The 2012 GMC acadia slt 4-wheel drive is a comfortable and adaptable vehicle.

The 2012 GMC acadia is the family vehicle. My wife and brother-in-law purchased the vehicle pre-owned. I was unavailable because of my disability. At first, everything went well. After perhaps three thousand miles a strange knocking noise came intermittently from the drivers side front. We immediately informed the selling dealer. The dealer had the vehicle on several occasions to rectify several small complaints and the before mentioned front end noise. In the end, the vehicle left. In worse condition than that when it had arrived. We spent an extraordinary amount of money trying a few highly recommended mechanics to no avail. The noise remains to this day. To make matters worse, GMC called and informed us the vehicle still had the remainder of the factory warranty still active. We could not receive a refund of work that we had paid for because the repairs were not authorized by the warranty company. Our model arcadia is the slt with the v6 power plant. It appears to have a desert sand like tan color. It is very unique and has to be seen. My spouse tells me that a limited number were produced at this trim level, in this color. Several people have commented positively on the arcadia's appearance. It is quite tall. Getting snow off the roof and hood can be interesting. The rear hatch is powered and there are several 'easy access' features. It has had a few issues. On occasion, the rear hatch will not remain in open (up) position and when the hatch comes down in this scenario, it comes down like a hammer. It has drawn blood. Plan on replacing the rear hatch air/oil assist struts. Currently the replacement cost is approximately one hundred fifty dollars. I reside in central Massachusetts and had my struts replaced today at that price. The interior is very comfortable and generally well thought out. I find the front passenger very uncomfortable on trips of more then approximately one half hour. And there is a significant lack of cupholders. All in all, not a bad vehicle.

WAS AN EXCELLENT SUV, BUT THEN..

Purchased our 2012 Acadia SLT used with 18,000 miles on it in 2013. Was dependable and comfortable. We pampered it and got it serviced regularly... No real issues until about 80,000 miles, other than replacing each tirod.. both headlights had to be replaced on two separate occasions within 6 months, the driver's door pwr lock stopped working, then the front passenger pwr lock stopped working, followed by each being fixed and then the power windows each took a turn to stop functioning. My mechanic explained there was excessive corrosion in the links in the doors. I paid well over $1,300 for those repairs followed by a $450.00 dealer only electrical part they had to remove the center console to get to... With the labor that was over $700.00.. I was advised that in order to correct these persistent electrical issues we would need to replace the front electrical harness $1,500.00 and the rear electrical harness for $1,000.00 plus labor... We had our mechanic get the driver's door lock working one last time and we are now trading it in.... It only has 92,000 miles on it and over all it drives great and the interior is holding up well.. Just cannot keep putting money into it... Too expensive to maintain...

Excellent room and luxury but lacking in performance and reliability.

The Acadia has plenty of room for our family with even enough room in the 3rd room for me to sit in and I am 6'2". The interior feels nicer than other vehicles and is big enough that it feels like not much sun comes in. On the other hand, there have been performance issues that have made us regret our purchase at times. We have had to get the brake booster, bearings, speakers, and fuel pump replaced. One of the rear ac vent covers falls out if turned too much. The rear controls (knobs) for the ac get hot to where sometimes you cannot even touch them. We have had to get the ac checked a few times as well as had sludge build-up in the engine. Also, the advertised mpg is 17 city/23 highway, meaning full tank of gas on the highway should get you well above 400 miles. In our experience, and we travel often, we struggle to get over 300 miles on a highway trip to any destination. In short, when you purchase and Acadia, really work the whole car and take it for a full tank trip to make sure it is not a lemon.

Space for children, groceries and friends. It truly is an all purpose vehicle.

I love my Acadia. The seats are easy to fold down which makes hauling items a breeze. The room is great. Even without the third row seats laid down flat the cargo room is plenty to haul groceries and luggage. My children love having plenty of room to take their friends with us. The car itself handles great. The ride is smooth and steering is responsive. The number one issue I have had with my Acadia is the front passenger seat belt warning coming on when no one is in the seat. My children and I love our vehicle. The gas mileage is great. I personally love the remote start feature. On cold morning, it is great to have a warm vehicle waiting for the ride to school. Of course, you cannot forget the heated seats. Being able to choose the amount of heat as well as whether it is on the back, seat or both is a great feature. Over all the Acadia has been one of the best family cars I have ever driven. I daughter has already laid claim to it when she begins driving.

Great size! Not too big and not too small.

I used to drive a Tahoe and then went to equinox but too small. I then tried the Acadia and it was perfect. It is large enough to hold 5 adults and 3 kids. The 3rd seat legroom is great for kids adults find it tight. The only problem I have really had is with the electrical, I assume electrical as the warning on the car indicates tires need air when they do not. It has been on many vacations with me without any issues. It has the Bluetooth and plug ins for charges in every row all the way to the back end trunk, and the car does not need to be running to charge these which has come in very handy when camping. I think driver and front seat are very comfortable, middles row is good but as I said the 3rd town is somewhat small. When 3rd row is down you can seat 5 people and have a huge trunk space in back!

Awesome, reliable family car!

I haven't had many problems with this vehicle so far. My biggest problem though is the fuel injectors. I do not know a lot about cars, but I have a fuel injector that is sticking. That is causing the car to run rough sometimes. The shop I usually take my car to (because I know they are honest and are not trying to just take my money) cannot replace it. They said something about the way these cars are built, only a dealer can replace them. They said something about there being too much pressure and they do not have the specialized tools for it. So I took it to a dealer. They kept the car for days, racking up labor costs. Eventually, they said the problem was the fuel pump. So they replaced the fuel pump. It didn't fix the problem and we paid $1000.

Review of GMC Acadia Denali

This car is extremely beneficial when wanting more room for kids. Mine has the captain chair options so my two children can be separated. It also has third row seats that can fold down for tons of storage room. Great pick up and very luxurious especially the sunroof in the front and back so the kids can see the stars when driving. The only issue is the captain chairs, they can be moved up or back so there are these open grid lines to move the seats which food and dirt gets stuck in these openings. So that can be a pain if you have kids eating in the back but other than that it's a great car.

Large, reliable and comfortable SUV.

It has been an incredibly reliable car, although even minor repairs tend to be expensive. Such as my headlight bulbs went out, but they are track lighting so it cost almost 300$ to have repaired at the dealership. I love the middle captain seats so my kids do not have to climb through the seats to get into the back. The truck space is small but all the seats lay completely flat if I need to move something large. It is very roomy and comfortable with dual heating and air and rear heating and air. The leather seats are durable and comfortable with the heated seats.

- Marissa K

My GMC Acadia is awesome!

My GMC has a smooth ride and an awesome Bose sound system. I wanted an SUV with 3rd row seats and a 2nd row with captain's chairs for easy access to the 3rd row. I thought I would hate the leather because it makes my sweat in the summer but I put a towel under me and love it because with 2 young kids it is a miracle. I just wipe them clean. It is been super reliable and the only complaint I have is the gas mileage could be better, however, it is a mid size SUV with some get up and go. When it comes time to buy a new one, another GMC will be at the top of my list.

- Amanda F

All around top-rated by my family!

It drives smooth. Kids like the room in the back. Quality made. Controls are where you expect them; I have never had to search for a button or switch. Could get better gas mileage, but it is a great alternative to driving a minivan. We've done most of the repairs ourselves; replaced the water pump and belts, flushed the radiator, replaced an air cooling part. . . So not sure of mechanics pricing for work. Haven't had any mechanical issues since then. Love the space behind the third row, larger than most SUV’s. My family loves this car!

- Penny D

Luxury meets comfort and reliability!

I love my 2012 GMC Acadia Denali! It has been a very reliable and comfortable car. Fits my family of 5 comfortably. When I first bought it we notice water in the back seat which after the first rain became very excessive. Called the dealership and it was a seal around the back moonroof. Everything was fixed and replaced and they gave us a loaner car for the week. Recently the DVD player stopped working. I have been told it needs replaced but it is not worth it since our kids have iPad. All in all our entire experience has been great!

- Rachel H

Dependable with a high level of safety features.

Our GMC Acadia is extremely dependable and spacious with 3 row seating. Third row is easily accessible with middle row captain’s chairs. Ride not as comfortable as our previous Chevy trailblazer, a little stiffer suspension. We enjoy the pearl white color with gray interior. Very dependable v-6 motor with plenty of pick up and respectable gas mileage 23-25 on the highway with 20 mpg overall. Purchased as a certified pre owned vehicle with great extended warranties both bumper to bumper and powertrain.

- Joseph V

A GMC acadia is a great family vehicle.

I love my GMC Acadia it is a great family vehicle it has safety features and has a smooth ride it also is super classy I love it because I know where GMC it will run good and there will not be any problems. We have 3 children under 3 and we can get them in and out of their car seats easily. It has a backup camera. It has sensors that if you get too close to a vehicle it beeps and flashes. It has lane departure sensors. It is altogether a safe reliable vehicle I would give it a five-star rating.

- Jamie R

It has about 20 miles to the gallon and is a big SUV.

My GMC Acadia is great for bigger/growing families like mine. It has three rows of seats, suitable for children in car seats and booster seats, as well as adults of all ages. It also has great trunk space for a car that has three rows of seats (most SUVs/trucks do not have sufficient trunk space with three rows of seats). My SUV is very roomy in both the front and back rows, and it rides very nicely. When going over bumps, you barely feel them because this SUV takes bumps very well.

- Danielle R

Great Family SUV with minimal adjustments required

I purchased a used GMC Acadia after I was in a wreck in my brand new truck. We were looking at new vehicles and realized that a truck did not fit with the dynamic of our family with 2 kids and minimal seating. I began looking at vehicles and the used Acadia was recommended as a good fit as it has 3 rows of seats, so there is room for my family, as well as any guests who wish to travel with us. This car has been very reliable and quite comfortable in the time that I have had it.

- Dan M

My family fits in our GMC Acadia!

My GMC Acadia is beautiful and extremely roomy for my kids and all their friends. It has over 106,000 miles & is starting to have issues. Unfortunately, I bought the vehicle used and I don't believe the previous owner kept up with all the maintenance. The vehicle itself has wonderful features ~ lets you know when you are due for oil change, navigation system, tire pressure alerts. Very nice vehicle. It is a must to do scheduled maintenance when it is due with this vehicle.

- Annie B

It's a pretty decent car. It doesn't have any bells and whistles but it has all of the bare necessities and is reliable.

My actual vehicle is a 2008 Saturn Vue, but I couldn't find Saturn on the list of options so I selected another car before. I like that my Saturn Vue is pretty good on gas mileage, and it's comfortable to drive in. I have had some electrical problems with it such as one speaker going on and off, dashboard lights continually coming on even though I take my car in and there's no problem, and then sometimes the air conditioning and fan blower settings will not work correctly.

- Jenna P

Lots of seating for big families!

I love my car. I love the DVD player for my children. It has two sunroofs, one of which opens. The other does not have the ability to open. It has 8 seats which we love! The back gate has an open and close button on the car itself and on the remote which I use all the time. I love the remote start. The only thing I do not love is the air vents. They have almost this chrome look so when it is sunny, the glare off of the vents make it difficult to see at times.

- Audrey B

My 2012 SUV GMC ACADIA that I adore!

I absolutely love my vehicle it has 3rd row seats which is very convenient I can put the 3rd row seat down when I do my grocery shopping ! I like driving a bigger SUV because I drive with my son in the car and I feel more safe than I would driving a car I have never been stranded on the side of the road from it breaking down it's a very reliable vehicle and drives very smooth if I where to get another vehicle I would get another Acadia but a brand new one!

- Bree M

I love the third row seating. Tons of room and comfortable. Reliable.

Overall it has been pretty reliable. I have had to make a couple repairs but it does have 130k miles so that's expected. It's very spacious which comes in handy with a couple of kids. The folding third row seating is a must. We hardly use the seating but the additional trunk space is amazing. The gas mileage isn't great but it is a full sized SUV so again that's expected. If there's is anything I don't like it's that it doesn't have very good acceleration.

- Steven C

I love my GMC Acadia Denali

I love my Acadia! I have had it for almost 5 years and had very little problems. It has had a couple sensor issues including one with the traction control... nothing was actually wrong with it. A very reliable family vehicle. I do have the Denali which provides all the bells and whistles which is great for someone who doesn't know everything they should monitor on a vehicle. The car lets you know when it's time for oil change, tire pressure, etc.

- Julie G

Average American built vehicle that drives well.

Transmission was redone. Front end suspension redone. Doors not opening and closing very good. Rides good when on road . Air conditioning redone. Quite a few of the plastics in the car are in need of repair. Gas mileage is decreasing significantly . In all, car was very nice when we first purchased the vehicle. However, as time has gone by quite a few major problems have occurred. Not sure if this is due to american engineering or what.

- Joe G

Plenty of room to do mom stuff.

I love my Acadia. It seats 8 with a third row. When going on road trips with my kids it allows everybody to be comfortable. When I go grocery shopping I have plenty of room for the things that I buy in bulk. I have plenty of room for my kids and their friends for field trips or weekend get togethers. It takes a lot of gas but as long as I am taking care of it and getting regular oil changes and tune ups my gas mileage is decent.

- Michelle M

My extraordinary vehicle. The gps system is fantastic.

I have not had problems with my vehicle since I bought it. The performance is great, gives me a great ride. My Denali has leather seats and they are very comfortable so that sometimes I fall asleep in the car, but not while driving. The accessories are just wonderful GPS, inside control to move my mirrors, and the heated seats are great during winter weather. So many other amenities you just have to see. You too will enjoy.

- Rose C

Amazing third row vehicle without having to drive an ugly minivan!

I needed a bigger vehicle for my family of 5 after having my baby boy in June. I was driving a scion tc, and it was way too difficult to have only two doors. I love the space we have in my Acadia now. I didn't want to buy a minivan, but I wanted the third row seating, so the Acadia was perfect. I love the remote start, push to open and close the back, and the backup camera. I have no complaints about it so far.

- Kyra L

Nice little SUV for the family

It's a good reliable vehicle. It comes with a back up cam and easy to open lift cargo area. It has a smooth ride and bucket seats to fit my family easily. The added DVD player helps keep my kids busy during trips and the actual wall charger outlet keeps all their electronics charged. The airbags keep me feeling like I have a piece of mind. I love the racks on the top for camping. Overall a wonderful vehicle.

- Bet B

Bigger is better. Like I said bigger family bigger vehicle.

Bigger family means. . . Bigger vehicles! As having a newborn on top of three boys our budget was you know a little tight. Still we needed it. It's still fun though. Brand new car smell! More space! Smiles! Accomplishment was all I took in. New baby. . . New car!. Well it or she took us up and down. A. C out. Summer. . . It's hot and the part is foreign!! 2400! Geez! Still looking for a vehicle.

- Sunny H

Not worth the money we paid for it, but we are living with it.

For some reason, the brakes need replacing more often than other vehicles we have owned in the past. It also needs oil constantly, although we do not see it leaking. The tracking system is constantly failing. I personally do not like the way the seats in the middle row lift up. About 5 things of plastic pieces have fallen off somewhere in the car. I do like that it is an eight passenger vehicle.

- Renee A

My experience with my GMC Acadia

Great car, love the smooth drive! It's so beautiful on the inside and out. The only problem I've had with this Acadia was with the brakes going out, but that's because I'm a hard drive. I had it fixed and the SUV is running perfectly once again. I would definitely recommend :) I bought the car used at 100,000 miles and I'm happy to say that at 130,000 miles it's still running perfectly.

- Amani A

Great Vehicle for all, including the dog!

The Acadia is perfect for a family! It fits our two teenage kids with leg room to spare. The dog also fits perfectly between the captain chairs in the middle. The folding third row is great when extra space is needed for storage. The roof rack is great for transporting kayaks. No problems with it. Only complaint would be the lack of space in the trunk area when the third row is up.

- Kim W

It's very roomy and it's great in the snow. Very reliable.

I love everything about the vehicle. It is great in the snow. It has plenty of room to fit 7 people comfortably and still store stuff in the very back of the vehicle. The back hatch has a button so it can open and close automatically, which is very helpful after a shopping trip and your hands are full with bags because you can push the button on the key fob and it will close.

- Erin D

Pros and cons of the GMC Acadia.

I like the size, seating (7 passenger ), style, color (bronze brown), leather seats, heated seats, easy to drive, room to hold large items. Repairs are pricey. Electric headlamp over $700., alternator and battery $1100, windshield wipers stopped when I turned on left turn signal $300, rear brakes and rotors $500. All within a few years. Hoping for a break with the repairs.

- Sheryl M

Wish I could trade Acadia

I've had my Acadia for 3 years and have had problems from day 1. I only give it a 3 because I love Chevy and GMC. It drives rough and I have to change brakes and rotors more often than usual. The stabilitrak system keeps messing up. The rpm gage keeps surging up and down which causes the car to jerk and brakes and rotors to be replaced. If I could trade in, I sure would.

- Christy M

Overall I think my GMC Acadia is great.

I really like the size of my car. I like that it has a third row so I can fit a lot of kids and stuff in the car. That is very important to me because we are constantly on the go with sports and travel. I like the height of the car. Not low and not super high just right. I don't like that replacement parts for this car are expensive because they are a specific type.

- Katie W

We love our 2012 GMC Acadia

We love the GMC Acadia especially the interior room for several passengers. We love the split middle captains seats and trunk space. It gets good gas mileage and is very comfortable for traveling with a family of 5. The split fold down 3rd row is very helpful when you are loading groceries, traveling with many suitcases and a place to travel with the dog.

- Sharon G

Mixed emotions: great vehicle but would have liked some other options standard.

Having fold down third row seats is a lifesaver. Love the back up camera and the remote feature to open the hatch. Only wish it came with 4 wheel drive and that the bucket seats in second row could recline as well. Also, super beneficial to have a charging port in the center console for the rear but would have benefited from an actual outlet plug in.

- Trina H

I love my Acadia. I will keep this car until it gives out on me.

I really love my Acadia, it rides smooth. It is very comfortable. I live on a dirt road and this car gets down anything even after much rain or snow. The only issue that I have related to this car has been the air conditioning. I have had to replace it twice since I purchased it. Also it does not have the coldest air conditioning but very tolerable.

- Gentry L

We are most comfortable in our GMC Acadia.

Purchased as a certified pre owned vehicle it first was a great buy with excellent extended warranties and a 2 year maintenance free program. Secondly it is very spacious with 3rd row seating accessible from the convenient 2nd row captain’s chairs. Lastly it has great visibility, with ease in handling performance and adequate safety features.

- Joseph V

Great vehicle for grandparents!

Easy to drive - easy to park. Great vehicle for kids car seats! Adequate storage! Average gas mileage - would like better for in town driving! Attractive style - many other people on the road seem to like it as well! Would buy another one without question - but hope this one last a long time yet - have only 82, 300 miles on it in almost 6 years!

- Donna R

GMC Acadia: A big car with some performance issues.

The car overall is nice, though it is a bit big for my family and I. Because of its size ' it uses a huge amount of gas and only gets around 14 miles per gallon of gas. It also has broken down multiple times in the last few months. Overall it isn't a bad car for 6 or so people but it is too expensive for us and not as reliable as we would like.

- Sophia C

This is a great family car. It has plenty of space for all passengers.

I like the captains chairs in the middle row because my kids have their own space and are not crowded together. I love all of the storage space when the third row is folded down. I have enough room for my stroller, groceries, and any other cargo I need to transport. I have had this vehicle for almost 3 years and do not have any complaints yet.

- Stacy Z

I wouldn't buy another GMC car.

Not a fast or luxurious car, but well-priced. Gets you were you need to go reliably. I have had many problems in the past with air conditioning, and GMC has not been much help. The car has also been breaking down recently. I have had it for six years, it is probably time for a new car. This car probably will not last very long for you too.

- Noah S

Great vehicle and very versatile for families!

I love this vehicle. It is great when you have kids and still need a vehicle that can tow things like boats. It does not get the best gas mileage or have great pick up but is perfect for our needs. We love the third row seating and the ability to fold down the back seats. We also have the dual moon roofs which are awesome in the summer.

- Michelle F

Fun to drive and great in the snow!

It is been a good vehicle. Very reliable & fun to drive. I have the Denali so all the options are a nice feature. Heated/ cooled seats, heads up display, etc. Haven't really had any large issues just regular maintenance. The only thing i’d complain about is the gas mileage. It is not good at all. The AWD does great in the snow.

- Katie F

I love that my car is small enough to park, unlike a Yukon, but big enough to hold my kids and their friends, or my entire family plus our parents.

I love the size of my car- I can fit our whole family and plenty of luggage for road trips. We have had a fair amount of problems with our car, but it has been easy to fix them since it is a domestic vehicle. I also do not like the console in the middle row, but I know this is an option. I would not advise the middle console!

- Leigh H

Family friendly light SUV.

Does not USB ports. Front headlight replacement is costly because you need a mechanic. And the electronics need repair (power windows not working and radio is on the fritz) it is a comfortable roomy car for me (6'2, 300 lbs.). And my wife likes the height when she is driving. It is a great family car with a true 3rd row seats.

- David B

Long distance drive with comfort and safety

The Acadia is a great car for long distance travel - it handles well in all weather conditions. I enjoy how comfortable it is to ride in even fully loaded. The drivability is excellent. The trim inside and the audio features make the ride comfortable and enjoyable. We have had few performance issues the vehicle is reliable.

- Mary ellen H

The best car for families

I love my Acadia! Ultimately, I chose it because of the safety ratings I read and the safety features. But it also has a third row of seats, a must for my family of 5, captain's chairs in the middle row, another must, and it is surprisingly maneuverable. The Denali has every comfort and convenience option you could want.

- Julie W

The back up camera is one of the best feature for a car ever

My Acadia is a great looking and performing vehicle. It has leather heated seats, a backup camera that projects in the rear view mirror and a DVD player with wireless headphones for the kids to watch in the back. It gets pretty decent gas mileage. The back seat flips down for lots of space for groceries or camping gear.

- Jessie P

Do not buy Acadias, wasted money.

Cheaply made. The power windows half work, the passenger seat does not adjust properly. The car computer is always on the fritz, and the radio always cuts in and out. I am not the only person whose car has done this, GMC is so cheap they've never recalled the car. I am so disappointed in GMC, they use to be good cars.

- Karo S

A great comfortable, family vehicle

No problems, a great ride and very comfortable! It's perfect as a SUV but small enough to park in smaller spots. There is enough room for everyone in the back when having 3 teens in the 3rd row and two kids in the two bucket seats!! I love the bucket seats versus the bench because people can get in and out easier.

- Kristina H

Acadia: rugged and elegant.

The Acadia is a reliable vehicle and designed to allow owners the choice of maintaining the vehicle on their own or taking up an automotive shop. The fold down seating allows for a plethora of uses. The Acadia is a top performing high tier SUV. Designed tough for rugged camping trips and elegant for city commutes.

- Matt G

2012 GMC Acadia review; good car with lots of space.

I is a great car, I have been driving it for a long time and only a few air conditioning and trunk opening problems. The car has served us well over the years and is a comfortable. The car is very spacious with lots of room for passengers and luggage/cargo. I would recommend buying an Acadia to other families.

- Liam B

Nice and comfortable vehicle that you can rely on.

This car has been very reliable, never had any major problems in the year and a half that I have had it. The 3 rows provide tons of space and make for very comfortable travel. My only real complaint is that the gas mileage could be slightly better. Also wish that it had a USB port, there are none in this car.

- Kristen K

It seats 7. Tan leather interior. All wheel drive.

The Acadia is a perfect family car. I love the two captains seats in the back, making it easy to put two little ones in car seats while still leaving room for others to ride in the 3rs row. In the 5 years I have owned the car I have only had minor maintenance items to keep up with. It's a very reliable car.

- Morgan F

Great reliable vehicle with plenty of room for a larger family

I love my Acadia. We have taken it on several long car rides with no issues. I have 3 kids with one being in a car seat so with the middle row being 2 bucket seats it helps create plenty of room for all kids to stretch out. We are able to fit a stroller and other things in the hatch giving us plenty of room

- Megan C

Someone told me I might have something wrong with my transmission.

I love that's it's GMC don't get me wrong, but after having a used one makes me think twice about having a new one. I'm having trouble with shaking, when I drive over 40 mph, as well as 60 mph. When I turn the A/C on, the temp gauge goes up causing the car to get hot. Other than that. I'm fine with my car.

- Mia A

Super roomy and safe vehicle!

I love my GMC Acadia Denali! Not only is it cosmetically appealing, it has one of the highest safety ratings for SUVs. That makes me feel great about driving around my babies in it. With the third row seating folded down, there is so much room in the back for bikes, furniture, groceries, strollers, etc.

- Katie G

They should know it has a smooth ride and can use hands free technology.

I like the features such as connecting my IPhone. I like the sporty look of the paint and wheels. I do not like the seats other than the driver's seat. I can raise the driver's seat so my legs are comfortable but I can't rise the passenger seat and it is not comfortable to ride longer than 5 minutes!

- Nancy L

Nice vehicle, but high mileage can call for expensive repairs.

This vehicle has over 100,000 miles. Recently, the front stabilization sensor went out. This causes the vehicle to run very roughly. This is an expensive repair that most people cannot do at home. The wheel has to be pulled off and then pressed on. Other than this repair, we have enjoyed the vehicle.

- Clifford M

My favorite car ever... fun to drive and looks great too!

Have had my Acadia for several years and I find it to be reliable and fun to drive. I have children so I need a car that makes us feel safe and allows room for us to carry friends and different types of equipment for various activities. The car has aged well and doesn't look old or outdated at all.

- Sara S

It is comfortable for all passengers.

I love the amount of room it has in all three rows. It is roomy enough for all passengers and has dual air control. The DVD player has been an amazing addition for our family! The children enjoy it so much that travel is fun for them. Also the SUV rides so smooth that you forget you are in a car!!

- Ashley M

It is a comfortable, safe, all-around great car. Perfect for families.

Spacious. Love the backup camera and the 3rd row. Tons of space for cargo. Love the DVD player and the Bose sound system. Has a bit of a transmission issue which cause an occasional tug while your drive, but nothing serious. Just feels nice to drive. Has been my favorite vehicle I have ever owned.

2012 GMC Acadia - Family SUV

Comfortable seating. Fairly decent on gas mileage considering that it is a large SUV. Although the base of the front seat cracked for no apparent reason. Traction stability turns off on its own randomly, rain or shine. Besides this I have not had any issues with this SUV for the last 5 plus years

- Sandy C

Acadia has transmission problems.

Love the interior and exterior.. Only problem is the transmission has been bad for about a year, and I have heard that the transmission with these cars is bad. Has lots of space inside, 3rd row is great and when folded down has a lot of cargo space for storage in the rear. Is very smooth riding.

- Dee O

Great vehicle for small kids

Overall it is a really nice vehicle. I have three children so the captain chairs are extremely convenient for us. We haven't had any mechanical issues at this point in the ownerships. My biggest pet peeve about this car is the lack of trunk space. I do enjoy all the features included in the car.

- Ashley G

GMC makes amazing vehicles.

The acadia has all the features you would want to have. It has a power liftgate which can be controlled with the remote. It has amazing mirrors which almost eliminate blind spots. The navigation system and the radio are outstanding as well. The heads up display allows for safer driving as well.

- Chad M

It has a lot of space and is good for families with multiple kids

I like the size and that is has the third row with bucket seats in the first row. I also like that it has navigation. My complaint is that there are constantly rattling noises and we have issues with random mechanical or electrical things that always seem to fix themselves after a few minutes.

- Julie W

Steering Issues - Watch Out

Steering controls went out (tried turning and went into oncoming traffic instead). It was a 2,000 fix when my car had 60,000 miles on it. It's a known issue and GM has not done anything to remedy this. It runs very loud. Even with AWD it's not great in the snow and that's with brand new tires.

- Kristin N

Long-lasting comfortable family vehicle.

I love my Acadia. It is the perfect vehicle for carrying lots of people and/or things. I always get compliments on how it drives or how comfortable it is. Unfortunately, with almost 200k miles on it, the transmission is starting to go out. However, this is expected and common with many SUVs.

- Amanda A

Love my Acadia. It is nice and roomy.

My Acadia is a very nice SUV, good sized, looks sharp and hauls everything I want it to. I like that the seats allow for flexible seating. It has DVD player which I do not use. I have had very few mechanical issues with it overall. Gas mileage is good, leather seats are very comfortable.

- Kelli F

GMC Acadia has 2 great sunroofs

Very reliable and spacious. Great for long travel, every day transportation, and space for transporting items. Captain seats in the middle row offers great access to very back row. It is also very easy to maximize trunk space when not using the 3rd row by just folding down the last row.

- Amber B

Great car for 4 boys within 4 years, toddlers to teens!

I love my car. I love the seating plan and space. Seats are easy to move and my kids found it easy to maneuver around the back into the 3rd row. I do find annoying that there were so many recalls. Also my gas gauge does not work and I have run out of gas a bunch of times because of it.

- Robyn M

Good family vehicle with modern body design.

Perfect size for a family of 4. It is easy to drive. Durable. Basic technological package but with great sound system (Bose speakers). Recently had a problem with coil #6 and had to have the whole engine flushed which cost more than $2000 to repair. Other than that, happy with Acadia.

- Terry L

Reliable. Comfortable drive.

No issues with my vehicle. I do regular maintenance and it runs great and has plenty of room. It is easy to get in and out of. It is a nice looking vehicle. I feel it is sturdy. It is reliable and I feel safe in it. I get comments from other Acadia owners that also live their vehicle.

- Theresa F

Acadia is a wonderful family car.

Gas is very expensive and goes too fast to fill up. And transmission part went out too soon. Other than that I love it. I have leather seats which is easy to clean especially if yuh have kids who make a lot of mess. The built in DVD player was nice but now my kids are too old for it.

- Olga M

50/50 vehicle. Maybe go with another make and model due to problems.

Everything is great although I've had power steering trouble and ac trouble since I've owned it..It's very reliable and dependable vehicle.. Id suggest looking into GMCs other models to..The gas mileage isn't that great either but I think overall it's a great vehicle for travelling.

- John E

Solid overall AWD vehicle.

Have not really had any issues with my vehicle. I love the space and comfort it provides. I have it serviced every 5,000 miles. There are always enough room for road trips or group outings. . I have never had an issue in the snow or bad weather. The awd always performs as needed.

- Sally K

I like the fact that it has 3 rows Overall this was a great vehicle

Overall this SUV is a good vehicle I have came into quite few repairs that need to be done but they are costly repairs but as long as Maintenance is kept up it should run great! I would recommend maybe not getting used vehicle unless it's one owner and get full diagnostic check

- Frances C

I love the remote start and the power liftgate.

I bought my SUV because it drove similar to my car I was trading in. The one thing I don't like is the seats for long drives are not the most comfortable for passengers, the driver's seat is good I'm not sure if it's because it is more worn in. I would definitely buy it again.

- Kristin L

It is a great family car. There is a ton of space, it is very comfortable. Mine has captains chairs, so it seats 7 comfortably and still cargo space

I really like my Acadia. It has a ton of space for my child, animals, and all of our stuff. One issue I have is that it doesn't get as good of gas mileage as I would like. I have a lot of features in my SLT trim level including DVD player, back up camera and satellite radio.

- Chelsea P

Great GMC Acadia leather seats relaxing family car.

It's a great car lots of room has sunroof DVD player great on gas surround sound is fantastic tires are great easy maintenance low cost oil leather seats it really it's a spacious family car I fit all 3 of my kids and 2 Doberman in it go get you one its amazingly wonderful.

- Kayla D

Great and long lasting car.

The car for me is very big and being so big it does take a lot of gas so with that it does get costly but other than that the performance of the car is great. After years having it I have never ran into any easy to fix issue with the car and the big size allows lot of room.

- Erin M

Good SUV but needs constant maintenance

The Acadia is very noisy is 1st gear. Ride is rough. Goes through gas like not tomorrow. Has great features such as seat warmers and on star. Great if you have if you have a family of 4. Best SUV I have owned needs a lot of maintenance to keep the vehicle operational.

- Sarah D

the back seats are not comfortable.

I like the the truck space and the fact I can put 8 people in my vehicle. I also like that it is cheaper to fill up than my last vehicle. I do not like the vehicle itself, I like to hang on to my cars but I don't think this vehicle will last me like my last one did.

- Michelle F

Leather heated seats, lots of room, sunroofs, handles great.

Have no complaints about this vehicle. Drive great, lots if luxury options. Handles great in the crappy MN weather. Sturdy and has lots of room. Great for hauling things. Has bucket leather seats, captain chairs and heated seats. 2 sunroofs and electric everything.

- Lou G

It is a luxury vehicle that will allow you to carry the whole family on any given day or long trip.

I love the vehicle because it is spaces, and it also has a lot of options, including a DVD for the children. What I dislike about it is that it doesn't have the get up and go at times. It also doesn't allow you to listen to a CD and play a movie at the same time.

- Tonya R

GMC Acadia all wheel drive.

Leather interior which make it easier to clean. Very spacious and comfortable inside. All wheel drive which is more stable on the road. Moderate fuel consumption. Removable seats to enlarged boot space. Remote start which is very convenient during the cold weather.

- Louisa J

Car rides and drives comfortably and is good for large families.

Vehicle has been fairly reliable over the past 5 years. Vehicle has good power and nice handling for its size. Failures have included ignition coils, high pressure AC line, Catalytic Converter, and Alternator. Space is adequate for a family with 6 small children.

- Brian S

This car has been great for my family. All 6 kids fit in comfortably.

Spacious, amazing for kids, comfortable but stylish, great interior, automatic windows and seats, great heating and ac, seats drop down to create a lot of cargo space, seven seats, big enough seats for car seats, family friendly, a smooth rider, great suspension

- Alexis K

Great dependable midsize SUV.

Problem with wipers when left blinker is on. Seats are comfortable and roomy. Has been very reliable so far, and have not gotten stuck(I live on gravel roads). Smooth riding. Great for shopping, lots of room. It is a pain to change headlights if one burns out.

- Stacey T

Big bertha - big rear will get you into trouble.

Overall I am happy with my Acadia. There is really only one area that it could improve. I really wish this vehicle has a built-in backup camera. The rear window is too high to see most things while backing up. It is very dangerous if young children are around.

- Abbie R

The Acadia is a comfortable, reliable SUV.

The Acadia is not the most luxurious car; however, it has been comfortable for our busy family. It seats 7; however, tightly in the 3rd row. The air conditioning recently needed repaired. For the most part, the vehicle has only required routine maintenance.

- Sarah W

I love my Acadia is beautiful, safe and it compliments a complete family. This SUV is spacious and it runs great on gas. I stay up to date with the regular maintenance and I haven't had any issues yet with my vehicle.

This car is safe all year round. The ABS kicks in automatically during snow storms or when the ground is wet or slippery. The car informs you when weather conditions change and when to use more caution. The safety features are a great asset to this vehicle.

- Angella p

All about GMC cars SUV heating in the seats.

A good car but headlight goes out and tires pressure. It drives good on the road. Nice and roomy and comfortable seats but back seats should of lean back more. Back window wiper problems good gas mileage. This is a good family car and travel, music is good.

- Laurie M

Great family car, but has a lot of minor issues

I do not like that little things keep breaking such as window buttons, wiper fluid sprayer, trunk mechanisms, seat buttons. It is very spacious and comfortable, though. I enjoy the van seating so it's easier for passengers to get to the third row seating.

- jessica P

Great all wheel drive, vehicle with tons of comfort!

It is really great for a family. Lots of comfort for whole family. Easy to drive. Has been very reliable,. The engine could use a little more power especially the passing gear. Third row seating allows for extra seating or more cargo room when needed.

- Fred M

Acadia- great car for traveling with kids.

Air conditioner keeps having issues. The Freon keeps leaking and making a hissing noise. Have had to have it fixed twice in one year. The car tolls significantly when I put it into park. And the transmission jerks when the car is auto shifting gears.

- Summer J

Great SUV for parents, lots of room

Love the layout of the car with the bucket seats and bench third row seating. Very reliable. Not the best gas mileage but it's to be expected. Many vehicle problems so far such as a bad seat bar, leaking struts, and a hole in the power steering pump.

- Samantha S

Good for the space that I need. Had 3rd row seat.

I have a 21012 GMC Acadia SLE. The vehicle was purchased used. It runs good. I recently had to replace the radiator and my driver side window switch. It is not that great on gas. I do a lot of traveling through and it has been holding up fairly well.

- Starr S

The battery is very hard to get to and replace. They've made a bit of maintenance, replacing the batter, that should be easy to do yourself something that has to be done by a shop.

The car was purchased used and almost immediately needed an engine and power steering pump. Then 2 months later a new battery, alternator, and alternator cable. While I like the size and cargo capacity, I just don't trust the car at this point.

- Beth Q

I feel like it is a heavy, safe car with all the airbags.

Overall performance is really good. I feel like for the size, the gas mileage should be better. On the highway, I get about 24 and in town it is not very good--about 18. I love the 3rd row of seats that I have. Not all Acadia's have that.

- Kerrie W

I absolutely love my GMC Acadia

I really like my car. It is very roomy and good on gas mileage. I did have trouble with my Radiator while on vacation but was able to get it home and get it fixed with no problems. Now was a new radiator it works wonderful no complaints

- Vicki S

GMC Acadia my almost ideal ride.

Love this car. Just the right size. Dependable not much repair time. Only criticism I would have is GMC does not spend enough time researching the design of their windows. It is harder for a short person to see out all windows readily.

- Cindy G

Lots of room and space! Easily fits the entire family with room to spare.

I love the size of this vehicle! It was plenty of space and feels roomy without feeling like I'm driving a tank. I love driving it and I love how it looks. However, we have had lots of problems with the AC unit and the overall engine.

- Devon C

Good vehicle but too costly.

I have had my vehicle for less than 2 years and have already spent more than $8, 000 on repairs. On top of that, my family and I have outgrown it and my plan is to trade it in within the next 9 months for something more modern.

- Lakeisha V

The on important thing others should know about my car is that it drives very well.

I love my GMC 2012. I have only one loan payment left on it and I am excited about that. I love the moon roof and the navigation system in it the most. My grandchildren love the DVD player. It is spacious and comfortable.

- Geri B

3rd row of seating, with fold flat seats in the cargo area.

I love that it can carry the whole family, plus some, and all of our things.A third row of seating, and plenty of cargo space. The gas mileage leaves some room for improvement. It's expensive to fill, and expensive to drive.

- Amy M

Overall I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone looking for a third row vehicle.

The car has a very comfortable ride. It has not caused us any problems in the six years we have had it. Our particular model has a back up camera and heated front seats. It does not have bluetooth or navigation.

- Mandy W

It is very roomy and comfortable. Gas is good on long trips.

I love the size and the engine but do not like that I cannot upgrade the radio and a it is a little slow and starting to have some problems. But overall it is a great car just cosmetic issues and catalytic issues.

- Amanda J

Plenty of legroom in the back seats.

I love my Acadia in its beautiful shiny, red. It has plenty of legroom in all of its seats which makes it great for teenage children. I love that the back seats lay down so easily for hauling cargo and groceries.

- Carol G

It looks good, with lots colors to choices from.

It is big. It is comfortable. It looks nice. Has heated/cool seats. Remote start. Speedometer on windshield. Has 3 rows,, also has DVD player. My daughter loves it. Very nice for travel.... No complaints.

- Bella Z

It can fit 6 full sized people comfortably and still have room for luggage.

I like that my whole family fits in it. I like the style, that it doesn't look like a "mom" car. I don't like that the battery system has trouble or that some of the plastic in the interior has broken.

- Brooke c

It's been reliable. I haven't had any major issues with it. A few recalls that we taken care of at no cost to me

I like the awd. I like 3rd row seating. One thing I dislike is the headrests on the driver and passenger seats. They aren't comfortable. They make your head lean forward. That is my biggest complaint.

- Carol Y

Its reliable and can hold the whole family comfortably for trips.

I like that it fits my whole family. I dislike all the blind spots that it has making it very difficult to see. I dislike that I've already had major repair work done even before the warranty was up.

- C M

The rear cameras are helpful with backing up and teaching my kids how to drive.

My GMC has been very reliable. It is comfortable, spacious, and inexpensive. It has a lot of options that I wanted, heated seats, rear cameras and third row seating. Perfect for my family or cargo.

- Destiny L

Best Family Vehicle Owned

Perfect size for family. Not to big. Love all the features. Tracks under seats are hard to clean. Favorite things are push start, hands free calling, back up camera, GPS , heated seats, and safety.

- Danyelle T

Features are very nice but not worth the mechanical trouble

Like the options/features. The ride and comfort is also good. Unfortunately there are electrical problems with these vehicles. There is also ignition issues that lead to misfires, constantly.

- Jesse R

It is not good for off-roading.

No complaints low maintenance very reliable, safe and comfortable for the whole family. Only has enough room for people when fully loaded and must have trailer brakes on loads over 1000 lbs.

- Jason S

I love being able to stow away the third row seating when not needs.

The fuel gauge fluctuates a lot. Especially after it reaches a quarter of a tank. I also wish the vehicle would let you know how many more miles you have until empty. Helpful when traveling.

- Lisa W

It is a great family vehicle with plenty of room for all of our family inside.

I love how spacious the Acadia is inside. I also love the extras it has such as the sun and moon roofs. My only real complaint is that it lacks any sort of pick up from a stopping position.

- Kris R

It's a good car but not great on gas and the trunk is a little tight.

I love that it's a seven seater and the driver and front passenger have decent space. I do wish there was a little bit more space between the back 2 rows OR the trunk was a little bigger.

- Brianna A

For a car of its size, it's pretty good on gas mileage.

I like the size and how many people it can fit. I also like the captain seats and it's pretty good on gas. However, I do not like the temperature control and the trunk size is too small.

- Kari B

It has great space and a great family car.

I like the size of the vehicle. The third row and size of the trunk is perfect. The second row bucket seats are great, restricts a lot of touching between the two kids, aka less fights.

- Laurie L

It is a good family car and good for transporting a lot of items.

I like that it can seat 8 people and when you need more space you can put down the back seat. I like the rear view mirror. I do not like the model i have is front drive and not 4x4.

- Tristan J

It is a good multiple purpose vehicle that would serve most people well.

I like really everything about my vehicle. It drives well. The interior works great and looks nice too. My only complaint is the items fall in the tracks of the second row seats.

- Becky L

Great gas mileage and very safe lots of room no problems

Best SUV I have ever had. It has 106,000 miles and never had brakes put on. I get 60,000 miles on my Goodyear tires. I change oil every 4,000 miles and never had one problem.

- Helen F

It is a very safe car, I am comfortable driving my nieces and nephews in it and someday my kids.

I feel very safe in my vehicle. Having four wheel drive allows me to get to work in all kinds of weather. It could be more comfortable inside especially the passenger seating.

- Sheri L

That it is excellent in snow and on icy roads.

I love the all-wheel drive as it goes very well in the snow and ice in our area. I also love the ride and the roominess. My only dislike is the low gas mileage that it gets.

- Beverly B

It's a Denali version; it's a beautiful red color.

It's a Denali version so has lots of luxuries. There isn't really anything I don't like about it. Just hoping this GM product doesn't let us down like past experiences.

- Kristen V

It has not given me any problems, virtually maintenance free.

It is AWD, handles well in winter. I bought it used and for age of vehicle it has not given me any problems. My next vehicle would be a purchase of a brand new model.

- Aiden E

Very nice vehicle. Lots of options making it comfortable and enjoyable to drive.

Really like our Acadia. Very comfortable and easy to drive. Lots of room inside yet turns like a car. Comparable storage to the Tahoe that I drove before this vehicle

- Nicole C

Air conditioner issue with Acadia.

The Acadia drives very smooth. The only problem we have had was that we needed to get the air conditioner recharged. Otherwise it has been a very good family vehicle.

- Sara G

Heads Up Technology is the Best Feature

Denali edition - lots of features. Love the heads up technology that projects the speedometer on the windshield. 4WD. Seats 7, but doesn't feel too big.

- Melissa G

Perfect size, good price.

Runs great, looks great and I have every possible option in the car you could ever want, plus I know it will save my family if an accident ever occurs.

- Amy L

It drives and rides perfectly.

Perfect size, color, and has the features I love. It has 3rd row seating, backup camera, all wheel drive and many other features. I have no complaints.

- Teresa S

It is a reliable nice sized car for families to own.

I like the seating space and options with our 3rd row. I do wish the 3rd row had more leg room. It is a nice riding vehicle that is easy to maneuver.

- Anna A

Great for families and driving vacations. Comfy and spacious second row seating.

Chose this vehicle because it offered captain chair seating in the second row, unlike most vehicles which offer only bench seating in the 2nd row.

- Allison T

Easy to drive and smooth ride. Not to big so you can get in and out easily.

Very comfortable, does not seem like a big car, smooth drive, easy to manage. I love driving my car. Would buy another one when the time comes.

- Diana R

GMC Acadia great vehicle very comfortable

It is a great car, but we have had issues with the AC and power steering. Otherwise it's very comfortable and fits our family of 6 comfortable

- Torrie K

2012 GMC Acadia: the overview.

I really do like my car for the most part. I would rather a wife console over a deep one. I also wish it got better gas mileage in the city.

- Briley R

Maneuvers easily and 3rd row offers more space than other models similar to it.

Seats 7 passengers, rides smooth, comfortable, can haul a lot of cargo. . . Could have better gas mileage, price could be more affordable.

- Andrea M

My favorite vehicle I have ever owned!

Comfortable, quiet, roomy, spacious, usable cargo space, family friendly, Bluetooth connectivity, easy to handle, useful safety features.

- Elizabeth W

The Grand Denali: best in its class

This is one of the best SUV's I have owned. It gives me the performance of a sports car with the comfort I would feel driving a minivan.

- Angel S

My car is very comfortable to drive. It's not too big where it's overwhelming and where it would be difficult to drive

I like the size of my car. It is not too big or too small. I wish the third seat was a little roomier. I like that it's easy to drive.

- Kristen H

Good for a family of 3 or more. Pretty smooth ride

It is a comfort and ride good driving car. Having an issue with ac working continually in the rear of the vehicle and heat not working

- Barbara I

Very roomy interior inside the car.

I like the drive and features. The back up camera is great as well as the beeping feature if you are going to back up into something.

- Sarah F

Car is spacious and great in the snow.

When the back window is open it gives a very horrible sound on the ears. You have to open the front windows to get rid of the sound.

- Shawn O

I feel safe and I feel my family is safe while we are in this vehicle.

love that it ride and drives like a luxury car. Lots of room for people and stuff. It's fun to drive. Handles great in the winter.

I love my GMC. It is is a car I completely trust to get my family and I places. I recently got it and I've had no problem with it.

- daphne h

Air conditioning went out.

Air conditioning went out, but other than that I have had no problems. I did replace the brake but that was after 100, 000 miles.

- Travis P

It has been a safe vehicle for me to drive my kids places

I like all of the room and the remote start. It is comfortable and works well for my family. The downside would be gas mileage.

- Angie W

Dependable and reliable no major problems.

I have had no problems. With regular check ups and oil changes. I had to put new tires on after 6 years but that is reasonable.

- Sandra M

That its dependable and sturdy.

I don't like that it's white in color. The seatbelt can latch too tight, usually on passenger side. It could be better on gas.

- Tiffany R

My GMC Acadia...only vehicle for me

The Gmc Acadia is a wonderful vehicle. I've had mine two years with minimal problems. Its built for comfort and reliability.

- Brittany R

I have had it for 11 years and is a very dependable vehicle.

It is just the right size. It has all the bells and whistles I like. It has been very reliable and I have had no problems.

- Judy R

If you have a larger family, this vehicle can suit your needs without you feeling cramped.

My vehicle is serving the purpose for our family. We have traveled longer distances and it provides the leg room for all.

- Michelle H

It is the smoothest driving vehicle.

I like the color, seating is ok. Front seats are in poor shape, and it is not that old, so feel it is not made real well.

- Amy G

A great all around vehicle

It is complicated to work on, but has the technology that you would want. It is roomy, and has a decent towing capacity.

It has a rear view camera.

No dislikes, automatic headlights, light gas pedal, smooth riding. Heated seats and has a very powerful air conditioner.

- Natalie N

Love it, it's comfortable, easy to maintain, and roomy for my family. We've enjoyed this vehicle on many family trips

- Trish B

It's got 3rd row and its 2-2-3 seating. Which I find a lot easier than 2-3-3 seating.

I absolutely love my vehicle. The only thing I hate is that the dealership that sold it to me are a bunch of liars.

- Carrie C

The Acadia is very roomy.

It has plenty of room. Drives nice. I like that it sits up higher than a compact car. I do not have any complaints.

- Carlie R

Big Pearl: reliable, durable family car

great family size car. reliable for case trips. wish it had bigger trunk space or compartment spaces under seats.

- Kristi D

It is a decent car. Good gas mileage and cheap repairs.

I like the 3 row seating. I like the ease to drive. I dislike that it is falling apart. I do not like the smell.

I love my Acadia because of the third row seating, there's lots of room in the back when the seats fold down.

- Shelley T

Great for families, lots of room.

Love the size and room. Wish there was a little more trunk room. Love the captain's chairs in the second row.

- Theresa M

Stylish but not the greatest for storage

Reliable, noisy engine. Not enough storage when using all three rows of seating. Tows well, stylish exterior.

- Marina P

I love my Acadia. Can't beat having AWD in Wisconsin. Big and secure enough for our family, but still feels like I'm driving a car.

It is big and my family and I feel safe in it. I feel like I have more protection than I ever did in my van.

Review of my 2012 GMC Acadia.

No problems. Gets good gas mileage. Rides comfortably. Good amount of space. Love the stereo system.

It fits my family well, is exactly what we need. Will buy another

I love the room of the car. I don't like how hard the seats are to get down. It drives nicely.

Love how quiet it is. Very smooth ride. Have a 3rd row seat without giving up trunk/cargo space.

The GMC Acadia is a small SUV, but it is comfort to take the family on a long vacation drive.

- Stephanie T

Very dependable car. Love all the room it has. Do not like the tires it had on it when I bought it. They were Falken tires they don't handle very good on snow.

Love how it drives very comfortable seats. Love having 3rd row hauling kids. Lots of space.

- Linda R

The GMC Acadia is a safe and reliable SUV. Great for a large family

Roomy for a family of 5. Reliable, good gas mileage. Handles well in all kinds of weather

It is a reliable car. It has been a perfect car for our family of 4.

Fun to drive. Perfect size to meet all the needs of my family. Reliable and dependable.

Great safe family car with plenty of room for road trips.

It works great in the snow. It is safe for my family. It does not get good gas mileage.

It is a reliable vehicle that is good for families of all sizes.

Like size. Dislike cramped feeling with car seats. Like overhead vents in the back.

- Stunne S

I love the seating capacity in the larger SUVs. Never going back to a small car again.

Love the size and seating capacity. Has blind spots that I have to really watch.

GMC is similar to all other suvs in Its class & the transmission isn't the greatest.

The transmission is garbage and the over all mechanics of the car are just ok.

- Kristin G

It is a very comfortable ride.

I love the space and the ability to seat 7 people. And it is a smooth drive.

- Elyzabeth B

Love the space ad look of my car, wish they had not changed the body style as I would have bought another one when the time comes

Love my car...big enough to carry everyone but still compact enough to park

- Jenn S

That they are notorious for having terrible transmissions and a lot of transmission problems before 100000 miles

Likes- size and looks Dislikes- transmission, power, fuel economy

- Tony G

Good gas mileage and great if you have multiple children.

Good gas mileage. Good tire traction. Bluetooth is convenient.

- Alexis H

I love the way it handles. It's very comfortable and has lots of features. I don't like all the recalls. Inconvenient to fix them. Also the radio is confusing.

The air conditioned seats are the best. So nice on a hot day.
