I actually had a Jeep built, so I added upgrades!! NOT WORTH IT!! I added leather seats, they are terrible, hate the big Jeep logo on them, not comfortable.. Paid extra for rust, waste of money, its rusted all over and I take care of it.. It has been costing me money left and right since I bought it..and again I have to put 1800 in it to get it inspected. It does not drive the greatest and is so low it gets stuck in the snow... Doors get stuck, no leg room in the back.. Lug nuts are cheap and break easily.. I could go on and on and on... No wonder they don't make them anymore!!! If I could give zero stars I would...

2014 jeep patriot car review.
The car operates well. I haven't had many problems with the car. It runs very smoothly. The interior is very nice. The only problem I have run across with the vehicle is the alignment is messed up and my steering wheel is a little crooked at all times, but overall I love the car and everything about it.

I love my jeep. It run so smooth. I have taken it on long trips with no problems. It has plenty of room. It is a great vehicle to use for traveling and for everyday use. It has great gas mileage. This is a great family car too. The cargo area is roomy and specious to put all my belongings plus the back seats fold down if I need the extra space.

Simple dependable midsize car.
We have had multiple issues with the engine and electrical. It would be better if it were a manual shift because sometimes it lags. I love the size and power. It also guzzles gas. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of leg room in the front.

There are no problems, the reliability is consistent, the comfort is amazing, and the features are sporty and professional. It is a good mountain care and has a ton of space for others. The truck is very large to carry a lot and the interior is well designed. Other features include four wheel drive, led lights, radio and aux hook up.

Jeep patriot. Functional, but not smooth.
This vehicle is made to be an off road type vehicle. I am used to more luxury vehicles and in this one you'll feel most every bump, hesitation, or shift. The engine parts are actually pretty quick to go. The radio and air conditioning unit also has many issues. They are also prone to disrepair. The majority of the issues are electronic.

Very nice size and very dependable.
It is very reliable and easy to drive. The dashboard interface is very easy to use and self explanatory. It is the perfect size because it is not huge but it can fit almost anything in the back after the seats are down. I have had very few problems with it and would definitely buy another jeep.

Patriot great vehicle low maintenance.
Jeep patriot is great with 4 wheel drive you do not have to worry about winter weather. It rides well smooth has great power for a 4 cylinder engine which also means it gets good gas mileage. Have had very few problems just routine maintenance, oil changes, brake pads etc. The only problem I see is the shape of a square sometimes makes it hard to put stuff in the back when the seats are put down.

Affordable car. Keep up on maintenance.
Suspension from factory isn't great. I had to replace both front struts, and rear shocks in the third year of owning the car. Front axle replaced under warranty.. In the 4th year sway bar links replaced, and rear upper control arms in the 5th year..Aftermarket parts are better than OEM parts.. Rest of car is fine.

Overall good car for what you pay.
It is fairly reliable, though I have had to have several costly repairs. It is comfortable and pretty spacious, and has all of the features that I would want to have in a car. Overall, I would recommend this make and model. My biggest complaint is that the sun visors are not great.

Jeep patriot: everything a jeep is not.
The patriot lacks power, due to it is 4 cyl engine, and has some trouble with hills and steep inclines. The ride is moderately smooth, and the gas mileage is decent, but the fuel tank is small, so, still expect to be filling up quite often. The interior is cramped, and not comfortable on long drives. The sound system is not that bad. Mechanically, the throttle body control is generally prone to fail within 50-75k miles.

Black base model jeep patriot.
Very reliable car. Good on gas at one point the horn did stop working and battery problems. Other than that the car works pretty fine and is almost paid off. It could drive a little bit smoother and we have a base model which next time will probably be fully loaded instead of base model.

Jeep patriot great family vehicle.
I love how much space it has, the aux jack, how it rides on more rugged terrain, how fun it is to drive, extra room on the roof and in the back. It is a great family car and great for road trips. Gets decent gas mileage. The only issue is one of the headlights gets water in it after heavy rain and causes the light to break. Have had to replace it many times.

Affordable moving vehicle.
I have some issues with the radio. I do enjoy the car starter and seat warmers. I like that it has 4 wheel drive because it's nice in the snow. I like how smooth it drives as well. I also enjoy the amount of room it has when the seats are put down. This car has been good to me since I got it.

A great car for the outdoorsy type!
I really love Jeeps, my car is a 2014. It is not super advanced when it comes to technology that some of the new cars do, but I really like it. The dashboard is simple and easy to use and the gas mileage is not too bad considering how big it is. It is a great car if you spend a lot of time in the mountains or on bumpy dirt roads. There's also plenty of space and the back seats fold down flat so if you travel a lot it is great!

My Jeep.. Likes and dislikes.
My jeep is ok, a little more storage would have been nice, there are no seat pockets, door pockets for back seat. There is a glove box and armrest storage but both are small. Rear storage is on the small side but I make it work. It would be nice if the headrests for the back seat came off when putting seats down that way you don't have to have front seats very far forward. Also the clip that is by the floor for rear facing car seats to be more secured is not present which makes me nervous when my infant granddaughter is in the car.

Problems with the brakes and speakers in the 2014 Jeep Patriot.
I would say that my family's 2014 Jeep Patriot is not really perfect, but we still love it to our heart's content. The only problems that I would say are the brakes and the speakers. Our brakes in the Jeep are suffering a bit due to the fact that my family tends to hit the brakes a bit too hard. I would say the speakers work fine, until you reach a certain level of volume. You can't really go above 17-18 without having some noise come from the speakers themselves. Yet, we do plan on fixing these problems very soon in the near future.

The jeep patriot 2014 survives Vermont.
The jeep runs really well. It is great for winter months with the all wheel drive. If you are a fan of jeeps, you'll enjoy this one. With years of having it, problems have occurred but for the most part it has been a good car for the family. We live in Vermont and this jeep can get us through the roughest of months so we count it as a hero.

Easy to adjust seats, love sitting high.
I love sitting high in an SUV. It is small enough for my 5 foot body. I have no trouble adjusting the seats to where I need them. At 40000 miles, the throttle went out, but it was covered under my extended warranty. Four days later the ignition went out. No problems since, and I am at 52, 000 miles.

I love my vehicle because it looks very outdoorsy and it is so simple. No high tech, just what cars were meant for. It is very comfortable and has a lot of space for camping inside. 2014 jeep patriot limited.
This vehicle is spacious and the leather seats are wonderful especially with having kids. I love the one touch sunroof to open and close makes driving enjoyable on the pretty days. The touch screen radio is really nice as well it has so many options. I enjoy the menu on the dash to go through and see the temperature, tire pressure, radio station and many more options. It is also nice that it is equipped with Bluetooth and voice phone calling also.

Fully loaded is not all it is indicated to be.
My vehicle is the perfect size. There is plenty of room to fit everything I need and feel comfortable in my commuting and traveling. The only downside is the cup holder in the backseat limits foot room. It is fine if you have a child but for an adult it is uncomfortable.

Jeep patriot, base model for off road driving. Just do not stray too far.
The stock tires are not very well suited for winter, however the vehicle handles fairly deep snow in all wheel drive, ice is a different issue though. The air conditioner and heater work great, paired with automatic start it is wonderful in extreme weather. Gas mileage is not terrible, however you'll notice short trips take a toll. Driving daily and depending on how many errands I run after work I have had a tank of gas last between a week too up to two weeks (filling up again around a quarter tank.).

Safety- there are lots of airbags!
Love this car it runs great but I would upgrade so there is automatic locks and windows on the car instead of crank windows and manual locks. This is an extremely safe car and I always feel protected. I wish the seats were leather not fabric as the fabric is harder to maintain than the leather overall this car is awesome.

It drives amazing and the stereo is great.
The only thing I have really had a problem with is the transmission. Other than that it is a great car interior is perfect, and I really like the way it runs. The way the engine is set up it is not too crowded so repairs can be made fairly conveniently. I would recommend this car to anyone.

My car is the most comfortable car I have ever been in. The seats are so warm and soft and make me feel comfortable when I am driving. It rides very smooth, runs good on gas and is very good for the winter. I have grown to love Jeeps as I was becoming an adult and I got my first car at 17 and it was a Jeep Patriot. I have never let my baby go and I do not plan on doing that for a very long time. I hope this car lasts a lifetime.

The jeep patriot is a comfortable cruiser.
My jeep’s performance has been consistently great. It is a bit sensitive when it is cold outside and tends to jerk around when you first begin driving. I live in Texas so it is not much of an issue for me. The driver seat warmer has never worked. I feel safe in my vehicle. I love the fabric seats. The functions are great. I enjoy the size of the vehicle.

The vehicle is great. It is a standard shift so not only does it get great mileage it also acts as a theft deterrent as driving a stick seems to be a dying art. The only thing is that my knees are not as good as they use to be. It does not have many bells or whistles on it but it is reliable.

This is the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. It is a basic model without bells and whistles which means there is less to go wrong. I have had to replace a part that with labor cost a couple of hundred dollars, and did not get great wear out of the original tires but other than that, there have been few problems. I love it!

This car is a great commuter.
Pros: reliable and compact yet large enough to haul tools and kids. Great gas mileage, parts to repair vehicle are affordable and easily found at local parts stores. Cons: seats are not very comfortable for long drives, stock generic rims start to rust after a couple years.

The greatest small SUV around.
The main thing I like about my jeep is the way that it drives. I have tested it on long trips and have never run into any issues. Plus the fact that it is great on gas is a huge benefit. The style of the patriot is very appealing, and it has a good amount of space inside the vehicle. My truck sits 5 passengers comfortably, and has plenty of legroom for it being a smaller SUV. Being a parent of children who are just starting to drive, I would say that the jeep patriot is a good and safe vehicle for both new and established drivers. I have personally had my jeep since march 2017, and haven't had any majors issues arise. I have had to replace my battery and tires, but that was simply because I purchased my vehicle used. If you are searching for a dependable and decent priced vehicle, then I would definitely recommend a jeep product. This has actually been my first experience with the jeep brand, and I have been pleasantly surprised and very happy with my vehicle. I have also met quite a few other people who also have jeeps and have received the same type of feedback. All in all, if you are looking for a smaller type of SUV, the jeep patriot is a very good option. It has a nice look, both inside and out. It has plenty of space inside. My truck also comes with the option of switching from a automatic to a stick shift. I personally prefer the automatic option, but some people would probably appreciate having the option available. For the price, style, and gas intake, I would highly recommend the jeep patriot to other consumers.

It is a beautiful car with a nice sunroof and leather heated seats.
I have no complaints, only thing is heavy on gas usage. It has leather seats along with a display touch screen for music, GPS, etc. It comes with heated seats and a large sunroof. I love the quality of my car and have been using it for 6 years now. Only minor things have had to be done to it.

I love my jeep patriot. It is comfortable enough for long road trips, but still offers the roominess of an SUV. We opted to not get 4 wheel drive because we lived in Florida. But even tho we now live where it snows, we have had no problems getting anywhere we wanted to go.

Reliable vehicle for all terrains.
The jeep performs well in all conditions - rain, snow, pothole-laden gravel driveways, and freshly paved freeways. The gas mileage ranges from 17.5mpg city to ~22 mpg highway. While I would prefer a higher mpg rate, I accept the disadvantage in light of the 4wd, Bluetooth speakers, and -most importantly, the reliability. The two primary issues I have are 1. Seat heater is literally only the seat and not the lower back and 2. Every now and again, the engine will not start when the key turns over in the ignition. The most this has happened was two turns in one instance. After realigning the key and pressing on the break, it starts. There are not any suspicious sounds from the vehicle when this happens. The engine just does not turn over.

Jeep patriot latitude sport.
When I first bought the car, I had spark plug issues, which was an easy replace. I have not have any other issues since then. I have had the car for two years. I love the heated seats, and the four wheel drive, it helps so much in New York snow. The gas mileage would be expected to be horrible but it is very good. I do not need to fill my tank as much as I thought I would. The space in the car comes in handy, I have been using it to transport many things, move my friends and co workers into new apartments.

The remote start feature is good for the winter. The vehicle is white, therefore, it gets soiled very quickly. Additionally, there are seat warmers that are also great for the winter. Feel safe in all weather conditions!
I own a 2014 jeep patriot and it has given me no problems since I bought it October of 2017. It just recently started to give the low tire pressure warning on and off, there were no problems with the tires and it was concluded that the sensor is a little off. I have family that lives in Pennsylvania (I live in North Carolina) and I often take the 500 miles (1,000 miles both ways) trip. I take it at least 6 times a year if not more and it has been the most reliable and safe car I have owned. It is fairly good on gas as well. It is very roomy and I have plenty room for suitcases, etc. To pack for any trips. I also have a dog that goes everywhere with me and he loves the car! Overall, a great vehicle and I will continue to buy jeeps for a long time.

Jeep patriot has been very reliable. Good ride for basic car. Currently my 2014 has over 100,000 miles with great performance. App. 25 miles to gallon. Maintenance easy. Cloth seats have good wear. Console has good storage, separate area for pen/pencil holder. Dual cup holders. Trip odometers. Only complaint has been front seat adjustment bar hits back of legs, causing discomfort.

With a full tank it last all week, which I drive about 40 miles every day. The only downside of the car is that it does not accelerate as it should, because of the small motor.

Roomy, comfortable family of 3 car. Perfect for road trips but not off roading.
I've always like SUVs so this jeep is definitely nice. Mine is not 4 wheel drive and does not have manual locks/windows but it's good for what I do. I have a small child so it has room for the stroller and everything we need. It's roomy enough to make road trips comfortable. The only negative thing is I'm the only one who can drive it because the car seat in the back makes it where the driver seat can't be set back but it's perfect for me.

Jeep patriot...SUV gets over 30 mpg!
I love the way my patriot handles... For a 4-cylinder SUV, it has decent pickup, good stopping power, but I highly recommend going with high quality tires. Stock tires perform terrible in the slightest wet condition. Also, I am quite impressed with the gas mileage, this vehicle is quite efficient and highly dependable.

It has a dashboard on the passenger side that I have never seen in other cars.
I have had the car for 6 years and have never had an issue with anything before. Never had to get it repaired. I have put about 250,000 miles and it runs like new. It is comfortable, but drives bulky like an SUV. A car would be more comfortable. Still for an SUV, it feels the most like a car.

Not the smoothest ride and can be loud as well when driving reasonably comfortable but not a luxury vehicle by any standards.. Maintenance has been minimal. However heat currently comes out defrost only and apparently is difficult and expensive to fix. Reliable when driving in snow although because of its size easily slides when turning.

My experiences in the jeep patriot.
The jeep patriot is very comfortable to take long drives in. There is spacious rear passenger seats accompanied by large trunk space. The gas mileage is also incredible. Twenty dollars takes you places! The sporty exterior makes driving the jeep patriot cool and fun. I will always drive jeep!

2014 white Jeep patriot with Bluetooth.
For a Jeep it is a very smooth ride rather than like driver a Wrangler, the features are great they include heated seats and Bluetooth, I have only had minimal sliding problems in the snow.

It is a safe car impact wise we did a lot of research on different cars safety.
I have issues with the radio like the aux almost never works but I am pretty sure that is because of the person who owned it before me and sometime engine trouble but overall a pretty reliable and safe car that I get compliments on, it has a good amount of space and the seats are comfortable.

For a 4 banger it had amazing drive and handles amazing.
Reliable car drives very smooth. Handles very well and is tall enough where you are not blinded by tricks. Nice interior with lots of room. Great for small family. Also able to attach a trailer hitch and pull small trailers and has racks for attaching things.

I love my jeep, very spacious, and makes you very safe.
It's a really good car with so much space trunk is big, I can fill up my tank with much less money that other SUV’s,. Its awesome for long trips, runs very smooth, and it's a small family vehicle which can 5 people can fit on it, also is not expensive I really love my jeep patriot,

Jeep review, average or not.
I wish it was a little more spacious, and has newer technologies in the vehicle to help the driver. I wish it had a sunroof, and possibly a remote for the trunk. Gas mileage is pretty decent considering the size of the tank. I like the storage space and the ability to lower my seats.

Jeep patriot review- 2014 model.
Never had any problems with it, never been in the shop or given me any experienced technical difficulties. Had it for 5 years and it is still as good as new. Can't think of a better car to own. I would highly recommend buying this car for personal use.

It is reliable for daily driving to work, as well as freeway and highway driving. It has a great cargo space and seats 5 people comfortably. The acceleration is great when merging onto the freeway or changing lanes.
I enjoy driving my Jeep Patriot because it fits me well. It feels safe and is easy to get in and out of. I like being able to see well out of the windows. They allow the old fashioned way of checking if is safe to change lanes - by checking over my shoulder in addition to using the mirrors.

The jeep patriot it a worthwhile purchase for any type of person.
I drive a 2014 jeep patriot that I purchased new in 2014. Since then I have had minimal problems with my vehicle. Most of the issues that do pop up are simple problems from the age and extended use of the vehicle. I highly recommend the vehicle I own for comfort, reliability, and price most of all.

I always feel safe in it.
No problems! The performance of the vehicle is absolutely amazing and very durable! It is always very reliable and extremely comfortable and has plenty of space. It has heated seats and a sunroof plus a pull down speaker in the back to have for tailgating.

Reliable SUV but nothing super amazing to rave about
The Car is currently over 108k miles now and I have had No major issues other than with the throttle body having issues and needing to be replaced. There is Lots of outside noise when driving through. It has been a reliable car but Not a very smooth ride.

It runs every well and I would buy another if needed.
Nothing really other than my motor when out on my window. It rides very well in all shifts but is automatic. Other than that I have no issues other than my own mistakes such as I wrecked it but the bar in the front of the engine protected my engine from being destroyed.

It's really great on gas and it gets the job done.
I love how much miles I can get in my car. I love how it only costs 30 dollars to fill it up. It's also 4x4 which is great for winters.

Jeep patriot review by a college student.
The car has a slow pick up rate as it is only 4 cylinders. The inside is a perfect size for me. The trunk would preferably hold more but is functionable. The car frequently needs gas which is inconvenient. It often gives off the feeling of being pushed over when going very fast or it is a windy day. It highly capable of going off roading in mud and dirt trails.

Jeep liberty review by the current owner.
I love my jeep liberty because it is reliable and sporty. Love having 4 wheel drive because I live in a northern state. My jeep is comfortable and roomy but not too big. It can seat six to eight people. I can lower the back seats for extra cargo room or Christmas packages.

Transition from car to small SUV.
Car is very reliable. Great mileage. One downfall is the backseat area is slightly cramped. Compact size was great when transitioning from a car to small SUV. Have gone on several long trips and found it got great gas mileage. Worth upgrading to leather seats for easier cleaning and heated seats were another perk.

Great all around vehicle for family.
Only thing I do not like is the position of the steering wheel column. It does not leave much room for your legs. I love the size of the vehicle and I feel safe driving it. There is enough room for my dogs to go on an adventure with me and small enough for me to drive comfortably. I love having the Bluetooth.

Love my Jeep! Cute and comfy!
Bought the Jeep patriot limited a year ago and love it! Just wish it got better gas mileage. But I was anticipating it so I am not disappointed. Is durable, reliable and comfy! The adjustable seats are great and storage is a breeze with the back seats down and using the rear area.

An unassuming great every day driver that is good on fuel.
I really love how comfortable the ride is. Bought used with a pioneer avh head unit already installed. Factory speakers sound great! Plenty of room for family, pets, outdoor and recovery gear. I love how many aftermarket parts are available for the jeep to customize it to my tastes personally.

Not a great investment, poor gas mileage, not the greatest vehicle.
Poor gas mileage, less than 18 miles per gallon, vehicle does not have long term reliability, have had to replace several parts, rear doors do not open wide enough, can barely open wide enough to fit anything, back glass upper hatch leaks into the back of car.

The jeep patriot is a real trooper; made to serve and protect.
Our jeep has always. Been very reliable. The thing I really love about it is that it is a stick-shift! The interior has mostly held up well. The only issue is the passenger side carpet/material at the back of the legroom area is falling down/falling out.

My jeep patriot is a highly dependable car.
I have had nothing but good things to say about my jeep patriot. I have had the car for nearly seven years at this point, and have never run into any performance related issues. The car drives smooth, and is very comfortable. If you live in a hot climate such as Georgia or Florida, the air conditioning is fantastic.
