It can fit a lot in it. Good on gas. I travel a lot and it is always reliable. I need to fit the ac but that is the first problem. The brakes are good. And I think it is really pretty and convenient. I drive for hours at a time and it is comfortable. I love it.

Great smaller SUV. Very reliable and gets decent gas mileage. Very comfortable seats. Bluetooth is a bonus. Love the radio control is also in the steering wheel which is so convenient. Traction control is great especially in the winter. Dual temperature control is great so if your passenger is cold they can increase the temp on their side only.

If you accelerate to quick the engine and craft feel like it jumps. Performance is well good on gas. Comfort is a 5/5. Takes some time for air to get to the back seat. Roomy in the back. 2011 Kia Sportage pros and cons.
My 2011 Kia Sportage is an overall good car. Some of the 'pros' are great handling, plenty of power, very comfortable, sleek design. The cons are some components feel cheaply made like the trim. Also the fuel mileage isn't all that great compared to similar vehicles.

Reliable and gets you where you need to go. Okay on gas mileage (17 city/19hw). Main problems with this type of car address a/c issues. Compression belt may be faulty and this is what is affecting a/c from producing cool air. Regular maintenance needed on brakes and alignments but love the FWD and off-road features.

Kia Sportage, good car, gets job complete.
Transmission gets stuck between gears every now and then. Rides smooth, interior is nice vibrant. Bought it brand new and have had minimum issues. Only real issues are normal wear and tear. I would recommend this car for anyone with a small family, plenty of room. But overall good truck.

Smaller SUV with plenty of room and awesome 4WD.
This vehicle is great in snow and I love the 4WD. I feel safe when driving in snow and difficult terrain. It has great cargo space. The back seat is also spacious for passengers. The only thing I don't like about the vehicle is it has limited visibility. It is difficult to see out the back window and also the frame of the front window creates blind spots with the driver side and passenger side mirrors.

This vehicle is good to drive but does not handle icy roads like my old Honda CRV did. The vehicle has been reliable the past year I have had it with no break downs. The radio does not work which I later found out is a common problem with this type of vehicle.

Your goldilocks car, not too big, not too small. It is just right.
The handling of the car is very smooth. It is fun to drive and zip through traffic. Not too big and not too small, it is perfect for this goldilocks. Handles my teenage soon, massive dog, and all the equipment that comes with them! Good room in the second row, can be a little tight for longer individuals but amazing headroom all around.

Chunky and athletic. Very family friendly.
It's a sturdy, chunky vehicle. However. There has been many recalls on the parts. Every single door has jammed and required to be replaced, which has been incredibly inconvenient and unsafe. It runs well as long as you treat it well. It's a nice family car.

I have never had a major problem with this vehicle. It has required the normal exchange of tires, oil, and filters. The comfort is great. I have spent over nights driving this car and never felt tired. It has been totally fun to drive and own. I highly recommend this vehicle to all.

Sportage: electrical errors.
Sportage has decent gas mileage and is comfortable to drive. I love the heated and air conditioned driver seats. Road noise is louder than expected. I have had electrical issues with all of the windows, including the sunroof. I cannot open the passenger window at all. The other car windows can only be closed using the mechanism on that same door (they cannot be closed using the driver console).

Used 2011 Kia Sportage: manual shift.
It is older and has been wrecked, the passenger window does not work, some buttons on the steering wheel do not work, and two speakers are busted. It is a manual shift, which is better on gas. It has Bluetooth capability, satellite radio, and is very spacious for my dogs and me.

2011 Kia Sportage - base model review.
Nice quiet ride. Easy handling. Only issue I have had so far has been the brake pedal switch. Which apparently was recalled at some point. It gets great gas mileage as well. Not much room for storage however. Stereo is pretty plain also. Overall a good car, not many bells and whistles however.

The car has been very reliable, great on gas! My favorite comfort feature is the heated seats and dual heat/air controls. It is very roomy for four people or for two with seats down and lots of luggage can be packed. The back seats also have cup holders and a sunroof too.

I dislike that my car is not 4 wheel drive and the length of the back seat being slightly to small for 3 car seats. I like that my car has not given me any major trouble. I like that I have never gotten stuck even when I couldn't get up a snowy/icy hill I could still back up.

Very reliable car, lovely to drive.
I bought my car used. So far it has been a pretty reliable car. I love that it has Bluetooth capability, and heated seats help not only in the winter time, but also with my ongoing back problems. It gets pretty decent gas mileage, and so far has never let me down. Only thing I would improve is how sensitive the tire pressure sensors are, too sensitive in my opinion, and to add a built in GPS function so I don't have to use my phone all the time. Other than that I've had no issues.

Kia Sportage, the perfect family car.
It is a very reliable car. It rides smooth and it is so quiet; sometimes I try to crank it while it is already crunk up. It is very spacious it fits my 6’4 kid’s father and our 3 kids perfectly. A safe vehicle for new drivers.
The Kia Sportage is a pretty good car. The breaks and steering can be finicky, but once you get used to it is fine. It does well in the winter and the heating/cooling is great. I got into a wreck in it once and everyone came out fine. We haven't had many problems with it, and have only had to take it into the shop for maintenance which is understandable on a 9 year old vehicle.

The 2011 Kia Sportage is very reliable. There have been no issues in performance. Gas mileage varies with in-town and highway driving but prudent speed gives very good to excellent mpg. The Sportage is comfortable on long trips and can accommodate four-five adults easily.

No mechanical problems. The car runs very well. There are some paint issues, trim, etc. Much of the paint around the plastic pieces has peeled away. But the car runs very well overall. There is not a ton of trunk space, so keep that in mind when purchasing. But the seats fold down. So that helps.

I love my Kia Sportage, little bad to say about it. After about seven to eight years I have had little to no issues with it. Kia Sportage 2011- reliable family car.
Car is very durable. I performed well through all seasons. However during winter months the car would lose traction easily. Size matters. For my family of 4 it was a decent sized midsize SUV. Foot space for both the front and back rows are fairly spacious. Now a family of 5 we will be searching for a bigger car. Kia has always been my go to make for cars. The repairs are not done as easily as other car makes but it has always been reliable. I was attracted to this car because of how compact yet spacious it is. It sits high like a SUV but is a perfect size for someone small like me (5'2").

Overall a pretty solid car, it does the job which is just driving me to college back and forth. One might consider this type of car on the cheaper side however. The exterior looks sleek and the interior looks okay, it looks better in newer models. I find my car very reliable and pretty comfortable considering that I drive long hours in it.

An owners thoughts about the Sportage.
The Sportage has good cargo space, but does not have fold flat seats. It is quite good in the snow. The gas mileage is reasonably close to what the claims are. The biggest problem I find with the car is that it always seems to have a bulb burned out somewhere. The brake lights and headlights are always needing replaced. Fortunately the headlights are particularly easy to replace.

It has a lot of room in the trunk for my soccer gear on top of my brother's football gear and my other brother's baseball gear. Overall review for 2011 Kia Sportage base model.
We bought it second hand. The thing is, the air conditioner is not producing cold air so we have to take it to a mechanic but the heater works well specially when winter. Compared to other SUV, my primary car seems hard to steer. The headlights are also foggy. In terms of comfortability, the seats are very relaxing and soft. They also allowed passenger seat to adjust forward or backward with a pretty long adjustments compared to other vehicle. You can also flip the seat on the back to widen your compartment if you have large luggage and I can say it is pretty wide space when you flip the seats. There are no options if you want to change driving modes into eco or sport. I sure Kia already built-in the eco device which automatically turns itself on. In regards with fuel consumption, it is on average. We drive a total of 10 miles everyday. And we have a budget of $35-40 for the gas per week. In terms of speed, I can say it is fast. You’ll never noticed you are drive 80 mph because it is very comfortable too. The suspensions are in perfect condition. I do not have any electrical or mechanical issues at all.

The reliable Kia: long lasting, full of fun and great features.
I love my Kia Sportage. It has 2 sunroofs the front one being the one that can open. It has heated seats in the front, and the driver's seat also includes a seat cooler. The ac works wonderfully and allows both the driver and the passenger to choose their own temperatures. The radio works well and includes Bluetooth. Those are some of the wonderful features but now I will speak on the vehicles driving. It drives wonderfully, the gas mileage is great. I live 8 hours from my family so holiday travel is made better by my Kia. I am at 130,000 miles and the only work I have had done so far was changing my brakes and routers. I feel that my car is very reliable and will look at purchasing another Kia for my next vehicle.

This is the most reliable car I have ever owned, I have driven the car to Canada safely and comfortably, it has a lot of space, fits up to 5 people comfortably, and it's very economic, I drive it to work every day 20 miles going and 20 miles coming back during 5 days, spending average 36 dollars weekly. Another great feature and advantage is trunk space, it has a lot of room for luggage, 2 large dogs, also you can fit small furniture inside since the back seats can be moved in order to expand trunk space.

BOUGHT IT USED SO INHERITED OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS LIKE THE CAR BUT REPLACED THE CLUTCH AND FIT ON DRIVER DOOR IS BAD TAKEN BACK TO DEALER SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT SUCCESS THE HOLD ON HILL SWITCH IS AN 800 $ REPAIR

Blind spots are notable issues.
We bought our Sportage used and have had no major issues since our purchase. Our only complaints are notable blind spots between the front windshield and side windows and that the back seats don't fold completely flat. Our ex is comfortable, gets great gas mileage and has been very reliable.

Love my 2011 Kia Sportage.
I love my 2011 Kia Sportage! I have had no major mechanical issues with this car. It is very reliable and fun to drive! It gets very good gas mileage for a small SUV. The interior is nice and comfortable, even on long trips. My only negative is the back seat cup holders, if there are 3 passengers in the back, there is no cup holder.

My KIA Sportage has been a dream. In 8 years I have only replaced an AC compressor and an Alternator. The ride is smooth and the noise is minimal. It has a comfortable 5 passenger compartment with a spacious hatchback area. The only real set back has been, updating the Nav system is a factory job and must be taken to the dealer for an update. Overall though, very satisfied with my purchase 8 years ago.

Having two sunroofs is a very interesting details to me.
I love my Kia Sportage, the paint job could have been better quality, but the details are wonderful, having two sunroofs is amazing, good gas mileage, very spacious inside, low maintenance and great body style. The Trunk could have been bigger but overall great car.

Lemon - nothing but problems
This vehicle has been a lemon since day one. So much so the entire engine had to be replaced by Kia. Now I’ve had problems with the turbo, the windows, the door locks and the radio. My wife’s 2006 Honda has shined compared to this Kia. Very bad purchase.

Reliable
Bought my Sporty new in 2011. It now has 240,000km and the only issue it’s had was the wiring harness for power/heated seats needed replacement. It has always been reliable starting in all kinds of weather. My only complaint is the road noise. Maybe better door insulation would be beneficial. Best car, reliability and non issue wise car I’ve ever owned.

It's comfortable and roomy for a midsize SUV. It has nice features and gets good gas mileage.
I really love my Kia. It drives well and has been very dependable. The features such as keyless entry and satellite radio/bluetooth are really nice. We did have to replace the a/c compressor at around 80,000 miles, but other than that, no major mechanical problems.

Great vehicle! Would get another.
There isn't much that I dislike about my Kia Sportage. The first thing that comes to mind, is that the tilt steering doesn't tilt enough for me. Another, is the legroom in the back, but as I will never be in the back, it's a moot point. One of the first things that I liked about this vehicle was the way it looks. This SUV does have a nice sporty look to it and the size is smaller than a standard SUV but that works for me. What I like most is it's turning radius. It has some nice features; heated seats and side mirrors, the back hatch is dual: both window and door open, it has a rear wiper, lots of cup holders both in front and back, great sound system, and it's a quiet ride. It is one of the best vehicles that I've owned and I would buy another.

The AWD Kia Sportage with anti-skid protection.
My vehicle is a 2011 Sportage and it has been very reliable and dependable. It performs really well and all of the accessories work as intended and I have never had any issues with any of the accessories. It is an AWD and runs great in the snow and has an anti-skid protection that has saved me from sliding off of the road a few times during icy or snowy roads. In 2018 I had to have the engine harness replaced as it was melted however the 10 year wrap around I purchased when the vehicle was new paid for the parts and installation which save well over $2500. As far as comfort the seats are adjustable with the driver's seat having the capability of being elevated based on your height for comfortable driving there is also Bluetooth capability which works very well allowing for hands off talking.

Kia Sportage: safe and efficient.
Super comfortable and convenient, the Kia Sportage provides a fuel-efficient, safe driving experience. This car has seen three accidents of varying severity, and each time my family has been safe. The only complaint being my family of five calling for my three children to be squished in the back row of seats.

My Kia Sportage is the best car I have ever owned!
Kia is a very reliable and affordable car. Lots of upgrades are standard. Double sunroofs, power seats, power side mirrors, AWD, heated front seats, GPS, satellite radio, rear view camera and more. My vehicle has never had any mechanical issues. I have only taken it in for regular maintenance, oil changes, and yearly inspections. It was used for the last 8 years commuting in the Washington dc area, which is the worst traffic on vehicles wear and tear. Yet my Kia Sportage is still beautiful and running great!

The sound system is integrated great with taking and making calls.
It's a very reliable car that gets me through the snow effectively. It also has tons of cargo space for storing all sorts of fun stuff. The AWD system is very nice and I like how I am able to lock it in AWD for when the computers don't know what I am dealing with.

Front seat comfort level for 2011.
I loved my car for about the first 6 years. After that I started having some problems such as replacing brakes every year to just little things breaking. My major flaw with the car that I have always had a problem with was the way the front seats are designed. They are not comfortable. After a short time I get uncomfortable in the seats. I have had complaints from passengers as well about this.

Why my car is so great and reliable
I love my 2011 Kia Sportage because it's a standard like I like and it is also a SUV as I am a mother it has plenty of room for me and my daughter. I can haul and store most things. It also has great gas Mileage as I drive 45 miles one way to work 5 days a week.
