Owning a Toyota truck for leisure use.
We have no issues with the vehicle so far. We love it and how well it drives. The inside cab area is nice with plenty of room when our kids are with us. The bed gives us ample room to pack for camping, groceries or trips. The gas mileage is ok - as good to be expected.

Love my workhorse!! Would recommend to anyone needing a small 4wd truck.
Extremely reliable. Is also my work truck used daily for commercial shellfishing. A true workhorse plenty of room for my equipment also for all the extras needed such as tags. Zip ties extra clothing need for layering etc. Wish it had intermittent wipers and fewer blind spots.

Most reliable vehicle I've owned.
This is a great vehicle. Its comfortable, decent on gas for a truck. We've had minimal issues for a car going on 10 years. Any issue we've had we were able to have serviced without the truck breaking down. Will absolutely get another Tacoma when it some time to. Btw, we are still riding strong at 260000 miles.

All around performance vehicle.
Extremely reliable, with regularly scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. This truck has been a smooth sailor. With no off road aftermarket parts, this truck has been able to take me to some really off road places, the stock frame, suspension, etc. Have the ability to get you almost anywhere you could ever need to go.

Awesome truck highly recommend for anyone looking for a mid size pickup.
I love this truck it is such a great size and performance is awesome! I use it to get to hunting spots off road and handles great good mpg. Only issue I have had is the cruise control sometimes sits a gear low and the rpms are high. The sound system in the truck is also really good.

Tacoma is great with some minor things to consider.
Has good mileage and rarely has problems except when you do not run it enough in the winter time and have get a jumper cable to start it up. Has not been in any accidents. The tires in it have to take nitrogen. I am keeping this vehicle for a long time until I find another one like it.

Small compact truck that can get any job done a bigger truck can.
My white Toyota Tacoma offers spacious room in the cab even with it being a smaller truck, it is perfect for loading up the truck to go camping, fishing and hunting. I use it to load up my four wheeler which fits perfectly in the bed of my truck. Also, I attach the boat to the back of it and it pulls it with ease and the turn radius is outstanding even with putting 33s and a two inch lift on it. My dad had a 1998 Toyota Tacoma and I loved him so I always wanted one of my own and we finally got one. I would not trade this truck for anything. The only problem is there is a seal leak somewhere and the floor mats get a little damp when it rains.

A very reliable vehicle, smooth ride, no apparent problems.
Bought this vehicle new. It has always been a very reliable vehicle. I have never had any serious problem with the performance. The one thing that I am not fond of is when parked and putting into 4 wheel drive sometimes you have to put into drive before it goes in.

Great truck for everyday adventures.
The baseline Toyota Tacoma is a great vehicle. Perfect for hauling yard debris and landscaping materials. The cloth interior is easy to clean and durable. The seats are fairly comfortable for short trips, but not long distance. Regular maintenance keep the Toyota Tacoma running smoothly and worry free. It's one of the least expensive vehicles to service that I've owned.

It is a truck. And it is fairly new and not for hire
Likes...It is pretty fuel efficient. It can haul a lot of equipment or materials. It has a good ac and heater and it has an audio input so I can listen to audio off my smartphone. I don't like how small the cab is. I wish I would have bought a truck with an extra cab.

I love my truck. I am high off the ground and it hauls all kinds of stuff. It hauls more than what I believe it would be able to. I love the smooth ride and durability. Sleek design. The comfort level is wonderful. Air and heat work great. No complaints. I love my truck.

Red 2010 Toyota Tacoma with skull caps.
Comfortable seats with plenty of room in the bed of the truck. Plenty of legroom in the cab. Wonderful gas mileage and incredibly durable. Very reliable truck. Runs like a charm. Only complaint is the vehicle was recalled to do an issue with a spiral cable.

Handles mountain roads and snow well. It is good on gas. It's smaller than would like. Would like a Diesel engine

The Tacoma is a very reliable vehicle. I've never had any major problems with it. There was one repair made to the air conditioning, but I've had no major issues with the car. It's not incredibly comfortable but its reliability has more than compensated for comfort.

Great truck. Would buy again if I was in the market.
Gas mileage can be a bit low. Great reliable vehicle with no mechanical problems so far. Very versatile and fun truck. The resale value for Toyota trucks is excellent. I have yet to replace any. Major parts after 130,000 miles. If I was in the market, I would buy it again.

Love the Tacoma! Very happy customer.
Love this truck! Never had any issues with my Tacoma. Roomy front and back seats. I put aftermarket tires on it so the gas mileage is about 12 miles per gallon, which is the only not great thing. In the bed of the truck you can plug anything in that needs power. Pretty amazing.

My Toyota Tacoma is fast, reliable, and efficient. Gets the job done
I own a 2010 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner. It is spacious and drives really well on freeway. It is my daily driver so it has a lot more miles than my other vehicles but runs smooth even though it has a six inch lift. Only problem is I spend 70 - 80 U.S dollars a week for gas, but it comes with the territory. The aux port doesn't work anymore and is a bummer for me because I hate waiting through commercials on the radio. I recently put a new transmission due to pulling heavy duty trailers which is not recommended.
accountCircle Rebecca A on February 1, 2021
My opinion is Toyotas run far better than other models.
Any problems I have with my truck is always cheap to fix. Toyota is great that way. As long as you keep up on everyday maintenance it doesn't have major issues. The price on replacement parts are fair and most times on the cheap side. My a/c gets cool quick and stays cool if just parked idling. My stick radio system is amazing for being stock.

Good, even great for those who love the outdoors.
Very reliable, I routinely drive it on long expeditions that involve both highway and off road travel. My Tacoma has been reliable, safe, and comfortable and at times has served as my bed for extended periods of time. On hunting trips in the cold it handles snow and rough terrain nicely, and in the summer it traverses dirt and rocks with ease. The interior is easily cleaned, though leather seats would be a valuable investment for a lifestyle that is heavy on the outdoors and low on the upkeep. I am of average size, and I find the Tacoma go provide adequate space, though I would not describe it as extremely roomy. The gas mileage is acceptable provided what I put the vehicle through.

Comfortable to drive and has been reliable.
It has been very reliable over the years, and it only has minor problems. There are some weird noises, sometimes the radio randomly turns off, and the gas tank door catches, but it is comfortable to drive and I really like the placement of the small back-up camera.

Good reliable truck that will last forever.
I love my Toyota Tacoma. It is a 2010 but the previous owner took really good care of it. The positive notes are it is a really good, reliable truck and will last forever if taken care of. The only negative things are that the windows and locks are manual. Also the radio is a little outdated as it still has a CD player. Overall it is a good reliable truck that will last for generations to come.

2010 Toyota Tacoma double cab v6. No vehicle problems. Performance is awesome, very reliable vehicle! Only thing I had to switch off is the make of the off road tires it came with, to noisy for me. Comfort is okay, seats are a little to rough. Vehicle features, satellite radio, aux, Bluetooth, cam.

2010 Toyota Tacoma review.
The radio volume does not work; have to use volume on the steering wheel. It is comfortable. Back seat is too small for a car seat. The backup camera is on the rear view mirror which is cool and handy; does not take up space. The bed is roomy and sturdy.

2010 Toyota Tacoma experience; pros and cons.
The vehicle is reliable, spacious and stylish. Unfortunately, however, it did not come with cruise control so I had to have that installed. I feel like this is a great mid-sized truck, plenty of room with the six foot bed and plenty of room for passengers in the crew cab. I do not use my truck for hauling though so I am not sure how it performs compared to full sized trucks in that department. It also is not exactly a super smooth ride.

Toyota Tacoma: a full-sized truck in a mid-sized package.
The Toyota Tacoma is the best truck I have ever owned. It is reliable, comfortable on long trips, and a joy to drive. Additionally, it is fuel economy makes this vehicle an intelligent economical choice. Perhaps one of the most surprising features of this truck is the large cabin. Great reliability and capability
Over 110,000 miles and it's never been in the shop. Tires, oil/filter, brake pads and a few tail lights due to my own negligence is all that's been done. Very reliable and very capable truck. Has towed large campers and trailers with no issue at all. Many long trips and it's been comfortable and, with the bed cover, great for luggage. If I had to point out any "flaw" it would be that the truck does have a fairly high amount of road and wind noise. To be fair I have off road tires on it so that certainly doesn't help. Awesome truck that still looks fantastic and still gets lots of compliments and offers from people to buy it off me. You just can't go wrong with a Tacoma.

Good truck, tall people beware
Overall great truck. Does everything I need, yet still very maneuverable and has an awesome turning radius. No problems pulling into tight parking spots. 2010 Toyota Tacoma, great for small truck.
This is a great little truck. I do a lot of craft fairs and it is perfect for hauling all my stuff. In the wintertime I use studded tires living in the state of Maine feel it is needed. Sometimes I also add extra weight in the back on ice roads. It is not a heavy duty truck being it is only a 2 wheel drive but it fits my needs. Owning a four door pick up truck is an all around vehicle to have.
I enjoy the space of having a 4 door pick up truck. You do not feel like you are cramming people in the back. There is enough leg room for them and the seats are full seats that are comfortable with hidden cargo spots under and behind the seats which is great for storing stuff. I enjoy the feel and handling of the pickup truck and especially enjoy the four wheel drive option. Simply flip a switch and you've got four wheel drive. No getting out to lock the hubs in place during a snowstorm or when you are stuck in the mud. I enjoy having the bed of the truck to transport items and even help with yard work. The truck is an all around vehicle to have. Drives smooth like a car and works hard when you need it to.

My Tacoma has been dependable and economic to own. It has 148,000 miles and I have only had routine maintenance done and replaced the brakes. I have owned ford, dodge, and Chevrolet products and they pale in comparison to my Tacoma with it is reliability, low operating costs, and offers the comfort of an SUV. Toyota Tacoma trucks are built to last.
I love almost everything about my Tacoma except that I wish I had gone with the sr package instead of the trd. The off-road suspension is quite stiff and makes for a bumpy ride, I use the truck in the city 99% of the time so the sr would have been better suited for it. If you do go off-roading or just drive in rural areas a lot then the trd package will work just fine. No major engine issues so far, I do give it the recommended service maintenance so maybe that makes a difference. The only major repair was to the rack and pinion after I skidded sideways during a rainy day and hit the curve quite hard, actually went over it and knocked down a speed limit sign. I drove the truck for over a year before I noticed the noise getting worse and mechanic said the bearings were damaged, needed to replace the rack and pinion. No leaks, transmission or any other type of repairs have been done. Even though it has over 75k miles I still just do standard oil changes, no high mileage or full synthetic. Highly recommend Toyota Tacoma, they are well built trucks.

My Tacoma is reliable and I love the way it looks.
I have had my Tacoma for ten years now and for the most part it has been great and I haven't had many problems. I got the frame replaced due to a recall, but other than that, it has not needed any major work. I do not have a lot of advanced features, but that is fine with me!

Amazing 2010 Toyota Tacoma, must read!
I have no had any problems with my vehicle. It is a very reliable vehicle. The gas mileage is amazing for a truck and it is a very smooth driver. The seats on the inside are comfortable and have seat warmers. I have a backup camera on my mirror which is wonderful to have and the truck is bright blue which is pretty to look at. I am very happy with this vehicle and would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone.

It's Mine. And not bad for an 8 year old truck and 26K.
Very very cute. Nice little truck. High off the ground. Nifty features. Low mileage for its years.

Toyota Tacoma truck is comfortable.
I have loved my truck since the day I bought it, has hardly had any problems or repairs. Still runs perfectly fine to this day with great gas mileage. The v6 engine is powerful yet comfortable. It does not feel overwhelming to drive the vehicle through small streets because the handling of the steering is smooth.

Very few complaints; Toyotas rock!
I recently purchased my Tacoma and I love the way it handles on the highway as well as off-road. It is quiet, and effortless in four-wheel-drive. The visibility is somewhat poor with a canopy but with time I have gotten used to it. The mud-flaps are a hard plastic material which is cumbersome when driving off-road, as they scrape on things and I just presume that one will break off and then I will simply remove them all. I think that flexible mud flaps or no flaps would be a better alternative. The tailgate does not lock which I find highly odd for a high-end brand like Toyota. The canopy flap locks but I will have to have a lock installed on the tailgate.

It has been very dependable. Although it has now had an issue with the head gasket and catalytic converters.
I enjoy the crew cab which allows me to travel with multiple friends. It did have a leak under the head gasket which cost about $3,000. Though it has over $200,000 miles.

Dependable, economical truck.
Anything made by Toyota is going to be very reliable and dependable. The truck drives really good and goes anywhere. There is plenty of room in the extended cab to accommodate a family. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone. You cannot go wrong with a Toyota Tacoma!

It Keeps on Running and has comfortable seats.
I have had my Toyota pickup truck for about 8 years and it has never broken down. I only do the maintenance every 6 months.

Perfect for just myself or a family. Vehicle has run great for 9 years.
I love the fact that it is very spacious. It's had 4 doors easy to get in and out of. Comfortably able to fit 5 people with leg room. Great storage room in console, glove box and under the back seats. The cloth fabric is easy to clean along with the removable floor mats. AC and heat work great with no problems which is awesome in Florida. The bed has plenty of room to haul anything I need to. Overall I could not be more happy with my Tacoma!

A dependable, affordable, economical and fun to drive
There have been no major problems, just the usual maintenance. It's a standard and I'm still on my original clutch. Minimal comfort, base features.

Toyota Tacoma will last forever
Very durable truck, over 200,000 miles and no major issues, not very large on the inside, most expensive resale value truck on the market

Great truck for anything and everything.
Great small truck with decent towing capacity. Small enough that it does not feel like overpowering but big enough to feel safe. Comfortable truck, good accessories. Able to get the job done. Great for long road trips across country as well as driving up into the mountains.

It's fabulous and you should get one. These trucks are extremely great to have if you do any off-roading!
It's a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with extended cab. Most amazing truck ! Would not have chosen anything to be different then as is. Super easy and affordable to work on as well! I have never had any problems with my truck but I do very good maintenance on it . In other words it is a very reliable vehicle. Comfort is great for a smaller size truck but having the extended cab helps. It came with Bluetooth hookups so that I am hands free and safe to talk while driving.

You do not have to sacrifice room.
I love my vehicle because it is a full 4 doors so plenty of room for friends and family. If I need to carry anything large there is a roomy truck bed that is also equipped with a plug so if you have electric lawn tools or just want to plug in a radio you can. It rides and drives wonderfully.

Our 'gunpowder' is unstoppable!
Our Tacoma is a workhorse! It is moved our entire household 3 times, driven over 200,000 miles, and gets through sticky, 4-wheel drive only roads without breaking a sweat. It is reliable, comfortable, safe, durable... Everything you could want in a truck!
