Safety, comfort and reliability
I can’t praise my odyssey enough. Comfortable, super reliable, economical and a great cruiser. What you get for you’re money is remarkable and would definitely buy again. Nice one Honda!

It's sliding doors. It's roomy for our kids. The navigation system.

My car makes me feel safe and comfortable. I enjoy driving it and my older kids have learned to drive on it as well and love it.
My Honda Odyssey has leather heated seats which I love in the winter! It also has a DVD player to keep the kids busy. The slider doors on both sides are wonderful for getting people in and out. And it gets decent gas mileage for a van.

Reliable Odyssey over 200,000 miles
My Odyssey has been an extremely reliable vehicle. It rarely needs more than the minimum service and has more than 200,000 miles.

Great for having lots of people, and that the wires was eaten by a groundhog.
I like the 8 seats, and that there are space to carry luggage. Wish it was a little more fuel efficient.

The Honda gets good gas mileage. It is comfortable for the passengers. I don't like that the gear shifter obstructs the view of the a.c. Controls.

Honda Odyssey - Perfect Family Vehicle
It has a high JD Power reliability score and rated high in safety scores by consumers and in crash tests by government and private party. I love it, even though it is older it drives amazing and is perfect for a family with kids. Honda Odyssey fan for life.

Terrific family car with lots of room for kids and pets, plus all of their stuff.
My Honda Odyssey has been a wonderful car. We bought it preowned at 50K miles and now it has about 175K. We have traveled all over the U.S. In it and it has been a workhorse. We love all of the room for suitcases and passengers. Usually we travel with 4 adults and 2 medium size dogs, plus all of their suitcases and food prep needs for a week or more and everything fits. We use the DVD player on trips or the 6 CD player for entertainment. There is an inverter in the back which helps make sure that e-devices all stay charged. We have had a few repairs needed, but they were all covered on the extended warranty. It came with run-flat tires and those have given us great peace of mind. An all around great car.

Love the Honda Odyssey. Plenty of room for 8 which works well for transporting our grandchildren. Very comfortable for long trips.

Like: drives easy/well, reliable, large enough to fit many people. Dislike: difficult to park, too large size, mileage.

Clunky but consistent - it is not fun to drive but it is generally reliable
It is too long to park easily. Its steering wheel is stiff at low speeds. It gets terrible gas mileage. I have never enjoyed driving it though, on the flip side, other than the steering wheel it has generally been reliable.

2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L with DVD and power side doors.
I bought my Honda Odyssey New in 2007, after having leased a 2004 Honda Odyssey. It is a very reliable and spacious vehicle. It comfortably seats 7. It has plenty of room to transport items or gear. It drives very nice and gets good gas mileage.

The Honda 2007 Odyssey Vehicle
The Honda Odyssey 2007 is a great car for a larger family. It has a built in DVD player along with a TV. The leather in the seat is very comfortable for long trips. The speed can go fast. The features in the car are high technology for the time. We got our car 12 years ago and it has served us well, even on our long road trips.

The perfect car for a growing family.
We initially bought this car because we knew it had good reviews. We decided to buy used. It did have low mileage that we liked. I wasn't happy that we had to replace the a/c right after we bought it. Also, it doesn't have an audio jack, so we don't have a way to play our music off of our phones. Overall though it is a reliable car.

It feels like it's always needing servicing by the dealership (dashboard light turns on) and it can be expensive.
I like that it's big enough to take camping and hold all our gear. I like that it his side doors that open/close automatically so my kids can get in and out without help. I don't like the mpg it gets. I also don't like how wide it feels.

They call the Honda Odyssey a mom van for good reason.
I absolutely love how spacious the vehicle is, that there is A/C controlled in the back of the van, there's a DVD player for long trips, the back seats set into the floor for more space, and that there are several ways to close the sliding doors rather than slam them shut or pry them open. I don't like that there are problems with the transmission, although it is at 200,000 miles. All around a pretty good vehicle. Rides smooth and the gas mileage isn't terrible.

Positives: very comfortable for all passengers, excellent sound system, XM radio, smooth ride, ample storage space. Negatives: wind noise, seat leather not high quality- cracks and splits despite regular conditioning, pax tires expensive.

2007 Honda odyssey the last of the big family car.
The vehicle when new was better. As time goes on the mechanics is still. The car has loosened up a bit meaning, it makes more creaking noises as I am driving. The performance is still okay considering it is an eleven year old car. I have done nothing major to the car just normal maintenance.

A great family car for those who needs space, reliability, and convenience.
The Honda Odyssey is a great car because of the space, reliability, and flexibility. With three rows of seats, it's great for a big family or transporting lots of friends. You can transport lots of things which is helpful for moving between homes or helping out friends. It's a very reliable car. My family has had this car since 2009, and ten years later it still runs reliably and we have only had one major issue with the alternator. The seats are comfortable, with seat heaters in the front. It's great for everyday travel, road trips, and everything in between.

The car rides well. My husband keeps up with the repairs it needed very little repairs. He takes the car to Honda dealer he gets oil changed really haven't had any major work just had a pump changed for the anti freeze the car has 120, 000 and continues to run well it has been to Florida back and forth several times we have taken it on many trips. The seats are leather they do get hot in the summer and cold in winter thy do have heated seats in the front. ;the van has plenty of room in it to fit everyone comfortably plenty of foot space. The seats fold back into the trunk seat can also be taken out in the middle also has room in 2 seat on floor that make an extra seat goes between the buckets seat in back in 2nd row. That will give more storage to put tapes and movies and etc. We have own the car for eleven years and I enjoy driving it.

I love the comfort and convenience that the Honda Odyssey brings me. It is easy to buckle in my toddlers and spacious enough for our teens. Honda Odyssey, 2007. This car has never had an accident.
My car is a Honda Odyssey 2007, this car has never had any engine problems. Few scratches throughout the years driving the car. This car is very reliable especially the fact that it last very long with low gas. Comfortable cotton seats. Clean and very good condition. Replaces brakes few months ago. The little maintenance cost for my vehicle over the years as a plus for me.
The Honda odyssey that I have Owned since 2007 it's one of the most reliable cars that I've had in my life with over 170,000 miles on my car I've only had to replace my transmission once and I've hardly had any major maintenance problems other than the catalytic converter which just went out and I had to replace. I've taken numerous trips around California over the years with my children and I have never been stuck due to engine problems or issues regarding the vehicle. Maintenance cars have always been low and affordable for me to fix such as oil changes two nights in basic maintenance that you have on any vehicle that's in a group price range between $30,000. Of the best purchases made and I'm still driving 12 years later and help to get another five years

A work horse of a vehicle
Comfortable to drive, picks up speed well, handles curves nicely. Very reliable in the ice and snow, gets great traction, corrects itself well, never had a problem. Love the way I can change around the seating arrangement. Love the audio, video system. Plays DVDs without a problem. Screen has held up nicely. Has plugins in the back seat for extra electronic gadgets. Love being able to lay the back seats down level with the floor so my dogs can ride with ease and or I can load up a bunch of garden supplies, camping gear or groceries. Just a very versatile well driving vehicle, no complaints. Has performed amazingly well over the years. I think it has had an airbag recall. We have replaced a few minor things over the years but I can't recall what. Nothing major though. It currently has over 160,000 miles on it and is going strong. We take it on long camping trips as well as everyday driving. Would recommend an Odyssey to anyway. Great vehicle, great engine.

The color is a cool purple-red.
It is pretty outdated, and a bit clunky to drive. It mostly works fine but I am afraid to take it long distances because it might break down. So it works for now but not a long term vehicle. It also is not exactly eco friendly and takes a lot of gas.

Family vehicle perfection.
What I look for in the perfect family vehicle is comfort, practicality and reliability. The Honda odyssey fulfills each of these requirements beautifully. I can fit my family of six perfectly (with room to spare) in its four bucket seats and back bench seat. The included jump seat that easily slides in between the middle bucket seats provides even more space. Attaching child car seats is a breeze with the built in seat clips. . The back seats also fold down very easily to make a completely flat surface for serious shopping trips. . For long trips the built in DVD player is a lifesaver! It has always functioned well and is easy to use. . We have owned our odyssey for over 7 years and have not had to do any major repair other than a simple front axle fix. Overall, the odyssey has been a superb investment for our family. . My only complaint is in regards to the automatic doors. They are sometimes finicky and do not shut when you pull the handle. I think the problem arose from allowing my young kids to shut the door. They pulled on them too hard and wore something out. Now I do it with the key remote and they work much better. . If our current Honda odyssey ever dies ( although I do not see that happening anytime soon) we will strongly consider purchasing another Honda odyssey.

Comfortable van to drive!!
My Odyssey has been a pleasure to drive. I love the size & overall comfort. It drives very smooth-more like driving a sedan. Plus, with such big windows, I have really good sight lines. I used to drive a Honda Civic for almost 14 years and that was a great car too. But when I first drove the Honda Odyssey, I was amazed at how well I could see around me as I was driving. That just makes me feel more safe on the road. Also, it has tons of cup holders. I think there are literally 16 spots for cups. The 2 main cup holders that are a pull out tray from the dashboard are awesome & fit a variety of size cups. I just wish the cup holders on the center console were deeper & fit a variety of sizes as well. My only complaint is that I wish the van sat up a little higher like an SUV & I lose air in my tires easily. My tire pressure light comes on about once a month or even every 2 to 3 weeks. So I get the air checked in my tires almost every month. I actually bought my van used and it has been awesome until recently. We experienced a flood in our area back in June 2018. Our home flooded & so did our cars. Amazingly, both our cars started after the water drained. But I have been having more problems with it since the flood. It has been in the repair shop for a variety of issues, most likely due to water damage. I had to get a new air compressor which of course is a huge expense. Despite the issues I am having now due to the flood damage, I still really like driving my van and it still drives smooth despite some weird noises it makes that are due to flood damage. When I eventually get a new car, I will most like get another Honda Odyssey.

2007 Honda - great for family!
Comfortable ride. Large enough to carry my 4 grandchildren. They enjoy the DVD player. The 2nd one we have had and we will probably buy another when it is time.

Great family or recreational vehicle
I had transmission problems at first but after a few forums I finally got it fixed. It's a little bumpy after 80mph, but other than that it's an awesome vehicle. There's plenty of room and there's storage compartments everywhere. The 3rd row seats fold down easily, and I'd prefer the 2nd row to fold down as well, but removing them is quite simple. I would highly recommend this van to anyone looking to purchase one since it holds up pretty well with time and weather.

It's very reliable and comfortable and is great for transporting people in comfort.
I love my Honda Odyssey! It is so comfortable for my height (5'3") and easy for me to get in and out of with my arthritic knees. It drives smoothly and I like that I sit up higher than in a sedan. It makes visibility much better on the highway. It's a great vehicle for travel and for trips to the store, especially Costco and Sams and those large purchases.

This car is very comfortable to drive on long trips.
This Honda Odyssey is a great vehicle for travel and is very comfortable for day-to-day driving. It handles well. I don't have any complaints about it.

Rides very well, gets great gas mileage. Low maintenance and lots of room to haul.
Love my van, it runs great, hauls lots of people and a variety of different things. The only thing I don't like is the carpet in the back cargo area. It is hard to clean.

Reliable van, but bad service and paint job.
The paint chips far too easily, but otherwise a great and reliable van, the doors do stick sometime and wont close. They recently installed a new airbag in the steering wheel but did i.e. Poorly and now when I drive over even little bumps the horn honks.

It's so convenient! It has lots of cargo space, is easy to use and maneuver and has great pick-up.
I love the cargo space, the maneuverability (turning radius), feel of buttons, visibility, seat positions, cupholders, center console options and configuration, optional jump seat. The driver's seat could be designed more comfortably. :-( Also, I wish that it had daytime running lights and auto option on the headlights (Which I think is available on later models). Also, I have a leak in my trunk which is annoying and I have had some issues with the steering on/off through the years. Overall though I would totally recommend this vehicle to others and I would absolutely consider purchasing another when this one "goes".

Perfect van for families with small children. Very convenient when you have different size passengers.
Being able to fit 8 people in the van was one of my buying points. You are able to fit in 4 full size 5 point car seat spread apart. The back seats fold down so easily to make more room. The front seat slide up easily for an adult to get in the back. The gas mileage isn't too bad.

8 passenger seating capacity which provides comfort and space for the family and their luggage!
Love size and versatility. Don't love several major issues. Many issues based on age I'm sure.

Love my Honda odyssey: . Very comfortable.
I love my odyssey. It took no time at all to become familiar driving it. It is comfortable with easy access to all compartments. The automatic sliding side doors are a blessing. There's plenty of room in the cargo area whether you are hauling supplies for a project or vacationing. I have been driving this same van for 11 years. I still love it as much as the first day I drove it. As far as problems, not much to report. In the beginning, there were a couple recalls on minor replacement parts. The Honda dealership staff fixed the problems free of charge. Over the years, I have had routine maintenance done on the van. It is been a very safe and reliable vehicle. I am so glad I own it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a purchase.

Great family car, with low maintenance.
I love the Honda Odyssey. It is a reliable car, and very low maintenance. I also like when maintenance is needed the parts are not ridiculously expensive. The seats are spacious and comfortable, I love the heated seats. The blind spots in the care are small. The trunk is spacious and can hold multiple suitcases. With small children the power opening doors are wonderful.

Cannot go wrong with a Honda odyssey!
I bought my 2007 Honda odyssey used at 150,000 miles. I have had it over 2 years with really no issues at all. We have the DVD player install which is a life saver with 3 kids. There is plenty of room for family and friends or to haul anything. Runs smooth and easy to handle on the road. Plenty of bells and whistles even on the regular model. I feel safe in this van. One of the reasons we purchased is because the Honda odyssey is one of the highest rated vans for safety in America. Even after we have decided to move on to a newer vehicle, I will likely stick with an odyssey!

The most important thing people should know about the Honda Odyssey is that it is a road trip necessity! A touring model contains everything that the family needs on a long road trip.
My Honda Odyssey is first and foremost a minivan. When my daughter was younger, this car was great for long vacations and transporting kids around, but now, with a family of just 3, it seems redundant to have such a large car with subpar mileage value and gas efficiency.

We love our Honda Odyssey.
I own a Honda Odyssey. I love it! I love the smooth ride and the fact that the rear seats fold down in the back to make smooth floor to load items in the back. The middle seats are removable also. Apparently, the resale value is very high, because I am constantly receiving offers to purchase my van through email and fliers. Even the dealership that sold us the van has made it very clear that when we are ready to get a new / different vehicle, they are very much wanting to buy our van. Currently, the mechanism that opens the trunk / hatch back is not working. The problem with that is that the replacement part is extremely expensive. We have gotten around this problem by taking out one of the middle seats and using the side in the same way we would use the trunk. Other problems we have had over the years include the side sliding doors not operating and the seatbelt becoming stretched out and not retracting properly. We were very blessed to have paid for an extended warranty and these items were easily taken care of. Other than that, we have not had a lot of problems. Our van has heated seats, which has been very convenient when it is cold out. We have a console in between the front seats. It folds down when we do not need it. There is a console in the middle between the bucket seats as well. That one removes easily like the seats. We purchased the metallic blue van. It is very popular and there are many in our community.
