It drives very well on wet streets and gets good gas mileage for Its size.
I like how it handles and the storage space. I think the safety features could be enhanced. I also like the sound system and heated seats. The cargo space needs better design, everything moves around too much.

Mitsubishi Outlander is a solidly built vehicle.
My Mitsubishi Outlander has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. I have regular recommended maintenance performed to keep it that way. The biggest issue I have faced is having recall work performed because my local dealership is no longer approved to complete it.

Easy maintenance and gas efficient.
The vehicle drives very well and is gas efficient. Maintenance is also very friendly as most spare parts are readily available and not too expensive. Finding an auto mechanic to work on the vehicle is very easy too, as most mechanics can easily handle it.

The vehicle has at least 3 recalls on it. One of which is the sunroof. I guess there is potential for it to shatter.
It's not bad for a vehicle that getting from point a to b. It's getting older and I want to look for a new one.

Mitsubishi outlander: SUV for years.
My 2008 Mitsubishi outlander has about 122, 000 miles. I love that it is very spacious with a big trunk. In 10 years I only had to do one major work on it. I had to change the right front axle but I bought the part online and my mechanic changed it. The job cost me about $300 including parts and labor. This was very cheap considering the axle would cost $700 in a Mitsubishi dealer. You can find high quality parts for Mitsubishi online. This is an affordable SUV easy to maintain and very reliable. It is also keyless with electronic seats and other nice features like Bluetooth . I would love to see a hybrid SUV, will buy without a doubt. The 2018 and 2019 models look very promising with a modern touch.

Don't buy this Mitsubishi. There quality of cars is of the poorest of any car I have ever owned.
The carpets and are of poor quality. The am portion of the radio stop working after about a year. The windshield washer never works in the winter even with a de-icer fluid. The car insulation is about as thin as paper.

It is overall a reliable car for how old it is.
I like that it is an SUV but not a mom car or a very large SUV. I like that it has good gas mileage. I do not like that it accelerates very slowly.

Good space in the truck and comfortable.
Good space it fits about 5 people is not that expensive in gas you can travel anywhere in that car the truck is big enough to fit a lot of bags when going to a road trip or when going to be beach. No matter where you drive that car would not let you down.

Please don't buy this vehicle it's not practical for any use.

Mitsubishi outlander performance.
Performance is excellent. No problems with the car. It rides smoothly and does not jerk. I like the dual airbags and the seats are comfortable. It takes good gas mileage. I can for five people comfortable. I like the trim too. It has a nice radio system.

The speed is the best part.
It is an SUV but it is also got a kick to it, gets up to speed very quickly, great breaks. Barely touch the brakes and your already in the windshield. Music sounds great with the CD player, comfortable cloth soft seats. Extra seats in the back holds 2 more people. Long lasting car.

A great all around vehicle.
I really like my car, it's comfortable and has a good amount of room in it. It has been reliable for me. The only thing I would like is better leather less road noise and some of the newer technologies that have come out since.

Outstanding outlander makes this girls car dreams.
The ecu unit went out and I had no windshield wipers on front and was unable to adjust mirrors. It has tons of room. It has great stereo system. It is great on gas! Love the color. It seats 5. The locking gas cap broke and had to have it replaced.

This thing has a very light touch on the pedal, best to be careful when pressing it.
I love the size of the interior, the electric windows and sunroof. Dislike the problems that come with owning a car that's 10-years-old.

My vehicle gets very good gas mileage on the highway and on back roads.
My vehicle is good since it get very good gas mileage. Also has a ton of cargo space and it is easy to install car seats in. I have not had any issues in the 10 years I have had it. Very dependable vehicle.

2008 Mitsubishi Outlander: Dependable vehicle for an on the go family
Overall, it's a solid vehicle. It has good ground clearance and automatic traction control. It also has door handle locking and unlocking of the car, although it is somewhat irritating that only the passenger side door unlocks all the vehicle doors. The dome light automatically turns off after a set amount of time, even if a door is open, which is extremely helpful with forgetful kids.

2008 Mitsubishi Outlander
My 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander is a very reliable car. It previously belonged to my mom then was given to me. No major issues other than normal wear and tear. My main complaint is that it has no aux cord or Bluetooth to play music through. Other than that, the car is highly reliable and still runs great.

I like the size, the fact that the back seats fold down, and that it's comfortable. I don't like the fact that the bluetooth doesn't work well or the fact that the accelerator pedal is quite touchy. If you push down too hard, it squeals the tire very easily.
It is fairly roomy when you are traveling with other person. You can fit quite a lot into it. It's of a size that you don't have to be concerned about fitting well into a traffic lane, and it's short enough that you can easily get in and out of parking spaces with no difficulty

Rated 2008 top SUV for safety and overall performance.
My 2008 outlander. Came equipped with 4cyl. Engine, state of the art stereo system, with smartphone capable, power windows and heated, power seats, sunroof, cold a/c and GPS system. From day one I felt very comfortable, it fit me "like a glove " I have owned this vehicle for over 8 years. And have not had any major problems. Just regular "wear n tear".

Reliable but has its faults.
The vehicle is great! It drives smoothly and gets pretty good mileage. The top of the car is very light though, so when turning you need to be careful because the car is a high rollover risk. The air conditioner works really well in the front, but it doesn't have any vents for the back seat and it doesn't do that great of a job of circulating through the back. But it is a nice car that has held up very well!

I really like my vehicle. The only issue I have with it is that the interior of the car feels a little cheap. The paint has chipped a little over time. The engine runs great, and the gas mileage is not bad. Rides pretty smoothly, and the sound system is pretty good as well.

It is easy and fun to drive in traffic while providing a safe environment.
I like the comfort and the ease of driving. The heated seats make a long trip more enjoyable. The interior is roomy and the storage space is more than adequate. The only complaint is that the right tire wears faster.
