The ford expedition Eddie Bauer is the perfect family vehicle.
As I haven't had my vehicle long but so far I have had no problems. It has been completely reliable so far. It is by far the most comfortable vehicle I've had. I have plenty of room for my family of seven. It has excellent features including a DVD player with headphones, heated seats, Bluetooth radio, sunroof, and plenty of seating. I love the ford expedition Eddie Bauer's. I will definitely buy another one when I upgrade.

It gets reasonable gas mileage.
We are a Ford family. We have family visit often and we can all ride together when we go out. We bought it used and it is been a good vehicle.

The folding seats and automatic closing hats are awesome
I love my expedition. I have a big family so the expedition has it never room to see everyone comfortably. Your luggage racks on top really help the vacation. It has automatic folding seeds in the back at a push button hatch to open and close

Details of ford expedition 2010 limited edition.
I love my 2010 ford expedition because it is a limited edition, meaning they stopped making them. It is fully equipped with a back up camera, watch movies from GPS screen and there is a DVD player built in the roof. The side steps open automatically when you open the doors. You can auto program the seats to adjust your height for driving comfortably. The best car ever!

Get this while you even can!
An overall 10/10 on my 2020 ford expedition Eddie Bauer 4x4. I am the second owner and it is very spacious and great on fuel costs. I am averaging 19-22 mpg running under 70 mph. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone to purchase this SUV. Built right!

2010 ford expedition limited.
My 2010 ford expedition is super comfortable and easy to drive. We recently installed a GPS inside it. We also discovered it has automatic windshield wipers. It has a built in video watching station that hangs in the back for the kids to watch. The only complaint I have about my car at the moment is my sunroof is broken.

Our family Ford expedition.
We have had a really good experience and have never had any major problems with our Ford expedition. Outside of normal repairs and service, we haven't had to take the vehicle to a service shop. It is a very comfortable, roomy vehicle that drives really smoothly. We bought the limited model that includes drop-down running boards, leather seats, and entertainment system that is great for the kids.

The air conditioning system works perfectly well.
Ford is a very luxury and comfortable brand of car, it has an interior suitable for relaxation because of its space, it sound system is very okay as well, it is comfortably built for any weather and has a very ideal and appealing air conditioner. It has a bright lamp that aids movements at night without much stress.

It's a great car I love driving it I take it everywhere whether that be to work to my friends or just anywhere
accountCircle Emily M
The brakes squeak. They sound like a bus making a stop.
I really don't like anything about our vehicle. I really don't have many reasons to like it. It's breaking down & we need to get a new car soon.

Never purchase an Expedition
Didn't hold up long at all. Constant problems with electronics. Heated / cooled seats stopped working soon after warranty expired. Windows constantly needing put back in tracks. Power running boards quit working, rear air doesn't work, front air works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. Ignition has fallen out of the steering column. It has been countless issues from the beginning with this vehicle, will never buy another. Going back to faithful Chevy Suburbans!
accountCircle Lester R
It has room for 8 people plus cargo capacity to carry groceries.
I hate the gas mileage and how outdated the vehicle looks. I do enjoy the size of the vehicle.

I spent more on maintenance and repairs then to buy it.
I have had to replace and fix several things in the last six months. It's one thing after another. I feel like I've spent more money fixing it then I did to buy it. So far, I've fixed the front windows, and ac hose, the transmission pan, the license plate holder, the running board, and the transmission.

Ford expedition: never again.
The sunroof leaks. I was told by several mechanics that was an issue on those model expeditions and trucks. The spark plugs and coil packs are a consistent issue. I am always having to change one or two out and that is expensive. Suspension air bags have a small leak. Will go out to my car sometimes and it's powered down. After its running its ok.

This is a great family vehicle. The third row of seats is easy.
The automatic running boards have broken twice. They are extremely expensive to repair. The 2nd time I have not repaired them and now they do not work at all! I like the rest of the features on the vehicle. The heated and air conditioned seats are wonderful.

Fully loaded with leather.
It is a nice car with leather and heated/cooled seats but the one downfall for us is the wheels as it has certain sized rims and tires that are way more expensive than standard rims and tires on regular cars. The gas mileage is fairly good, but could be better for a smaller car.

Ten years. Old and still going strong.
Have had no mechanical problems with this vehicle, except the sensor which lets you know if your tires need air or not. Have been driving it for two years. Now and still is going strong. Has a lot of power and drives smoothly and comfortable. Is spacious inside.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Clifford T.

I like the vehicles over all performance, We're at 144K and still going strong. I like the hauling/ towing performance. It offers a massive amount of space throughout the cabin. In general I like Ford's.

likeFilled Lori S.

I like the size of this vehicle, I can fit the whole family, dogs and all the outdoor gear we need inside. I can attach my tent to the back and sleep inside the back with a full size mattress. The fuel economy of this flex fuel vehicle is very good and the mileage on the highway is excellent.

likeFilled Traci T.

I love the easy access to the 3rd row seating. Plenty of room behind the 3rd row seat. The v8 engine has enough power for heavy loads. Very stylish and affordable wide variety of options to choose from and its American made.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Clifford T.

If you were expecting a completely quiet ride, you will probably feel a bit disappointed in the Expedition. Maintenance; the vehicle requires special tools and must be taken a dealership. I do not have very many complaints...

dislikeFilled Lori S.

It is large and does not fit in all parking areas easily, especially in cities with narrow streets and limited space. This vehicle gets good gas mileage for a large SUV but it would not be considered to have very high fuel mileage compared to smaller SUV.

dislikeFilled Traci T.

Not very easy access to engine and engine parts when performing basic maintenance. Have had multiple problems with the window motors air conditioning doesn't seem to reach the 3rd row seat very well. The front console needs more 'stuff' space.

For the most part it’s very reliable. We've had ours for years, and it hasn't given us many problems. Maintenance on it can be expensive though.

The 2010 Ford Expedition is a very reliable vehicle. Aside from the basic wear and tear that occurs in any vehicle, it has not disappointed. Our trips to the repair shop are few and far between.

Is The 2010 Ford Expedition A Good Value?

My personal opinion is that all SUVs and trucks are overpriced. The cost of the expedition is comparable to other SUVs in that class.
Ivan L.
It is a cheap car it does not have much value but it is a good car and it is a good family car that is not expensive.
vincent a.
We bought ours used in 2016 for $14,000. Hands down the best bang for your buck we have ever experienced with a large purchase.
Camille M.
I am not sure of the cost or if it is a good value because I have had it since 2011. But I think it is good value cost
Allison N.
I'm not the one who paid for it so I honestly don't know the cost. But we got a good price for it. I’d say roughly around 2800$ maybe more.
Stephanie W.
The 2010 Ford Expedition was approximately $40,000 at the time we purchased it. Even though it is costly, I feel it is worth the value. You can use it to tow a camper or work trailer, you can... Read More
