can always count on getting from place to place. The comfort of my car is awesome, it has heated seats and also has a backup camera. The only problem I have had with my vehicle is getting sync to connect to my phone properly so I could play music from my iPhone. It gets great gas mileage, highway and city. A feature I really enjoy is the colorful lights that you can change to any color located inside the car, that light up at your feet.

- Samantha B

Very reliable and good on gas mileage.

I live my vehicle. It is good on gas mileage and the performance is high. It rides so smooth that it glides. My Ford is very reliable and comfortable. I have been everywhere in this vehicle with no problems. I love the features on the wheel where I can control the radio and etc. without reaching over which is uncomfortable. This feature is also great so there are no accident. The seats are so comfortable. I have not had any major problems after four years.

- Renee C

It's easy to drive faster than you think you are going because it doesn't feel like you are going that fast.

I love my vehicle because it is the perfect size for me. I don't have a family so it is just myself. I like having the extra room so I can carry several bags, boxes or large items. I can drive several people, if needed. I feel like I am seated high enough. I like having all the cup holders. I like the extra large & spacious compartment between the seats. I just wish the glove box were larger. I also wish the gas mileage were a little bit better.

- David P

2012 Ford Escape great family vehicle.

I love that I can fold my seats flat and have a huge area to haul stuff. Even with the seats up, there is a great amount of room to use. The front seats are roomy as well, and the seats are adjustable for my fiancé to drive as well. My kids car seats fit great and the child lock features are a lifesaver. The CD player and satellite radio is great. I like the extra storage in the middle console. It rides smooth, and all wheel drive comes in handy.

- Megan L

Plenty of space in a convenient sized vehicle.

Love that it seems like it has a lot of room inside, but it is not an overly large vehicle when it comes to parking. Seats fold down for lots of storage space in the back. Seems like it has good gas mileage, and is always a very smooth ride. The leather interior is nice and I love the heated seats. Have had only one problem with the air conditioning. The lowest two settings stopped working out of nowhere. Also there are no air vents in the rear.

- Casey W

Very fuel efficient in the city for its year.

The seats are comfy, new parts are cheap to come by if you want to change anything (like replacing speakers which I did myself). The only problem I notice is sometimes it has a loud noise when idling. But there is nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle. It has sync which allows Bluetooth connection to your phone. I love the look of this vehicle because it does not have a touch screen radio but rather buttons.

- Katie S

It is mine and I take good care of it and have regular maintenance performed.

I like the size, shape and style of my Ford Escape. It is built on a truck platform whereas the 2013 and new models are built on a car chassis. Thus the handling of mine is more like a truck or suv, while newer ones handle like a car. Mine has many features that I like : heated mirrors, heated seats, sunroof, tow package and satellite radio. No complaints at all. I love the color and found just what I wanted.

- MARI M

I highly recommend the 2012 ford escape!

The reason I love my ford escape is because of the gas mileage, heated leather seats, jukebox CD player, power steering, small compact, power windows and seats. By keeping it maintained and in good condition, the car has been amazing. I have had it since 2012 and thank goodness it has not given me any problems. I highly recommend the ford escape to anyone who wants a reliable, smooth and comfortable SUV!

- Pat W

A safe, stylish, SUV that we feel good letter our kids drive.

Very reliable. It handles very well in all kinds of weather. It is gas mileage is very good considering it is 6 years old and can fit a lot of stuff for travel. We got it because it sits up off the ground much better than a car and is a lot safer than most cars out there. Our 2010 Escape is now our daughters that she drives back and forth from college and it gives my wife and I piece of mind.

- Lawrence N

The 2012 Ford Escape is a very reliable, and comfortable SUV for families.

My 2012 Ford Escape is amazing, very smooth driving, comfortable seating, enormous trunk that is great for any extra storage. It also comes with a Bluetooth speaker for your phone to make calls and play music! It's very safe and reliable. Tells you how many miles are left and 50 miles until e. It fits 2 very big car seats with still plenty of room for diaper bags, or storage holders.

- Kory O

Reliable vehicle so far; no major problems.

The 2012 Ford Escape has so far been a great vehicle! No major problems, and so far has not left me stranded. As long as you are good about getting the maintenance performed on time, you should have limited problems. It helps to purchase from a Ford dealer that has the customer for life program which includes free oil change every 7500 miles, rotate all tires, and top off all fluids.

- Donna P

The sport package looks great with black rims and all black leather interior.

I am the original owner of my 2012 Ford Escape and have had no mechanical issues. The car continues to perform nicely. It is a great car for a single person or small family. The back seat is fairly small, getting two car seats in next to each other is not easy, but definitely doable. The car handles great. The interior has help up nicely over the years, and I love the paint color!

- Heather B

It's a great car for hauling things like dogs and kids with their sports equipment.

The Escape is a mid-size SUV which is the perfect size for a family, not too big and not too small. It doesn't have a lot of power but it's great on gas compared to the BMW I used to have. I bought it with 112,000 miles on it and now have 148000 miles and I have had no breakdowns. I have had to replace battery and tires though. However, I do get it serviced on a regular basis.

- Yvette N

Comfortable and maneuverable.

Very reliable. Easy to drive and maneuver. Gets good gas mileage. Comfortable seating. Cannot easily haul big loads such as construction materials. Eg: plywood, drywall or boards longer than 6 feet but, it does have a good amount of storage area. The transmission does a nice job of slowing the vehicle down when the accelerator is released without having to overuse the brakes.

- Kenneth K

It is the perfect size for a small family or a single person.

I have had my car for about four years, purchased it with 40 thousand miles on it and have put about 60 thousand on it. I have had no problems other than routine maintenance issues, oil changes, new tires, etc. The only thing I wish I had with it is Bluetooth, I guess when they made my car you had to purchase Bluetooth capabilities instead of it already being an option.

- Mckenna A

It does very well on gas whether or not you are driving long or short distances.

It is a fairly strong car. I haven't had major problems with it except the one time when the battery needed to be replaced but this wasn't truly a problem with the vehicle. It does well on gas if you keep the level above half a tank. We have driven it to and from florida and wisconsin with no problems given the extreme temperature difference between the two states.

- Gabby D

My errand running Ford Escape.

My Ford Escape is very well suited for my errand running days. There is plenty of room in the back to hold all of my groceries and any other bags I may accumulate while I am picking up things I need for my household. I only wish the Escape had a bit more "go" to it. It is often sluggish when accelerating which can be a bit tricky in heavy traffic or when merging.

- Deb P

Favorite car I have driven!

My 2012 Ford Escape has been amazing! I have been driving it for 4 years. I keep up with my oil changes and tire rotations. It does have a high idle when stopped for too long and the car is in drive. This is due to the engine size apparently. The gas mileage is reliable. I have not had any major issues with my car yet. It is the perfect size and shape for me!

- Meghan D

The Ford Escape is a comfortable, roomy and safe vehicle!

The 2012 Ford Escape that I drive is very comfortable and roomy. It has heated seats for our cold winters. We have older children and it has plenty of room for the 4 of us and we have a large German shepherd who fits well in the back. The Escape gets great gas mileage. Also, the Escape sits high so I can see traffic very well and is a very safe vehicle.

- Larry N

Great fuel mileage, comfortable, roomy in a small package!

Great gas mileage, especially highway miles. Has been a very good low maintenance vehicles. Not eat up with power but definitely gets me there. The interior has plenty of room, considering it is a compact SUV. It gets around 25 mpg on the highway, comfortable ride, and handles well. Overall I would recommend a ford escape and consider it a value.

- Tim R

My ford escape was well worth the wait!!

I waited until I found this specific year/model/color/& features that I wanted. I did not settle and, finally, found exactly what I wanted! My vehicle has: Bluetooth capability so that I may answer the phone hands-free; gray leather (heated) seats; and Siriusxm satellite radio. The vehicle color is a beautiful metallic silver... I love it!!

- Sue L

The 2012 Ford Escape is an all around great SUV for a smaller size SUV.

I like my Ford Escape because it has a boxy style that they don't make any more. It looks like the older SUVs. It handles good, and is fairly reasonable on gas. I do wish they had kept the controls from the 2007 model; this one is less comfortable to reach everything inside, and harder to adjust the seats. Plus I don't like the side mirrors.

- Constance R

Mud size and very comfortable to drive.

Very love it because it is comfortable, not to small and not crammed up when driving or riding in it. The midsize is also cry important to me because I do not have a lot of extra weight driving around with. Good on gas, interior ivory beautiful as well. This is my second one and I will no doubt get a third one if I have to. Love it, love it.

- Jennifer B

The mirror shows you what’s behind you when you are backing up.

My Escape is easy to drive. The 4 wheel drive keeps me on the road all the time. It has heated leather seats that are nice. The interior has a computer system that makes it easy to make phone calls etc. It is very roomy. It has heating or cooling that you can customize to your side of the car. The mirrors outside the car are heated as well.

- Vicki B

2012 ford escape limited SUV.

The seal around the rear windows leaks bad. Also, fender metal around the rear tire wells have a lot of rusting occurring. Engine runs well, and all wheel drive functions as expected. Seats are comfortable, for being a small crossover SUV. Handling feels fine. Transmission gearing feels like you are over accelerating in the lower gears.

- Adam W

My vehicle is compact but big enough for me. It is easy to get into and out of.

I currently have very few, if no, complaints about my vehicle. It gets great gas mileage, it is easy to handle, has enough room for me. The controls for the radio are on the steering wheel so I do not have to reach or take my eyes off the road to adjust the radio. It is not too distracting to drive with too many buttons or programs.

- Virginia D

It is a dependable vehicle.

I have the Ford Escape Limited with leather seats, a sunroof, and aftermarket additions like running boards and a bug shield. I like the look of the vehicle, and I like the way it handles. It's a perfect size -- not too big, but not too small. And I like that it has safety features like a backup camera and an upscale sound system.

- Scott E

Fuel consumption is great.

Very reliable, dependable. Its tells you how many miles left on your fuel. Very comfortable to ride in. Things are at your fingertips to reach. Storage space is very useful in doors and in back of seats. Trunk space is adequate for stacking. Heated seats are wonderful for a person who is always cold while others are comfortable.

- Susan T

Love how many USB outlets there are.

Love my Ford Escape it is reliable and fun to drive with great space for traveling and my dog cooper loves riding into the back seat! I hope to keep my Ford Escape for a long time and believe it will keep running smoothly for years to come. I recommend this car for those who love the outdoors and want a great car to travel with.

- Jessica C

Low maintenance ugly color (Grinch green) wish it was higher off the ground.

Low maintenance but it is an ugly green color. (only one available at the time my other one died) pushing back seats a hard to fold down. Driver seat is comfortable. Like the keypad in case you lock your keys inside. Had to put mud flaps on myself. Wish it was higher off the ground. No much get up and go but pretty good on gas.

- Kathryn E

An aging Ford very reliable.

I like my vehicle. Very reliable. Has high mileage and continues to perform at a high level. Only issue it has had that has needed fixed we're with the climate control systems. Transistor that controlled the speed at which the air came out broke leaving the air stuck at 4 and unable to change. All in all a very good vehicle.

- James H

It's a great family SUV with enough power to get us around safely while hauling small loads. My wife and kids love the neon lights that accent the interior. The seats are very comfortable and easily refrangible.

It drives really well in all weather. Gets good traction in bad weather. Has pretty decent gas mileage for a SUV. Isn't too big but also is not too small. We are able to haul a family of 4 and go on shopping trips without feeling cramped. We have never had any major problems with it mechanically which is a huge plus!

- michael T

Ford Escape pros & cons: good size for a sports mom but more space wouldn't hurt.

It is pretty reliable and I love that it takes flex fuel but I wish it was a little bigger. A third row of seating would be perfect or even just a longer trunk would make a difference. I have a sunroof though I do not use it often. The rear door does get stuck sometimes and that is my least favorite thing about the car.

- Allie H

Mainly the engine is the most important detail. The 3. 0 v6.

The 2012 Ford Escape is a great vehicle. Especially for beginner drivers. It is a good size SUV, not too big and not too small that would cause safety issues. It has a 3. 0 v6 engine that most people say will last forever. I bought my car a year and a half ago at, 110, 000 miles and never had any problems with it sense.

- Taylor M

White 2012 ford escape XLT.

The vehicle is fairly small, but works for me driving to and from work and school. The gas mileage is okay, but could definitely be better. Is not bank breaking to fill the tank. There was a plastic piece underneath my car that wasn't very sturdy. Fell off about a year after having the car. Overall it is a decent car.

- Gabby H

Ford Escape: medium size, maximum enjoyability.

Very reliable, really enjoy the dual temperature setting. Haven't had too many problems, just the normal wear and tear that comes from owning a vehicle for a while. The interior is comfy but sitting in the back seats for long trips really starts to hurt after a while and makes it very hard to be comfortable or sleep.

- Tommy C

Paintjob is amazing interior is decent.

The problem wrong with my vehicle is a lot. There is problem with the clutch. It was like that when I bought it. But they wouldn't give me my money my back. There's also a problem with my engine lights. They show up. For no reason. Also the gas gauge is broken. Just multiple reasons I strongly dislike this vehicle.

- Ryan S

It is comfortable and easy to drive.

My SUV gets very good gas mileage. It has had very little repair needed, mostly rotors. It is comfortable and is good for hauling large items as well as pulling our small trailer. It is reliable even in very cold weather. It always starts. It is easy to get replacement parts when needed at local auto supply stores.

- Shelley J

Country driving my Ford Escape.

Very reliable. Great drive comfortable great gas mileage. Used in a rural area lots of stress and still drives great. The only problems we have had are with the catalytic converters they have been replaced not cheap and she kept on going. The sunroof is one of my favorite features its great driving in the country.

- Nikki A

It is loaded with safety features that makes me feel more confident when driving.

I have owned this vehicle for 3 years and like everything about it. It handles great and is roomy without being too large. It has great gas mileage , tons of features including a lot of safety features. I have had no problems with it which is great. It has good styling. I have never regretted buying this vehicle.

- Frances S

Love the Ford Escape, such a reliable and friendly car.

Good gas mileage, runs well, I love having the padlock outside my door, perfect size for me and a lot of trunk space, have had problems with the brakes but nothing terrible, this is the car that is perfect to drive long distances, I have a lot of miles on it and it still works perfectly especially for road trips.

- Maggie D

Comfortable and roomy ford escape 2012.

For 4 cylinder it performs nicely. Great gas mileage. For a smaller SUV comfort is good and it has more room than some of the newer models..Good cargo space and back seat is comfortable and roomy. This SUV also sits higher than newer ones making it more accessible for some older folks and some handicapped people.

- Judy P

Good size, perfect back up camera, loud car.

The thing I love most about my Ford Escape is the size. It is not too large, but is big enough for a good sized SUV. I love my backup camera and how it is located on the rear view mirror. One thing I am not crazy about is the loudness of the car. It has always driven loud and is slowly getting louder as it ages.

- Kayla S

A reliable, comfortable car for all road conditions. .

Incredibly comfortable and roomy, even for long trips. I have never had any problems with its performance during all seasons. Does well in the snow. The Bluetooth feature is handy and easy to manage. I was in one crash, but the sturdy frame of the vehicle offered great protection so I walked away with no injury.

- Kourtney L

Great vehicle, will definitely buy another when I need to.

I haven't had any problems so far with my Escape. I have had it for 4 years. I live in upper Michigan and have no issues driving in the winter. It is very comfortable. , even when driving long distances. It gets good gas mileage. The only thing I have had to fix so far is the front brakes needed to be replaced.

- Janet E

My vehicle is a great sized SUV for everyday driving.

I have never had any problems with my vehicle. The size is perfect for me for driving to work every day and running errands. I love the Ford sync system that is in the car. It is great for listening to your own music. It also allows for your phone to Bluetooth the car and answer calls hands free while driving.

- Hannah R

2012 ford escape is overall a great vehicle.

I am overall happy with my ford escape. I like how it rides. I needed something that sat a little higher up than a sedan for the backroads I go on all the time for work. It is fairly comfortable as well. It has a problem where it occasionally shifts hard but I've not been able to take it in for service yet.

- Keys S

Overall best Ford SUV vehicle.

I absolutely love my 2012 Ford Escape. This year still has the boxer body style and does not look like every other vehicle on the road. It is equipped with heated leather seats, navigation, and a moonroof. It is comfortable for long trips and I have only had to replace my a/c condenser, it is very reliable.

My Ford Escape is an excellent SUV.

Love sitting higher than a sedan. No problems in 5 years. Very reliable. Comfortable on trips. Back opens easily for groceries. Seats are fully adjustable. I can answer my cell phone on the steering wheel. I can adjust my radio also on the steering wheel. I can set my cruise control on the steering wheel.

- Diane C

It is a good, reliable car. It gets you where you need to go.

It is an old car. There has been a lot of problems with the air conditioning. We've gotten it fixed a handful of times and in the summer it somehow continues to break. During heavy rain storms, the ceiling leaks a bit and the floor gets soaked. However it drives smoothly and I ultimately feel safe in it.

- Anna F

No always a good deal. Buy new is better.

Dash lights shorting out. Check engine lite wont go off. I love the ride and the legroom and good for traveling. I have XLT so extra long. To carrying all my shopping and moving stuff in. Can put 3 car seats in the back seat. But need to put a locking gas cap on. And doesn't always seal the gas cap area.

- Melinda T

Has a backup camera that really helps when you cannot see everything behind you.

Comfortable, up to date Bluetooth, drives very smooth, ac, heat, heated seats, I would very much recommend this vehicle. Let’s you know when it is time to change the oil. The heated seats are very nice in the winter. Has an automatic start device. Answering the phone on my Bluetooth is very convenient.

- Crumb C

Love my Escape that features heated, leather seats and a great towing package.

I love the heated, leather seats as well as the towing package. It has enough power, as it is a 6 cylinder engine. The lift hatch helps keep you dry as you load groceries (should it be raining) and it has space for storing needed essentials while still having open space for additional storage as needed.

- Sharon W

Very sleek and stylish, safe and reliable.

No real problems, been hit a few times by other drivers. Drives very nice, sleek interior with leather seats in black and nice stereo. Gas mileage is manageable, about 20 miles per gallon. Good and safe car, drives well. I feel safe in the car too, it is nice and high up so when you drive you feel safe.

- Bella N

The sun roof and trunk space are a plus, especially when you a dog.

I currently have an issue with a censor in my dashboard that causes my dashboard lights and dials to work incorrectly and also causes issues with getting my car to start. I love the great gas mileage, trunk space, and sun roof. It is a great family car to have despite the issue I am currently having.

- Jessica H

I do NOT like engines equipped with turbochargers; they fail and are expensive to repair (Ford EcoBoost engines are an example). the Ford 3-Liter fuel-injected engine I have is powerful and economical for the car's weight... highly recommended!

it's very convenient for travel to our 2nd home, a mountain cabin near Shenandoah, VA. mileage is adequate, but not as high as I might have liked. that's not a surprise for an SUV. it's roomy enough and comfortable. it is NOT as quiet at highway speeds as I might like; that could be the tires I use.

- ROBERT O

I bought this car because of the body style.

I love my 2012 Ford Escape because it still had the square body style. They changed the body style with the 2013 and I am not that crazy about cars that slant in the back. I love to drive it, have more cargo area than the 2013, and performs well. Only take it to a Ford dealer to have it worked on.

- Beverly M

Reliable vehicle for anyone

The only problem my car has right now is a small leak in the motor. The performance is great. I have had my car for just over a year and love it. It is super reliable and comfortable. The features this model has is six cord jack, CD player, am/FM radio, sirius radio capability, and cloth interior.

- Sarah M

Built Ford tough. Car runs perfect. Make sure you have a warranty.

Brake pad problems, air conditioning issues when purchased. Car runs perfectly, tire are running out of tread. Car is very comfortable for long road trips, Ford vehicles are usually built very tough. Car has been very dependable for three years. I plan on purchasing Ford vehicles from here on out.

- David H

I would recommend a ford escape I am sure they have corrected the problems.

The seat belt has always cut me in the neck, very annoying. The back up camera has stopped working correctly and I have had a busted radio speaker on the passenger side twice. Positives are no road noise, seat warmers are awesome, it has been very dependable for me and not too bad on gas mileage.

- stacy R

It is now old and used but I love my SUV.

I have had no problems with this car that was bought used. Just do maintenance and everything is great. The original battery died twice, once in -50 below weather and another time when I left the auxiliary stuff on but is still in use. Has electric windows and doors, sunroof. Lots of cargo space.

- Deb C

Ford's Focus on the future and it is Escape.

It is a very smooth/ quiet ride which is enjoyable. Unfortunately it is not wonderful on gas, but better than most SUVs. Heating and air condition work very well, so it is great for every season. I have had two Escapes now and I love them. Ford makes a very reliable car and is a trusted company.

- Marcus G

I love all the features of the car like the seats but I really love the sunroof.

Very reliable and has very good gas mileage. I enjoy the seats but I also enjoy leather seats. The radio has stayed good as well. The sun roof is always a bonus feature I love and use it often, the rear view window is also a perfect feature, it is easy to see out of compared to low riding cars.

- Allie R

That the trunk space is very small for a family of multiple kids.

I like that is is a small SUV which makes it easier for me to drive. At the same time I hate the lack of room on the inside. We have two car seats in the back that as squished in with no room for a middle person to sit. I also wish there was more room in the trunk for transporting large items.

- Stephanie T

Overall rundown of used car.

Very nice and easy ride, but it is a little old and could use some fine tuning. Does not pick up speed very good but it can scoot when you need it to. The interior is really nice and comfortable, cloth seats, not leather, no Bluetooth or at least I haven't found out how to work it if it does.

- Bradley M

This is a great small to midsize suv, perfect for commuting.

I love how easy it is to drive, the gas mileage is great for a city suv. I do wish that this car was larger since I have two car seats in the back, so I can't fit more than one passenger in the front. I am happy with this model as opposed to the 2013 model since it has minimal blind spots.

- Jennifer S

Blue Ford Escape, great overall buy.

It is a little small for a family. In that it is narrow for child car seats. We need to use a roof carrier to go on vacation. As far as day to day driving around town, it works for us. Overall, I really like the look of this model. It drives easily and we haven't had many problems with it.

- Erica G

The vehicle is called the frog because the color is green.

This vehicle has a lot of issues. The fan setting has only 1 speed that works. None of the lighters work in the vehicle making it difficult to charge cell phones. A fuel sensor light comes on a lot and tells us that something is wrong with the fuel cap something this vehicle does not have.

- Bridget E

This is the most versatile vehicle I have ever owned.

I love the roominess of the rear cargo area, and folding the back seats down for even more space is a cinch. The handling and gas mileage of the vehicle are fantastic, especially for a sport utility vehicle. I do not think that I have ever experienced any sort of issue with my ford escape.

- Jim G

My vehicle is a great size to handle on dry and wet roads.

I have not had any problems with my escape other than replacing my battery after 3 years of use. I find it a very comfortable car to drive as I have used it many times to drive from Florida to Massachusetts. I truly appreciate the heated seats when I am in the cold. It is very good on gas.

- BEVERLY P

I love my sport utility vehicle.

I love how my Ford Escape is a perfect fit for me. It is adorable, comfortable to drive and has great pick up when needed. . . But is good on gas. It looks sleek. I love the body style of this year and I would not trade it any time soon. I would buy my sport utility vehicle all over again.

- Dawn D

This car is really unnoticeable on the road.

The car that I dive in really in that eventful. The cabin is big, but that is all. The engine performance is really great. It packs a big punch when you have to hit the gas. The interior is cloth, so you know that It's not really a luxury car. This will be a great car for the average joe.

- Corey B

My 2012 Ford Escape review.

The car does well on gas mileage, it's very comfortable, could stand to be a little bigger, heat and ac work very well, accelerates very nicely, breaks work very well, headlights are bright, although the vehicle is small its roomy, speakers sound good and had a fairly decent factory bass.

- Gabby H

Good sized middle size SUV.

Have had lots of transmission issues recently. Other than that, it has been reliable. Love the size of the trunk space. The second row seating could have a little bit more leg room. The center console has a lot of storage, which is a major positive. Love the navigation system and radio.

- Erin P

My vehicle is blue and it has a sunroof.

I absolutely love my Ford Escape. I am coming from a smaller car so driving something bigger is new for me and it will help in the winter. I do not like that it isn't four wheel drive but it does have brand new all season tires on it so I will be fine. I am very happy with this vehicle.

- Jess B

If you'd like an SUV but don't want a big gas guzzler then this vehicle is a good choice.

We overall really enjoy our vehicle, it's what fits our family right now. What I don't like is that it being about 6 yrs old my weather sealant has already fallen off! I also don't like that when you Sync your phone it doesn't automatically reconnect when you get back into your vehicle.

- Priscilla A

Choosing a good SUV is all about the research. Do your research first.

If you are looking for a good reliable family SUV this is a good choice. It has 24 mpg (better than 18 in my Jeep) which helps since I drive in my self-employment. Love the radio, cell phone plug-in, Sirius XM, good road control. Not happy about the loudness of the six-cylinder engine.

- Cindy H

It is easy to drive and gets good gas mileage.

I have not had a lot of problems with this vehicle. It gets good gas mileage I just wish it had a little bigger tank. I do hear road noise if I do not have the radio on. It is small enough that I can park it easy in smaller spots. I like it but I would probably buy a little bigger SUV.

- Jodi P

Easy to care for. Ride is good. Plenty of room.

None as of 2017 other than general maintenance. Oil changes, brakes, tires etc. Very pleased with this vehicle. Gas mileage could be a little better. Only about 19 mpg. But it is a six cylinder. I would and at this point purchase another when that time comes. Overall I give a 10 of 10.

- Timothy C

It is my home away from home and I feel safe in my car.

My Ford Escape is just the right size for me and I thoroughly enjoy driving it. There is plenty of room for hauling anything from groceries to garage sale finds to garden supplies to kids equipment. When I need to replace this car, I will definitely replace with another Ford Escape.

- Jane S

Ford escapes are great they run with no issues mechanical issues and great on gas.

I absolutely love our escape we have never had any kind of mechanical issues with this suvit is now almost 200,000 mile and still running great. I also do not like to drive in the winter but this suv is great with the all wheel drive never have issues trying to drive in bad weather.

- Tera W

Ford cars are awesome highly recommend. Customer service is ok.

I like it a lot. It is very comfortable and it does not really have problems. I would recommend ford cars they are amazing. The only problem I can think of is the service with ford they are not treating us well. All in all 4 out of 5 stars. If you haven't tried ford cars you should.

- Allison R

It is a great car to have! Family size, great mileage, great on gas!

Its great! It has been very reliable, great to have. I love the features included, great on gas, 4 door, great space, good in the snow. All wheel drive, and a 4 cylinder. Have not had any major problems, and it has gotten me through bad winters. Drives smoothly, no serious problems.

- Carl Y

Great Ford Escape. Wonderful car with good gas mileage.

Nice size and shape, get good gas mileage. Love the color and very roomy, nice feel on the roads while driving. Enough room for my husband head. So far feels good and safe on ice and snow. We got the back up mirror and the expensive car mats which fit nice and keeps the dirt out.

- Sharon D

Great mid size SUV. Still gets great mileage!

It gets pretty good mileage, about 25 mpg. It does not have all the bells and whistles but I didn't want all that. Drives nice, just the right size for me. Had the Explorer before and that was just too big. 2012 was the last year of the boxer design which was also what I wanted.

- Karen M

Drives great. Recalls are a hassle.

This vehicle had a lot of recall that were taken care of time after time however, the car is performing great. The only reason it is not a five star is solely because they replaced my door panel with a different color and never made an effort to match it with the other doors.

- Jessica F

It is a perfect vehicle for long trips with its amazing gas mileage.

I love my vehicle. I have vet to have any major problems. The only thing I can think of is my ac will only works on full blast. It is reliable I drove to Illinois and back to my home in Mississippi and not the first problem. It has all the basic features which is plenty for me.

- Mason B

It is a nice size but beware of the issues I have had.

It has had a problem with the transmission since we got it and Ford has refused to address the issue. The backup camera rarely works and the navigation will not allow you to select just a city. You must have a street address and you cannot get a route from one state to another.

- Andrea B

Performance review on the 2012 ford hybrid escape.

As my review on the 2012 ford hybrid escape, the performance is quite stable, runs very smoothly and efficiently. The brakes can be a tad touchy, but nothing that is a huge problem. The front seats are quite comfortable. And back seats are roomy. Ac works really great as well.

- Vanessa W

Reliable vehicle with great cargo space.

The Ford Escape is very comfortable. It has been reliable with only minor maintenance issues. The cargo room is a big plus for us. Not enough room for really big things, but great for camping trips, vacations, etc. Our biggest complaint is the lack of legroom in the back seat.

- Melissa J

Good vehicle with no issues.

It is a great car that got me safely across the country in august of 2017. It was previously owned, but I have never had a problem with it that is not normal with vehicles. It has a lot of room and the gas mileage is pretty good, only cost me about $280 to drive from pa to co.

- Megan S

The Ford Escape offers good gas mileage, is roomy and smooth driving experience.

Some of the best features are the gas mileage, the interior is extremely roomy and comfortable. I like the style and design of the exterior and the vehicle is easy to handle and drives smoothly. The leather heated seats are wonderful in the winter time and look good visually.

- Lori S

Best Ford I have ever driven.

It gets great gas mileage. It is very comfortable. It rides nice. It has a lot of room and a great trunk space. I like that it sits up higher and can get through the snow. It handles well in the road. It runs well. It is easy to get into and out of. It has a wonderful radio.

- Julie W

There is no highlights to my vehicle.

Its a Ford not too thrilled it always has something wrong with it. I also don't like the way the Escape pulls when it drives. I would not buy another Ford again in my life. I had electric problems radiator problems alternator just lame. I prefer a Nissan over all vehicles.

- Valerie R

Great automatic 4 wheel drive. Has helped us miss hitting several deer the last few years.

The Sync & computer system is far from advanced and even when the vehicle was new in 2012, it seemed out of date. The automatic 4 wheel drive is the best feature. The vehicle is loud driving down the highway - you can hear the wind very loud and is not a very smooth ride.

- Halli R

My car has the ability to utilize E85, which is very helpful with the current gas prices in California. Though I sometimes wish I had purchased the hybrid version

My vehicle is a small SUV. I prefer this particular body style to the style of the newer SUVs because they are all more rounded and "car-like". My car has Microsoft Sync in it which is very problematic and glitchy, and I wish the bluetooth worked better with Apple products.

- Michelle L

Comfortable family vehicle.

Handles well, compact but big enough for a small family, comfortable. No big issues so far! The only minor issue I have had was realizing that there is a dial on the day that controls the interior lights. I just thought they were broken for the first year we owned the car.

- Tiffany M

Love the car, hate the brakes.

Well. It has this weird sound in the brakes. Like a squealing pig. Multiple dealerships say our brakes are fine but I do not really believe that. It squeals when it rains and occasionally when it is dry. It started back in 2016 when the car was being used for a road trip.

- Tavia M

Looks nice, rides great, makes driving fun.

We have had no problems with our escape. Bought the vehicle used with 12000 miles on it and have put on an additional 30000 miles in the past year. Love the ride, performance, load room, comfort and feel it is the best vehicle we have ever owned in fifty years of driving.

- Steve S

It has a lot of area to carry things in the back. If you need more space you can fold the back seats forwards. Love this model.

I love my 2012 Escape because the 2013 model was going to change the body style and look more slanted in the back, besides losing cargo space in the back. The 2012 model has a boxy look to it and that suits me just fine (smile). There's nothing that I dislike about it.

- Beverly G

Like green 2012 Ford Escape xlt.

It is not a very comfortable vehicle to drive for a long period of time, it drives very nice, gets good gas mileage, it has a moonroof, CD player, powered seats and windows, hahhahahahhahahahahhshshhshshhshshgsgshshhshshhshshshshshshshhshshshhsghshdjjsjdjhdhdhhdjdjhdhhd.

- Lacey D

it is dependable and has a good design with all wheel drive so i don't get stuck somewhere

i like the body design of my vehicle because it is a box style suv without being really boxy. a number of suvs these days are teardrop shaped and look more like minivans and i do not like that style. i do not have the most updated features in my car but it drives well

- katie f

Perfect modern car for all.

Great gas mileage considering SUV's, clean sleek look great for all ages, modern square design appealing to all, small comfortable SUV, easy to clean seat material, plenty of space for hauling items, hitch for those that want to us it for recreation, nice large mirrors.

- Jordan K

Safe car for teenagers to learn and use.

The car is wonderful. We chose it because we felt confident that it would be same as I learned to drive in high school. The engine can get you out of any problem. We have had to replace the alternator but otherwise it still works very well or the amount of miles on it.

- Ba E

Great SUV if you want something nice but on a budget.

I love the more boxy style of the SUV. It's sporty but not over the top. It's not super fancy but still looks nice and drives well. The seat fabric gets water stains easily and I've had a problem with rain leaking in during bad storms but other than that I love the car

- Julia C

Awesome Ford Escape for the value.

I have had to do no repairs besides the standard maintenance. This car drives well in both the winter and summer for being 2wd. I put snow tires on in the winter. Very comfortable for my height. This is a great car for the value, and I would definitely get another one.

- Elijah S

Nice reliable car has lots of room and comfortable seating.

It is a good car just need a new one has lots of room and comfortable setting need new tires but still in good condition for an starter car for any teen but definitely going to be thinking about buying a new one hopefully I can find another reliable car like this one.

- Amaya C

Best item on this auto is it displays how many miles left before you need fuel.

Standard factory speakers do not last long in these vehicles. Very comfortable ride depending on type of tires. Requires special oil for engine. Be prepared for expense as it has dual heat and air. It also has heated seats. Not many recalls on this type of automobile.

- Gregory W

The driver seat is electrical but the other seats is not.

I have had some minor performance issues like my hatching not opening, metal shards in my oil. Overall the car drives pretty well. It is doesn't get going very fast. Currently the sensor in my hatch does not work so it constantly says the glass or hatch is open/ ajar.

- Jessica W

I just summarize it in the last post but all in all the car is great.

I do not have vehicle problems. The car runs perfect all the time. Never really had any major issues. It is one of the best cares I have ever driven it is very durable. Good off-road as well we encourage anyone to get one. It is in perfect condition there is no worry.

- Christian L

Six years and still in love

I've had little to no problems with my vehicle and I've had it for 6 years. The battery has died a couple times but that's after reasonable things like leaving my lights on. I got into a major accident a couple years back and was fully protected in my car. I love it.

- Emily M

Family ride. A welcoming vehicle that holds the patrons well.

I used to have an Explorer but now we have the Escape. Is little bit smaller but does the job the same as the other one. There has been to major problems with the ride so far. I am hoping that we can get many more miles with this one before moving on to another one.

- Michael S

You would love driving this car.

The gas mileage is great. Love the color a slate grey color. Also gas mileage on the road is great also. Run s great. Seat five people comfortable. The one problem is that the brakes scrubs sometimes and have to go to the auto shop. Other than that the car is great.

- Sandra C

Lots of cargo space when the seats are up; you can fit a stroller at least. Seats are easy to fold if you need more room.

My Flex fuel Escape runs best on anything other than regular; like midgrade or premium. The view out the back window has a large blind spot down meaning seeing low ride cars, kids, dogs, ect that are directly behind you can be very difficult if you see them at all.

- Tara B

Great visibility with this hybrid escape.

I absolutely love my escape hybrid. It saves gas, has great visibility and is comfortable to drive and as a passenger. The back seats drop down to create a large cargo area. Love that there is no gas cap, just the door to the gas tank. I highly recommend this car!

- Mindy M

We are very happy Ford customers!

We love the height and the cargo space. We feel the high quality engineering, seat upholstery is great, have had since new and still looks new! The paint is holding up well. All systems seem to work as good as when as we first got the vehicle. Overall, very happy!

- Gail J

2012 Ford Escape: if you have to get one, it is not the end of the world!

This vehicle wasn't my choice. Like the black interior and blue exterior. Hate the boxy body style! Love that it is a small v6 and all wheel drive, that was very important to us. Speakers are ok, nothing fancy. Dash/console are cheaply made. Not impressed there.

- Cora H

The fact that it is flex fuel is very convenient.

I love everything about it. The performance is great. The gas mileage is decent. It seats my family of five comfortably. My favorite features are the heated seats, the remote start, the rear camera and that it is flex fuel. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

- Jennifer L

The Ford Escape is reliable, affordable, and stylish.

This is the old body style, no onboard navigation. But it has everything else, great fuel efficiency, good stereo, onboard wifi and calling works good, great smooth riding, leather seats, and laying down the seats leaves lots of room for moving or vacationing.

- Angela D

Strong and faster and save gasoline.

I enjoy the space, like the heated seats. I dislike the set up for the mileage, my key, and over all dash electrical. I cannot have it on without running for more than two minutes without needing a jump, and think it is pointless to have a 4 cylinder in an SUV.

- Kim C

Features of Ford Escape limited.

I really love my Escape limited, it has a driver seat heater. Easy to maneuver, and spacious. I am recommending this car. It is really a car for family of 5. I want to purchase another Ford car in the future. The features are so helpful like automatic sunroof.

- J. A

My first Ford - 2012 Escape.

Runs fine. But average gas mileage non-highway. Highway gas mileage reasonable. Handles well in rain, snow, ice. Good traction. Six-cylinder has good pickup, but as my first Ford car after three Chevrolets, this is not GM Chevy v6. Could be a little roomier.

- Mike F

2012 Ford Escape. Vehicle review.

My vehicle runs very well, it has cloth seats, CD player, rear windshield wipers, and a moonroof. It is very reliable and runs well with minimal problems thus far. I keep up with oil changes and tire rotation and since my purchase it has not had any issues.

- Kat J

The vehicle drives great but no updates features are available.

The problem I have with my vehicle is that it is too small for me and my family, the performance of my vehicle is fine, the reliability is fine, the comfort level is about a 4 1/2 and I do not have any features on my vehicle which duals as another problem.

- Beatress M

Love the size. Perfect for my commute, errands, and everyday life.

Has been fairly reliable, no major services needed, has needed tire changes. It is a perfect size for what I need. I enjoy the SUV style but it is not large or clunky. Very maneuverable and plenty of space to move stuff. Can fit a family if needed one day.

- Hannah L

Limited package - ford escape 2012.

This specific year tends to have issues with the electronic steering randomly failing and the motor on the hatch going out. Other than those potential issues the car runs very smoothly, is very comfortable to ride in, and the limited package is very sleek.

- Nicole H

It is a great car for the price and I always have liked fords.

Have to keep replacing fuses, and they are not where the book that came with the car says they are, also changing oil is not easy, everything is pricey to replace. Needs more coffee cup holders and trunk covers should free. Warranty should be for 10 years.

- Mary L

The best car I have ever driven.

It is a very reliable and responsive vehicle. The steering is tight and the gas and brakes are intuitive. It also has exactly the right amount of storage space in the trunk and leg room for both the driver and all passengers. I would heartily recommend it.

- Brendan D

The 2012 Ford Escape is more reminiscent of the old Ford Bronco. I look forward to 2020 when the new Bronco will be released to the public.

I chose the 2012 Ford Escape after driving the wheels off of a 2007 Escape. I picked a 2012 model because it was the last year of the old body design before they made it smaller like a crossover. Ford did well with this model, very durable and dependable.

- Lynn O

Great size, transmission shifting issues

It is a nice size SUV for a small family. The back seats fold down to allow for more space in the back. I have had problems with the transmission shifting very hard since buying it used, so I would recommend getting this checked before buying this model.

- Danielle P

Dependable and reliable vehicle.

None I love my Escape. It handles well I the snow and is very stable. The seats are very comfortable and I feel it is very roomy. The vehicle that I own does not have mechanical issues. I just take it in for oil changes and it is good to go on the road.

- Nicole W

Overall great car for comfort and safety.

Car has 114, 000 miles on it and runs a little loudly. But it is very comfortable and good for driving in poor Michigan road conditions such as potholes and snow. I wish it had newer features such as back up camera, leather seats, and blind spot lights.

- Amanda F

It's a great vehicle and if they ride with me they will enjoy it.

It has a very smooth ride. I've had it for a year-and-a-half and it has had virtually no problems. During that time I drove it across the country. The only thing I have a minor complaint about is it doesn't get great gas mileage but otherwise I love it!

- Henri G

The best investment I ever made.

Love the vehicle it is very reliable and gets you wear you need to be. Car is kind of small need a more room. Love the color and the body is very sporty. I am paying a lot a month. Tires breaks are not expensive. Would recommend this vehicle to others.

- Moe G

I like the sunroof and the rims.

It does not drive smoothly on the freeway. The interior stains awful and is not of high quality. The window does not unlock easily. For the price it does not have as many upgrades as it needs too. I feel like it does not compete well with other brands.

- Bianca P

The most interesting highlight of my Ford Escape is the ease of visibility.

I love my ford. It is dependable and reliable and comfortable. The visibility is excellent. When I take my vehicle in for service, I receive quality service. Also, the color of the vehicle is easy to keep clean. I have had no problems from my vehicle.

- Deborah L

It handles and does well in all weather conditions

My ford escape is all wheel drive which is great for WV weather, has remote start and handles the road very well. I have cloth seats which I dislike and they are the worst fabric ever to keep clean and to try to clean. Overall It's been a good car.

- KRISHNA R

To many recalls and defects with the Ford Escape.

This vehicle is known for having the rear window seal leak and it has to be replaced frequently. It does not handle well. It has had several recalls. I don't feel this car is a good value for what I paid for it. I would not recommend this vehicle.

- Gina C

A wonderful about Ford with SUV!

More comfortable and feel safe in the SUV of ford. Take care as well then the car will be fine for many years. Once you are crash the car and its ability to fix and stay longer. Best for travel with family and things too. Enjoy your pick a car.

- Cheyenne E

The Ford Escape is a reliable car, that rides comfortably and gets great gas mileage.

My Escape gets great gas mileage. I've never had any major problems with it at all. The only complaint I have is that when the sunlight hits the dash in a certain way, it's hard to see the time and temperature controls on the top of the dash.

- Julie G

For an SUV it's great on gas mileage! I get around 27 miles to the gallon.

I love my escape. I have back issues and it is easy to get in and out of on days that i'm really hurting. It has plenty of room for storage. if i could change one thing it would be that i would like a model with the option of 3rd row seating.

- Kasey G

The paint wears well and it has no scratches.

I really enjoy the fact that I get great gas mileage on my Ford Escape. It is a dependable vehicle. I use my car everyday so I would say for the most part I can drive with knowing I am in comfort. I can get great gas mileage as well.

- Joan O

Overall, it was definitely a practical choice.

In 6 years I have had only 1 major repair, the steering is smooth and the ride comfortable. The only hiccups are that the voice-activated sync likes to act up and that the 4-cylinder engine takes a little longer to pick up in speed.

- Kate S

She's has a very great audio system, and LED lights installed as well as leather.

I like that it is really reliable in the snow. I enjoy the amount of space there is for skis, vacations, etc. I like that it takes cheap gas. The thing I do not like is the engine is weak, and I would enjoy something more powerful.

- Jessica M

It is a great car for a growing family. Not to big or small.

Overall I love my car. It runs beautifully and has just the right amount of space. The only issue we have seemed to have with it is the ac. It only works on the highest setting and if It's really hot outside it will not work a all.

- Sarah M

It is an excellent choice in vehicle.

The only problem I tend to have with this vehicle is the gas, it eats up gas so fast, but that is a known factor when buying this vehicle. The performance, reliability and comfort are exceptional. It is features are nearly modern.

- Tee M

Ford Focus is a great vehicle

The Ford Escape is a remarkably affordable car with very good gas mileage. I have not had any major issues with the exception of an air conditioning problem. It was a minor issue but other than that it is really an awesome vehicle

- Royce S

Very reliable and tough vehicle.

I have had no problems with my vehicle besides normal wear and tear. It is very powerful for a midsize SUV. It is wonderful in the snow and have not ever been stuck in the snow. It also gets good gas mileage and is very reliable.

- Judy S

It has nice lines, comfortable interior, and fairly decent gas mileage.

Picked the 2012 because I liked the old body style not the new style that came out in 2013. I like the room in the cargo area without the vehicle being to large. It has a nice ride. I would however like the option of having a V8.

- Cindy P

It's a great vehicle. Very reliable. No issues other than the back window near the hatch leaking.

The car is great. The only issues I've had is the back window near the hatch leaks. It's been replaced twice and the problem continues. I bought the car brand new in 2012 and couldn't be happier other than I wish it had more room

- Nicole K

It is a very dependable car

I think that the vehicle is good for what it is. It has ample room for 4 but not 5. I think that there should be some changes made to the ergonomics but all in all it's a nice ride. The style is nice. It has the look of a SUV.

- Ronald H

It's a truck that drives like a car.

I love the safety and size of my Ford Escape. I was hit in 1 several years ago and if not for it's structural integrity, I wouldn't be here. I do enjoy the sunroof, but I wish the tire noise was less and fuel mileage was more.

- beth H

It is a dependable family vehicle with good gas mileage and plenty of storage space.

I love that it is a family-friendly vehicle. It sits higher like a truck, but it is small enough to maneuver easily, especially in tight parking lots. It also gets great gas mileage and has been very dependable for our family.

- Davina y

That is it decent and affordable nothing fancy, but it is a good car for younger people who need a good car that is not too expensive. THe seats heat in the winter so you are not cold for long.

I do not like Ford, therefore I do not Love the car. It drives ok, and I can control the radio and things from the steering wheel. The transmission is loud, but the car handles decent. Not my first choice but it works for now

- Heather N

We love our Ford and will buy another one!

We have no problems with this car. It currently has 120,000 miles and runs perfect! We bought it used after our other suvs transmission went out twice! We have had other Ford vehicles and they have always been very reliable.

- Paige T

Whether to get a warranty or not?

It is a great vehicle but it was made a bit on the cheap side so I have had a few issues with the body after 75k miles. A 75k mile warranty is not worth it, but if you insist on having a warranty, get one for 100-150k miles.

- Jenny B

Easy to drive and navigate in towns and parking lots!

I like that it is a smaller SUV, but it still allows me to haul things if needed. It is small enough to allow me to easily park. It is easy to drive and navigate. I just would like if it got a little better gas mileage.

- Rebecca f

One most important thing to know about my car is that it is safe for children.

What I like most about my vehicle is how it handles and is four wheel drive. I like that it's able to be used during the winter if needed. What I dislike is how small it is, I am not able to fit everything all the time.

- Donovan L

Quality for price Good gas mileage, dependable transportation

I am very pleased with durability, comfort and function on my 2012 Ford Escape I bought it pre-owned in 2014 since then have only needed to replace tail hatch mechanism. Presently have 150k miles, still going strong!

- Annette s

Perfect for a small family

It is small enough that it doesn't feel like I am driving a huge SUV but it is still big enough for me to carry our kids, animals, and luggage for a trip. It gets good gas mileage and is comfortable and easy to manage.

- Alice C

It's fuel efficiency and good handling.

It is fuel efficient and handles very well in summer or winter weather. It is a comfortable ride and plenty of room for passengers. It is a nice looking vehicle, but model does have a history of transmission issues.

- Carol W

It is large like a firetruck and can fit all of one's needs.

I like all off the space in the interior, but the car itself is large and bulky, making it difficult to park. It is a bright red color, so it is easy to spot in a parking lot. It also gets decent mileage for Its size.

- Olivia P

I feel safe when driving on the highways and very quiet.

I like because it is higher of the ground and I can get around in the winter. I don't like lifting my leg so high to get in. It is a solid heavier car for being safer on the highway. My car rides well and very quiet.

- Shirley H

Great gas mileage! Comfortable seating, smooth ride.

Very reliable, great on gas mileage! We had a Jeep for years, and bought this Ford Escape, and are very happy! We were pleasantly surprised at the gas mileage and wished we would have gotten a Ford Escape sooner!

- Melanie R

It has more space than you would think.

Like the size and diversity of the escape it acts as a way to work a truck for hauling items and a 4 person vehicle. Gets 28 miles to gallon and sets up high enough that I don't feel like i am crawling out of it.

- Jeff R

The SUV performs well and handles well

The only issue I have with this is the rear window, it constantly leaks around the seal, I have brought it in several times for adjustment, and they get it, but after a bit of time and use, starts to leak again.

- KP N

Its a 2012 truck, green color and runs great. Currently it has no problems.

I have a Ford escape truck. It's an ok condition. Its from 2012 so it's kind of old, green color but excellent performance. I love that it has leather seat warmers because those come in handy during the winter.

- Jaricza D

That it is not room and has very little head room in it.

I feel quite boxed in when driving this vehicle, there's not a lot of headroom in it. It seems to drive ok but does not have a lot of power to it. It's just an ok car to me not too bad but not too great either.

- Melissa R

Most important is the 4 wheel drive

I like that's it's a 4x4 and roomy. It gets me thru Michigan winters. I dislike the back window clips always work in the sun (gone thru 2 already) and the chrome around the drive stick it too shiny in the sun.

- Karen H

It is reliable and versatile.

I love my Ford escape. It is reliable and performs well on streets and highways. It has leather seats that are adjustable and because it is an SUV you sit higher than the average car so you can see much better.

- Barbara F

It holds up very well, smooth drive.

I like my car because it is an SUV. This means that it comes with a lot of room. It also means that it sits up high, unlike a regular car. I like my car so much that I will drive it until the wheels fall off.

- Linda M

She keeps on running well.

Sturdy vehicle drives well decent on gas sometimes it is too small to travel with reinstall in all I would recommend this vehicle to someone it is good on gas and has never given me any problems mechanically.

- Vincent G

Great car- spacious and easy to drive!

My car has been great to me! I love the additional space as it provides room for luggage when traveling, my pets and my school work. It came in handy when moving since the seats fold down. Great car overall!

- Stephanie S

Dependable SUV from a brand I trust.

I love that the Escape feels solid without being huge. It is the perfect size for one person. There's a lot of cargo space in the way back. And the boxy body style gives me great visibility out the windows.

- Ruth V

2012 Ford Escape Review - High Quality Vehicle

My Ford Escape has been a very reliable and versatile vehicle. I drive hundreds of miles each week for work and have only had to have routine maintenance performed. I would highly recommend this vehicle.

- Beth L

This vehicle is bigger than it looks...storage space, seating, torque and power while driving and comfort!

I like that it is the older body style and not the egg shaped new body style of the Escape. I like that it has heated seats. I like that it is a small but not tiny SUV and it sits up higher than a car.

- Misty M

It's a great car to teach teens to drive, the ease of steering, parking, and overall ease of driving makes this a great first car.

I love the size and ease of driving and parking. I completely dislike all the electronics that are wired into the hybrid. It never starts correctly in the heat and seems to constantly have recall issues.

- Tinker A

Good AWD SUV for the money

Very roomy. Not as nice as my previous Escape that was a higher trim level. 4-cyl engine gets much better mileage than expected. I dislike that it doesn't have great acceleration. No real complaints.

- Alex P

Low maintenance and easy to drive. Great for young families.

I love the size of my ford as a small suv. The maintenance has been minimal, and it gets great gas mileage. It's slightly older, so the technology is a bit dated and sometimes doesn't work as it should.

- Emily C

Basic SUV. Good gas mileage,

The vehicle itself runs great. It is the basic model so not all the bells and whistles. It was a car I could afford at that time. I would prefer a v6 and towing option. Otherwise it is a great vehicle.

- Anna A

You get what you pay for. It's a good, utilitarian car that can get the job done.

I like the look of it. I dislike the quality at times. It has had some leaks. I got it when I was younger, and I would like a more mature vehicle now, but it has been good for this time in my life.

- Natalie G

It is comfort and mileage is good.

All electric adjustable seats, easy to lower back seats, back window has windshield washer, and v6, it is nice and peppy. Heated seats, SUV, fits my size. Dislike. . . No GPS, backup visual too small.

- Kaye K

It is a very good family car.

I like the size, the chrome detail, the color, and the shiny interior. I wish it was more modern and had features like seat cooling. I like the style of the 2012 escape much more than the new models.

- Charlotte Z

It has made sure I make it to where I need to go, no matter the weather.

I love my escape because without it, I wouldn't be able to survive winter in New England. It gets me to and from everywhere I need to go. It also has plenty of storage space to pack up for camping.

- Shelby L

It's a great vehicle for a smaller SUV. Also the gas mileage is very good.

I love my vehicle. I have not had any issues. I also take good care of it with oil changes on time and keeping it clean. New tires. I have under 100,000 miles on it. The only bad thing it is not 4wd.

- Ashley L

Reasonably priced for what you get.

I like that it is American made, reasonably priced, and overall reliable. I don't like that I have already had some rust form after 6 years, air conditioner, battery, and tires with only 40K miles.

- Sara R

It is easy to drive. When you are going fast it does not feel like it.

I love the style of my car and it is just very comfortable. Mine has rust around the wheels and I have noticed that other of the exact cars have it too so i dislike that. But overall I love the car.

- Grace J

Perfect size. Not huge, but can hall around 5 people and a ton of gear.

Love the size of it and how much I can fit in the trunk. Comfy car that is easy to drive. I dislike the headlights( no very bright) and the turning radius. I would buy the car all over again though.

- Amanda J

It is fully loaded with most all the bells and whistles one could have for the year it was made

I do like the heated seats and the remote start in it, I do not like the radio not showing song names and artists . I also dislike the drivers seat seat belt . it cuts me in the neck when I drive

- stacy r

It's a lemon and should be avoided until Ford completely reconfigures it.

Back window leaks during rain, air conditioner fan continuously quits (have had to have it serviced 6 times this year), due to a design flaw, debris constantly clogs the air conditioner flow box.

- Carrie J

The best thing, and most important to me is that it is reliable.

I love the size of my vehicle. Perfect for me, my husband, a big dog, a new baby and all the stuff that comes with our family. I only wish there were a/c vents in the back for my baby and my dog.

- Heather S

I think they should know how hard the seats get on a long trip.

I love the smoothness of the ride. The user interface on the touch screen display is very easy. I do not like how much h water drips into the car when the window is slightly down during the rain.

- Katy S

My 2012 Escape has been mostly very reliable for the 75000 miles I have put on it!

I love the design, the room and the SiriusXM Radio and the gas mileage. I do not like how it has rusted so bad after 5 years and how the back window leaks and how terrible the sync system works.

- Monica H

Have you driven a Ford lately?

I purchased this back in June. The air conditioner quit working the day I got it home. A month later my check engine light came on due to the EVap system not working. Other than that I love it!

- Melissa D

It's a great looking, solid driving, reliable car.

I got the very stripped down version of my car. I think if there were a few more bells and whistles, I'd like it more. It's a great size and shape with a lot of space, so there are positives.

- Rachel m

Great Vehicle for Singles and Families

I love the space allowing me to take all I need on long trips. I love the ride, smooth and it is easy to handle on the roads. It is easy to get into and out of and easy to load and unload.

- Kaye L

It has four wheel drive and heated seats.

It has been fairly reliable no major problems however my air conditioning just went out and it is going to be an expensive fix. It is very comfortable as a good sound system and drives well.

- Kendal H

Flex fuel is typically at least 30 cents cheaper per gallon, on average.

The size is good but I am outgrowing it. I would like more storage space and legroom. I would also like a rearview camera for parallel parking. My favorite thing is that it uses flex fuel.

- Allie H

Ford Escape makes driving feel free.

Rides great. Bought used. No major problems just normal wear and tear. The only issue is my mileage. I used to get 385 mpg on a full tank now I get about 281. Not sure what this issue is.

- Harlan C

It looks small but is roomy inside.

Its very reliable and solid made. It gets great gas mileage. We do not get snow very often but when we do, it is handles great. We're empty nesters now so it is the perfect size for us.

- Becky G

It is a very safe vehicle. Great in gas.. Drives very smooth. Easy to see out of.

I like most everything about it. I dislike the amelia unit of miles I have put on it. I also dislike the issue I have with the back window. The latches rust easily and leave a residue.

- Greg H

This car is definitely American Quality

I don't like how quickly the exterior seems to age and lose It's quality. I also don't like the way that it accelerates. It doesn't seem like the car has the right engine for Its size.

- Kelly W

Definitely recommend a Ford Escape

I love my 2012 Ford escape! I've owned it for two years now and I've had no problems with it. I get great gas mileage and it's pretty cheap to fill up even with the rising gas prices.

- Maggie K

With the back seat down, you can haul furniture or other large items.

The turning radius and feel of the vehicle are fantastic. My only real complaint is gas mileage could always be better. I love the ability to put the seats down and haul most things.

- Rachel G

Sirius Radio, Sunroof, Bluetooth capability, Aux cord connection.

I love this car! It is perfect for the commute to and from work. It's just the right size for me and my friends. Plus there is a decent amount of trunk space for when I go shopping!

- Brittany K

It is U.S.A made, runs great but the air conditioner broke as soon as our warranty was up.

I like the way ability to get in and out of the vehicle. It isn't too far off the ground or to low to the ground. I like that it is 4x4, alternate fuel type and the back up camera.

- Debra T

A great car for the money.

The Ford Escape is a reasonably priced vehicle. It is good on gas and is very reliable. It is a smaller size suv. I have owned more comfortable cars. Still very happy with the car.

- Chris M

good in winter and handles well in snow, I have never gotten stuck in the snow and there is high clearance so going over uneven ground is not a problem

I love the size and functionality of the vehicle. It is good in winter and handles well. The gas mileage is not great and there is rust on the inside of all the doors and tailgate.

- Susan S

There is a lot of space in the car.

My engine light has been on for almost a year and no one can give me an answer as to why it is on, I thing that it is because I have no gas cap even though it didn't come with one.

- Madison B

It is a comfortable, and has a moonroof.

I haven't had any problems at all with the Escape. I have cloth seats which is comfortable, plus my Escape has a moon roof, which is great. You can open it halfway or all the way.

- De Anna S

It will last a long time if you just keep regular oil changes.

It's a good vehicle. I like how zippy it is, it's easy to get in and out of small spaces due to its size. It is fuel efficient. Plenty of room inside for a few kids and groceries.

- matt m

You can get a pretty good life span out of this car and It's great for road trips

I like that It's still running pretty smoothly after years of heavy driving. I don't like that when something goes wrong the parts seem to run high but all in all It's a good car.

- John C

How comfortable the inside is. Also how safe and affordable the vehicle is.

I love how comfortable the inside is. It roomy and cozy. Also I like how simple and easy the vehicle is to operate. I dislike the gas mileage the most. Also it has a slow pickup.

- Randall B

I really like the cool mood lights on the escape.

I really like the ford escape. It gets me from a to b and is really spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that the tires and brakes were a little worn out upon purchase.

- Casey S

Small, easy to park compared to the trailblazer.

I like it my Ford Escape, it was a gift from my oldest child. I just wish it was a v6, the 4 cyl does not have the get up and go as I do lots of entering on hwy and interstates.

- Tracy P

that the price is well worth it. Great size for small family without being big and difficult to drive

Crossover suv. Perfect amount of room. Gas mileage is decent. Easy to drive. Good handling and speeds. Comfortable. Only complaint is now needing service on catalytic converter

- Cody X

It's used often and has a lot of miles on it

It's a dependable vehicle It's gets good miles to the gallon and it has enough room for my child and some of his friends and sports equipment without being too big of a vehicle

- Cee C

Its automatic 4 wheel drive and has abs you never skid snow, rain, etc.

Like the fact that it has 4 wheel drive, plenty of room for storage and being a SUV, you sit up higher giving you a better view. Dislike the fact that the tires are very noisy.

- Todd P

It has a truck engine, so it sounds loud to speed it up.

I how it looks and also the durability of the ford. I like how it has an AUX cord. The speakers are not that loud; and I wish it was higher off the ground maybe, but its fine.

- Aubrey K

I bought the Escape Limited and I am really glad that I did. I enjoy the premium features like the sound system and the sunroof.

I like the fact that my vehicle has some of the latest safety features. I also like the premium sound system. There is not much that I particularly dislike about the vehicle.

- Scott H

The look. It still retains an SUV design.

Good on gas, low maintenance costs. My only complaint is the body is rusting and Ford is aware of the situation and refuses to recall because it is not deemed a safety issue.

- Kelly R

It is comfortable to drive. I feel safe when I am traveling. I think it gets good gas mileage.

My vehicle is just the right size. It is comfortable to drive. It has plenty of storage space in the back. It sits higher than most vehicles. I like that because I am short.

- Cynthia F

Bought used, newly loved!

I really do like my vehicle. I bought it a few months ago, so far, the only problem I seem to be having is that it makes a noise when the ac is on and it seems to run loud.

- Beth S

I have had nothing but problems since the warranty expired.

It is a Ford. Not really a for sure way to tell if it is running bad or not. The payments are to high, the battery has never been replaced, and everything is falling apart.

- Kim C

Ford Escape Long Running.

This car has been one of the longest running cars I've had without coming into an issue. That being said, the doors of mine break easily making it impossible to open them.

- Tiffany L

It doesn't handle well in strong wind, so a less confident or experienced driver may not want to drive it during bad weather.

I like that my car is big and good for transporting things. I don't like that it is sometimes more difficult to handle in strong winds and it doesn't accelerate quickly.

- Holly G

Ford products are very reliable and enjoyable to drive.

Vehicle does not have 4 wheel drive. It's been very reliable though. It is somewhat noisy. I am able to pull my boat and seedo with it. It is rugged as well as stylish.

- Gary B

It is easy to drive and spacious enough to satisfy my needs.

I love the size and the technology on the inside. It drives very easily and has enough space to transport everything I need to. I also get great gas mileage for an SUV.

- Emily S

Easy, smooth drive. 100% won't regret it if you get one.

Love the car. Have had issues with my locks but not sure that's an overall problem, things happen. Other than that haven't had any other issues. Love the way it drives.

- Mikala T

Just the right size. For me.

I was looking for a car that was easy to get into, to able to swing my legs & touch the ground. . Also wanted a hatch, tires of lifting things over the edge of a trunk.

- Karen S

My Ford Escape is a good quality vehicle that gets me from point a to point b.

It's a good vehicle but has had some basic problems in the past. There are no major amenities in the vehicle either, but there is enough for the car to be comfortable.

- Josh B

It is roomy for tall people. I am tall and love the comfort and space it provides.

I love the size. It drives well in all kinds of weather. I have not had any major issues and it is almost to 100,000 miles. This is the second Escape I have owned.

- Diane G

It is easy to manage and to drive. Lots of room for different stuff

I love it because it has all the technology I need in a vehicle. I dislike the gas mileage. And now over 100,000 miles on it so don't know how much longer it is last.

- Mollie B

I full heartedly believe my car is my baby and others should treat it with the respect it deserves.

I have a white Ford Escape. I love how roomy it is. I actually like almost everything about it. However, I dislike that I do not have air conditioning at the moment.

- Loretta B

Its safe! There's nothing wrong with it and it has a lot of good safety features.

I love the way it drives and it is great on gas. It's a little smaller than what I am used to. The steering wheel is small and the deck with the radio is different.

- Maria M

It is great if you have an active family. Plenty of room for passengers, and for equipment.

It has been a very reliable car. It gets good gas mileage. The only problem I have is when you change the oil it is very hard to reset oil change icon that pops up.

- Robbie M

The Escape is a smooth drive for all types of road conditions.

The features of my Escape are phenomenal. It is a great value. While there have been some transmission issues, those were easily repaired and the car is wonderful.

- Anne M

It gets great gas mileage and drives smoothly. There is plenty of room for passengers and cargo.

I like the body shape. The roomy interior. It gets great gas mileage and has plenty of storage space. I do not think there is anything about it that I do not like.

- Loretta S

Good gas mileage, and is a reliable, low maintenance

Good ride, reliable, 4 wheel drive, comfortable seats. Would like navigation system, backup mirror doesn't always work or has a fuzzy picture when it is cold out

- Jessica L

It drives so smooth. But it does not have four wheel drive.

I love the heated seats and sunroof. I wish it would have cooled seats though because of the fact in the summer time they get hot because they are black leather.

- Rebecca S

Comfort is really important and a key feature.

I really like the leather interior with the heated seats. Also the color changing mood feature. It is comfortable but I wish I had the option of lumbar support.

- Kelly C

White Ford Escape with all the fixings.

This is the third Ford Escape that I have owned. I love them. It is an SUV, however is small enough that it is not bad on gas. I currently have the basic model.

- Tiffany W

2012 Ford Escape Reasonably Priced

It was involved in a prior accident. The hatchback will not open only the glass portion of it. It is very comfortable and dependable. It is good on gas mileage.

- Jane J

No Cruise control. Takes too long to accelerate.

I do not like that a light does not come on when you open the doors. You have to push a button for a light to turn on. I like how high it sits above the ground.

- Mandy P

A very comfortable vehicle for a family or single person.

Very reliable very good in the snow ice large enough for a bunch of things from shopping to snowboards but small enough not to take up a ton of parking space.

- Kelsey Q

My little red Ford truck.

Have always loved Ford trucks, just at a point in my life where I needed to downsize. Love the smaller size but still feel many benefits of a truck as well.

- Sherry H

It's easy to handle and being AWD helps tremendously.

Love the back up camera on rear view mirror. Love the heated leather seats. Wish it had 3rd row seats. Not really any dislikes or complaints. I love it.

- Kathleen W

It has been incredibly dependable. It has never broken down.

I love the features that it has. It has held up very well in the 4 years I've owned it. I love the heated leather seats and how deceptively spacious it is.

- Michelle P

The way my Escape handles in any situation is wonderful.

I love the size and maneuverability of my Escape. The interior fits me and my lifestyle. I love that I can lay down the back seats and get more cargo in.

- Sarah T

It's American made. With proper care, this car will last decades.

Color is nice. I like that I am higher up when I drive. I like the seat warmer. I don't like the sensitive accelerator, at take off. Gas mileage sucks.

- Stephanie L

The replacement parts are low priced and fits many different years of the brand. the basic oil change lasts and work well in my vehicle

Car runs great! Bought it 2 years ago and haven't encountered many problems. The air stopped blowing cool but should be an easy fix. Only problem I've had.

- Kelly J

That it's a very reliable car.

I like it because it has four doors. It is easy to park. Has plenty of legroom. It gets good gas mileage. I dislike that it has rust over the back wheels.

- Nancy S

Review of 2012 Ford Escape.

Good amount of space, moderate mileage, Bluetooth system, unique exterior color, unique wheel trim, nice interior, collapsible back seats for add storage.

- Lan L

It's not invincible. It can wreck but they always come back and keeps you safe.

Only complaint is that this year must have been Fords worst year in vehicle making. Other than that I have no complaints about my wonderful car.

- Amy P

The air conditioner and heat work well. The stereo system is very clear.

Its 4-cylinder, so it's a little slow. The wheel also feels like it isn't tight enough. The car doesn't stay in a straight line. It is a nice family car.

- Anthony G

it is comfortable and gets fairly good gas mileage. it sits up so short people like me can see the road.

I like the size it is not too big or too small. I like the fact I can haul my crafting in the back without being squeezed. it is great for taking a trip.

- kathi c

Love my dependable silver focus.

Very dependable with decent gas mileage. Good handling on all surfaces. Only minus is a blind spot making me turn my head to see if a vehicle is coming.

- Sue B

Ford escapes are a very reliable and durable vehicle.

I love the handling. The shift between manual and automatic is awesome. The interior is very sleek and makes you feel like you own a very expensive car.

- Mara B

It is a very reliable vehicle.

Overall, reliable vehicle. The 4 cylinder model does not accelerate as quickly. The seats are comfortable, even on longer road trips. Good gas mileage.

- Diana O

It is reliable transportation. Sits up high to see the traffic ahead.

I like the space inside the car. It's drives smooth. Easy to store away groceries in the back. I dislike that it does not have navigation built in it.

- Melissa n

It runs very smoothly and has pretty good gas mileage.

I like the color of the car and how smoothly it runs. I have had a few problems with the transmission but other than that it has been a very good car.

- Michael U

How well it drives in all kinds of weather. It is good on gas also.

It is a good running SUV. I never had a SUV before and I am glad that I picked this one. It gets around good in the snow and rain. I just love my SUV.

- Susan K

It is safe & was a fantastic choice for me.

I love the size, powerful engine, & comfortable ride. I like the options it came with. I don't like the rust that is coming through on my wheel wells.

- Margaret R

It's reliable and versatile. It will get you where you need to go and you'll get there in comfort.

I like the way the car drives, the comfort of the seats, the cargo space I have, and the fact the car has low maintenance and has been very reliable.

- Ebony C

It is a great car and gets great gas mileage. It is also nice and roomie.

My car gets good gas mileage. It is very roomie. It also drives smoothly. I haven't encountered any major problems other than normal wear and tear.

- Allison H

It drives well in snow covered streets and county roads.

I like that it is a four wheel drive. I am high off the ground so I do not get caught in snow piles on the road. I like that it looks like a truck.

- Rachel T

My vehicle makes me feel safe and drives smooth so I enjoy the drive.

My car is very reliable. I have had no problems with it. It drives smooth and I feel safe in it. It is spacious and gives me lots of cargo room.

- Lisa J

My car is a good car for families.

I like that the escape is a mid sized SUV. I like how it's spacious. I like that I feel safer in it... I do not like that it's not a 4 wheel drive.

It is slow to accelerate.

My vehicle has been reliable so far but it is slow to accelerate. It also does not reset after an oil change. It is overall a good vehicle though.

That is gets wonderful gas mileage for highway travel.

I like that is a family vehicle. I do like that it gets good gas mileage. I do not like how compact it is and that I have had mechanical issues.

- Jess K

Well. Jolt and durable vehicle.

Love this vehicle, great on gas. The, way the car handles in winter, love the interior features. Lots of back. End storage. Comfortable seating.

My 2012 Ford Escape Review

It is a reliable vehicle. I have had no problems with it since purchasing the car. The only negative I have is that it takes awhile to speed up.

- Christian S

It is good on gas. It is easy to park because of the small size..

I like having 4 wheel drive. I liked the price I paid for it used. I do not like the small engine size or it's ability to slowly navigate hills.

Reliable, Dependable great gas mileage.

I have no complaints about my Ford Escape. It is a reliable dependable car with room and good on gas mileage. Not too small and not too large.

- Shelley H

It's a great family car. Weather you're heading to a weekend trip or just grabbing groceries.

Has been an amazing vehicle. Reliable, comfortable, good on gas. High safety ratings and has proven to be safe and resilient during an accident.

- Susan W

Great value for the money. Very dependable mechanicals.

I like the compact size but still have room - small SUV. YOU CAN PUT THE SEATS DOWN FOR LARGE CARRY SPACE. Easy to park (size) and good on gas.

The one thing others should know about my car is how nice it drives.

I love my car because it drives very nice. It is big enough to fit my family of 4 with room but not too big for me to have a hard time parking.

Others should know that my car is dependable.

My vehicle is just the right size for my family. It is not like driving a sardine can, but it also is not a tank. It has been very dependable.

- Rebekah A

It is good at towing trailers and amazing storage space.

I love how High it ride. I also love how much storage it holds. The only problem I have with the escape is how sometimes it speaker blows out.

- Anne B

I enjoy the way the seats fold down and the Bluetooth capability.

Issue with the sensor that is related to the all wheel drive has been an issue. Same issue happened with a friend who had this make and model.

- Megan E

It has a my key lock on it.

I love the space and comfort. I dislike how low it sits to the ground. I love the gas mileage. I like the versatility of the fold down seats.

- Monica B

It is good on gas per miles.

Not good with miles and brakes down easy, tune up needed constant. . . Good side it is roomy inside and a selection of colors for the escape.

- Sandy C

It's reliable and easy to fix when there is a problem.

I like how high it is off the ground. I also like how much space there is except in the front seats. There isn't a good place to put my purse
