Fun to drive. Handles great. Five speed on the floor. Been reliable for 10 years and I bought it used. Check engine light is on constantly and some of the dashboard lights don't work.

The car is overall fast and sturdy. The car jumps once your foot is on the gas.
My car is small, white and low. The car is fast and has no tire covers. It does not have any notable problems. When you drive the car, however, the light on the dashboard says “service engine soon”. Some of the sensors in the car are messed up. I have already fixed most of the sensors but whenever I fix one, another one decides to mess up. It is always one after the other.

Our household vehicle is a compact, older vehicle but is handy, reliable, and gas efficient. Although compact, it is roomy enough to carry five people, luggage, purchases. I only wish it had a moon- or sunroof.

It's a sporty looking car. Issues with starting but hasn't ever not started. No one has figured out the issue. Airbag recall. Rides nice. Has the 6 CD Stereo with fogarty(?) sound system. Tinted windows. Keyless entry. Cloth seats. Automatic.

Great gas mileages, great appearances, and we love it.
Had this car for 13 years, only had a problems once fuel pump. Over 200, 000 on it now and still runs great. Not afraid to take it on any trip in the united states. My kids say's get a new one but this one is great and me and my wife are happy with it. My next car will be a Nissan Sentra also.

Nissans Are The Best Cars!!!
My Nissan is the most reliable car I've ever owned. I got it in 2008 and have only needed to replace the starter - everything else has been normal maintenance. With 263K miles, it still runs like a dream.

It's a great practical car
It's a very durable car factory parts last a long time. Things will go out like CD player windows might squeak a bit but it is 20 years old. Basically everything can be replaced but the engine will be last that's how great it is. I think it's a great car for teenagers.

It has high mileage and had overall been pretty dependable.
I like it is easy handling and compact size. It is easy to get my toddler in and out of her car seat because it is a 4 door. It gets really good gas mileage city and highway. As it gets older, there are issues with the electric windows and the shocks, but overall it has been a good dependable vehicle.

Good first car! Its reliable and low on maintenance
Car is very reliable and good on gas. I have had no issues with performance. Car is a little small but is good for commuting to work and getting around town. It doesn't have a bunch of fancy updates like the newer cars but radio works good. Only issue is one window won't roll down. It's a good first car.

How to care for it. What are the best oils needed for your type of model.
I like that it hold gas well. However, the Service Engine Soon light always comes on. My Transmission is often messing up and the brakes are bad. The money I'll be spending to take care of it all should be going towards a new car. Oh, and my mechanic just recently died a few months ago. He's been taking care of my car since 2011 (the year I got it). So now I have to spend more for maintenance.

Its small silver very clean runs great.
My vehicle doesn't have any problems at all. It was my mothers and she took care of it and so do I. It has less than 60,000 miles on it and it just drive it to the grocery store, laundromat and to doctor appointments. Never far off places no more than 20 miles from my place of residency.

I love my little Nissan Sentra!
Very reliable car! I love it! Great gas mileage. Once or twice the gas pedal has locked up but it's a safety measure of the car feels something else might be wrong. Could have stronger A/C for people in the back; but it's not bad. Perfect car if you have to commute far to work.

Can be a good car but can also take a lot of maintenance.
My car currently has a transmission problem that sounds like it is growling anytime the acceleration goes. Also the blower for the air conditioner makes a weird buzz sound as well when turned on. I would repair it but at this point it does not seem like it is worth it.

My car is a comfortable and reliable vehicle. Recently the transmission has given some problems, but with the proper care it runs like brand new. There is plenty of space for families and a comfortable speaker system. The car is silver and interior is non leather.

My car is in really rough shape right now. We live in a Connecticut campground & the road is so bad & has been that my muffler has been ripped off. And knocked my car out of alignment and also needed struts. I don't have that income at this time. Not real happy in the performance of how it's running. Recommend only when tuning properly.

I have had to do no major updates or work on the vehicle. The city and highway mileage is fantastic. The tank doesn't usually take more than 20 dollars of gasoline to fill up. Oil changes or services are typically not expensive. I bought the vehicle 3 years ago and have only had to change the brakes, tires, and rotors.

This car is reliable and is a good bang for the buck.
It has 90, 000 miles on it and has never had an issue. It is a base model and so the windows still need to be rolled up manually but other than that it is a good car and we own it. It is 4 doors and seats 5. It gets about 30 miles to the gallon and does really well on longer road trips. It also does not do too bad in the Utah snow.

Good vehicle all the way around and it is 13 years old.
The Nissan Sentra is and has been a great car all the way around. Only a couple of minor problems but have always taken it to the dealership for regular maintenance such as oil changes and thing like that. Nothing but good things to say about this vehicle. It went through a overheating problem but was completely fixed up after that. Nothing other than that.
It was an ok vehicle it got me where I needed to go. I got it when I was a freshman as a gift so I had something to get around in (was a great beginner car). It still works.

Not the best fuel mileage for a smaller car. Not much trunk space.
I like the size of my car. It is nice and small for a person of my size 5 foot and large enough to seat 5 people as well as more than enough space in the trunk. The passenger seat seatbelt light constantly blinks regardless of there being a passenger.

Older model cars, problems and perks.
Its an old car, battery, transmission, steering problems, it was totaled before, gas mileage is 13 mpg in the city and 15hwy, I use it to get to doctor appointments and grocery shopping, the seats are not comfortable, stereo system is great though, I've had 3 recalls for airbag on drivers side and passenger side.

It is a very tricky car to drive.it has a personality of its own. Some days she will run just fine and other days she really don't care to go anywhere. It is like a person in its own right.

Horrible car, only good on gas.
Old car so had lots of problems. Has rolling windows and non electric locks. Have had to put about $3000 into it within 1 year. Only good thing about it is it's kind of good on gas. Exterior is rusting but under the hood everything looks good.

It is a solid runner, older car. Comfortable and good on gas. I have been very happy with it over the last 6 months. It's been very reliable, never had a problem starting even in cold weather. Not very nippy, but suits me fine. Had a new fuel pump at 64k miles.

I have not had any major problems with my Nissan. Change your oil and keep it service will take you a long way. For a 4 cylinder it really saves on gas. Very reliable car. My car seats five and it is comfortable. The 6 CD changer is great if you are into music and the speaker in the trunk nice.

This car has been in the family since 2005 and has ran great since we have had to replace a few things because of accidents or mistakes we have made but other than that it has ran great. It has been in a few accidents since my family has owned the car but we have been very good about staying on top of replacing what needs to be replaced but overall it is a very dependable car.

I recently got into a car accident, so now my car is absolutely breaking down day by day. The front bumper got ripped off from the accident and the windshield is completely shattered. I would purchase another Nissan Sentra.
Slow to defrost windows. Adequate pick up. Very reliable. Starts readily every time driven. Perfect amount of room in front seats. Legs cramped in back seat. Nice radio and CD player. Nice shiny metal flake paint job which has never faded. Rear bumper does not handle minor, low impact collisions. Original price quite reasonable. No mechanical issues. Just requires routine maintenance.

Although it may not be the most stylish vehicle on the road, it's very reliable and inexpensive to maintain.
My sentra is very reliable and gets good mileage. I bought it used, but have not had any problems with the engine. A few plastic accessories have broken because of sun exposure, but other than that, I've been very happy with the car.

Fast, family friendly car.
The car is awesome, but, considering it is a ten year old car and has seen lots of accidents, it has its ups and downs. But that is a personal issue. The car is very nice and cozy and can go pretty fast. It has had recall issues in the past regarding the air bag on the passenger side but the dealership gave it a quick fix with no complaints.

Amazingly reliable budget car
This car has been amazing. It's not the biggest and best vehicle, but fits everything I need and is extremely reliable. Love low mileage and compactness of vehicle.
Not too many known manufacturing defects or issues. Bought vehicle from original purchased owner at about 185,000 miles and have ran into normal car wear and tear issue with: brakes, control arms, alignment, wheel bearings, shocks /struts, and fuse, but no engine or transmission issue, other then mileage recommend changes for motor mounts, and other parts.

It's sporty, has a moonroof, and the audio package. I wanted something bigger, but with all of the options when I bought it in 2005. This was a good compromise. Very reliable, and fun to drive. Only complaint is that it's a little small.

2 yr. Owned used Nissan Sentra 2005, bought used.
The car that I drive, a Nissan Sentra 2005 is definitely an older model vehicle. I bought it used and have had it 2 years and so far the only thing I have had to replace on it is windshield wiper blades and 4 new tires. It runs pretty good and the only drawback is in my opinion is that the radio knobs and heater and air conditioner settings seem to be cheap because they break off easily. I live in west Virginia where they do the state inspection and mine is coming up and the vehicle does have some rust on it so I do not believe it will pass and I am not going to do any body work to fix it so I will be looking for a new vehicle. But as far as the car goes I really didn't have much trouble with it and was pretty satisfied with it. It got pretty good gas mileage for as old as it was. The CD player did not work but the stereo wasn't bad with decent speakers.

Well it is a well built car. It can handle quite a beating. It is prone to sensors needing to be replaced after a long period of time. It is a reliable vehicle. The turn radius can be a bit much if you are not use to the vehicle. It has a great deal of miles on it so the car will last a while. Overall a very well built car for the average buyer.

It is comfortable for me to drive. The only thing I do not like is that the seat does not raise up. I am very short so I have to sit on a pillow. This might be fixed in newer models but that is my only complaint. Smooth drive- easy on gas. It is a great ca.

It is not the flashiest car, and it gave me some recall and repair issues in the first years, but I have come to be okay with it. I would not recommend it over a toyota or honda, but it is okay.

Small car but very reliable.
Really the only problems my car has had is the transmission shifts harder than it used to. My at is very reliable any time I need it. It is comfortable except I have a child in a car seat and a child in a booster seat so it is a little small. It does have an auxiliary port, and a 6 disc CD changer which is really nice.

2005 Nissan Sentra: A Fantastic Used Car Option!
My 2005 Nissan Sentra is awesome, still runs like a charm with over 95k miles on it. Occasionally I do have to get my vehicle fixed for random engine issues, but that's a given with a car this old. It's easy to maneuver, has great MPG, and fits into just about any parking space you need it to!! In addition this car also has a stereo that can be removed if one would like to put in their own custom stereo. Overall I love my car and would recommend to someone looking to buy a used vehicle.

It is a small car that has good acceleration. It has lasted over 12 years.
I have only ever had issues with the check engine light coming on. But turned off after oil changes. I had an issue where when I'd step on the breaks the entire car would shake. But it has been a quick fix changing the coils and the spark plugs solved the issue.

It is decent quality for the price, however there are better options.
I do not like how it runs during the winter months, and how cheaply made the car is. Seems to always struggle during cold temperature and handles snow poorly. What I like is how cheap it is to maintain, and the amount of miles I have gotten so far for what I paid for the car.

Good car in the beginning but it's past its prime

I like that I have never had to pay for pull changes. I bought a lifetime oil change program for 99 dollars when I bought the car. I don't like the few color choices that were offered.

It is a somewhat fast car. It runs smoothly. The only problem is that the sensors are messed up. Every time I get once sensor fixed, another messes up. The light on the dashboard always lights up and says “service engine soon”. Other than that, the car works perfectly. It also has low mileage.

Reliable, just an older car with no bells n whistles.
Definitely a reliable car. Just fix what needs to be fixed and maintain it and it keeps running. I have to run the ac for my babies, so the acceleration and power especially uphill is poor. When it is just me it has some get up n go! Just like all older cars, you need to be moving to keep the ac cold otherwise keep it on circulating the air and it will keep cool even when parked. It has had trouble turning on for some years. The engine will turn over, but it might take a few tries. The dealership, mechanics, manual have nothing to say on this matter. The starter, alternator, engine, plugs, fluids are all in perfect working condition. So just something inexplicable and weird going on with this make and model.

Nothing interesting, just your standard sedan.
Occasionally does not start on the first try and the ac does not really work well. I wish it had better gas mileage. Sometimes it makes a weird noise when it sits running for some time. Very comfortable ride. Easy to handle and have never had any problems. Other than the issues listed above it works perfectly.

There are some electrical problems. Such as the back-light on the LCD display in the dash doesn't work. The fan knob also doesn't work so I have no heat or ac. The airbag recall was a pain in the a*s,but other than those things, the car runs well
