It is very Lucius it has sunroof and power windows and heated seats in the front it would be nice if it was in the back too though. It is got a moon roof that does not even open though. And it is long and skinny. Goes from the front to the back seat. Has a lot of space in both the front and back seats. And the trunk as well. The seats fold down and the radio has a big screen that goes with it that is not touch screen though.

Nissan is a great vehicle! My car has over 200,000 miles on it and although we have had to replace a lot of parts under the hood it is still by far the best car I've ever owned! I would definitely buy another Nissan vehicle in the future and suggest Nissan to my friends

Blue sedan it drives smoothly has a moon roof which runs the length of the car.
The only thing I would want is an actual sunroof instead of a moonroof and the fuel econ thing needs to be more accurate those are about the only problems I have with the car besides that I love it the way the car picks up speed is great and the brakes stop on almost a dime so you don't have to be to concerned about braking super early.

Fast Family Car with style
This year of the Maxima, 2004 is very nice. The car is very spacious with good trunk room. It has a 6 disc changer and tape player but no USB plugs or Bluetooth connections. The car still runs well in 2019 but the paint has deteriorated on the trunk and hood and working down the back panels. Overall good car, oh keep loose change out the middle console in front of the gear shift. One penny knocked my entire computer system out, locking the car.

My Nissan maxima is an amazing car that I highly recommend.
I love my maxima. I drive it daily and it handles great as well as it is great on gas. It came with a factory radio with Bose speakers which makes the stereo that much better. I love the sunroof as well as it is electric. The performance on this car is amazing, great for a road trip on just around town. The most comfortable car that I have ever had with the all power package. Truly a reliable care with very little issues.

Maxima large and in charge
Great interior space as well as trunk space. Very powerful engine as well. Had transmission problems in the past. Gas mileage is strong for a bigger vehicle. Paint has held up, metal strips on the top of the roof has gotten sun damaged. Factory tires also has recall issues.

I love my car. After I fix the sensor. My car will drive very smooth.
One of the sensors keeps detaching. Otherwise, it drives very nice. The battery is correctly dead and unsure if it has an oil leak, very nice color, fully loaded, it has leather seats, a sunroof, power locks and windows, nice stereo. When the sensor detaches, it will just stop. It doesn't matter if it is on the highway or street. If I drive 80 mph to have a chance that the sensor doesn't detach and keep the moving.

My Maxima is magnificent!
My 2004 Maxima has been very reliable as was the Maxima that I owned previously. I purchased it used in 2013 and have been extremely happy. My mechanic cannot believe how this car runs for a 14 year old. In fact he offered to buy it from me. This vehicle has comfortable seating and it has climate control that has not failed. The vehicle has needed very basic and the usual repairs for a "mature" car. I had the brake pads replaced twice in 5 years, exhaust pipe replaced and a new radiator was needed last summer otherwise nothing very costly.

Amazing for traveling and short trips.
I spent 9 hours one way and no complaints roomy rides nice great highway mileage things I don't like parts are a little expensive and hard to find them in a junkyard which is a good thing that's how you know it's reliable handles great cruising on the back roads heated seats heated steering wheel great heater warms up quick when its cold out.

Valve lifters as to be replaced at too low of mileage. 120000 miles is to low.
It is the most luxurious model in the Nissan lineup. It's a four-door sedan. Power everything. Navigation system, all leather. My dislike is had to get new valve lifters at 120000 miles.

Cost effective on maintenance
For all owners having transmission problems. A quality Transmission Repair Facility found I only required a sensor and not a new Transmission as the dealer tried to sell me. Same issue of engine knock. The dealer wanted $4,000.00 to replace timing belts. Lock mechanic suggested using Synthetic oil and Premium Gasoline. Problem solved. Front driver seat forward and back mechanism failed. Dealer wanted $2,000.00 to replace component. Took it to a mechanic who re-built the component for $300.00. Otherwise I love this car. Need to buy

Easy for anyone to maneuver
It's obviously an older car, but there's a few issues with it. Consumes too much gas, faulty transmission, gas tank problem, motor problems, and electrical. However, it is a nice sized car and is easy to maneuver. It fits a fair amount of things and people inside. Lasts a good amount of mileage if taken care of.

The Nissan maxima sl is true luxury with all the power you need.
All the luxuries one would need. Heating steering wheel and heated seats. Bose sound system. A Moonroof. Automatic windows, seats, and steering wheel. Leather interior, can get hot in the summer. The engine is powerful with great acceleration. Very comfortable to drive even at its current age.

It is beyond comfortable, the seats fit me like a glove.
It's one of the most luxurious vehicles I have ever owned and a reasonable price. Only real downside is it does wear out the struts on the front pretty quickly.

2004 Nissan maxima review. . Love my car!
I really love my Nissan maxima, the drive is smooth its excellent on gas. I haven't really had to many problems with it. The car is reliable. I have had some issues with what the flapper. Which makes the car sound as if it needs an oil change. Parts are kind of expensive for this particular vehicle but I believe that goes to show that the car is a quality car.

Beautiful car that combines good basics with lots of extra features.
Pros: fast, good looking, reasonably fuel efficient, dependable, comfortable, lots of extras, good balance between features and basics. Beautiful vehicle!! Cons: some problems with trim. A "hitch" in the acceleration. Interior ( leather seats, roof liner, etc.) has not held up as good as the exterior.

That it's been a very good, dependable car and I like it very much.

The transmission went out at about 160000 miles. To me that's way to soon. This was common with that year model.
I like that it is roomie for a sedan. Has lots of trunk space. I don't like that It doesn't have satellite radio.

Love the heated steering wheel and seats in the winter.
Very good quality in performance. Never had any major problems. Only, one minor problem with alternator. All electrical parts are good. All power is good. Only, problem is with top coat on driver's side from years of direct sunlight. The top coat is peeling.

It is a reliable little car and easy on gas.
I love my vehicle. It has had some hiccups but everything so far has been easy fixes. It is a little beat up but it has for the most part been a reliable car. It has enough room for our little family and is not a gas hog. All in all it is a great car.

I don't think there's anything important to know but I do recommend a Nissan of any kind. They really are good cars.
It runs properly and the seats are quite comfy. There is quite a bit of mileage on it but I feel it'll get me through a few years. It's a nice dark gray color and I have no complaint about it really. It get me from point A to point B in an efficient manner.

My input on a Nissan Maxima.
After so many years of owning a car, it's bound to have repairs that need done just from normal wear and tear. However if you don't check/change your fluids often, you don't rotate your tires about every 3 months, or you don't do any service repairs then I'm sure your vehicle will have lots of problems. As for me, I love my Nissan. It's been a great car and it's close to 200,000 miles on it

It's a great all around ride!
My maxima is a great vehicle just being older it's starting to show wear and tear. As a whole it has been a great vehicle over the years and has plenty miles left in it! Haven't really had to perform a ton of upkeep on it. Just the normal were from the miles being put on it. Comfortable, lots of space, and plenty of trunk space!

The maxima has state of the art Bose sound system.
The steering is tight and gives driver full control on the road. Car runs very quiet and so smooth you barely can feel it is running. Large windshield makes it easy to see from wide ranges. Sunroof is unique and can let just enough air in.

This car is fantastic, owned it for 2 years now and put 35k on it. I lowered it and added some power modifications and this thing is quick. Has issues with burning oil so check it every week or so just to be sure. Great looking car and so much power and luxury for the money.

Nissan maxima is very high end and easy on the pocket book.
My car has all the bells and whistles... From automatic locks and windows. Heated seats on those cold days. My car gets 29 mpg in town and 37 mpg on why The maintenance on this beauty is very simple. If I can do it anyone can! Bluetooth and reverse camera the list goes on and on... You can't go wrong with a Nissan.

Only problem I've had with the car, is the windows power went out. Other than that simple problem, it's one of the best cars I've ever driven and owned. It is very reliable, I've never broke down or had any trouble with other parts. It is very comfortable, the leather interior is extremely nice.

No problems, just tune up and change spark plugs. Great car to have for years. Most people think the maxima is useless but personally I love my car. Most of my family is in the maxima family. Everybody should have a maxima. Buy the car and you will love it.

Do not buy used, Recommended buy this car new
Good car it just needs something fixed on it way too often. Everything that has fluid leaks. It is terrible on gas. It might be alright if it was newer but it has to many problems. I bought it used with over 100,000 miles on it & it now has almost 200,000 miles. I have had to fix way too much on it.

Safety, it has a lot of air bags in it and The car has a very comfortable ride.
The car didn't hold up. It preform as I expected. The engine wore out only after a few years. It did however have a smooth ride.

Great old car. Some problems but still kicking!
We have had our Nissan for four years and it is still kicking. It has its issues but with 202,000 miles that is to be expected. My wife loves he heated seats and steering wheel. I love that it is paid for. The transmission kicks, it leaks coolant, and will overheat when the coolant gets low but it has not died yet. When it does finally give up the ghost we would love to get another newer Nissan maxima with fewer miles. I would highly recommend this car to friends and family.

Good quality auto; has a Bose stereo system.
I have had only one problem, and that was with the alternator. That was in 2017, after having car for 13 yrs. Replaced battery once at the same time. That is the only problem I have ever had. It is a good quality car and very reliable. I like the heated steering wheel, and seats.
